Negative experience: Terrible management boot you off the property they don’t know anything about exersize might as well work out at home they will find out the hard way when people realize how shady the management is and they have to close they’re doors they deserved it during the pandemic they found out what it’s like to be booted out they were booted out of they’re own .I outexersized everyone at this gym beat all they’re trainers and everything because am an advanced roller skater and ice skated even a figure skater that studied for 10 years said if she attempted to do what I can do on skates she would fall so there you have a person that studied skating telling me a person that never studied it saying they can’t do what I can do .some people just have it most dont which is why people on staff at this gym did something shady with my membership.There is a Chuck owner here can’t trust a Chucky.According to scripture Jesus said the Devil is the ruler of the world such problematic businesses like this is proof Satans system is going down don’t even have to read the bible to see this just look at the foolish people like at this place they have Zero ability

Negative experience: Continued to charge money after membership was cancelled.

Negative experience: Garbage gym! No proper hvac! Equipment making squeaky noises when working on machine on lower level. Not worth.

Fantastic experience: This is a great hometown family gym. Not a fan of half dressed folks working out or slamming weights (it is not a cross fit gym) but the amenities are truly valuable for a small community. Staff are great, friendly and the facility is always clean.

Fantastic experience: My son is in swimming lessons here .everyone is so friendly and they are great with him. He is a 3 year old so I'm happy they are so good with him.

Positive experience: Great place but should have a bathroom on the bottom floor

Negative experience: I'll give you money if you weren't so expensive. All I need is to lift weights so why isn't there an option for just that no other amenities?

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for 12 years. Staff here is always incredible. I have been to other gyms on free passes, and even other Movati locations, and this is by-far the best gym. If I had to give any suggestions, it would be regarding machines and equipment. At times, the club will get rid of certain machines or equipment. When I've inquired, I was told it was due to space or not much use by members (e.g., glute kickback machine, 45° hyperextension, second leg press). There are also some areas that aren't the most practical to use for working out, and some areas are hard to get to due to space. I know that the staff does take member feedback and welcomes suggestions, and I do know that this gym also does invest in new equipment regularly (e.g., an updated functional training area, new glute drive, etc ). The gym will also provide bands for you, if needed, and if you ask. Some of their awesome staff members have even provided me their personal equipment when I've forgotten my own. Highly recommend Movati!

Fantastic experience: Staff is great and I always have a great experience. Happy to be back after Covid. The price is a bit more than what I would like, but this gym always feels like home. Would highly recommend!

Negative experience: I paid for my membership in full for a year back in February. Pandemic forced Movati to close shortly after. Now they have re opened and you have to have appointments. This does not work for me because I drive truck. My start and times fir work are unknown. Not reimbursing me my money is just wrong. I would never of signed up if I had to have reservations.

Negative experience: Due to unforeseen circumstances could not continue using the facility, requested to freeze account until Windsor site was open. Would not allow to freeze account unless medical issue. Essentially forcing me to cancel and pay out contract. Contract does not mention anything about criteria and as you can see in the snapshot of there policy online no details either. Wasn't asking to stop account, simply on hold and once site I could use was open finish the remaining balance (obviously adding the months on that were on hold) of my contract and continue with Movati. So you want to continue as a Movati member, even after the contract is over but in order to do so you need to cancel, payout the full balance then rejoin? Requested to speak with GM who then gets the supervisor to call, place on speaker phone while they sit in background never discussing it personally. Then told life happens. Received email with cancel form and indicates 0 balance owing. Told later that that was "at the time" it was issued. No details on remaining balance to be paid. Then told its on another site as you cant see it on the movati site.(manage my account) How hard is it to put the balance owing on the cancellation form? Regional manager then tells me Movati does not allow you to freeze the account per policy and if I resume paying this facility that I will receive a "cafe card" once Windsor opened and began using that facility. I then ask the regional manager for balance owing and have to be placed on HOLD to figure it out. 5 minutes later provides a balance to which I requested in writing the balance owing. Then go online and only shows balance owing since issue began (for what had been accumulating with fees charged) but not total balance. So if Regional manager struggled to get balance to be paid out, the supervisor and general manager cant put it on the form, the expectation is the member should know about some other site to find balance but in manage my account it fails to provide it. Legal action is now pending as a result of having a signed cancellation form with balance owing of $0 and no indication of policy in contract signed along with lack of criteria in attached policy. I hope "life happens" doesn't occur with anyone else and beware that there is no concern for members. You're just a number and a dollar sign.

Negative experience: Very expensive .... small in Amherstburg . I have my membership with GoodLife fitness all Ontario with towel services & I pay 21$ every 2 weeks I wanted to join them because I just moved to Amherstburg but they disappointed me.

Negative experience: Called to inquire about a student membership. Prices so high, comparable to an adult. I really can't believe a student would have to pay $50 plus a month to workout. Goodlife Fitness offers FREE memberships for the summer for kids age 12-18. The american chains are offering unbeatable prices. I can't wait till there are more options in Amherstburg for students. That price is just morally and ethically wrong.

Fantastic experience: Very nice facility, however there's not much of a variety in classes. I love working out with my trainer! He always has a great workout lined up!

Positive experience: Just bought a membership a 2months ago had the motivation to go every day but I work so much I'm to tired and stuck in ayear contact:( gonna hopefully try to get the motivation back again that's money I'm loosing if I don't go
