Fantastic experience: The gym has what I need and Darryl makes it the experience great. I highly recommend his 1 on 1 personal training sessions!
Negative experience: I have worked all over Western Canada and get gym memberships all the time. I came in for Christmas, decided to go to the gym and then emailed afterwards to cancel the pass. Never have I been charged a cancellation fee. On top of that never has someone tried to pursue it through a collection agency. Its a sad business that tries to fine someone for no longer using a service

We tried to call and email you several times to obtain your signature but we were never able to get a hold of you and we received no response to our inquiries. Also, you card declined. Negative experience: Absolutely agree with all those negative comments above. Winkler snap is not good place to go. Do not give them your Credit card info, as mentioned earlier, they keep charging you even you want to cancel your membership. Would not recommend Snap at all. Now it makes sense to me why there were less people compared to the Core fitness.

Negative experience: Very poor customer service, I went to their location 4 times during “staffed” hours and called a number of times and could not get ahold of anyone to purchase a membership

Positive experience: It's a gym. Along with your typical gym membership scams so they can milk you for as much money as possible. Do not provide this company with your credit card #, and do not set up reoccurring billing with this company.
Hi Michael, can you help us understand what scam you are referring to? Please give us a call at 204-325-0704. Almost all of our members find it more convenient to have their billing information on file with us so that they don't have to come into the gym every two weeks to pay for their gym membership manually and it ensures your continued door access if you forget to come in and pay. If you would like to sign up for another membership, we would be happy to help you understand the benefits of automatic billing versus manual billing and having to come to the front desk every two weeks as well as the health benefits of living a healthy and active lifestyle!
Fantastic experience: Always clean and in good condition, has plenty of machines and free weights for any workout. Punching bag and battle ropes are nice too, I also want to commend them for actually enforcing the restrictions when they were mandatory.

Fantastic experience: Been going for quite a few years now and always appreciate the cleanliness of the gym as well as the added things in the women's change room like a hair dryer, hairspray, hair ties, bobby pins, and q-tips. The owners really take great care of the space. Don't know the owners too well, but usually working out at 6am so that's why!

Negative experience: I feel robbed. enjoyed my time there however after cancelling my memebership they still billed me for a whole extra month I cant even use or afford..... wont be continuing with this gym in the future. a lot of sign up costs as well
Hi Nikki, our apologies for the misunderstanding. We have always required 30 days notice for cancellations which always carries you into the next billing period and hence, there is always one more payment after the date you come in to cancel. The sign up costs are required to give you an access card which enables your 24/7/365 access and to register your contact and billing information with our payment processor.Again, our apologies for the inconvenience and we hope you consider Snap Fitness for your future fitness needs!
Fantastic experience: Winkler Snap Fitness is fantastic!! The owner is extremely friendly and the facility is well kept. There is a wide variety of equipment that is always well maintained. They follow all Covid-19 regulations, making my family and I feel safe. 10/10 would recommend getting a membership here!!

Negative experience: Seriously consider buying a membership here. We have supported this gym for going on 5 years, always pre-paying 1 year in advance. Unfortunately, the new mandates will cause the owner to cancel our membership without refund (5 months remaining) regardless of what your contract says or doesn't say. It's one thing to cancel our membership- but to keep our money too? YIKES. He will tell you it is "your choice not to disclose your private health information" and scare you with "$5000 fines" as a reason to keep your hard earned, pre-paid membership money. Even though we are fully vaccinated, we choose to not participate in the act of denying services to certain groups of people based on vaccination status- Government mandate or not. We fully trust in the job of the vaccine, and maybe more vaccinated people should too. Appears like some reviewers believe name calling is a way for people to conform- poor behavior which is only encouraged by the owner. This is our story and it looks like there are several others. If this isn't enough to deter you from looking elsewhere- I would only recommend month-to-month (better to lose $30 than $300+), or better yet- invest your money in a home gym. Who knows what new law will come in place to deny you entry and keep your money. Salut Snapfitness Winkler, Enjoy our $$$! We'll recover.
We are truly sorry about your experience. Unfortunately, we are left with no choice but to enforce our current health mandate in support of eliminating the spread of Covid-19. To that end, we require all members to show their proof of vaccination and we cannot make any exceptions to help protect the health and safety of our current members.
Fantastic experience: Great gym. Scott is a wonderful person. Very happy he is trying to keep everybody safe. If everyone would stop being so selfish and consider their fellow human beings safety first, this would be a much better world.

Negative experience: I’ve been a happy member for a couple years. The business owner decided to cancel my membership on me because I didn’t show my medical information, which is protected by law. He wants to bill me for an extra month without me being able to use the services. It’s time for these companies to fight back against this tyranny. This is pure discrimination.
Hi Michelle, we are sorry for your experience. Your membership doesn’t have to be cancelled. You also have the option of freezing your membership up to three months in the current calendar year. Since it only takes one month to be fully vaccinated, you can pause your membership up to three months and not incur any additional charges and thereby helping us to create and maintain a safe, healthy and Covid-19 free environment. We ask for your vaccination QR code to comply with the laws of our country and avoid a fine from our public health officer. Should you be vaccinated sooner, please let us know and we can un-freeze your account so you can get back to working out! The extra month of billing is actually our 30 day cancellation policy which will take you into the next billing cycle. If you have any further questions, please feel free to give us a call at 204-325-0704 and we will do our best to ensure your experience as a member is the best we can make it!
Negative experience: Absolutely harrassment non stop emails and phone calls. Hey chunky my personal health information is none of your business and is protected by law. Your Vpass is illegal. Continue the harassment and I will have the police at your doorstep. Got it? You will own nothing and be happy. Lost your other locations..this will be gone Soon.

Negative experience: Mens bathroom was always filthy, equipment was always broken, windows and stuff were dusty. Not a lot of cleaning went on. They just clean where people will notice. Obviously didn't like to spend money on repairs. Didn't respond to suggestions or complaints at all. I went for a little over a year, wouldn't really wanna pay to workout there.

All of our equipment has recently been fixed and we have stepped up our cleaning to try and provide the best possible experience for all our members. Fantastic experience: Wouldn't want to work out anywhere else. The owner is so friendly, goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome. He also is the only gym owner I've seen make daily workouts for anyone to use. 10/10 recommend.

Negative experience: The staff is super friendly. Just it's a under equipped. I'm missing a few this. A dip bar for instance.
Negative experience: Chin up Frames have sharp corners due to broken caps and required repair, they are sharp and can scratch your hands or fingers.

Negative experience: It's clean, and has everything needed to workout. Full of machines on top floor and free weights on bitten with great prices. One thing, they have the women's changing room is just better in EVERY way. From a shoe rack inside the changing room, a working sauna(the guys don't have that and the guys have a older version) and more mirrors. The showers have actual products that can be used unlike the other changing room. It almost feels like one is more welcomed than the other. This doesn't seem like much but when majority of the people there are a bunch of men (almost all the time) that pay the same amount as the girls, it just seems like a terrible place to be.
