Negative experience: They charge you 22 bucks for a new card - it's a piece of plastic. Also, the water fountain is broken: water is necessary for a gym so there should be some sort of alternative water supply when the main fountain is broken.

Negative experience: I am new to the gym and was on this machine no one seemed to be on and I started to use it and he comes over and yells at me to get off. Not only was it embarrassing but now I’m scared to use the equipment. Not hate to the gym just had a bad experience with the people who go here.

Negative experience: I have had male staff members walk in on me in the change room unannounced multiple times. The manager will also come wet mop directly under your feet in the middle of a set no matter how heavy a weight you are lifting. Also for a gym that is premised on affordability and accessibility - the new manager creates a very exclusionary and uncomfortable environment. They are more worried about whether you remembered your gym card or a spare pair of shoes than they are about tangible complaints of the same person being creepy towards young girls and making them feel uncomfortable as they workout which has persisted for at least 2 years now without action. If there was another remotely decent gym in stratford most of us would be gone by now as we all have the same exact complaints. It’s also ridiculous to close the changeroom multiple times a day to mop when people have to accesss the changeroom to get to work and get our stuff out of there but are told we can’t because someone decided to clean with a packed full gym it’s insane

Negative experience: Don’t forget your card Doenst matter if you show them you have a membership they won’t let you in ridiculous especially if you forget it and live out of town the manager is so rude even if you show them your name in the system they won’t let you in

Negative experience: When you drive 30 min to get to the gym and realize your membership card was left in another pair of shorts they charge you 22.00 for a new card even though they know who you are and you have a membership there. Not all managers are bad but one in particular should find some social skills or a new job. Funny if it happens at a GoodLife they just give you a new card. Customer service deserves a 1 star

Positive experience: The gum proper is great, lots of machines, usually very little to no wait. However i work late shifts and get there around 3:45-4 a.m. the showers not running at this time make it pointless. I am thinking of cancelling and finding another gym where i can actually shower after my workout.

Negative experience: Short staff means not able to use what you pay for, so don't pay for black card! It's a waste of time and money!

Positive experience: I returned here after a long absence from the gym while I was busy having a baby. Unfortunately my first day back was an unpleasant workout on my lunch. The upstairs workout area had a few individuals that were so smelly it burned my throat. There's a difference between sweating for a workout and never washing your clothes or showering for months. Then I went to get ready to leave to find the showers closed for repair. I figured I would just use the washroom and leave. I found a disgusting unflushed toilet. Water all over the floor in the next stall. I was able to use the 3rd stall. But then when I went to wash my hands there was air in the pipe and lots of splashing. The water was extremely rusty and brown.

Fantastic experience: I always feel welcomed from the moment I get there until I leave. The staff are always so helpful. And try to come up with solutions to any questions I have they are honest and upfront and professional in their working manner. The manager running it cares about the people enjoying their workouts and creates a comfortable, fun atmosphere while he is preforming his duties. The whole staff works hard to keep it clean and sanitary. All around it's a good experience and I highly recommend joining the club

Positive experience: Well, I figured out the hard way what the 'less' was - no showers unless there is staff in the building. Seems a bit silly. They should have better signage and be way more explicit on sign up - BIG LETTERS - make it obvious. I'll find a way to work around it, but very surprising at 645 one morning this week. Other than that, seems like an OK place.

Fantastic experience: Since I work continental midnight shift, I'm usually here on my days off somewhere between 1:30 - 4 am. Obviously never have to wait but never able to use the showers at that time which is disappointing. In any case Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night

Positive experience: Amazing gym as a black card holder- kind staff, obviously easy access at any time! I test stripped the sani spray- pending the time of day it was 60% neutral In my experience it means they need to re-concentrate the active ingredient... additionally it only works on direct contact so spraying the brown paper towel and then wiping is almost doing nothing. I think members would pay and extra .05$ to have alcohol germ wipes! Where there is a corner, there is a cob web. The mats have food, hair, dirt, rocks in them. Cleanliness and sanitary wise- Yick Affordability and services- Top Notch!

Negative experience: Within a week 3 x there was no staff in the evening hours !? I am going to this gym 5-6 times a week to work out and a main reason is also to use the hydro massage . If there is no staff , the massage beds ,massage chairs are not accessible!? The club is advertising black card membership with “unlimited use “ of massage beds and chairs ?!! It is NOT DONE with simply placing a statement on the counter that the club is “currently unstaffed because of staff shortages “…..maybe you should pay the employees a decent wage so you would have people there when you advertise “staffed hours “! Extremely disappointed unless this changes asap I might think about leaving the club !

Positive experience: Decent gym. Can’t complain equipment there is decent. I would not recommend for anyone doing strength sports due to rules such as no chalk etc.

Negative experience: So I paid for my gym membership online, fit4less usually send a email that is required for you to be able to get your card at the gym. I never got the email. I called 15 hours later to the gym and was spoken to in a very rude manner. The employee who answered the phone tells me to check me email again or come in and get it set up in person. I went to the gym after work and was "helped" by someone named Reeve. Who truly couldn't give the time of day to a customer. Didn't offer to help for more than a minute and said he doesn't know what to do. Told me to go home and try again. At the end of the day I'm out money and can't get In touch with anyone who is capable of being helping. I just want gym access or my money back so I can go to another gym.

Positive experience: Great gym, clean, enough space to social distance from others. 3 massage beds and 2 massage chairs usable during COVID19 measures. 2 tanning beds, stand up only. Some staff are friendlier than others - you'll quickly pick up on who you prefer to ask for help.

Negative experience: I love this gym and went to Goodlife before it switched into Fitforless. The night staff are wonderful, and the equipment is good...but recently there was a situation with a man that started to harass people as they were working out. I go nightly and everyone working out at that time talked about switching their workout time because they were uncomfortable. Finally someone stood up to him, and the man followed him to the change room. They were BOTH suspended. I am very disappointed to find they suspended the other guy who was innocent in this whole situation. It was very clear he was not in the wrong.

Negative experience: This gym used to be a Goodlife location. I have been going to Goodlife gyms on and off for 6 years. I have never had a problem using chalk, provided that I don’t make a mess. When this gym transitioned to a a Fit4Less model, the new management decided that they were going to become hyper sensitive about any chalk use whatsoever. This strikes me as especially ridiculous given that they have an Olympic lifting platform and that they have a designated section for “heavy lifting”. If you do any serious lifting, save your time and go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Dave Vossen-I have been a member of Goodlife for many years and loved this gym.When they changed to fit 4 less they took out six elliptical machines that had a longer stride and replaced them with machines with a shorter stride.Its one of the reasons I never bought a elliptical for at home.These are great for someone 5 ft tall.I have tried every time I go to the gym and can't get use to this.These machines were used all the time before and now are used very little.Please change them back.They are most likely just sitting in some warehouse.Thanks

Positive experience: HUGE fan of Fit 4 Less and once I saw the newly opened Stratford location I dropped my Crunch membership like the soggy bar of soap you often find on the floor of the Crunch showers. This repurposed Goodlife facility is well laid out with ample open space AND an additional room of free weights and equipment for those with a Black membership. The Black membership also gets you tanning and hydro massage chairs at no additional cost. And all of that is terrific but I was sold as soon as I saw the change room facilities. At Crunch you literally have a single 6' bench and metal mid-school lockers to cram your stuff in. If there are more than 4 people trying to change at the same time it is cramped and more than uncomfortable. The Fit 4 Less change room is large and open with big, wide lockers and plenty of shower stalls. This club is great value for your fitness club dollar!

Fantastic experience: More equipment more space better latout the goodlife and a 1/3 the price!

Negative experience: I have been a member since GoodLife started. I have enjoyed the club and the way it has been managed for the most part. However, with this new development I have lost my interest in pursuing this Fit for Less membership. The times of manned operation is not acceptable, especially with the “no showers till an attendant is on staff”. It was fine before because the staff was there fairly early which allowed many to shower before going to work. Now, 7:00 am on weekdays and 11:00 am on the weekends. Really?? I have been spitting nails since the news. The lower price is not selling me. It’s not like Stratford had 2 Goodlife clubs and the one needed to be changed to Fit for Less – fine. There already is a cheap club in town. If I wanted cheap I would have gone there. I guess now I have choices.....

Fantastic experience: The best GoodLife I’ve been to, and the best gym in Stratford!! Great gym for bodybuilders. Staff is warm, welcoming and kind; Lucy set me up with an affordable membership that included all available amenities. I had a free mobility consultation with Troy, who helped with my specific joint problems/ injuries and provided very helpful information. 7/5 would recommend!
