Fantastic experience: Not the biggest anytime fitness but feels homey, well maintained equipment and more than 3 toilets and showers!
Fantastic experience: It is a high quality gym that is very clearly well maintained and cared for. The coaches are truly invested in your progress and your experience, they will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your workout, and nutrition, regiment. It is also situated in a very convenient location with parking always available.
Fantastic experience: Matheus is hands down the best trainer you can get! He truly cares about his clients and is determined to help them reach their goals. Even if he isn’t your trainer, he is always there if you have questions or just need motivation. I could go on about how amazing this gym is because of how welcoming the environment is. The Orillia location is amazing and you will always have a positive experience!
Fantastic experience: Equipment is in great shape. Facilites are always clean. Staff is friendly.
Fantastic experience: Matheus is a wonderful coach and a very active listener. Based on the information I provided, he formulated plans that included compound movements involving dumbbells so I could achieve progress sooner and not feel like I was wasting my time. Unfortunately, being on a very fixed income does not provide for me to take advantage of his services but he provided me with enough information that I can come up with plans of my own, using the app. He is a stellar coach and I would be remiss in not mentioning that.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness in Orillia for almost 10 years! There are so many reasons why I’ve continued to choose this facility for my workouts, but the most important is that Anytime staff and members have become like family to me. I’ve yet to come across another member who has made me feel uncomfortable. Every staff member I’ve met, has always taken a genuine interest in my goals, and made it their priority to help me reach them. If something comes up in life that causes my workouts to fall by the wayside, the staff check in to make sure I’m doing well. Through the pandemic, the staff allowed me to borrow equipment from the gym, so I could continue my workouts at home while the gym was closed. The staff create fun challenges each month. The facility is clean. Smells clean. The equipment is in good shape and well taken care of. I’ve never walked into my club and not been greeted with a smile. There are so many reasons to love Anytime Fitness Orillia!
Negative experience: Their Google listing says open 24hrs. Drove there to find they don’t even have staffed hours. Good luck with that, I’ll go elsewhere. Thanks for wasting my time. Update. Hi Anytime Fitness, I was at your location on Monday October 18th at 1pm. The doors were locked and the sign on the window said there are no staffed hours everything is by appointment. You may want to update yourself on how your business is being run. FYI, your members are not the people checking your google account for your hours. If you are not open 24 hours why in the world would you put that on your listing?

Staffed hours are displayed at the front door (and are listed on our website where you can also book an appointment). Our team is happy to help customers during the following hours: Monday to Thursday 11am to 7pm Friday 10am to 5pm We wish you the best in your health and wellness.
Fantastic experience: Excellent place to workout either in the morning before work or late afternoon after work or on anytime on your time off. Gyms like these are always understanding and let you wear whatever makes you comfortable in working out.

Fantastic experience: Had a membership in the past would highly recommend. Staff were very kind and the facility was always clear with plenty of hot water for the showers after.

Negative experience: I was wanting to sign up for the Orillia location and called in and left a voicemail. After 2 days with no call back I called back. I expressed to the girl on the phone I work 6 days a week so wanted to schedule a Sunday to meet with someone to sign up. She told me they don't have staff on Sundays and asked if I could make it during the week. I then again told her I live in Midland and work 6 days a week so a weekday is impossible only Sunday will work. She still said no staff member would meet me on a Sunday. After being closed for almost 2 years I would think they would want the business but no she told me to go to my local Anytime Fitness in town. Super disappointed
Hello Lex At Anytime Fitness we believe in our employee’s work and personal life balance. Our employees deserve time off to be with their family and relax. Therefore they are not expected to drop all their arrangements on their day off to go to work. The Midland Anytime Fitness location is closer to where you live, and would suit your busy schedule. Perhaps it would be more convenient for you to get a membership there. We wish you all the best with your future health and wellness.
Negative experience: me and my friend signed up for a year contract and they kept billing us after a month without contacting and noticing us if we would like to continue or not. We stopped going to the gym because we got busy. I joined the army and wasnt able to go at all and they said they could not cancel my membership because we had a year contract. But they kept billing us after a year. I wanted to cancel after that year and they told me they couldnt cancel right away, so they set up a cancellation in 3 months and a fee of $87 as for the final fee. This is just absurd and a crazy ammount of money, never going to any anytime fitness at all ever again
Hello John We have reviewed your membership profile. We can see that you spoke with a staff member on the phone as well as through email on August 5 of 2021 in regards to addressing your past due balance and cancelling your membership. At that time our team member informed you that you would need to clear up the past due balance and then we also discussed the cancellation process which was a 60 day notice plus $50 early cancellation fee as you were in your first year agreement. The team member also informed you that they would send you an email outlining all of these details so that you had documentation. We can see that the email was sent to you on the same day and that we needed you to respond to that email to begin the process. We never received any further communication from you until November 12 of 2021 and at that time the cancellation was again explained to you and another email was sent out to you with the details. You communicated back to that email and we were able to process your request. We are sorry that you feel as though we deserve a 1 star review when we have all documentation that we communicated clearly with you but we were unable to process your request from your lack of communication. We wish you all the best with your future health and wellness.
Fantastic experience: This is a smaller gym, staff do a great job keeping clean. Everyone is very friendly and non judgmental. Never felt uncomfortable, open 24hrs which is great, never too busy.

Negative experience: Alliston location.....No hot water for showers, crowded and the absolute worst music ever. It's like I want to bring a bottle of wine and a blanket to the gym n cry myself to sleep......I left this "gym" to go to goodlife across the street..... I have ran into about 15 members that have left this "gym" and we now workout at goodlife !!! Goodlife has way more equipment, much much cleaner, the music doesn't want to make you cry and there is ALWAYS hot water. This is the alliston location.
Hello Blair Taylor We are not sure why you reposted your review from Sept 20th, 2021, but we are not changing our response from that day… As you can see by our Facebook posts, the hot water tank is less than a year old. Do you need someone to show you how to use the shower? Also we are far from crowded because we are are only allowed 10 members at a time during this pandemic. My staff can accommodate music station requests. Just ask. Maybe you are drinking too much wine. Why the review now? You are not a member of this club, and last visited us on Aug 13th @ 4pm. At that time we had a reservation system in place that allowed even less people in. You really should lay of the wine though, because there is no GoodLife across the street from us. In fact there is no GoodLife in Orillia. Not only did you not get the right gym, you did not get the right city. Next time you see Elvis say “Hi” for us. And this is NOT Alliston! We wish you all the best with your future health and wellness.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym! So far I've only met one staff member and they were super nice. Looking forward to some training sessions. I really like that it's open 24 hours and it's really quiet. Perfect place for us antisocial people They have a great variety of equipment and most of it has instructions on it, I go there when there's no staff so that's important to me. Honestly no complaints so far.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Orillia is a very clean welcoming facility. From the member interaction to the very friendly staff I was very comfortable. The equipment is up to date with many machines. I have many years of experience in the fitness center industry and can say my search for the perfect stopped once I discovered Anytime Fitness. Their pricing is reasonable considering the international 24hour access and the value behind the brand. I highly recommend joining Anytime Fitness Orillia.

Hello Danny Brzakovski. Anytime Fitness is a members only club with a positive identification of everyone present in the club at all times. We provide 911 panic buttons that are always available for all our members to wear, plus 911 emergency buttons at clearly marked locations on the walls. Also, we have security cameras monitored 24 hours a day by a security team to insure all members are safe. Anytime Fitness has a very robust security system installed in over 4000 locations worldwide. But this would have been explained to you when you became a member. Thank you.
Positive experience: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Facility well maintained and is never overcrowded. I would however caution anyone about their business practices. If you pay for a membership term in full, and then decide that you'd like to cancel, you will not be refunded the difference. Instead they will cancel your membership and keep the remaining amount that you paid. Frustrating for those that have life changes and have to cancel. Also be aware that if you only want a membership for a set term (eg. One year), they will sign you up for that and mention that if you want to keep your membership going that you need to bring in your banking info for direct withdrawal. What they don't tell you is that your membership will be auto renewed, even if you ask for it not to be, and they'll run you in to debt and keep your membership active, without notice. It's very sad that money seems to mean more to them than their clientele.
Hello Garrett. We are sorry to hear that you need to cancel your membership. Paid in full memberships are non refundable and this is explained at sign up. We discount our paid in full memberships significantly for fulfilling a full year commitment with no option to cancel. We also offer a freeze policy even on paid in full memberships because we do recognize that sometimes things do come up in life preventing our members from using the facility. As for renewal on a term membership, we thoroughly go through this with every member at point of sale and every member does initial authorizing the renewal. We also do allow the removal of renewal on an agreement with proper documentation being signed in advance of the renewal. We did review your account with us and do see that a mistake was made by another Anytime Fitness location regarding a renewal on your old paid in full membership. We do apologize that a mistake was made but do hope that you were happy that we were able to correspond with the other Anytime location to have it rectified in a quick and timely manner. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I live in Cambridge was was recently visiting my mom up north and when I went to this gym I was blown away with how clean and nice this gym was compared to the anytime I frequently visit. I've always been to the one in wasaga too but this was was awesome. Everyone that was there too was super friendly and willing to help and answer questions

Negative experience: Although the facility is maintained well, they seem to be lacking in equipment that like myself many aspiring body builders require. Their business model caters to another audience so I would advise looking into other gyms. Another issue is the price. Anytime fitness requires you to buy memberships exceeding $60! A month! As I am also a student this is not affordable to me and I would much rather spend $10 a month at another facility with better equipment and a lot more space, for example worlds gym,.
