Anytime Fitness Yellowknife

Fantastic experience: Great gym. It is pretty small and gets pretty busy but usually not much wait time to get to a machine you need.

Negative experience: I highly discourage anyone from giving this place any business. I enrolled my wife and I in two month per month memberships and had to pay a deposit for two key fobs totaling 90 dollars. I was promised when I returned them this would be refunded. When I did return them no one in Manegment was available to talk with me. I’ve left numerous mesages and was told the owner would get back to me which hasn’t happened yet going on three weeks. Not dealing with this without any explanation or discussion is basically them stealing from me. Be aware before you deal with this place.

Positive experience: Fairy well kept, pricing is higher than other Anytime's I've been to in the country but it's expected due to location. It can get fairly busy in the evenings as well compared to other locations and it's also quite small so it can feel packed quickly. No comment on the classes offered.

Positive experience: Great gym. But only Anytime Fitness I've been to worldwide that allows muscle heads to constantly drop weights. It's really annoying and hard on your equipment.

Fantastic experience: This gym is fantastic spent the week in Yellowknife and this met all my needs equipment and space wise. These locals are next level making their way to the gym in this arctic weather lol. One beginner weightlifter asked for a spot and several guys where giving props after telling his max great atmosphere!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym for wherever you are at on your fitness journey! Facility has wide variety of equipment, classes, and floor space to do your own thing. The staff are consistently friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. Best part is, it’s open 24/7 so you can literally work out anytime.

Fantastic experience: Great clean gym, some friendly staff especially Alex always smiling and greeting everyone ☺️ gets a bit crowded during core hours but right after rush hour things settle. Clean washrooms have yet to join their walk-in classes! Parking generally always available.

Positive experience: This franchise is run by engaged owners, who listen to their customers. They have been responsive to public health measures and they bring in new equipment regularly. The staff are friendly but not overbearing, and they have an excellent variety of equipment. My only complaints are related to the actions of other customers, and that the location is a little small for my preference, there could be more space.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, lots of equipment, abundant space and a studio. Bathrooms are immaculate, stocked with towels and lockers for belongings. Reccomend this place 100% but $$$

Fantastic experience: Okay wow ....Really nice gym!! This gym has impressed me and I’ve been to a lot of gyms all over and this one is just really, REALLY good! So the gym is ANYTiME meaning so you can workout *ahem *anytime you want ..which is SOOOO convenient and amazing! The staff are all super nice , outgoing and all seem really down to earth and easy to approach to talk .Seriously they are always there and are on the ball which makes for a super nice stress-free gym experience! I seriously love the cardio equipment here.. First of all: it’s all very state of the art and they have large individual TV type screens attached to each one with trail video options/ Netflix / Spotify anything you would need for a solid cardio session.. Get the tunes on and look at a pretty beach or majestic forest and it’s really enjoyable! The weight room side is very well stocked , it has everything Someone would need to workout and build muscle I think there are three or four squat racks and pulley style machines , and there are dumbbells ranging small ones up to really heavy ones (There are also a ton of weight machines by the cardio equipment as well ) There is a grassy green floor in the middle of the gym for body weight stuff or HIT workouts and it really comes in handy for a lot of different stuff . In this area you will also find a full charging station with multiple plugs for your Personal device , wireless headphones or whatever you need to charge so no worries if you forget to charge your phone before you hit the gym .. There is a really nice yoga room too with mats that you can use and it has windows all around so Esspecially when it’s sunny outside it is a particularly nice place to go in and do your practice ! Bathrooms/ change rooms are all individual occupancy and are exceptionally nice and clean ( the whole gym is insanely clean too) there are cleaning disposable wipes set up all over the gym, so you can cleanse your equipment before and after you use it ! There are water bottle refill stations in two spots in the gym which are very effective and convenient , also there are these cute little complimentary towels you can use! Love this GYM!!

Runel is a personal trainer who truly cares about his clients. Runel custom tailors each workout to suit your personal fitness goals and needs. He never judges you for your failures and always takes time to celebrate your successes. He is well versed in anatomy and body mechanics, he is a great motivator and is an all around cool guy to hang out with at the gym. I used to be nervous about starting my fitness journey, but thanks to Runel's expertise and uplifting personality, I am confident to workout at Anytime Fitness Yellowknife and I even look forward to my training sessions. Go to this gym!
