Positive experience: No doubt pulse has trained staff but on the day of testing after almost second month, if they invite neutral examiner instead of local instructor to judge the kids performance then it can made their training more authenticated . They are charging extra fee for testing so funds couldn't be the reason.

Fantastic experience: My child has been a student of Pulse Martial Arts for the past 2+ years. She is a great kid. She's responsible, she listens and she is strong in body and mind. As parents we do our best and part of that is putting our kids in programs that bring out their best. I believe Pulse has an important part to play in shaping a child who has discipline, good character and fun at the same time. All of the instructors at the Scarborough location are top notch. They are also good, kind people. Also, shout out to Master Alex who is absolutely exceptional with children.

Fantastic experience: I am glad I tried and enrolled my 6.5 yo daughter for Taekwondo at the Sunny Tang Martial Arts / Pulse Academy, Markham location. Sifu Robert and Coach Ali are knowledgeable. My daughter has ADHD and Sifu Robert is excellent in keeping her engaged and maintaining her focus. My daughter loves attending the class.

Fantastic experience: Enrolling my son at this particular martial art academy was definitely my best pick. The articulation and dedication not forgetting the patience these masters at pulse demonstrate towards the kids are truly amazing. Master Alex is probably the only person in the world my son obeys as for Sifu Alan Tang my little guy is obsessed with him. He googles him and wants to watch all his movies. He looks forward to his Sunday class with Sifu Alan. If you guys are searching for the best for your kids, look no further pulse is the ultimate academy no regrets.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been attending this place for quite a while. Master Alex has been inculcating discipline through activities for kids along with Taekwondo. I notice significant changes and discipline in my daughter post attending this place. I am in favour of anyone who looks for a good place for Taekwondo in this area. All staffs are well behaved and care for the members. They were far too organized throughout their testing sessions, and we had an amazing time.

Fantastic experience: My sons enjoys martial arts very much. One of my sons read a manga called Itto and there was fighting in it. He said some of the moves were cool and he said “ I want to be like that and have cool moves so I want to do martial arts”.

Fantastic experience: My kid has been attending the martial arts program at Pulse Academy for more than a year now. He started with the Pulse Intro program and now he has graduated to Intermediate. He also attends the pulse combat program. The classes are superb and well coached by Master Alex. It is highly recommended as it inculcates discipline, self regulation and fitness in the kids. My kid loves to attend the classes and doesn’t want to miss a single session.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old has been there for a few months. We weren’t sure it would stick or that he would be genuinely interested but Master Alex has been absolutely wonderful and does a phenomenal job in engaging the kids! It has boosted my little guys’ confidence and it is also a wonderful place to make new little friends with similar interests! The training is impressive for their age and definitely challenges my son! We have zero regrets and would definitely recommend to others parents considering martial arts! We will be sticking around for the long haul!

Multiple different classes are offerred such belt class, combat and performance and my children enjoy them all. Fantastic experience: Teachers are friendly, patient and kind. Kids love their fun training methods.

Negative experience: They had a promotion going on and we were offered free class through it and when we arrived we were told it was closed. Master Emerson Wong was full of himself and was irritated when we were supposed to be upset because we had to take time from work to be there. I am glad we didn't enrol our son there. We found a much better academy where they took the time to show us a presentation and was courteous with us. Over here one person was on the phone the whole time and the other person was super arrogant. No wonder this place has such less rating and so less students. I got a very negative vibe overall.

Fantastic experience: Pulse MA school has been a welcome change to our daughter's life. Not only does she look forward to the classes but also she likes to discuss her movers after the class as well. Master Alex is a great instructor who is gentle with kids.

They have a comfy lounge for parents and the ambience of the facility is very welcoming. The Program at this school is top. They have a program for after school children, evening & adults. My favorite thing about their program is it’s versatility. They teach traditional martial arts with gymnastics & weapons. They also offer open gym time which I really look forward to the most!!! Master Diaz is amazing instructor. A first class school to consider definitely!!

Fantastic experience: I've had a lot of fun at this place! I really enjoy coming and learning from all the Masters here. They are really knowledgeable! I've done Tae Kwon Do for a really long time, but I love the program they have developed here. I can see the instructors/masters are very passionate about what they are doing. They encourage all the students and regularly challenge them to things that are just above their level. Master Hsiao and Master Diaz know I've done Tae Kwon Do for awhile but it was only competitive Taekwondo. They are currently teaching me weapons forms! It's very new but they are patient with me, even though sometimes I can be clumsy with the weapons. I am really looking forward to going back!

The Masters & Instructors are highly skilled and carries with them years of experience and success in the field of martial arts. They are very professional, patient and encouraging. The kids have only attended a few sessions and they already demonstrate a commendable understanding of taekwondo. The facility is also very clean and has a good area where the parents can wait and watch their kids. We had been looking for a solid martial arts school these past few months and we're glad to stumble upon Pulse!

Master Miggy and Master Jeff are the nicest people I have ever met and they specialize in the taekwondo field. Their training methods are fun and efficient. I lost 10 pounds within 2 months. You gotta check it out for yourself. Definitely rate 6 stars if possible!
