Fantastic experience: We recently celebrated my child’s birthday at Tiger’s Eye Karate, and it was an unforgettable experience! The children had an absolute blast from start to finish, thanks to the incredible energy and enthusiasm of Sensei Hamid and Hana They were so much fun, keeping the kids engaged with karate moves, trampoline games, and a lively dance session. The kids loved every minute! The bounce castle was another big hit, and my son was thrilled to cut his birthday cake with a real samurai sword – a memory we’ll treasure forever. Sensei Hamid’s ability to create such a fun and exciting atmosphere made the party truly special, and all the kids had the time of their lives. If you’re looking for a unique and entertaining party experience, I can’t recommend Tiger’s Eye Karate enough. Thank you to Sensei Hamid and Hana for making it such a memorable day!

Fantastic experience: This is a very friendly amd respectful place . The new place is really very and super spacious, they can run many classes on the same time and just perfect until your child is taking the class you can exercise in the gym to make sure you keep yourself in shape.

Fantastic experience: We had a really great experience here for our son's 5th birthday party. It was the perfect place for the kids to run around and play. It's a family run business, and everyone was so great with the kids. They got to run around, learn some Karate with Hamid who was so fun and animated he really got the kids involved, race through a bouncy castle and celebrate with pizza and cake. Highly recommend for your next kids birthday! Thanks again to all the staff there.

Sensei Hamid and sensei Hana are so wonderful with all the kids. My kids actually enjoy Karate now and they look forward to their class. We’re so happy we made the switch.

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old son attends classes there. He loves it so much he wanted his birthday there. It was phenomenal. All the kids had a great time. I was very impressed. Fantastic experience: I moved to vancouver from calgary for university. I had trained with the same dojo for 11 years in calgary and was worried about being able to find the same level of quality and welcomeness from my previous dojo. Sensei hamid provided me with the most welcoming environment I could imagine and pushed me even further in my karate career. I have been training here for three years now and could not imagine being anywhere else in Vancouver.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to bring your young kids to burn off some energy. My son has been doing karate class since 2 years ago any he is doing great. Last week we had a birthday party at Tiger’s Eye, it was a wonderful experience and kids loved it they have talked about the party for couple days. The most amazing part was when they brought a samurai sword to cut the cake. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: It's been four years my son is going to this karate class and I'm super happy with them. Sensei Hamid and sensei Hana bout are very professional in teaching karate in advance and also they knows how to treat kids which is very important for younger kids.

Negative experience: Would not recommend. Put my child in their one week camp and within a few days she had a very bad urinary tract infection. After speaking with the owner he deflected responsibility completely and took no responsiblity for it or even offered an apology. My child has been in public preschools and other camps for nearly three years and has had zero issues. One or two days in this camp and this is the result. How truly sad to see a child go through this.

Fantastic experience: We had my son’s 6th birthday at Tigers Eye Karate- Do and it was AMAZING! Sensei Hamid kept the kids engaged and having fun for 2 full hours with a karate lesson, bouncy castle, dancing and lots of laughs. Sensei Hana was amazing with booking the party and taking care of all the party details (decor, food, delicious cake, clean up, etc) and made my life so easy. The cherry on top was that my son got to cut the cake with a samurai sword!! I HIGHLY recommend this business for a children’s birthday party. It’s a great space and very clean. Huge thank you to Tigers Eye for making my son’s birthday so special.

Fantastic experience: Karate Birthday Party for our 5yr old- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Sensei Hamid and his wife put on a great party, parents can relax, kids have a ton of fun but at the same time Sensei Hamid commands attention and respect. I have never seen a group of 3-8yr olds listen and behave so well while having so much fun. Great space as well. Would do it again for sure.

Fantastic experience: I'm going to be brutally honest, the instructor (sensei Hamid) is a very experienced individual and has a great sense of humor. Everytime I go to his class he pushes my body to its maximum which makes me hate myself for being so weak, but when the class finishes I get a sense of achievement that nothing else can compete with.

Fantastic experience: Our three kids all go to Tiger's Eye, both in their Yaletown and North Van locations, and I highly recommend this Dojo. Sensei Hamid has a unique style of coaching - a good mix of discipline combined with fun activities for the kids. What's really nice about this place is that Sensei Hamid and Sensei Hana have created an environment where the kids have a sense of belonging. Sensei Hamid goes above and beyond before competitions with extra training sessions to ensure that the kids who want to compete are as ready as they can be. Fantastic experience: Sensei Hana and Sensei Hamid have been a wonderful part of my daughter’s life. They have introduced her to the the world of karate with respect and professionalism. They are personable and have become a positive influence on my child. In addition to instructing the children in karate, the children are instructed on how to teach and lead their peers. My daughter has thrived with being able to assist the younger kids and now always wants to go to karate for extra classes so she can assist. I can’t say enough about the positive influence Sensei Hana and Sensei Hamid have had on our family. We have been attending Tiger’s Eye for three years. I highly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: Our girls enjoy their lessons here. Sensai Hamid and Sensai Hana are great instructors who know how to motivate the kids and keep them active. We are very happy that our kids get great exercise, learn self defence and discipline.

They have also made tigers eye a respected academy at Provincials and National competitions while at the same time having students that want to be there for learning purposes.

Fantastic experience: My 4 years old son has started with Tiger’s eye karate since 2015. I am happy that I have made the right decision. In the first place, I can see the result of discipline and self-esteem in my son. Moreover, he is very happy with each session. It is full of fun and physical activities that are age-appropriate. These exercises would encourage your child to participate more on same ages activities in their school and so on.

It's not just a karate class you get dragged to by your parents; it's a karate class where you look forward to going to see your friends, to cheer them on when they just can't do one more kick, or when they can't do the last push up. In my experience I feel that I grow in so many different aspects every single year; I couldn't ask for a better second family.

The instructors are very talented and have a lot of knowledge and they care about everyone. I strongly believe training at this dojo is a key aspect of having a successful life.

Fantastic experience: I would give 100 Star if I could have that option.This is a great karate school with a great instructor. The chief instructor, Hamid, is a former National Champion and member of the National Team. He is a very skilled martial artist, and has passed that down to his students. His students who do attend tournaments are successful on the provincial and national level, and based on skill this dojo is one of the top ones in BC. More than the technical expertise, the care that the instructor has for his students is the most important thing. I think if you are considering putting your child in martial arts you should give this dojo a chance and book a trial class so you can see for yourself.

Fantastic experience: I recommend this place for any family with children who like to do physical activities. The staff are so incredible and teach their students about the best techniques in martial arts. I’m so happy that my children spend their evenings going to this dojo because not only is it a great exercise, but it also boosts their moods.

Fantastic experience: I am really proud of this place. My son and daughter have been very happy with the things they learn and their sensei. I don't see anything bad about this place. If you see someone who says bad stuff about this place, they are deeply mistaken. I highly recommend this place. It not only teacher martial arts and self defence but also manners, respect and discipline!

Negative experience: The worst place ever in which you’ll waste your time and money by signing a one way contact in which you’ll have to just pay them without receiving any services! By mistreatment on my son and misbehaving us as a parent, negligence on their teaching I strongly won’t recommend this place to anyone. Having a bad experience since I signed my son over there by mistreatment, misbehaving on us when we complain on their negligence, caused that to write this review. By a quick search on google you’ll find better opportunities in West Vancouver area close to Taylor way which I wish, I searched that before. By the time, I strongly don’t recommend this place for anyone and would choose the most negative stars if it was existed on google rating.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending Tiger's Eye Karate-Do for approximately 4 years, I can assure you that deciding to join this karate academy changed my life drastically in a positive way. I have been taught so much by Sensi Hamid and Sensi Hana, I can not begin to express how grateful I am for their mentor-ship and will forever appreciate the love and support the put towards every student. They put everything they can to help us accomplish our aspirations and will forever hold a very dear part of our lives. They have given us the opportunity of having a familial love throughout the dojo. Every exercise they provide is well planned out and personalized to fit the needs of every individual student. Although karate is an individual sport the environment sensi Hana and Hamid have created makes us feel like we are a part of a team. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic experience: Attending Tiger's Eye was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The instructors are so kind and so passionate about teaching their students. Self defence and martial arts are such a good workout. It wouldn't hurt to try it out.

Fantastic experience: I have my son registered at this place. at first was not sure if this would be a good Idea because of distance and my son did not want to go. now he has been there for about 9 months and he loves the place and his instructor. Fantastic experience: Sensei Hamid and Hana are great with kids - incorporating fun into their karate instruction (kihon, kata and kumite) and keeping them challenged and engaged. They also encourage competition and support students to compete in local, provincial and national competitions. For adults, all-levels classes combine physical conditioning and karate fundamentals to challenge your belt level training. Excellent Dojo!!

Fantastic experience: This is a great class with really good instructors. Hamid is incredibly professional and helpful, and he try to help every single one of their students. The class encourage students's development both physically and mentally.I would recommend this school to anyone looking to give their child more confident and and learn some great skills.

Fantastic experience: karate... If you asked me what i thought about karate last year I would've probably said Bruce Lee, fighting, and definitely not for me. As I watched my younger brother go to karate at tigers eye, i realized karate is more than those three things. Its about respect, determination, and most importantly yourself. The first time i tried out karate was when sensi pulled me in for a one on one try-out later i joined but i gave i up, however i felt like i was missing something everyday after i quit.. I then re-joined and realized what i was missing was that confidence i had achieved. See successe happens when everyone gets along when everyone moves in one motion, when everyone is in harmony. Tiger's Eye has this success, because we work as one, as sensi as our leader. We are all a family here, NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND. I would definitely recommend Tiger's Eye to anyone, it may be challenging but you quickly adapt with sensi Hamid being so caring and generous I don't see any reasons why not to join. Fantastic experience: I have been attending tiger's eye karate-do for three months now. Each class is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and the instructor/instructors are so caring and kind. The classes are a full body workout. I have really enjoyed going to tiger's eye karate-do so far, it has helped me boost my confidence. Also, you will get fit and/or stay fit. I would recommend tiger's eye karate-do to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Tiger's Eye Karate-Do for around three months now. The instructor Hamid and helper people are very serious and they know what they are doing. I find the classes very strict , but fun in the same way. You would probably make lots of friends since everyone is friendly.
