Negative experience: Gym appears closed down ? The least yall can do is update your website
Negative experience: For anyone being billed after they closed, these owners also own the Ladner Snap Fitness. Don’t let them get away with ripping you off.
Fantastic experience: More on the expensive side but people come to work out and are serious. Most gym goers are helpful with anything you need. This is not a social club enviroment but a serious gym for people aerious about getting fit and staying fit.
Negative experience: Equipment is torn up. There were no towels or spray bottles to use. Limited equipment, and some equipment is positioned blocking access to the washrooms. No staff on site even though their door listed that it was to be staffed at the time.
Fantastic experience: Just the right size, towels, all the right equipment, clean, well lit, and friendly staff! Come in first thing in the morning, their team is there to greet you with a smile and motivational quote!Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: This gym is awesome. I left for a while but had to come back. The staff is friendly and overall a great place to come and workout!

Negative experience: Don’t go there! In case you are here to look for their price, well it’s more expensive than other gyms and it’s much smaller. The real issue is their customer service and public-relation handling. All they care about is their promotions instead of your workout experience. I had a friend who was leaving this country and I was told the shortest membership term would be 3 month WITHOUT choice. They ended up charging him twice as much by the time he entered the gym. I’m so regret referring my other friends to this place. Will Never Come Back Again. The one month plan they offered was more expensive than regular price of 3months combine. If your priorities is your policy and profit but not the customer experience, maybe you need to go back to school and learn how to do business.
Hi Bill, thank you for your feedback and we are sorry you feel that way. Our rates are very competitive for our area and we do very much care for the experience of our members. We had offered your friend a one-month membership, which he denied, and instead he accessed the gym with your card causing a security risk and a major infraction of our membership agreement. Although we provided you with several warnings, they were not headed. Our membership policy states that access cards can not be shared as this is a matter of safety and security. Due to this violation of policy, your membership had been cancelled. As always if you have any questions feel free to reach out to us directly.

Fantastic experience: I've been doing personal training sessions for a couple months now. Staff are great and workout area is clean. My trainer Rachel has been a big help in getting me towards my fitness goals. She's been extremely patient and it shows that her and the other employees care about their work. Definitely recommend coming here!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic local gym with covid protocol that makes me feel safe. Small staff team but all of them are super friendly! Especially enjoyed my personal sessions with their personal trainer Rachel. She gives her clients undivided attention and tailored my training plans to be effective AND fun! Really appreciate how she prioritizes form and ensures her clients are working out safely. 12/10 would recommend having 1-on-1 sessions with her. Even if you're a seasoned athlete, you'll learn something new from her.
Fantastic experience: Love that it is 24 hrs! Amazing sessions with personal trainer Rachel - super encouraging, helpful and knowledgeable, went above and beyond to push me physically so I could achieve my goals! Would highly recommend her!

Negative experience: I won't do business with a gym where...you ask the price, and the next thing they say is not the price.
Hi Pat. Due to our Covid Policies, for the safety of our staff and members, all guests in the club are required to list their name and number for contact tracing. As for our pricing, as discussed, we do have a range of options which was mentioned, however without knowing what type of membership you require we can't be specific as to rate until we discuss which option works best with you. If you would like to know more, we can always discuss these options further with you.
Fantastic experience: Great staff, very clean inside. Equipment is new. Try to pick non prime times to avoid a it being busy.

Fantastic experience: Honestly, one of the best gyms for me! I love that they have the turning stairmaster, good variety of cardio machines as well as a tonne of great weight machines. I also love the fact that they have a small studio where we can do yoga, some light spinning, stretching etc. without a large crowd! The staff is always friendly and very welcomng! I just joined but I already love it!

Fantastic experience: I’m a member about a year now. I like this place and community. People are friendly, no worries to put personal stuff on dash. The club is 24/7, very convenient!
Fantastic experience: As someone who has never worked out at a gym before, I was extremely hesitant to join but BOY am I glad I did! I work with a personal trainer who works out of Snap and immediately felt comfortable there. The staff is tremendous! They keep it so clean and tidy. There's always music on, tv's on, and friendly faces everywhere. I work from home and feel very isolated at times so it's always a treat to pop into the gym to friendly smiles and welcoming folks - whether it's staff or members. Everyone is great! The equipment is clean the space is safe, and now I find myself a total convert. I love my mornings at Snap! And I love that it's 24 hours and I can go any time I like!

Negative experience: Old equipment, small space, staff that don’t know the difference between a dumbbell and barbell. And good luck trying to leave. After cancelling (In writing) they continued charging me for several months. I had to speak with someone for their head office to finally get SOME of my money back several months later. Recommend avoiding this place
Negative experience: The worst experience you would ever have in your life would be Snap gym. Based on several reasons I was not satisfied at all and withdraw my membership. From the first day this gym was overpriced for almost nothing facility. TOO old gym facilities which almost always they are out service. With this price you can have access to the best gyms like stevenash. Unacknowledged staff and cold environment. And at last their surprising heavy cancellation fee !!! when you sign the contract you feel there is no cancellation fee but when you want to withdraw they charge you one month more because you should notice. :-))))) They are cheaters, scam and impostors , dont recommend to have subscription with this gym at all

Positive experience: Great, no frills gym. Equipment is somewhat limited. Lacks: incline bench, ghr, DBs above 100, Olympic platform. Just one squat rack but that's usually enough as it's not usually busy. Really friendly staff and good rates, too.
Negative experience: They stole 140 of my money and refuse to give it back Terrible customer service and have no common decency or heart. They never withdraw their membership on the same day causing my family a lot of hardship during a death in the family. Should be ashamed of themselves for refusing to acknowledge and rectify the situation.

Positive experience: Has everything you need for a gym. A little on the small side. Personal trainers are grossly over priced.
Fantastic experience: I have been a member here for 4 years. I usually go during the weekdays between 5:30pm and 7:30pm and mainly use the free weights, bench and squat rack. Despite having only one bench and squat rack, I rarely need to wait for equipment, event at peak times. Floor can be loud when you drop weights but there are plenty of mats to put under you if you're doing deadlifts or rows. There is a separate studio which you have to go outside to access (don't forget your keycard!) which is available to everyone. The gym is kept neat and tidy. 3 private washrooms, 2 of which have a shower. No lockers but in my 4 years, I have never had an issue with theft. There is always at least one or two staff members available and happy to help you with any questions or advice. Very friendly staff who greet you with a smile, even when they are on the phone. Demographic of the members are ~90% male and are all usually friendly or mind their own business; no ego lifters. Most members live a walking distance to the gym. Plenty of parking in the front and the back. When I had to cancel my membership, I gave them a month heads up. it took two signatures, no cancellation fees and a total of 3 minutes. I highly recommend this no frills boutique gym.

Positive experience: Nice people and staff. Very clean environment no smell or anything. Only things I don't like about the place the fact that there aren't more than one set of dumbbells and there is only one squat rack.
Negative experience: They charge more than 10$ if you just want to use fitness centre for 1 day and their staff is even rude.
Negative experience: Edited my review. Cancelled account because of COVID restrictions. Called and sent an email recieved confirmation of cancellation but was charged for 3 months after cancelled. Check your account statements as they will keep charging you after you cancel.

Negative experience: This business will steal from you and plead ignorance, I handed in my cancellation of membership form and they claim to of lost it, and when I tried to get refunded many months later for continuing to be charged monthly, the general manager wouldn't even show the courteousy to call me, and instead told her employee to call me and say they cannot give a refund unless I have a copy... I was never given a copy. So, grudgingly I went back in to refill a cancellation form and the clerk behind the desk didn't even give me a copy. When I asked if he was going to give me a copy, he replied "oh you wanted a copy of this" ... so how accountable does this business hold itself for its employees actions?? Not at all, and how much respect do they have for their members that move away and they overcharge? Zero. Do not ever come to this gym.
Fantastic experience: I have been going to Snap Fitness, Burnaby location, for over a year now and have nothing to say but good. Clean, positive, and helpful environment. Great gym for beginners and veterans alike.
Positive experience: Great little gym. They just about have everything I need. I wish they had fixed barbell weights under 30 pounds. Aside from that, it was great!

Negative experience: I just wanted to check the price for their membership. First of all, I couldn't find any information on their website. When I clicked on 'View pricing' I got a message: "This gym is not accepting online enrollments at this time. Please contact the gym or stop by during staffed hours to learn more about the current offers and options". This is ridiculous. Is this a lawyer's office? When I tried to go to the club to ask in person, the door was locked, I couldn't enter without a membership card, and there was a note saying that 'Staff was on break'. Then I tried to phone them and, after a lengthy recorded spiel about their services, the voice said that they could not answer my call, to leave my phone number and that somebody would call me back. Do people at SnapFitness at this Burnaby location (6745 East Hastings St) want to work or not? Do they really think that this is a good customer service, and that patrons have time to endlessly hunt for the essential information like the cost of the membership? I hope they'll close their lousy business soon.
Negative experience: The price is above average. The equipments are primitive. When you drop the weight you can feel the ground shaking... They charge card fee for 35, and the cancellation fee is 75... The more ridiculous thing is the cancellation: you have to tell them one month before you cancel. I cancelled my card in second week of the month, and they charge me this month and next month which is 2X46(approximate)... 'Cuz they said one month after which is second week of the month since that you have to pay the next month fee. I paid about $160 for the cancellation. WORST GYM EXPERIENCE EVER.
