Fantastic experience: Visiting Gibsons from Ontario for a week and did a Google search for a gym here. Came in here and met Joe who efficiently signed me up for my stay. Joe was very helpful. I just love this gym, everything is so neat and clean. The private shower rooms are excellent. This morning I went in and met Michelle the manager who is just the most pleasant and helpful lady. So this gym is so very excellent with high quality equipment and clearly great staff that are a credit to your business! I highly recommend this gym! Thanks! Schotts

Positive experience: Consider that it is necessary to ask clients to arrive at the gym properly cleaned or take a shower in the showers of the gym itself because in the afternoon it becomes unbearable to be able to train with the intense bad smell of some of the users.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best place to lift in Gibsons. It was my first time lifting at anytime fitness and had a pleasant experience with only taking a few minutes to sign in. Anytime fitness had all the varieties of equipment to choose from. Each equipment was clean and had no problems. The atmosphere was uplifting as I was encouraged to lift heavier and was not rushed doing my lift.

Fantastic experience: My brothers and I were in Gibsons visiting our Uncle. We found the Gibsons Anytime Fitness location through a quick Google search and came in for a drop-in workout. Our experience here was incredible! Friendly staff and a very clean facility. It had everything we needed for our workout. I would without a doubt come back!

Fantastic experience: Worth the drive from Sechelt, they have awesome equipment to get a good workout in and the gym is super clean with friendly staff. I also love how the location is convenient for easy access to the other stores in the mall!

Fantastic experience: I visited Gibsons and needed a good workout. I chose AF because I'm familiar with the brand and the facility is new. There is surprisingly a lot of machines in a relatively small space. Equipment is top end and weights were well stocked and organized. No doubt I will come back when I'm back in town. Other people in the gym were very friendly polite, I found all people in Gibsons this way :)

Fantastic experience: Brand new beautiful gym! You walk in and you just feel like working out! It’s bright, spacious, and I was greeted by the manager, Ashley, who was so welcoming and helpful! It is never packed during peak hours, has all the equipment you need, and always kept super clean! Everything you could ask for! Definitely the best gym in the area!

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time. Showed up on a Sunday to give this gym a try. Sign at the door says staff is in at 11 am. Waited until 11:30 am and no staff present. Tried calling a couple times, no one answers either.
Hi Andie, we are so sorry about what happened to you on Sunday. This is not at all the type of experience we want to give you or anyone else interested in the gym. We just changed our schedule to exclude Sundays this week and had new signs printed and ready to be posted on Saturday, but our Saturday office person was unable to come in due to illness. We shared a post about this on all of our social media, but if you don't follow us yet then you would not have seen it. Please email [email protected] - we would like to make this up to you with some special membership offers and some free swag, but we don't have your contact info.

Fantastic experience: Brand new gym with amazing staffs. 3 Bathrooms with 2 shower facilities, free lockers, tons of parking at the back of the mall. 5-6 squat racks and 2 cables, and lots of machines to target your muscles. Happy place for happy people.

Fantastic experience: Went to the Gibsons Anytime Fitness for the first time this week. Very clean and organized space with the right equipment. Its great to Anytime Fitness here on the Sunshine Coast, other options such as the Rec Center in Sechelt are not up to standards.

Fantastic experience: This Anytime Fitness is brand new. Needless to say, the interior design is absolutely gorgeous. Ashley there is amazing and super friendly, so are the members. With the new equipment and amazing staff, it has me going back and stay consistent. Having such a nice gym to call home is so motivating! 10/10 would recommend at least go once for a drop-in to give them a try!

Positive experience: Gym equipment is great, clean, top quality. My only complaint is the lack of dedicated change room space with separated showers. They have two bathroom/shower combo rooms and a bathroom, each can only accommodate one person at a time. I’ve had two times now in the morning at 0600 when it’s not even very busy, where I need to get to work, and both showers are taken and people are drying their hair and doing make up in there for 15+ mins, which also ties up 2/3 of the toilets and this morning the third toilet was out of order so I couldn’t even change. It’s not a well thought out layout. Showers and changing areas and mirrors/electrical outlets and toilets should all have been separated from each other so that one person cannot monopolize all of these things at once. It creates a bottle neck and I’m betting it will get worse as more members join.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. At AF, our design team meticulously plans our facilities based on square footage constraints. While we understand your frustration, an additional bathroom would have impacted our usable gym space. However, we appreciate your input and are continuously looking for ways to improve our member experience within our current layout. We’ve just installed clear signage in the bathrooms to remind members to be mindful of their time, especially during peak hours. If you have any further suggestions, please feel free to share them with us.
