Fantastic experience: Best gym in town!

Negative experience: Went in at 12:30pm to workout for a bit since I was in town for a couple of days. I had my husband drop me off. When i was in i said ok to the $20 day pass and was in the middle of getting that done when i was told i could only workout for 25 minutes because the staff had to leave at 1pm. Why even charge me $20 then for a "day pass"? I told them i was just dropped off, and i just wanted to come in to workout for about an hour if that's possible. I was told no, given no options, other than - come Monday instead. So I had to leave and be on the plaza stranded until I got my ride again. So anyways, it's false advertising, this gym is not 24/7. They could have easily let me in and stay past 1pm, without having a fob. You don't need a fob to leave. I went in when the staff was there, and to be asked for $20 for a day pass that's just 25 minutes is just not right. My brother has a trailer in the area so I've been coming here almost every weekend specially in summer. I was excited to know there was a gym in town I could checkout but I guess they don't welcome guests there.

Fantastic experience: The facility in Port Perry is clean and well maintained. It has a wide variety of equipment that would cater to the fitness needs of most people. The staff is friendly and the security is good.

Negative experience: Would not allow me to cancel membership over the phone. I live in a remote area and it was absolutely necessary for me to cancel the membership remotely. Now they have collections after me for a membership that I hadn’t used in years. Scammer gym. Don’t sign up..

Fantastic experience: Anna was amazing and made me feel so good and comfortable. Everyone has made me feel welcomed. I’m enjoying my experience there.

Fantastic experience: This is the first gym I ever went to, and I could not be happier. Amazing staff that are there to help, but aren’t too pushy. Wide variety of machines and weights. They offer more services than you can imagine, and are very clean. Definitely a great gym to join.

Fantastic experience: Set up well, very clean and great staff. Up front about pricing (initiation fee) but value for price paid is incredible. All the machines and weights you could want but unlike huge gyms not 5 of everything, but hey it's waaayyy better than some huge gym.

Positive experience: I have really enjoyed being a member at this gym. The equipment is new and well maintained, in addition to everything being extremely clean. The manager Bill runs this place like the Navy. He ensures everything is squared away at all times, while still being very approachable and just straight up nice. The membership cost is slightly higher than what I would have expected but you routinely see employees going the extra mile so it’s money well spent. The only hang up for me is that there are no lockers. This has me bringing my keys with me everywhere I go, while leaving other valuables in the car. Nonetheless I still love this place and if lugging keys around like a custodian is as bad as it gets then I’d say they are doing alright. Keep up the good work.

Positive experience: I used to work out at this gym and I never had any problem. But when I had to get ahold of them being out of country to fix a fob problem I never heard back from them.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym I've ever joined in Durham Region (and that's going back 25 years!) The club is always immaculate and the owners and manager are stellar in terms of how they treat members and remember the little things about them. It's just the right size and even the other members are courteous and get along well. It's just a great spot .... I can't say enough good things about it.

Might sound corny but they make you feel like your part of a bigger family and are genuinely commited to help you with your goals and cheer you on. Best experience in a gym environment I've ever had. Literally can't say enough about Anna (Owner) and Bill (Manager) and the facility. It truly is a great place to workout and train. You won't be disappointed!

Negative experience: For a gym (if you can even call it that) it is bare bone for a rediculous price. It's almost 200$ for your first month and they'll charge you 50$ for a fob to enter the gym. Honestly you'd save money on gas driving to Oshawa or Whitby for a membership. For the price of over 50$ a month they don't offer basic services many other gyms offer (there's not even a change room you change in a bathroom and put your stuff in a cubby). I was serverly disappointed with this gym.

Positive experience: Good clean gym. Newer modern equipment. Not crazy busy. Never waiting for machines. If I could make a recommendation, it would be that the water out of the fountain and sinks is luke warm and not filtered (when all you want is clean cold water during an intense workout)

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym. Staff is amazing and make an effort to speak with members as well as checking in on how they can constantly improve. The gym is 10/10 when it comes to organization and cleanliness. Constantly see staff cleaning throughout the day. One of the best gyms I’ve ever been to, highly recommended!

Positive experience: Best Anytime location I've seen so far in the Durham Region. Not too busy between 12am-2am when I go. Nice equipment, complimentary sweat towels are a great touch.

Negative experience: Terrible gym. Rude staff. Rude patrons. Small cramped spaces. Weird showers. No lockers. Spend your money elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I have now been going to this anytime fitness for 2 years now. One of the reasons I joined this gym is because I travel for work. I have been all over and have visited many anytime fitness gyms and this is one of the best. This is one of the best gyms in Port because of their group exercise classes. I love working out with groups because it keeps me motivated. So many gyms dont have this and I dont like them as much. The classes also help me meet other like minded people without feeling awkward. Its so nice to meet other people to workout with. The staff at this gym go out of their way to help you meet people and get you into classes that will help you acheive your goels, and stay motivated. Check out the spin classes there fun! In my books this is an A+ gym.

Fantastic experience: In my opinion this is the BEST gym in all of Port Perry. It's clean, bright, and has plenty of equipment and space to do your own thing (body weight exercises, etc). They run classes, but there is plenty of time when the fitness studio portion of the gym is not in use. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and they know everyone by name. The owners are fantastic people! Lots of nice small touches too. I love the free Wi-Fi so I can download podcasts or stream music while doing my workouts without burning through my iPhone's data plan. The keyfob is tiny, unlike those bulky credit card things some other places use for secure access. All around a great experience and totally worth a few extra bucks. Regular exercise is an important part of living an awesome life. Join this gym. You will love it.

Fantastic experience: Great owners! Nice people. Personal training also great at reasonable prices. So happy that they have group fitness classes as well. Can't go wrong here.
