Fantastic experience: Great location, good size and variety of equipment. I’m only here at night time, but the gym is great and clean.

Fantastic experience: I came to this gym twice while I was visiting friends in Calgary. The staff is extremely welcoming, and the wide variety of equipment made my workouts enjoyable. I would definitely come back.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with this gym. The staff here are incredibly unfriendly and unapproachable—they barely acknowledge you when you walk in and seem bothered if you ask them for help. To make matters worse, the gym is dirty and poorly maintained. I’ve noticed the floors and locker rooms are rarely cleaned. I expected much better for the membership price with its included additional fees for "maintenance" but sadly, this gym falls far short. I won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: I chose this gym because it is conveniently located for me. As a bonus, it is much less busy than other gyms I have visited. It has a good selection of equipment. The staff and friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: This gym is for everyone. Totally inclusive for all shapes, sizes, fitness, levels, genders and goals. The equipment is all excellent and the gym is super clean, including the showers. I've seen the personal trainers in action and have used them myself. Very caring, supportive and talented. They have a unique training room and offer group classes every week by experienced trainers.

Fantastic experience: Very good Gym. All the equipment is in very good condition and although the gym is small it's very rarely packed with people. Usually, it has about 3-4 people at a time.

Fantastic experience: Pretty decent gym. Overall it's cheap, quiet, and has friendly regulars, so I enjoy going here a lot. Unfortunately the gym is not maintained or cleaned very well. None of the staff seem to work out here which results in things going unnoticed. A lot of equipment is awkwardly crowded, although there is lots of space. The preacher curl is put backwards, facing away from the mirrors, week after week. Recently a clock's dead battery was replaced - it has been slow since there was snow on the ground, and it's now September. These are all small things, but a bit annoying if this will be your home gym, in addition to some cleanliness issues mentioned in other reviews. Changing to 5 stars because yooo we got a hack squat!

Negative experience: Gym is decent although at times is too busy to workout. Unfortunately found the contracts to be on the expensive side and predatory. There are no buy out options unlike other gyms that allow you to pay off 1/2 the price of remaining months to buy out of your gym contract. This was conpletely glanced over during my briefing of the membership. Would recommend other gyms that provide greater options regarding the price and flexibility.

Negative experience: i loved this place when i was introduced. my consultation was fun, the girl helping me was so pleasant and informative. and then I became a member. all bad over here! probably a massive reason why they do not have a regularly full parking lot. i definitely do not recommend. try literally ANY OTHER anytime fitness location, or please do yourself a favour and try a whole different gym. not worth the hype, the price, the headache, or the unfavourable unfriendliness that 90% of the staff possess. <3

Positive experience: Just signed up for a membership, hours online state staff at 9, hours on voice-mail state staff at 9, 9:18 currently and no staff, great start to a membership when there's no one to talk to.............. going on 9:31, still no one there to answer a phone or open the door, fantastic, love what I'm paying for................................

Negative experience: Tried to contact this gym multiple time never anyone answe the phone nor returns the messages. No wonder this gym is not busy.

Fantastic experience: Great staff focused on your health, not your wallet. It was nice to be able to join without feeling pressured or obligated to buy a personal training package.

I’ve recently been to gyms that limit the wipes, limit the staffed hours (less cleaning that gets done), limits the products and the accessibility to the minimal products that are available. Thank you for providing a SAFE, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND FRIENDLY environment for me and all your other members to work on their physical and mental heath! You can’t put a price or limit on that, and you don’t put a price or limit on us. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Clean! This gym was on par prior to COVID, but has really stepped up and gone above and beyond from what I have experienced there to ensure everyone’s safe and enjoyable experience. I have gone to a few other anytime fitness locations, this location is by far the most curious and professionally run location I have encountered, and make you feel welcome always. They are a solid fixture in the community. The new owners are amazing, and staff take the time with you. It’s a no pressure environment. If this is not your home gym, it really should be! Fabulous.

Positive experience: One of the smaller anytimes I’ve been to, while also being one of the busiest. Perhaps there should be a membership cap? But they only care about more profit, not customers retention. New Years resolutioners should be realistic and realize they will die alone and should just stay home instead of doing push-ups in front of the dumbbell rack. New lay out sucks.

Negative experience: Gym is fine, but when my membership ran out they tried to tell me I never paid a deposit for my fob, so beware they will try to steal your deposit.

Negative experience: Be aware of the open ended contracts. They like pulling the something thing as Goodlife where they get an extra months pay from you unexpectedly. Other then that the gym is alright. Pretty crammed anytime in the afternoon unless you work out odd hours. Not much equipment selection but you can make do.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Great trainers- Tyler is awesome and manager Alexis is friendly and knowledgeable. Staff is very kind and helpful and give tips even if your aren't doing personal training with them. Clean facility and not often busy. Just at 5pm-7pm

Fantastic experience: A wonderful place to work out. It's 24/7 access, free drop in sessions and use of the massage room are wonderful. The staff are fantastic, and it's a quieter gym so there is usually a surplus of equipment.

Fantastic experience: The place never has more than like 9 people. Lots of equipment and always the perfect temperature. The youngest age they let sign up is 12. Me being twelve, I find it funny to look at older peoples reactions when I set my weights down to 100 haha. 11/10 no bad side to it this gym is amazing

Fantastic experience: I took part in a free trial in December to see if this place was a good fit for me. The staff were friendly and informative. The machines all seem fairly new and well maintained. The option to come 24hrs a day makes it flexible for any schedule.

Fantastic experience: We have been across all of Western Canada to all Anytime Fitness locations in Calgary, BC and Regina and Deer Ridge is by FAR the BEST location that we miss everyday that we are no longer there with the most FANTASTIC owners and staff you will ever meet. Sandy, Cory, Alexis, Jackie, the whole team are absolutely incredible and our only regret is not having been there sooner. Other locations could definitely learn and model their exemplary standards of service, cleanliness and awesomeness. Thank you for being our second home!
