Negative experience: I received a coupon for a free week but was charged $25.00 to activate the 24/7 fob. I could have only gone during staffed hours, but they weren’t convenient. It had everything I needed to workout but I am used to having amenities. You can get in shape here, snap fitness just isn’t a fit for me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to both of the St Vital locations and although this one is a bit smaller, it’s got all the equipment you need for a great workout. The community and staff are awesome. Highly recommend both of the St Vital clubs. The owner is knowledgeable and she cares about more than just taking your money like other gyms in the area. Kiddos to this gym for being top notch

Fantastic experience: Super friendly and helpful staff (thank you Char for getting my started on this journey), small gym which makes it quiet; something I quite like. Has most equipment that you'll be looking for and during off hours no one is in which is nice.

Fantastic experience: Small gym with a big welcoming feeling! Staff are very kind and helpful. I can get a great workout in and it's never too busy in the gym which means no waiting around for machines! The gym is clean and very well maintained!

Fantastic experience: Been visiting this location for a bit now. Love the staff and the patrons are great too. Would also recommend the personal trainers, as they are really good at what they do. It's very small, and not super busy. That's one thing I really enjoy, as I'm the type to exercise alone.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Snap since I moved to Winnipeg three years ago and I can’t complain! Staff is always so friendly, the gym is clean, and there’s a great gym community.

Fantastic experience: Just recently started going about a year ago, staff is always nice, friendly and willing to help when asked. Small and doesn't have all the fancy specific machines but definitely has all you need to get a good workout in.

Fantastic experience: I Love the Snap Fitness on St Anne’s Road in Winnipeg. It has great feeling of community. The Owner, Staff and gym members are personable and very encouraging. I have been a member for 2 years. I just started using the myzone app and it really pushes my workouts to a whole new level. I would highly recommend Snap Fitness.

Fantastic experience: My experience at this gym was 100% positive. Jayden, my trainer knows his stuff, he taught me about right posture, the importance of working different muscle groups, diet.... i would highly recommend. The gym is clean and the staff are nice and friendly.

The equipment is amazing and has everything you might need to meet your goals. If there is something you are missing the owner is great with meeting the needs of the members. I'd give it a 6 star rating if I could!

You can tell the place is well managed with friendly staff who take pride in their knowledge & the value they can add to the lives of health minded members regardless of age. Added bonus that it’s a 24/7 operation which suits my needs perfectly with my irregular work schedule.

Fantastic experience: This gym is small, but very well equipped with the right equipment and machines needed to get a successful workout in. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who is serious about getting to there personal fitness goals! The staff and owners are super involved and friendly as well, which makes this gym even better!

Negative experience: Their policies ripped me off big time. I was not comfortable working out considering the surge in covid cases and everything what has been happening. I got charged for the month of august because they told me that i needed to give 5 days notice for suspending. Then i went to the gym in the middle of august to suspend for another month as i was travelling and also i am still not comfortable working out as the covid cases are on the rise, i was told that i have already frozen my membership thrice this year so they wont be able to do another time plus when i asked about cancelling i was told that i have to give 30 days notice for that aswell. I decided to cancel even though i have been with this gym for somewhere around 6 years now. Now i was charged for august even though i am not working out and since i was unable to give 30 days notice, they will charge me for september aswell. I literally just threw away $93 for nothing. Never ever going for snap fitness again. Can't even amend their policies in life threatning situations like covid 19 for their members.

Positive experience: Small but very clean and the staffs are very friendly I would give you guys 5 stars if you lower the price a little.

Fantastic experience: Ok, SNAP FITNESS has new owners! Shannon and the gang have renovated, cleaned, fixed equipment, re structured, have some classes, and are there most of the time. The whole building is clean, friendly and helpful. I am back in action there, down ten pounds, and enjoying myself at workouts again. If you find any issues there, find a staff, who will fix it and discuss any issues with you. It’s not the “ old” place anymore, give it a try again, you will be pleasantly surprised!

Negative experience: Change rooms were gross. Machines seem worn and well used. No staff present even at normal business hours. Cancelled my membership. Moved to Planet Fitness. Cheaper. Cleaner. Better staff.

Positive experience: WOW. After a year I've reactivated my membership and must edit my review. This location is under completely new management and it shows! They have staffed hours now (11-7 most days) and the trainers and owner are very friendly and knowledgeable! It's a smaller location but they've got lots of equipment which is kept in good repair. Plenty of weights, mats, etc. on hand, many different machines and better ellipticals now and a stair climber. My only complaint is there are no lockers but the cubby holes are in plain sight and the place has a very safe vibe. It's in sort of a "strip mall" so there's not a ton of parking but you can always park along John Bruce if necessary and there's a bus stop right out front. Membership fee is a good deal compared to some of the other places out there and management is very engaged with customers through social media, contests etc. All told I am very glad I came back and I feel very welcome here! If you're looking for a place in the area to work out, check it out!

Fantastic experience: I lost my temporary scan card and thankfully Shannon was walking up to the gym & let me in & got me all taken care of! I definitely see potential for this gym with the new owners. It’s small but it has all that I need & it’s right across the street from where I work so how can I complain!

Negative experience: Terrible communication and customer service. I emailed them initially to book an appointment to view the gym however, they stopped responding to me after the first email. So I decided to call them instead. Finally got ahold of someone, made the appointment... AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I called, no one answered, so i left a message for the gym telling them I'm here waiting for my appointment etc. No one ever called me back to apologize for standing me up or to even acknowledge their mistake. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Would recommend any other snap fitness gym but the south st.vital locations.

Negative experience: "Staffed Hours" are not staffed, does not return calls or answer calls. It's impossible to get a hold of the management. I gave up after 10 times of wasting my time by going down there hoping a person would be there, I'll go to Anytime Fitness instead.

Negative experience: Extremely messy. The gym itself is fine. But clearly the staff hasnt cleaned at all. Especially the men's change room

Negative experience: Not staffed well at all, went in 6 times to renew membership (had only had the membership for a month) only once was somebody actually there, and the system was down, can't go to another location to renew without paying another activation fee.

Positive experience: This gym is nice and ideal for the average person. They have enough machines to cover most of the muscle groups. They're dumbells are also new. Only thing I would recommend is a Incline Barbell Rack. I think that would complete the gym.

Negative experience: Its alright tbh small location though which can be a plus to some people. No change rooms other then the bathroom. Owner is great and super nice. For the monthly price i am planning to go elsewhere
