The Playground Global - Scarborough

Negative experience: First time booking here and it is so dirty and not well maintain. Garbage everywhere and the shooting lane floors are in need of a redo.

Negative experience: This appears to be a fraudulent activity. Legal action should be considered against the Scarborough location Playground for allegedly renting a shooting lane for $35 with no apparent access. If you guys love your money, please dont come here...

Negative experience: Worst court ever in Toronto Not Toronto but in the world. Save your money and be aware of this court. Biggest scammers

Fantastic experience: Nice one

Negative experience: On 10/18/24, I reserved a basketball court for my group. However, upon arrival, we found multiple individuals already playing on the court. Despite our attempts to inform them of our reservation, they did not acknowledge us and continued to play, which disrupted our plans. This situation was quite frustrating, as we had specifically booked the court in advance.

Negative experience: I had a booking today at 8AM-10AM and arrived earlier knowing the door could potentially be locked. Turns out I was right. After sending them multiple emails and messages leading up to my booking to ensure door was unlocked so my group can play, the door was locked. Waited until 9AM and no one showed up and no one picked up the phone. Has a great court but wish the customer service was better. Asking for a refund at the moment and compensation but still heard nothing back. Hoping for this to be resolved asap. Would recommend if customer service gets better for the client.

Negative experience: Terrible gym to book, arrived and can’t even get into the building with nobody to contact. Save your money

Negative experience: We came in the morning and the place was locked and the person who’s supposed to open it isn’t responding. They responded once and then didn’t respond for almost an hour and we had to leave.

Negative experience: Been here more than once waiting to get let in. It's really annoying having no way to contact them cause they leave their mailbox full. Probably not planning on coming back anytime soon.

Negative experience: We are currently standing outside in the blistering cold trying to access the gym. We have been calling and banging on the door with no response. Terrible customer service, don’t come here.

Positive experience: It’s a cool place. Needs to be renovated though.

Negative experience: We Booked for 9am. It's 10:35 and no staff has shown up to open door

Negative experience: Booked a small full court for kids. We went there and there was a basketball camp booked almost the whole day. Tried calling management a couple of times and no response. Wasted half an hour doing nothing and waiting for something. Not worth it and not going back.

Negative experience: Don’t bother with this place. Booked online and showed up only to find no staff members anywhere, and the one I did find kept saying she doesn’t deal with bookings and doesn’t know what to do. Number on the website didn’t pick up either. They’re just gonna waste your time.

Positive experience: Very badly managed.. do not have professional game here .. view to the court is restricted

Negative experience: Such a bad Court pillars in between cannot even see the full game - there is no proper score board we cannot even see the scores - no screen - washrooms we’re locked kids had game in morning everyone had tuff time to use washrooms as it was locked - overall very bad. Very upset with the experience and the staff.. they didn’t even put salt at the entrance it was soo slippery - note there is no lift - it’s all steps if ur planning to get ur grandparents who can’t take steps please think before u get them here..

Positive experience: My only issue was how hot it was inside.Other then that its a really nice gym and fun to play in.

Negative experience: They don’t update the booking system. We booked and people were there and we didn’t even get to play on the main court. We were given the trash plastic floor court. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

Fantastic experience: Great court at an affordable price

Positive experience: Celebrated a birthday here. Not sure if there was an elevator but you need to climb up to get to the court. The place looked like it’s not maintained well and often.

Fantastic experience: My son just had 5 days of great team building basketball. The trainers were very experienced, friendly and fun. He was taught a new move everyday which he is practicing on a daily bases. We both recommend this facility for any kid that wants to be taught the correct way to play ball.

Negative experience: Garbage. They’re facility is hideous. I’ve had too many friends say they cancelled their booking. You book 3-4 weeks in advance and a couple days before they’ll cancel on you. I even heard they cancel bookings to make room for their friends. Unacceptable. They’re website doesn’t even work. Says slots are available but when you go to reserve it, they say it’s booked. No organizational skills at all. Highly don’t recommend. Go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Unfortunately our booking was cancelled without explanation and despite several calls made and emails sent out no response was ever received. I would give the playground zero stars but at least the online booking processes was easy so one star is warranted

Positive experience: The courts aren't very good, with many of them made with a plastic tile, than doesn't sound right. It can get hot and stuffy.
