Fantastic experience: I’ve been dancing at Element Dance Arts for almost 12 years now and the strongest memory I have is how supportive and engaged everyone here is. They have built such a strong community of staff and dancers that really make this studio feel like home. The effort and time they put into everything really shows how much of a greatly appreciated environment this studio is for everyone. Everyday I look forward to coming to the studio to share the passion my teachers gave me and I get so motivated by the special community I walk into everyday. Growing up here has made me a stronger, caring and more confident person which has helped me excel in more than just dance. I am forever grateful for everything Element Dance Arts has done for me and my future!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been dancing at Elements for 10 years now and has made some of the most amazing connections with the awesome teaching staff. They have brought her out of her shell and really taught her how to be confident in herself and her dance. This studio is like home for us. The positive reinforcement and the amazing life lessons that my daughter has received has been life changing for her. This studio has been able to offer her so many opportunities and has really challenged her through her 10 years here. We are very grateful for the support they show.

Fantastic experience: My child has been dancing here for 3 years. The staff is amazing, friendly, and very helpful with whatever you need. I also love that they offer activities year round for the children and have adult classes. My daughter loves this dance studio and all her teachers. We are so thankful we found this studio.

Positive experience: My daughter just finished her 3rd season and other daughter finished her first. Everything is great except when it comes to some organizational items and the year end recital. Everything besides the performances at the year end recital is a nightmare.The location being in waterloo , the theatre is very small and congested, having a recital multiple nights and through the week is not ideal especially for young kids who have to wake up for school . Not to mention the outrageous price of tickets being 40+ $ per ticket. I feel like for the recital there is better options for location/theatre and to have it on a weekend and also to not price gouge families that are already paying 130$ a costume which is also insane. Other than that dance lessons are always enjoyable and the girls always have a lot of fun. But should rethink a few things for future . Alot of people were complaining as they do every year but yet the studio never changes anything.

Fantastic experience: When we started at EDA 8 years ago it was a Saturday morning activity for our then 3 year old daughter, and today it is her whole world. Her teachers are exceptional. It is my daughter’s second home. I would highly recommend EDA if you are looking for a place for your child to learn dance, work as a team and build a strong work ethic. ❤️

Fantastic experience: I signed up my daughter for their parent and tot class this year. I have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience. She loves going to dance class every Saturday. Ms. Hayley is fantastic, she loves teaching children and as the patience of an angel when the children “don’t listen”. Having the pleasure of meeting Stephaine (co-director) she has a passion for her studio and promoting a high quality dance education. As long as my daughter wants to dance, I believe we have found our forever home.

Fantastic experience: EDA has become an amazing second home to my daughter.

Negative experience: This place made my daughter feel like a second class citizen she absolutely started hating going to something she loved her whole life. Also I felt if you didn’t fit into their idea of what was considered to be the ideal you weren’t going anywhere.

Negative experience: This studio was a horrible experience! Do not sign your child up to learn dance here!!! Still have anxiety about it!
