The instructor was phenomenal, and helped us feel comfortable and silly when we needed to laugh. My arms and legs were jelly afterwards, but in the best possible way. Thanks very much!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the studio for a year now and will definitely keep attending different classes. I tried aerial silks, aerial yoga, twerk lessons, and pole dance. I really enjoy my pole lessons and definitely see progress, plus its a fun way to work out. I recommend trying lessons with different teachers because every teaching style is unique. I have been mostly going to Bianca’s pole 2 class on Tuesdays and I LOVE how she cheers me on, it is a huge motivator. Everyone at this studio, both teachers and students are very nice and supportive. I am happy to be part of this community and I keep recommending this place to everyone I know ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: This studio changed my life. A year and a half ago I first time came to the studio and it was very intimidating to decide to try some classes. Now I am a 40 years old woman who can’t imagine my life without the Cherry Blossom. I learned a killing amount of stuff yet every class is still challenging and the workouts are unreal. Teachers are very patient and explain things very detailed, there are levels for all classes so you can gradually achieve your goals! Love love loveeeeeeee this place and people who work there ❤️❤️❤️.

Negative experience: The website states you had classes at 2pm today and we went there at 1:45pm. We waited until after 2pm and no one came. This is irresponsible, unacceptable

Fantastic experience: This is the most welcoming studio to get out of your comfort zone and get stronger. The instructors are nationally certified to keep you safe and really take the time to work with each person at their individual level. I've been training in & out of this place as I keep moving across Canada and can't stress enough that this is the most fun & challenging studio out there!

Positive experience: I really loved the experience I had at this place. All the instructors were really welcoming and nice. The classes from the novice point offer lots of options to build the strength you need to do more advance stuff later on and at your own pace. I feel like the pricing is pretty fair. The studio is clean and overall it’s a great time for anyone looking to build strength and learn a new skill. The reason it’s not a 5 star for me though (and if I could I’d put it at a 4.5 instead) is it’s sort of unclear how and when you advance from level 1-2 and so on in silks, I felt a bit cursed with the timing (my old work was a schedule mess and then covid hit- but that is on my end not theirs) so sometimes the limited classes made it really hard to find time to attend, Aswell they can fill up fast. The studio was really great about the classes I missed because of covid shut down but I only had 30 days once they opened to re use them and sign up, I was still uncertain about Covid policies and the safety in small spaces breathing heavy so I opted not to use them and placed it as a covid write off and loss. Unfortunate because I felt a little lost with what steps I should take to keep learning silks and it felt like there wasn’t anyone clear to talk to about it I won’t be going back. :( I’m sad about that and would completely still recommend this place to anyone because overall it was an incredible experience. Just wish there was a bit more direction (I suppose I like structure) and options for class times (you have to have a very set schedule to go). Overall though if you are considering trying pole or silks or twerking or anything they offer.... do it! It will make you feel so confident and strong <3

Fantastic experience: I love every class that I've taken so far (pole, aerial silks and aerial yoga). They are each challenging in their own way and you feel very accomplished after each class. I feel myself getting stronger and more flexible every week!

Fantastic experience: I’m starting my second session of beginner pole dance and I am LOVING the classes! Chelsea is so enthusiastic and takes the time to explain everything and demonstrate moves as many times as we need it. I’ve now found something that not only challenging my body, but also is really fun and exciting. I look forward to class every week. Can’t wait until my next class!!!!

The staff and students are so friendly and supportive, it keeps me inspired. There is honestly nowhere I’d rather be on a Friday night than taking classes with Chelsea (one of the many amazing instructors) definitely recommend!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This place lifts my spirits every time I go. Had a bad monday? Go take a pole class. Your boss is mad at you? Dance it out at Cherry Blossom. Cherry Blossom is warm, welcoming, and adjusts class levels to any level of fitness and experience. I have taken pole, silks, and flexibility classes here, and all were fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Negative experience: Took my money and ran. I can understand not refunding someone for a missed appointment, even if it was due to something out of their control. This is understandable. But to repeatedly ignore follow-ups for a rescheduling from someone willing to pay is not only poor customer service, it is borderline unethical business practice. My emails were ignored for months until someone finally got back to me, declining any further contact after the funds were received. I gave every benefit of the doubt on this, as months of time were given between this happening (summer 2018) and my writing this review now. I therefore, unfortunately, felt an obligation to leave this review.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to CB for over a year now. I fell in love with it so hard I even joined the Aerial Exchange program. The instructors are absolutely incredible. They have all contributed in more ways than one to help me blossom, grow and come out of my shell. The entire community here helped me learn to appreciate and love my body. For how it looks and for all the incredible things it can do. I feel accepted and safe here. I love this place and can’t imagine my world without it!!!

The instructors pay attention to each and every student and even explain or demonstrate in different ways until you comprehend or have the basics you need to practice to be able do a move or combo. The studio is always clean and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. Cherry Blossom attracts the kind of people you would want to be friends with. I never thought I would like aerial dance so much and I would have to thank Cherry Blossom and all the instructors for that.

Fantastic experience: What's not to love about CB?? LOVE the classes, the atmosphere and the instructors!! I found an activity that challenges me but the results are very rewarding. Andrea is amazing as an instructor and as a person!

I tried out one of the memberships, and the staff helped me figure out which was the best fit for me. Definitely would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to CB for a few months and love it! I love that they have teaser classes to test out if it's something you would be interested in before committing to the 6 week courses. There is so much more than just pole, my favourite is the aerial silks and have made such progress in the last few months with my skills. I also love all the different fitness and flexibility classes that set me up for better success in the silk classes. And lastly it's a great atmosphere - I was intimidated because I am not a petite woman but there are people of all different sizes, instructors and students alike. And the instructors get genuinely excited and happy for you when you meet a goal or gain a new skill! I HIGHLY recommend this place :)

Fantastic experience: I've enjoyed attending classes at Cherry Blossom for years! When you start out the pole can seem intimidating, but Andrea and the other instructors quickly make you feel at home. It's a safe, welcoming and encouraging environment. You develop strength and flexibility as you progress, and you learn to let go of your hang-ups. I recommend it to everyone, and quite a few of my friends have joined me there. :)

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!!! Was denied entry because I was a couple of minutes late after bussing for 2 HOURS across the city to get there. They literally DO NOT CARE and expect you to turn right around and bus another 2 hours back. They also did not even bother notifying that a class was cancelled resulting in another 4 hour round trip. Needless to say, I did not return for the remaining lessons that were paid for upfront. They DID NOT GIVE MONEY BACK for the entire course package and acted as if they "didn't know how this happened". VERY DISSAPOINTING:(

Fantastic experience: I travel all over Canada and train at all different kinds of pole studios.. this one is so inviting and innovative.. I've learnt my best aerials here and the instructors spotting techniques make me feel so safe! I love it there and I'll always come back when I'm in town!

Fantastic experience: Cherry Blossom is a positively structured and uplifting aerial dance studio. The classes are good sizes, the teachers are professional and very highly trained in the aerial arts and the atmosphere is positive and encouraging to all students. The owner is very involved in all aspects of each class to make sure students are getting the most out of their experience. This studio is quaint and class sizes are smaller to allow students to have one on one training and interaction with the teachers. I have not been to any other dance studio with the level of passion and enthusiasm as Cherry Blossom presents. I would recommend this studio to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place in Ottawa to learn pole fitness and aerial silks, especially without feeling judged or awkward. The staff is great. I took classes with Andrea, she's amazing, she really explains the steps well and in detail and takes the time to make sure you understand... I didn't feel rushed Most teachers will move on to other moves even if you haven't figured out what you're doing yet but with Andrea she takes the time to ensure you know what you are doing, which is vital to avoid injuries too!

Fantastic experience: I am lazy and don't have any interest in fitness, but I went here for a bachelorette party and I had an amazing time. Pole dancing and burlesque was a lot of fun and I found out that these are actually a type of fitness I'd be willing to stick with! Fantastic experience: We had a bachelorette party there on Saturday April 30th, for a pole and twerk class! we were all amateurs and have never done anything like it before. it was an amazing experience we had a blast and our teacher Andrea was so open and fun to work with! super talented!!! we did it in the early afternoon and it was a great way to start off our day! she gave the bride a special gift - overall we made great memories and had the best time! i will defiantly recommend it to all my friends! thanks again Andrea for your great service and spirit!

Fantastic experience: I’ve loved taking pole classes here! Andrea is a great motivator and really helping me to control my poling (correcting bad habits I picked up elsewhere). I’ve been coming to this studio for more than just pole. The variety of classes offered throughout the week really helps keep my body guessing and I attend a few classes each week. Chair dance is a fun way to mix it up, polefit really makes you sweat and flexibility is a definite recommendation if you’re looking to become more bendy. I haven’t tried all the classes they offer yet, but from what I’ve taken it’s been fantastic! Next goal is to brave the aerial silks.

Fantastic experience: I started pole dancing a couple of years ago and when I moved to Ottawa last summer, I started pole dancing at Cherry blossom in October. I decided to go there a bit randomly, but also because it is kind of close to my job. I had my first class with the amazing owner of the studio Andrea! She was so welcoming and so much fun right on the first day I met her! I loved the pole class and stayed for the flexy class right after which I loved to! I now go every week and really enjoy it! The girls in the class are very friendly and I always look forward to go to class! Rio is also a very good instructor (she thaught me 1 or 2 classes). The studio is also very nice. It's very clean and colorful! :P There is 45mm and 50mm poles in the studio and you put them static or spinning. So basically I really recommend this studio!!! :) So much fun and such a good exercise! So much choices of classes as well! (There is other classes like burlesque, fit classes, silk…. but I never took them because of lack of time, but 1 day I'll for sure try some of them too!).

Fantastic experience: CB is honestly the best aerial studio ever. Its not just about Pole Dancing. Its aerial yoga, burlesque, fitness, flexibility and so much more. I had always wanted to try pole dancing and this was the best decision ever. Its a big family over there, everyone gets happy when you reach a new stepping stone and it always brings a smile to my face. The teachers are awesome! Always ready to help you better yourself. CB is the best and I havent regretted one minute of it!

Fantastic experience: Took a pole teaser here in 2012 out of mild curiosity(whats to lose it was only $15)...best thing I ever did for myself, it changed my life. The classes are so much fun. It was instantly my new(and first) fitness program and my hobby. You are motivated to keep coming to classes to learn the next move and the next and then before you know it your rocking a 6 pack! The instructors are encouraging and fun and its a very welcoming and inviting environment, I felt comfortable immediately and that never happens. Give it a try you wont regret it. 1 word of caution. Pole can lead to yoga, burlesque and a general love of dance and fitness...not to worry all are awesome.

It's an awesome challenging workout, increase for strenght and flexibilty and the staff are amazing very friendly and always there to help and make sure everything is safe and secure! Great way to get out of your comfort zone and not doing a boring routine at the gym!

Positive experience: I first came here on a Groupon to try the aerial silks classes. Melissa was the instructor and she is really great! She's very patient, she gives clear instructions, and she makes it look easy. It was the toughest upper body work out I had ever had but I was hooked within a few minutes. This place is such a positive environment. I wish I could go more often but I find that the prices are out of my budget (I'm a student). Fortunately, they do seem to have promotions from time-to-time. I'm glad to hear that they're moving to a more accessible location which makes going back more appealing! I absolutely recommend this place.
