Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to AF Waterdown since September and I love it so far! I love the fact that I can access the gym at anytime of the day (or night!). I usually workout early in the morning, so I don’t see the coaches often but every time I’ve sent an email about something, they’ve been so prompt in responding within a few hours by email or call.The membership is very affordable and gym is clean with access to all equipments I require. Definitely recommend for anyone who’s looking to get started on their fitness journey!

Fantastic experience: Signed up in summer 2024 as my old gym was a bit of a drive and crowded. Anytime Fitness Waterdown however is conveniently located, always clean and has everything I need to stay in shape to deal with two kids at home and a demanding job as a firefighter. Staff is great, both knowledgeable and friendly and I find myself regularly chatting with them in between sets. Easily the best gym I’ve been apart of.

Positive experience: They charge for the fob, which you need to pay out of pocket, which is not fair, I believe. Also, not a very big place.

Fantastic experience: For the size, incredible gym with just about any piece of equipment you could want. Seriously impressed. I typically go to Goodlife but this gym is right next to my house and it’s not lacking on any front. Usually pretty quiet too

Fantastic experience: Beautiful clean gym, many windows so natural light ( huge for me during the winter months) new equipment, friendly staff and great location to get to (even for me from Burlington) Private bathrooms and showers are a bonus too! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this gym and its incredible trainer, Ashar, enough! The 24x7 access is a game-changer, allowing me to work out whenever it fits into my schedule. The gym is well-equipped with plenty of machines, and it's never too crowded, so there's no waiting around to get on a piece of equipment. What truly sets this gym apart is Ashar. With his expert guidance, I was able to achieve my fitness goals and, remarkably, control my diabetes to the point where I'm now off medication. The support and personalized attention I've received here have been life-changing. This gym and Ashar are top-notch in every way!

Fantastic experience: This gym has exceeded my expectations beyond measure. I went in reluctantly expecting not much since I have never been to anytime fitness and had just signed up at a gym elsewhere a month prior. Walked in and was immediately impressed. The manager Sean and assistant manager Ashar are truly amazing and passionate about their careers and go above and beyond to help out clients. Very family oriented facility with the best convenience and it’s 24 hour access. Way to go anytime you now have won my family and I over big time!!!

Fantastic experience: One of the better anytime fitness location. It’s all new inside, very clean and organized. The washrooms are stellar. Has a lot of equipment and weights and has some very interesting machines. The glute bridge machine is one of my favourites and it’s unfortunately rare to find in most gyms. I come here on leg days just for that.

Fantastic experience: I was a member of Amazing fitness pre Covid and I left because it felt too old. But this is clearly a whole new concept! Definitely not the Amazing fitness I remember. A refreshing change from all those open concept nightclub style gyms. The cozy room to room design with all the mirrors lets you focus on your workout. the strategically placed lighting lets you see your muscle pump as you train and the large windows make for a beautiful atmosphere especially during sunset. There is no shortage of weight and equipment. There is a real attention to detail that you will begin to notice more you train. I’ve been working out for over 20 years and been a member at around 10 different gyms. This gym is the only one in waterdown that captures that old school feel. The fact that every piece of equipment is brand new is icing on the cake.

Fantastic experience: The new Anytime Fitness in Waterdown is fantastic! They have great equipment and staff, and it's open 24/7 and super clean. They offer personal training as well. Ashar is an outstanding personal trainer who excels at crafting tailored workout plans to meet specific fitness goals. He's professional, inspiring, and knows how to push clients to achieve more. With his extensive knowledge, he guides clients on proper form and variations, ensuring they get it right. Additionally, he provides workout plans for days without personal training. I highly recommend Ashar as a personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: Personal training with Ashar has been super fun, challenging and makes me want to come back for more. You can tell he is a pro and knows his job well, he focuses on form and technique over reps (which is amazing) and pushes me to go above and beyond just the right amount. The workout routines he plans also keep me engaged and Make me want to come back for more. 100% recommend.

Positive experience: This is a new location recently opened in Waterdown. My partner and I have been members since they opened. The good: New location means new facility, new equipment. Club has a nice variety of updated equipment laid out sensibly. Club seems fairly well maintained and clean. Plenty of water fountains, washrooms and places for your stuff if needed. Staff seem friendly enough. The bad: Not really the club's fault but parking isn't great. And what little street parking is available is taken up by construction workers during the day. There is also lots of construction debris around the outside which will hopefully be cleaned up soon. Could use improvement: Gym could use an inside shoes policy and a rule for actually wearing shoes as some members seem to think it's appropriate not to wear any at all (gross). Also, in the post COVID era it's surprising to see so many members not wiping equipment down. Frankly it's rude and the club should put up some signs to remind people. Washrooms are nice and would be helpful if there were a couple extra hooks to hang your stuff. Hopefully the club will add some personalization in the future as well. It's very generic inside with nothing to indicate they're part of the Waterdown/Hamilton/Burlington communities. Perhaps a bulletin board or club records board or something? We've belonged to several AF clubs over the years and enjoy being part of this one so far. Would recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: i absolutely love this gym! the set up is small but mighty ! with nearly every machine u want and new machines you've been dying to try! the staff has a great attitude and are always down to lend a hand ! i had to unfortunately cancel my membership, and sean, the manager, came and helped me as soon as he could! making the process chill and comfortable! i feel good in knowing that there's a gym in waterdown with such a feel good environment! couldn't recommend a gym more and encourage anyone looking to sign up in the area TO SIGN UP! you'll love it here
