Positive experience: never been but looks like a frat party from the outside

Fantastic experience: A terrific gym with fantastic staff! My parents have a cottage on Lake Muskoka and I was visiting from BC for 3 weeks. This gym was so convenient with its hours, location, reasonable cost. But what made it even better was how supportive, kind, and respectful the staff were there. They went out of there way to make sure everyone had a safe workout with the equipment and space needed. The gym has a very community vibe to it so no matter your fitness level or type of exercise you'd like to do you are comfortable and feel included. It is hard to find that feeling at a gym. It is also super clean and well organized. I look forward to going back next summer! Thank you Snap Fitness Bracebridge!

Fantastic experience: I'm here in Bracebridge visiting for a week and was easily able to get a week long pass for a very reasonable price. The gym is nice and cool on these hot mornings, everyone is very friendly and there is plenty of equipment to do whatever you need. Bonus, I get to watch the Olympics while working out! I'll definitely be back when I visit next year. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Everything you need for bodybuilding, powerlifting or general workout. The staff is helpful and friendly and the gym is very clean. 4 fullracks, bench press, free weights and machines. We bought a day pass and could do our regular workout In case you’re not a member, please check staff hours on the website first to ensure you can get a day pass.

Fantastic experience: Lot's of clean equipment and knowledgeable staff to help with your fitness goals

Negative experience: I canceled 3 times changed my card number 3 times. They still keep Charging out of nowhere! Reception confirms the cancelation but cannot provide a receipt or email. I'm forced to cancel my business credit card because of this! I was in town working for a couple months! I'm over 2 hours away! Foolish people! On of the staff members working puffed him self up stating he's a previous police officer getting rude and a bit aggressive towards me! For just coming to work out! Beside in Toronto you can get a membership for $16 they want over 66 dollars a month! For a tiny studio of a gym!

Positive experience: Decent, clean, I like the 24/7 availability. Not my first gym. I struggle with the seated leg curl machine because no matter what I set the size or weight to, I slide forwards and it puts pressure on my quad muscles when I curl the weight. Fantastic experience: Promote Emma to head of Public Relations, her positivity and genuine people skills are wasted on wiping down machines and keeping the place clean (wich she did a wonderful job of as well) Gym was great, awesome atmosphere

Negative experience: hot. This is not my first gym to attend and a gym is suppose to feel cooler then the mid afternoon summer heat. But whenever I workout during the summer it's disgustingly warm in the gym. Secondly, the gym is very small and often their are groups of teenagers who go to workout. Basically anytime a group of 10 teenagers come in, the gym is taken over. Additionally there are no dressing rooms just washrooms to change...All for a bargain price of $70

Fantastic experience: It's been a few years since I have used this facility, but it remains my favourite. It was 24hr access to members and had a wide variety of equipment that was well maintained and up to date. I spent many hours there and it helped me to get in the best shape of my life. I wish I had access again as I miss the gains I had acquired in this fantastic facility.

Fantastic experience: This Snap location has become one of the best equipped gyms in Ontario. Everything is new, clean and well organized. Serious weightlifters will be happy with the three power racks and dumbbells to 150lb. Fitness buffs will find every trending piece of equipment from weight sled to punching bag to good cardio machines, to a body fat analysis machine. There are three different main rooms that each have their own atmosphere. There is great light and space in each room. The clients seem to display a full range of fitness levels. I have never seen this gym crowded. A newbie will not feel out of place as one can find their own area of interest without intimidation. There are TV's placed thoughtfully and a decent sound system. Motivational blackboards grace the walls. As a serious fitness competitor and weightlifter for decades, I cannot see how this gym could be improved. Finally, the competent staff is as friendly as can be.

Fantastic experience: Not sure why this location has only 4.1 stars. Came in for a day pass and while in town visiting friends. Clean space, good mix of equipment, good quality and new equipment, and not too busy. If I lived locally, this would definitely be my go to gym.

Fantastic experience: This is the to go to place for a nice workout. Snap fitness in Bracebridge has created such a great space and atmosphere that you just feel welcomed. The stuff there are incredible and ready to help out with any questions. The prices are also very reasonable considering all the cool perks that come with it such as, 24hr access, massage chair sauna and much more. I've been going to this gym for many years now and it's been the best experience with everyone that goes here as well. I totally recommend this place to anyone wanting to start and or continue there fitness journey. Lots of space to get whatever workout you'd like done.

Fantastic experience: Great place to workout at, the atmosphere feels great and everyone is friendly and to top it all, the stuff are awesome and helpful at any given time. The space is filled will all sorta equipments that you can get all the workouts accomplished. The new owners are fully committed to everyone's health and fitness that they've created a space everyone feels safe and comfortable. I've been going to this gym for 3 years and totally recommend it to anyone. Now go get your workout on

Positive experience: Had a free pass , not what I expected and pricey!!!!!

Negative experience: Lots of machines - including a sauna and a tanning bed - but the vibe here is definitely not for me. My husband didn't enjoy it either, so it's not a male/female gym thing. I question the cleanliness - not a lot of cleaning stuff around. The price is right for a lot of people.

Fantastic experience: Amazing atmosphere

Negative experience: New ownership. And poor customer service to go with it. Been a member here for years. It is kept cleaner now but the new owners make it pretty clear customer service is not the priority. After all these years I will be hoping a new gym opens up in town.

Negative experience: New owners perhaps but the service and demeanour is not the same! Shame there aren’t many other choices in the area.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, missing some machines, but you'll be able to make do.

Negative experience: Have tried three times to come in and sign up again, all during business hours. Twice nobody has come to the door, and the third time I had to be let in by a member who told me who to talk to. I was then told the computer system was down and the employee didn’t really know what to do. He said their main manager was going school and so the schedules hadn’t been done properly and the manager couldn’t fix the computer. I was told to try and come another day. I’ve called countless times and tried to leave a message, but the inbox is full. Very frustrating, disappointing and slightly ridiculous as all I want to do is sign up.
