Fantastic experience: There is a very welcoming energy here at Snap. I've always been greeted with a smile and you can always rely on having a good conversation regardless with it being about personal life or exercise expertise. As well as having many options for equipment to meet all your needs. I highly recommend this gym, and you can bet I'll be back, thanks Holly and Mike!

Negative experience: My story: I got an email asking for a gym survey, and I gave 4 points. With the exception of weights, equipment availability, and cleanliness, I gave the facility a score of 4 out of 10. Several hours later, I received a phone call from the gym, but I was busy at the time, so I was unable to answer. In a voice mail message, the owner stated, "We received your survey and it appears that you are not satisfied with our facility due to the pricing and music.". The remaining August payment will be refunded to you, and you will be able to find a better gym. After a few minutes, she refunded me 4 dollars and cancelled my membership. The reason for canceling my membership was that she did not like my survey, really? Why would you want customers' opinions if all you are interested in is your own? There has been no answer to my calls all day, I have left voice mails, but no one has returned my calls. In response to my call from a blocked number, her husband answered. First, he defended his partner's decision, but then he listened to me for over 12 minutes. In my opinion, he is a good person, and the decision was not discussed with him. In 2024, people are still behaving in this manner. As requested, I provided constructive feedback. Such childish behavior will not be tolerated by the snapfitness management club. Despite the fact that I have everything documented, I feel insulted and discriminated against for giving my opinion. I will ensure that snap fitness club educates the people to which their brand is presented. It would be beneficial for the owner to take some courses in customer service as well as be educated on the right to free speech. I provided professional and constructive comments throughout my survey.

Fantastic experience: I switched to this gym about a year ago and I absolutely love it! Mike and Holly are full of knowledge and information and always willing to help. They’ve created a welcoming community in the gym, which incorporates quality equipment, and an unmatched energy!

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a gym where I feel comfortable and welcome. Going to the gym can be intimidating but both of the owners Mike and Holley were amazing and welcoming. They have such a positive environment that is truly judgement free. I drive from St. Albert to Spruce Grove to go the the gym because it is that amazing!

Fantastic experience: I've been at this gym for over 3 months now, and every time I walk in the door, it's an amazing experience. Firstly, there's an abundance of gym equipment for any of your needs. Second, the other members are always supportive and willing to help out. Last but definitely not least, Mike and Holly are great gym owners. Anytime I've ever needed help with something, whether it be a spot, a conversation, or advice, they've always been there. 10/10 recommend to anyone at any stage in their fitness journey.

Negative experience: Worst treatment ever. I went in to what I thought would be a consultation appointment with Mike with the possibility to hire him as my personal trainer. When I introduced myself at the front desk Holly went to give me papers to sign up and she noticed that I wasn't dressed to work out. Then she made a comment, "Well it doesn't look like you came here to workout today." Then she stood up and walked away from me. Mike seemed nice enough though, but it was Holly's poor attitude and other comments that put me off. I tried to explain that I'm comparing personal trainers and their gyms right now and will make a decision afterwards. Not a good first impression of the gym at all. Mike did his best to explain about the services that he would provide, which I appreciated and their pricing seemed fair. But in the end, to say it nicely, it was Holly's rudeness that sealed the deal for me. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone even though Mike seems like a decent person.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym to come to in Spruce Grove. The owners are beyond helpful and kind and make the environment enjoyable. They have equipment for everything and are constantly trying to make their gym better by adding the best to it. Highly recommend this gym. You won’t regret joining!!!

Negative experience: New owners are not very welcoming and have an intense demenour to them. If you aren't into powerlifting, don't bother with this gym and find a better place.

Fantastic experience: Started coming here at the beginning of the summer. The owners are super friendly and very willing to answer questions and give advice. I did some personal training with mike and he was incredibly thorough and worked with me to improve my form. The gym has lots of equipment and some that I haven’t seen other places. Everything is in good repair and the facility is kept clean. The other gym members are polite and friendly.

Negative experience: I'd give no stars if that was a thing, don't waste your money or time going here very rude ownership.. my mom and myself went to go sign up for a 3 month membership today as they had a promotion going and ONLINE IT SAYS SENIORS DISCOUNT ... when we went to sign up the we asked the staff member about the discount.. she didn't know and messaged her Boss his response was "Absolutely not no" she probably shouldn't have directly read the message out loud and probably shouldn't have put her phone down for me to see the actual response ... VERY VERY VERY DISRESPECTFUL ON THE PART OF OWNERSHIP. WHAT A GOOF

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Super clean. Almost all of the staff/trainers are very nice and approachable. Being a mom of 2 and not getting out much, it's wonderful to be around pleasant people. Just about everything you need is there!! Both hubby and I are happy with our choice of a gym since moving to spruce grove.

Fantastic experience: Not only is Alison the friendliest, most encouraging and cheerful front desk manager, but the atmosphere is incredible, the equipment is clean and in good condition, and the members are all courteous, respectful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I love this place. I originally started my fitness journey here when I was 17. The staff has always been incredible throughout the years. The Personal Training is top top quality & I love that this gym offers so much free resources & help to all members. Also very very clean & the owner has a heart of gold.

Positive experience: It’s nice to see a Snap that carries 110-130.lb dumbbells. Has a hex bar= Bonus. Lots of equipment, however there is limited room. If you want aerobic classes, this is not the place for you as they do not have dedicated room. I don’t know why there are white hairs all over the carpet though. Need a better vacuum guys.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym! The equipment is in great shape and they have almost everything you'd need for a great pump. Everyone keeps to themselves and it’s a very clean place to be!

Negative experience: Wonderful gym with fantastic, kind staff. However, this Snap Fitness has some peculiar fine print in their agreement you must first sign to work out. You must pay a sign-up fee of $69.00 for essentially nothing, THEN a membership fee of $52.00 monthly on top of that. Do you want to take a break amongst the Covid-19 pandemic? No problem, they'll freeze your account ( and charge you monthly still but just at a reduced price ) and then RENEW your membership after the MAXIMUM freeze length of 3 months is up. Do you want to just cancel the membership because you're struggling to afford something that's open only so often because of Covid? No problem, except you need to pay an extra month, because screw you. Good people, however the person who wrote up the agreement is quite greedy.

Fantastic experience: Super supportive staff, friendly clientele, and CLEAN! There covid response is excellent with there apps that help you book a time to come in and also see how many people are booked for that time! Nice and open area so you don't feel like your working out ontop of someone. Its been my go to gym for years here in the Grove. I keep coming back!

Very very clean the front desk staff are always doing something hardly ever do I see them sitting still, on their phones etc. They are always doing something to maintain the quality of the place. Equipment while it may be limited due to size is in great condition and there is still a great variety of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment as well. I've never had to wait for anyone for anything. But if I did I know I could work in with them as well, simply because that's the vibe people give there. Friendly & approachable.

Positive experience: Just signed up for a month. I have to say the place even though it's relatively small is very clean and they have plenty of top quality gear. I was a member at another Snap Fitness about 6 years ago for an entire year....i got excellent results!! So if you stick with it...you'll start seeing differences in no time! I'm 51 in the picture.

Positive experience: Edited and dropped a star since they seem to be hopping on all of the MLM bandwagons. The store is plastered with ads for various MLM schemes and they actively sell Juice Plus and Ziya. MLMs are well known for their predatory business models, particularly their targeting of single or stay at home moms. Great little gym! I like the 24 hour access so you can time your workouts at off peak houra. I do wish there were showers like some of their other locations but it's no deal breaker.

Positive experience: Nice equipment but very quickly becomes crowded. Also can't bring kids, which due to the size does make sense. They offered a 14 day trial but when I went in I was told it's only 7 days. Staff were all very friendly and approachable.
