Fantastic experience: Wellness Living has allowed us to seamlessly integrate billing and scheduling, automating so many processes that we would have previously tried to do manually. They are constantly updating their software and responsive to their client needs. I also love the support we receive from Wellness Living. Love that they're a Canadian company, too!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service provided by HR Generalist Ryan Stark. I have emailed him 3 times since last week and so far he hasn't responded to a single one even though he said he would follow up with me regardless when we spoke on the phone November 22nd. Really disappointing to say the least and extremely unprofessional!

Negative experience: During onboarding I cannot get into my account. They extremely poor customer service. Onboarding specialist takes over 36 hours to reply and then says she doesn't regularly check the email she gave me during our 1st call. When I tried to call her and tech support, no one answers the phone. I have asked that they refund my money 4 days ago because I haven't used their service nor do I want to because their customer service is so poor. No response in 4 days! Avoid!!

Negative experience: I switched my yoga studio over to Wellness Living (WL)from Mindbody a few years ago as they promised better service, an app and integrated merchant support. WL does not have great customer service times and sometimes they seem to be more interested in confirming my updated information so i can give them feedback rather than solving my problem. Their system goes down alot which means MY system goes down alot which means students cant sign in or purchase yoga classes or memberships - OR it asks them to pay even though they have active passes. Super frustrating. For events - if a student purchases 2 passes for them and a friend; they can only sign in once so i have to keep track and manually delete event on account and put in another name as it wont even show that 2 spots have been booked. its alot of work manually for me. 10 months ago i opened a ticked and they were looking into it. It has still never been resolved. Merchant support has 2 parts Nuvei and NMI - they do not speak so if you update a new cc with nuvei be sure to also update it with NMI which is actually done through WL. This was not done as i was travelling internationally so they just cut off my merchant support. i think i owed them $90. So that was difficult AND it took ME 10 days to figure it out as WL support had no idea. Its super disorganised. The app is terrific if the backend was reliable. I will be looking for a new provider but again this will know cost me, my studio more time and money. Be cautious. UPDATE - Dec 17 2023 - -my app no longer works. When students open it it says APP IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN THE APP store. I pay monthly for this. when calling on a saturday they have no staff on to deal with this part of my wellness living experience. They said hopefully they can call me back tomorrow. They said its too bad this happened on a weekend. I said NO its too bad you don't staff appropriately for the weekend. This is HOW our students sign in and PAY and "hopefully" they will call me back Monday. meanwhile my studio suffers. FAIL

Fantastic experience: I own a Pilates Studio, and I have been using Wellnessliving since 2019. I couldn't be happier with the software. It works well for all bookings, reports, and transactions. I am particularly happy with the customer service as it is always done in a timely manner. When I talk about customer service, I have to mention the time I got help at 8 pm on a Saturday evening after accidentally deleting my bookings for a whole week. Someone on the other end of the line ensured the problem was solved. I highly recommend wellness living. It is totally worth the money, and you know they have your back.

Fantastic experience: About a month before opening a brick and mortar boutique studio, I had yet to choose a business management platform that would make running a roster of classes streamlined for me, and simple for my members online. One that would be transparent, without a hidden agenda, or hidden charges. I was attending an industry event in Toronto, Canada - and it was during an all day workshop on business strategies while collaborating with other participants, I first became aware of Wellness Living. My business hopped on board shortly thereafter, and have never looked back. Wellness Living is a great addition to my team - they take feedback and act on it, they continually enhance their product, and offer features I have yet to utilize. My members love the simplicity, the ease to hop in or out of classes as their schedule dictates. Fantastic experience: We switched over to Wellness Living from Mindbody after Covid, due to its affordablility. What we quickly found out was that not only were we saving money switching over, but we actually got way more options!! We love having our own branded app, the ease at which our clients can view the schedule, make/change reservations, & purchase classes & retail. The additional interaction with our clients through SMS/email & sending out our newsletter & promos - no more mailchimp. And lastly, the virtual studio option which provides an additional revenue stream. Highly Recommend!!

Positive experience: We use wellness living to run our business. The on boarding was fast, with a dedicated guy to help you, but leaves you hanging a little bit afterwards. The software itself is pretty, user-friendly, and easy to understand. It has a lot of functionality, and if it doesn't have what you were looking for, you can search the knowledge base. If what you're looking for within, a software doesn't exist yet, it will be pushed into a question that can gather votes. If others are looking for the same functionality, it will be added to the road map to be added. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars, is that I explained attendance tracking, was very important for my business, it does not work the way I expected it to. That being said, they are working on getting it added to the roadmap so people can check in during class times, but no word on when it will go live yet. All in all, good software, with app functionality.

Negative experience: I have to say I was surprised when trying to close my account the treatment I recieved. I asked to have my account closed and they continued to bill my account due to a clerical error on their part. I spoke to several agents and requested to speak with a manager and had no success. They insisted on having a form filled out to close my account that was never sent to me and continued to bill me. They could not supply any proof this form was sent and were extremely difficult to deal with. Buyer beware... Use Mommence instead

Due to an administrative error on our part, that email address was not updated and that resulted in the unintended delay to your account closure. Negative experience: Terrible experience. They seem cheaper but they way overcharge on finance fees. Software is rudimentary and glitchy. Issues for the entire time we used them. We finally decided to leave and they lost their minds. First they wont take the cancelation over the phone - there is a Pakistani call center. Then they have to have their "Customer Excellence" team reach out and that takes weeks and then they switch the contact. They offered us free months to stay and when we refused, they changed their tunes months later to insist we agreed to auto renew and under any terms - as we changed our terms at one time. Sent fake docs that we hadn't signed or ever seen 3 months after our first notification to them we were canceling. Now they refuse to take down the software and apps for our small business and continue to charge clients misrepresenting that they are authorized to charge for memberships at our studio. They are not a US company and have been impossible to deal with. Aside from which the software is not in the least sleek or well implemented. You will regret using this company.

Hi, We’re so sorry to hear about your poor experience. Our Customer Excellence team first got in touch when you originally requested to cancel your account in January. Our goal from the start was to help you find success on our platform and to see if there was absolutely anything we could do to help make your experience a good one. Specifically, you mentioned having issues with the use of certain features, which is why we offered a complimentary one-hour training session with a senior agent. During our call we also discussed your service agreement, which renewed last year and ends this coming June, although we did not send you a copy on that call as you did not request it. Please know that service agreements are standard practice for all our customers, and the agreement on your account has your original signature and IP address on it. We have noted your request to cancel your account and subscription payments will immediately stop after your 12-month agreement is concluded. I also want you to know that we are Canadian-based company and the senior agent you spoke with is also located in Canada, although we have agents located worldwide to serve the different regions in which we operate. Negative experience: Do not waste your time. I have been trying to cancel my business membership with them because I am switching softwares. They are making it confusing and difficult to cancel. They put you through a funnel of people and make you schedule calls to get any kind of help. I have been trying to cancel for A MONTH now. And I keep getting shuffled to the same sales person who will not give up on trying to sell me to stay with WellnessLiving. Even though I have been firm on saying- I am 100% that I need to cancel my business account with them. At this point I have paid for ANOTHER month because I keep going back and forth with Bill on cancelling. I am beyond dissatisfied. If it weren't for this experience I would have considered coming back to WellnessLiving in the future. But now, I would never.

Negative experience: Unauthorized $2000 credit card charge. Signed up for this service to try it after it was recommended by a friend. Tried it for two months, ended up costing me $2500.

It's our policy to discuss all billing matters over the phone and I can see that the early termination fee was billed after one of several phone calls between yourself and your Onboarding specialist, during which your authorization for the charge was obtained. We go above and beyond to help our customers succeed. Several months after signing on to your 12-month agreement, you informed us that you were having difficulty with data migration and we offered to conduct the data migration on your behalf. Later you mentioned it would be difficult to train your staff on our software, and we offered to conduct additional training sessions for your staff, at no cost to you. At one point you also mentioned that it was a busy season for your business and we offered a 6-month rebate and to place your account on hold. It's regretful that you declined those options and chose to proceed with an early account closure, however we fully support your decision to do what is best for your business and we hope you can find a platform that's the right fit for you. Negative experience: Don't bother with this service. We had a terrible experience with them, we run our own gym, and clients have monthly memberships. Repeatedly, clients credit card were billed incorrect amounts, or client's credit cards were billed but the software would show a failed attempt, this happened several times in a row. The software looks pretty, but take a lot of time and manage and ever more so, when you need to fix a clients account. We changed our clients renewal dates, and then on the next month the bills weren't sent out to clients (therefore we had to go into everyone accounts and resend them). Finally we decided to cancel after the second consecutive month we had an issue with them and no one responded for 2 days. We were 20 day's past our renewal date and once we tried to cancel they gave us nothing but headaches. From not returning our calls to ghosting our emails. If you have a dispute they are quick to refer you to their legal department. I can't stress enough how brutal our experience with this company has been. System looks pretty but you're much better off with a different software for this price point. The only thing I liked about it was the calendar and even Google Calendar is better than this. I asked for a call back at the end of Dec STILL haven't received one. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Negative experience: The systems are very confusing to use, and the sale associates provide no help in fixing this issue. I wouldn’t recommend others to use their program, you can find other ones which are better. Very disappointed customer.

Fantastic experience: Loving this software! I was switching from my previous - and more expensive - software, and looking for something that had ease of use, and a better price point along with a few more features, and I did not want to sacrifice all the features of my previous program. I found many out there that were at an equivalent price point, but did NOT have all the features. I persevered. And I'm so happy a friend recommended this software! It has everything I had previously - PLUS more - at a reasonable price for my boutique dance business! And I have to say the customer service is great! It was a fiasco switching - but - I knew that would be no matter where I went. Negative experience: My experiene with Wellness Living started off great! A couple of things for people to be aware of: 1. On 3 seperate occations while in "contract", my monthly fees were increased. 2. I was automatically enrolled in another 12-month contract without being told. When I signed up initially, somewhere in the fine print it says they will roll you into another 12-month contract. When I was nearing the end of my 12-months, I was not given any warning that a new contract would be starting. It is just unfortunate that I feel they "snuck" me into another year without even an email. They refuse to end my contract now and unfortunately I am paying out 12 months that I don't need. 3. When booking calls with customer service, on two occasions I booked a call and that person was on vacation. I sat and waited to be called for 15 minutes, I finally called Wellness Living and was told he is away on vacation. Very frustrating. To summarize, look around before you sign up with Wellness Living as there are many other vendors. After my experience with them I will be switching as there are a lot of options out there.

Hi Jenny, For years we've been making huge investments in continuously improving our software by building new features our customers have been requesting, from productivity enhancements to new revenue-generation tools, all the while the cost of everything has gone up, including development work and the tools we use to communicate and administer databases. We did our best to hold off as long as we could but in 2021 we raised our prices for the first time ever after eight years in business, which was unfortunate but necessary in order for us to maintain and grow our platform into the future. Last year, after conducting analysis on businesses and feature usage patterns, we also made the decision to replace our pricing plans with a new structure designed to bring you better value. Please know that the features under each plan have changed under the new structure, and we have plans available at or below your previous rate with most or all the features you are currently using. Please know that our agreement terms are publicly listed and can be accessed from our site, although we can certainly send you a copy of your service agreement upon request. We do full diligence in communicating these terms in the sign-up process because your knowledge of the renewal date, the 12-month period and all other parts of the term are integral to the service agreement. I am sorry to hear of the two mishaps you've had with the arranged phone calls. Commonly, our agents will send you an email with temporary calendar links to book a call, but as mentioned these are temporary and meant for one-time inquiries. I suspect an older email link is the culprit here. Negative experience: the customer service is TERRIBLE. all they do is lie to you and say that they will call you back and never do. it is impossible to cancel the subscription because you, the owner, have no say in the matter. you have to call up tech support where they will "get back to you" and then never do. I have been trying to cancel for 3 weeks now and have resorted to putting a stop order on my credit card because they refuse to pick up the calls and im assuming now that my number has been put on their watch list as I get sent to voicemail 9/10 times. There is also no way for the owner to remove or edit the first credit card they put in, meaning that you have no ability to cancel your subscription or remove your personal payment information from their database. So basically it's impossible to leave without talking to their staff or canceling your credit card entirely. I wanted to post this so that anyone looking to sign up is warned that once you're in. its impossible to get out.

Negative experience: I attempted to switch from Mindbody to Wellness Living. It sounded like it would save a lot of money, and that the softwares did basically the same thing. I still had 6 months left on my Mindbody contract but was told that if I signed up with Wellness Living now, I would be charged monthly for the software, but also reimbursed monthly since I wouldn’t be using it for six months. After being charged for two months and not receiving a reimbursement check, I asked when I would start receiving them. I own a small yoga studio that opened during Covid and our income still isn’t that great. I was told that I would receive a check for my months charged after onboarding. So I rescheduled my onboarding meeting and expected reimbursement for 4 months after that. When I was charged for November (still not having received any services or financial reimbursement from wellness living) they said that I would receive one check at the end, once I was using wellness living, and after I completed a survey. I stopped trying to work with them completely and called my credit card company and filed a complaint with the better business bureau for help. I don’t trust wellness living and would rather pay more for Mindbody because at least they’re trustworthy and reliable. I was incredibly disappointed with my experience, as I had originally been really excited about working together.

Negative experience: This company is the worst company on the planet, they literally took our money for their "presence" website that they never delivered, they took our money for almost a year for their software and branded app that they never set up. Because they will call you from a phone that is unrecognizable or spam risk, and not respond to you for 5 days. nor can you just call them and actually speak to someone. unethical and worthless. we set up our business on Pike13 in 4 days while waiting for them to call us back.

Fantastic experience: Loving Wellness Living! They are always eager to help me with any issues that I may have. The software is always improving, and super customizable. I do have some time trouble understanding the customer care reps that are in foreign countries, but I have a great monthly coach (Jackie Kapp Walters) who helps me with my marketing and promotions who is super and knows the software inside and out. The features seem to surpass Mindbody (I vowed to avoid them when I opened my own studio, bc of cost and poor customer service, and WL has exceeded my expectations) The price remains fair, even though they raised it on me after telling me they would not. Understandable though. The bonus $$ I get for being a "partner" and referring other businesses is great incentive. Keep improving and growing WL!

Negative experience: Do not use Wellness Living for your gym or training studio. Their sales team will tell you they can do anything you ask for, but they actually have no idea if they can do it. In the first meeting we had with them, they assured us they could do everything my studio needs... So they can sign you do a year contract. Once we signed the contract, Daniel(our onboarding person) was not able to do many of the things we needed for our company. He also was not available for appointments many times(he was on vacation I believe). Meanwhile, we are paying for their monthly service. After 6 months of still not being able to actually go live with Wellness Living's service, we complained to Matt. We told him wellness living was supposed to make our business easier and smoother, when in fact it made operations more time consuming and difficult. We asked for a refund since they were not able to do what they promised. They then again gave us more run around, and even said they were going to take our issues to their technology officers and make adjustments so their software fit our needs. What a joke! I have since cancelled payment to this company and got a refund from American Express(mainly because wellness living had never been able to get us live, even after 6 months). To summarize, DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE. They will promise you everything, but they won't do anything but take your money.

Fantastic experience: We have been customers with wellness living for about a year now. They really care about their clients. Of all the companies we have tried so far. They have the most flexible software and customer support as well. Running a dance school is difficult but it's easier with wellness living. Fantastic experience: Amending this review. Gregory followed up with me nearly immediately after I posted this and found a solution to all of these issues. Being able to talk to someone was really helpful, and really does speak to Wellness Living's commitment to customer service. Aside from the issues we've had recently (all relating to recurring class packs, which I imagine studios rarely use - and all things their team is working on), I have nothing but positive things to say about Wellness Living. As a former Mindbody user, I've found Wellness Living to be far more user friendly, the reporting to be much easier and the company itself to be far more committed to its users. If you are reading this and considering making the switch, I would highly recommend it :) ---- I’m not sure how else to get through to your team. I’ve talked up your platform to everyone I know, and even filmed a testimonial video letting everyone know how happy I was with it, but I’m not so sure anymore. We have experienced MULTIPLE issues - payments running despite clients being suspended, classes not rolling over despite us having this option enabled, clients randomly getting shorted classes - some of which have been pending review by their developers for months. If someone is actually reading this, could you please let me know when these issues will be resolved? I’m exhausted responding to clients about this, and am frustrated that your team has no idea when these issues will be fixed.

Negative experience: I would give this 0 stars. I can’t wait to move to another platform. They always give you the run around and try to say the issue isn’t them when it is. Plus every time you call for a simple request, they don’t know how to do it so they call or email you back, which is usually days later not even hours later. They don’t seem to understand their own software. Obviously not training staff properly. We have so many issues with them, I am 100% moving over to another platform ASAP. It makes it so hard as a business owner to deal with them. Run.

Positive experience: I would give this company no starts if there was an option. It is the most complicated, non-user friendly software I've used. The booking flow for clients it tedious and required many clicks that are not intuitive and often result in many calls into the clinic from Patients who can't figure out how to schedule online. I've had many issues that I report to the company and get answers like "that in unintended system error" or "let me post that to our community forum" with no resolution. I even had 2 calls scheduled with a higher level support specialist for all the issues we were having and TWICE he did not make the appointment. Today, 7/19/21, there was a system outage and the system didn't work ALL DAY. We had no idea who was coming into the Clinic, when they were coming, what their scheduled treatment was, if they had paid or not. We were unable to schedule any clients or produce any sales. Yes, we had a $0 sales day...that hasn't happened since I opened my doors 10 years ago. The best part is they blame the Amazon Web Service severs for an "unscheduled update" that caused the outage. I was so frustrated today I called Amazon Web Services who said there was no such update and the problem was on the Wellness Living system. Once I realized they not only ignore our requests for help but now are lying about their faulty system I've made the decision to leave. RUN away from this company. There are far better options available out there. Update 11/9/21: since I posted this review I was contacted by a Customer Advocate, Gregory Gorkenberg. Greg has been easy to worth with, has listened to our long list of issues and has been proactive to finding solutions to our issues. He has resolved some, advocated for others although not all were able to be resolved, stayed in contact regularly regarding others, and has been a channel to funnel new system issues and glitches. I changed my rating from a 1 to 3 stars today due to the proactive help Greg has offered. I am still not completely sold that this will be our permanent system and still continue to shop around and compare others. We continue to have many new system issues, glitches, and “unintended system errors” that make running our busy clinics tedious and difficult and would not yet recommend Wellness Living to my colleagues but I am hopeful that maybe with Greg’s help these things can be resolved and updates in the next couple of months will fix our issues and deliver on the promises made during the sales process.

Positive experience: I spent 4 years with Mindbody from 2010-2014 and rejoined again November 2019.   Recently I migrated from MindBody to WellnessLiving and I can say this has been the best decision for my company!   Some key takeaways: 1) Cost was obviously a factor given COVID and the resulting downturn in the economy.  WellnessLIving has great competitive pricing which is saving me over $350 monthly as I was able to do away with two other applications. Additionally, the migration went well without any issues.2) WellnessLiving Customer Service team--- those individuals are awesome!!   Always a phone call away, very patient with real solutions.  3) My staff found the platform intuitive and easy to maneuver to get things done quickly. Finally, our customers LOVE the new interface.  Easy to sign-up, Book and Pay for services. Great for small to mid-sized companies.

Fantastic experience: I am incredibly pleased with Wellness Living's depth of functionality and their very caring tech support team! I own a healing studio that offers many different services from massage, nutrition and yoga, to coaching, essential oils and energy healing, where the set up and operational needs of each department is vastly different. Wellness Living does a GREAT job of attending to each of the departments operational needs in a most logical manner. The software even allows for clients to choose their own "customize healing plan" involving a unique combination of services and / or classes each month, in a most streamlined fashion where there is one simple set up that can be modified to each client's wishes at checkout. This by far is THE BEST feature with WL b/c no one’s healing journey looks the same and WL allows for us to accomplish our greatest mission for granting the opportunity to clients to heal in totality their mind, body and spirit, in their own unique way. Wellness Living is definitely not your “one size fits all” program, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a most flexible and orderly accounting of their business operations.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used Wellness Living for the past few years and migrated over to them from a different company. There were kinks in the migration as there always is when changing over to a new system but WL worked hard to make the process as smooth as possible. I’ve seen so much growth with the company over the years and they continue to improve their software and customer service. The price is also reasonable compared to other companies.

Fantastic experience: Since changing over from Mindbody I have had much less headaches with my software. Yeah, there are glitches here and there, but that is a given with any software. I have never had customer support be on top of things like they are at Wellness Living! I get questions answered within hours, which helps me to get so much more done. Fantastic experience: There are some small glitches that need to be fixed, like any software, but honestly, the support from the client support team is unmatched. This morning one of the support staff spent an hour and a half on the phone with me, making sure everything was answered and set up properly. Their customer service is phenomenal and I see changes happening weekly, so it will only get better!

Positive experience: Good app, but has a few issues that needs to be fixed For instance removing a company that you no longer use and a few other issues. Update: Thanks for responding, this is still an issue for me, There are other issues with the app that I don't appreciate.

Positive experience: The Onboarding team has made our transition from mindbody as smooth as possible. The people who work there overall have been very helpful. We sometimes experience minor issues with the speed of the software. Overall, it was a GREAT decision for us to make the switch over.

Negative experience: I have been using for over a year and while it has some nice features, I have had nothing but issues that I spend a ton of time trying to fix with VERY limited assistance from customer service. Most of the time they refer you to videos to watch without actually providing "service" to fix the issue. Many reports (especially the financial ones) are inaccurate. You care unable to VOID transactions entirely, you have to go in the back end and "edit" which I only discovered through trial and error. The system is incredibly delayed - I have tried to make many changes and send emails only to find out they don't happen in real time - you have to wait, sometimes hours, for the change to occur or email to be sent. If I had to do it again, I would absolutely NOT change software providers. What money I have saved has been spent in triple with wasted time trying to fix various issues.

Fantastic experience: WL made managing our business and customer experience easier, so we can focus on our services with confidence. When I finally decided to switch to Wellness Living last year, I was a little scared to leave my prior business managing company, even after not being happy with their pricing for so long. On one hand, my studio had 4-years of client data, and I was worried about the migration. Our staff and members were also familiar with the prior platform, and I was nervous about starting over with a new system. From my first call to Wellness living I felt safe and well taken care of. The on boarding experience was amazing. Data migration was seamless as it can get, and we receive on boarding support for at least a month after the transition -this was a hot line exclusive just to us (new members). In the end, we were up and fully running within 2 weeks. Our staff and members got used to the new software right away! The software is easy to use, and they grandfather us on a pricing for life! (say what?). Whenever we had questions, the support team has always been very helpful in quickly answering our questions and educating us. We are very happy to have switched programs, and highly recommend the Wellness Living Business Management Solution and the team. Switching software can be scary, but with a well managed software and great support team and at a great price, making the switch is a no brainer. Thanks so much Wellness living!

Fantastic experience: We switched to Wellness Living in January of 2017 and could not be happier. I had been with MBO since I opened my yoga studio, in 2004, and was looking for a better system with better customer service. I definitely found it with the WL system. It's not only a much more visually appealing system but it's also intuitive, user-friendly and incredibly easy to learn. To be honest, I was very nervous about the transition and wasn't looking forward to learning a new system and training over 20 people. But, I am so glad I did. Now our clients register for more classes online, the system is completely mobile friendly, and we love the integrated marketing emails and texts. And to top it off, the WL team is truly amazing. They know your name, your businesses, and they get back to you right away with personal videos and explanations for anything you need. They also listen to your requests. They have implemented over 25 of our requests in less than a year.
