Negative experience: The staff here deserve 6 stars, always professional. Management on the hand should start managing the gym. Some machines have been “Out of order” for months and the men’s urinal has been also out of order for months. If you need a number for a plumber I can send you one of about 50 in Vernon. Also machines are starting to show signs of wear and tear. Probably should address that.

Fantastic experience: Cheap and clean..fun

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with one of the staff members, I don’t her name. She approached me with a rude attitude and said, “I have sent you out before too,” in a condescending tone. Her comment was unnecessary, unprofessional, and left me feeling embarrassed in front of others. As a paying member, I expect to be treated with respect. This behavior creates a hostile and unwelcoming environment, which is not acceptable. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure that members are treated with professionalism and dignity going forward.

Positive experience: You can't beat Planet Fitness for the price of the membership and what's included. But to be fair most people who uses facility do not understand gym etiquette and hog machines and weights for extended periods of time and don't understand the art of letting people set in. People are often found on their phones and are distracted for extended periods of time that go beyond what would be considered a normal rest between sets. For this that is completely frustrating. So much so that I am considering changing my gym membership to somewhere else.

Negative experience: Was not a good experience at gym. Neither the environment nor the staff.

Positive experience: Best bang for your buck gym in town. The attractive price attracts a lot of customers, so the gym can get very busy and difficult to enjoy a workout when you have to wait a lot for different machines. They do have a great selection of high quality equipment and the option for a nice 'spa' with tanning, red light therapy, massage, etc.

Negative experience: Planet fitness made a mistake and put our accounts on hold twice instead of cancelling them the second time and we were charge almost $500 inxludong our yearly membership fees that we shouldn't have been. They admitted it was their mistake but they never refunded us. They basically stole money from us and never made it right. The manager was so rude he just ignored me and dismissed me. I would not recommend this gym and of you do cancel make sure they did it correctly as I think they may do it on purpose to not cancel so you get charged without realizing.

Positive experience: Love the gym.. but I wish it was open longer Friday’s Saturday and Sunday. The one in kelowna is 24hrs.. when will this one turn 24/7? I’m going to anytime fitness instead because I need later hours with my schedule unfortunately because I like this gym better.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. The person who dealt with me was not helpful at all. Was told that you I will not be able to workout today. All I asked was the help to add the card information to sign up. However, the customer representative told me she won’t be able to help me with that and I have to pay extra fee for signing up. No apologies made. Will not recommend anyone to go. Going to ask my friends to cancel their membership.

Positive experience: Cater to beginners and make OG's feel judged with the lunk light and alarm. Thought this was a judgemental free gym?

Fantastic experience: Nice gym spaced out well hydro massage chairs are great

Fantastic experience: I recently just started going here, and I already love it. On my first day, one of the workers gave me a good overview of the gym, it's amenities and was very friendly. The gym is very clean and well kept. I absolutely LOVE the spa with the massage and tanning options, which makes it feel like it's a reward after a good workout :) Also, the prices! This gym is also very affordable.

Fantastic experience: The only problem is all Smith style machines and no free bars

Fantastic experience: It is a great place to workout. The mornings are usually less busier than evenings.

Negative experience: Weight area is constantly congested with a certain group leaving equipment all over the floor and never wiping down equipment. You have to thread the needle between them all obsessively staring at themselves posing in front of the mirrors. Staff are powerless to do anything. I’m sure this review will be vetted and removed. I’d give them a 0 if it was an option. Place is ruined.

Negative experience: Gym is very nice but reception staff Julia was very rude and racist with all Indians.

Fantastic experience: I go here 3-4 times a week. Never had any problems. Everyone is extremely nice. Great and affordable place to work out ✌️

Positive experience: I came Vernon three days ago and I joined this gym. Pretty good except there are no free racks and heavy dumbbells at least 120lbs.. Pretty many cardio machine. I feel cold in this gym Need to warm up more time not to get injured or sick. One male manager is nice. Always greeted me with smile.☺️

Fantastic experience: The most comprehensive machine and free weight facility in town. Friendly staff and super clean change rooms. Planet Fitness is my pick in any city I happen to be in.

Fantastic experience: Cleanest gym I've ever attended. Most amazing staff by far - they truly make members feel valued - did not get that from other local gyms. Best value for the price and LOVE the massage options after a workout!

Negative experience: Signed up for just recently for tanning mainly and went at 5pm Monday, came back at 4pm Tuesday to go again but was denied because of the 24 hour policy. I understand keeping tans to once a day but that seemed a little unnecessary.

Fantastic experience: Plenty equipment to work out, friendly staff members offering excellent quality of service. Energy drinks, spa with massage chairs, and hydrochair.

Fantastic experience: I like the equipment available and treadmills for excersiceing. The membership fee works for me and they have every machine you can think of, awesome.

Negative experience: Too purple, too corporate, too cute... Just not for me

Fantastic experience: Great gym, has everything you need and more. Prices for what you get from your membership far exceed the price point. Go 5 days a week and always a good environment and pleasant staff.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym... Great atmosphere... Lots of equipment,,, no power racks for free weight barbell exercises though... This is intentional to keep the energy less intimidating for the general public

Fantastic experience: I'm torn. I don't want to tell everyone how fantastic this place is because then it will get even busier. But...this place is awesome! We're still learning the machines because there are so many. You won't get bored, and the spa is well... like we won the lottery. But the biggest bonus is the price. We spend over 2 hours here almost every day and look forward to coming back day after day. If you haven't checked Planet Fitness out, you really, really should.

Negative experience: Its the best gym. I don’t have any doubt in that. But one of the staff was rude to me. Whatever you say, you always have the option to say it in a polite way. I don’t know her name, or else I would have mentioned it here. May be u could have better staff there who knows how to behave to customers. Because I think your gym works only because of us.

Positive experience: everything is great gym is really busy they are exceeded already thousands of members. Really motivating. The problem is just timing it should be 24 hours open. they should provide a fob key or anything else like other gym gives to enter inside or hire more staff for graveyards. planet fitness at other locations in lower mainland they open 24 hours. the amount of people signing up everyday ..it should be 24 hours. it would be helpful. hope soon get this good news.⭐️

Fantastic experience: As much as I want to give this gym a poor review so more people don’t come here I can’t. Best gym in town! The staff are amazing, equipment is new and awesome, change rooms and gym itself are kept nice and clean. Huge shout out to Jesse and not just because of the name, he is super friendly and inviting.

Negative experience: Staff needs to be trained better. I told the young man at the desk I was new at all this and asked him about the tanning bed…asked if I needed sunscreen ……he said no I’ll be fine…..gave me 9 minutes in the tanning bed…..now I am so burned and in so much pain I can barely move and was barely able to finish my shift at work last night. They should simply have better knowledge of the tanning beds so they don’t cause their customers pain. Otherwise the place was super nice and clean and staff very friendly.

Positive experience: The hours for Sat, and Sunday are horrible. Need to stay open longer. At least Sat & Sunday needs to be till 9. Please change it!

Fantastic experience: Ain't she a beaut.. Sure the gym is missing some stuff. ( heavier weights ) but its clean, well designed, the equipment is all new, and the atmosphere seems to be inviting...The ceiling isn't leaking like other gyms. Tough to complain with all the perks for a very cheap monthly fee. Try it out, and you decide.

Fantastic experience: There is plenty of cardio equipment, the gym is bright and the facilities are clean. There is a lot of equipment whether it be machines or free weights. It's a comfortable place to work out, especially for those just starting their fitness journey.

Fantastic experience: I was a member in Edmonton for a couple years. It was a perfect no frills gym. Had all the free weights and equipment needed and bonus tanning beds for a low monthly fee. Looking forward to it opening. It would be great to see some info on a potential opening date?

Fantastic experience: I have been waiting for 5 years for this gym to come to Vernon. I went to one in Kamloops and the experience was excellent. Magically they will be opening 2 buildings away from where I spend 3/4 of my life! I don’t know who these other comments are about. This gym hasn’t even opened their doors yet. They just built, are stocking their equipment and are hiring staff from what I see. I am extremely excited! Welcome to Vernon Planet Fitness, I can’t wait to meet you all!

Negative experience: Terrible. It’s been 3 days they are closed without telling us anything while other gyms are open. I used time and gas to come for no reason. The schedules are horrible, it closes at 7pm Saturday and Sunday, and 9pm on Friday, what’s the point of having a weekend if you close earlier on the days we are the most free ? Also, this gym is super casual, not so much weights, the max for the chest is 75 (not kg). You can’t the squat cage without the assistance. And last thing, the team members are not supposed to be fit ? If people need advices they don’t really know if they can ask to them as they look like casual people
