Fantastic experience: Nikki is an amazing trainer, she’s very personable and makes you feel comfortable. Shes very knowledgeable and I always feel so sore after our workouts. Im glad they finally have a female personal trainer at the gym, I really enjoy our sessions. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Nice

Positive experience: Although I have enjoyed being a member of this gym, I’ve noticed that over the last few months, the temperature in the gym has been so hot that you cannot enjoy your workout. Also, members cannot turn the fans on up in the studio and without the fans on, it often smells like rotten cheese and stale air. Both these concerns have been addressed to Alex the owner but unfortunately these issues have not been resolved. Still sooo hot in this gym. Felt like fainting today so left before completed my workout. 27 degrees today. See temps below.

Negative experience: I’ve been all over Canada and enjoyed many anytime fitness locations. This one is bare minimum and poorly thought out. I’d rather drive an extra 20 minutes and go to any other time fitness the showers are brutal gross and cheap. Bathrooms are often locked and closed due to who knows what. The cardio equipment faces the wall while there is a big window. They offer two channels on the TV systems in case you did not feel like staring at a wall. One is in French and the other is the infomercial channel. They blast the cheesiest soulless music possible over the sound-system all day and all night.. Some of the cardio equipment dates back to the 90s while others have broken control knobs. This is a type of situation where I would guesstimate that ownership does not come here and sadly they’re in it just for the money ..

Fantastic experience: This gym is absolutely amazing ! Great atmosphere of non judgmental people, with staff and management that know how to make you feel welcome every time you walk in the door. Stacy specifically goes above and beyond for her customers. You can tell she knows her stuff and is always there to help.

Fantastic experience: Having been to pretty much every major gym in the Newmarket Aurora area Anytime Fitness stands out through one major aspect: its QUIET. This means less time waiting around for equipment to free up and more time to get a sweet workout in. The staff here is friendly and facility is very clean as well.

Fantastic experience: I recently stumbled upon this gem of a gym, and folks, let me tell you, it's a workout Wonderland! If you're looking to transform your flab into fab while having a blast, this is the place for you. First off, the staff is so friendly that I'm convinced they've secretly swapped their protein shakes for happiness shakes. They greet you with smiles so big you'll forget you're about to torture yourself on the treadmill. I'm pretty sure they moonlight as stand-up comedians, too, because my sides hurt from laughing before my muscles did from exercising. Now, let's talk about the equipment. It's like a playground for adults! Who needs swings and slides when you can push and pull heavy things to your heart's content? I even spotted a machine that looked like it belonged on the set of a sci-fi movie. I'm not sure if it's for working out or launching rockets, but it's a hoot to use. The gym-goers here are a breed of their own. I've never seen so many people flaunting their stylish workout gear, as if we're all going to a fashion show instead of sweating buckets. And speaking of buckets, they've got water stations every five feet, so you can hydrate and pretend you're the captain of your own water break. And the best part? They've got a "Free Ice Cream Friday" once a month. Yes, you read that right! It's like they're rewarding us for all the hard work we put in by tempting us with creamy, delicious sin in a cone. In conclusion, this gym is a riot. You'll laugh, you'll sweat, and you might even ice cream binge guilt-free. It's like joining a fitness cult, but one that's all about fun and frolic. Fantastic experience: Awesome clean gym with great staff. Needs hamstring curl machine :)

Negative experience: Not good! I I am in University full time with two job and just haven’t had the time to go. Plus my boyfriends gym lets him bring me for free so I’ve been going with him. So, I went to cancel my membership at anytime fitness as to which they won’t let me because I signed up for the year membership. When I signed NO ONE told me that if I wanted to cancel I wouldn’t be able to. It’s been less than a year and they wont let me cancel and I have to pay for the gym till the year is up, again I was NOT told this when I signed. So make sure you read the fine print before signing up this is a such a money grab.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Newmarket has been my primary gym for the past 2 years. They have wonderful and friendly staff that are always welcoming and encouraging to all. My favourite aspects about the gym operation is that it's open every day of the year, it's never over crowded, and it's kept very clean! Negative experience: UPDATED REVIEW: I received a call from the gym’s manager, and had a 10 minute conversation with her. Based on our interaction, I have made a few modifications/clarifications to my review: - Their site says you can have a 7 day free trial, and the fine print on the site does say that each branch has the option to honor, or not to honor the 7 day trial. This branch does not provide a 7 day trial, however provides a one day pass. - In order to avail the one day pass, you will need a local ID. I have a valid ID from my home country, but not from Canada yet. So if you are new to the country and don’t have a local ID yet, you will have to either register for a membership, or pay $20 for a day pass. - I had registered online, and then also did the same at the gym, including a waiver form. I had to give a lot of personal information, including them taking a picture of me, purely for trying out the gym. For context, I have recently come to the area and am looking for a gym to join. I have tried Goodlife Fitness, Fit4Less and LA Fitness. All were very open and allowed me to try them out before I commit to one of them. So if you have a valid local ID, and are ok to share your personal details, then you can try out this gym. However based on my experience with the other gyms initial interaction, I’d recommend going to one of them instead.

They always chat with us and hang out and it makes the gym feel like a community. The gym is rarely busy which makes working out in a timely manner really easy to do, way better than LA. Fantastic experience: I have been going to the gym consistently for about a year now thanks to the best personal trainer I have ever worked with Aqui. She’s great always pushing me to my best, creating programs that are specific to my needs/ interests. And with her background in osteopathic treatment she can instantly tell if something is up with my body and offer a solution to help it.

Fantastic experience: In an not a gym person, I have tried other gyms and hated them but I love this gym. It's always so clean and everyone is so inviting and friendly. I go super early in the morning so I pretty much have them place to myself but when I have the day off and go in the afternoon everyone is always so welcoming and willing to help you out. The manager Stacy is the reason I actually keep up with going. She is a riot and help make it a comfortable place to work out!! If you want to go to the gym but are nervous or unsure, this is the place to go!

Negative experience: real crucks, be very careful with them and never sign contract, if you don't want to be ganged by that "so called fitness". there is other fitness clubs which is good, alike LA Fitness. Just stay away from that Scums!

Negative experience: Its not worth it. Its way too overpriced, and the contract has so many hidden regulations, so please take your time to read the contract before actually signing it. Don’t take it as a word from the staff, read it yourself.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Anytime Fitness Newmarket has been fantastic so far. There are lots of weights and barbells, so even during peak hours you can always grab a squat rack. The second floor has a nice little area for stretching and warmup, and they also have a functional training area. The staff, Alex and Dylan have been super friendly and helpful, and the gym is always clean and well maintained. Overall great experience, great gym.

Fantastic experience: Dylan was the person who helped me and my brother. We were looking around to inquire about the gym and Dylan offered to help us by setting us up with a free trial after giving us a thorough walk around the gym and asking us about our current workouts and telling us which machines we can do our exercises on. The process for the trial was simple and quick. The gym is really clean and not crowded which we love but a little on the expensive side. Thanks Dylan for the help and information!

Positive experience: Wow, compared to LA Fitness after 5PM ET, this place feels like a zombie apocalypse just happened. Where did everyone go? It's so quiet and they have clean variety of equipment, plus private showers. Anyway, I signed up for a 3 day trial and I didn't come back on the 2nd day because they required a $50 CASH deposit for a key fob. I'm a Millennial. Who uses cash anymore? I was like, do you take credit or debit? They said no. I bank with Tangerine and I have not stepped into a bank for years. I'm not going to be inconvenienced to go to the ATM, take out $50 CASH, just to continue with my trial. Why do I need a key fob anyway? Goodlife Fitness is open 24 hours too and I don't need a key fob to enter their facilities. It's just another money grab.

Negative experience: I used to really enjoy my time coming to this gym but a recent interaction with the employee Alex has led me to my decision to terminate my membership. I brought in a guest because the website says I was allowed to do so during staff hours. I forgot to contact staff due to personal circumstances but in spite of my sincere apology and offer to leave with my guest, I was warned and berated like a child under a thin veil of professionalism. He demanded that I provide evidence as to why I thought bringing guests in was allowed. He repeatedly cited security concerns and said he would make a note in the system under my name. I don't appreciate being talked down on like a child and have decided to move to Goodlife Fitness because of this. Please work to improve customer service, it's a real shame.

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best anytime branch I’ve been to the staff are exceptional especially Leo who has always been super helpful the location is quite large and the equipment is always maintained with care definitely worth the membership cost- This review was a year ago during that time I switched to a different gym which was a huge mistake- although to some the cost of the membership may seem overpriced I have been nothing but satisfied with the membership management and staff at anytime fitness. The gym is always clean and maintained and it’s never overpopulated and with the key fob you’re practically guaranteed a safe environment 24/7 and after working out for almost 6 years and experiencing a variety of gyms I can confidently say that the Stonehaven anytime fitness branch is definitely my favourite

Negative experience: They asked for 30 days notice cancelation and I sent to them months ago, but they kept charging my account after reopening! I'm just waiting for another charge on my account to sue them with my Lawyer.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start, this gym is what I think about when I think of the perfect gym. From the moment walking into the gym I was meant by management (Kate) who was knowledgeable and patient and able to answer all my questions. Upon signing up I notice the great environment and awesome energy from all the staff. The gym is always clean and tidy , With private change rooms which included showers which are very clean at all times. I highly recommend this gym for the great environment and knowledgeable staff.

Negative experience: Way better locations with much friendlier staff

Positive experience: Nice small place not too busy. Private change rooms are great. However, you can get a cheaper membership elsewhere and get more out of your membership. Their memberships are way overpriced for what a gym membership actually should cost.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I have not visited my gym in a very long time due to the requirements of booking a time slot. I specifically picked this gym for the anytime impromptu appeal of it. I'm a Mom and don't always have the privilege to book and keep a time before midnight and I'm just not that young anymore. Head office really needs to figure out how to go back to the casual walk in framework or I'll be moving elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great open atmosphere complimented by a welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Gym is new and boasts fantastic facilities with plenty of new and diverse equipment which includes both cardio and weights. A definite refresher from the Anytime location in Bradford which is now mercifully closed and left a lot to be desired. Wonderful job in putting this location on the map!!!
