Negative experience: F××k that site doesn't work already minimum half year!! But still show that's is work!!! Very angry!!! very angry at these directors at the same time who did not update because I'm going here for the second time in six months and it's closed here

Negative experience: Permanently closed since February 23, and nobody's considered fixing the Google results yet. Caused me a lot of grief today

Positive experience: No longer open. I suggested an edit but figured I’d post this as well. Went to the gym a few days ago after being away the last few weeks and the place is boarded up with a sign saying it is “closed indefinitely”. No warning that it was going to close. Earlier in February it was opening and showed no sign it was closing

Negative experience: Spacious gym with clean equipments. Love the ambience. However, I left this because of temperament of manager Mr. Jonathan Simo as he struck me as petulant person. There was a few experiences of him with me when he reacted inappropriately and it wasn’t appreciable at all.

Negative experience: It's the worst gym, scammers. I sent them a paper canceling my subscription two months ago, and I was surprised today that they withdrew the amount of 113 dollars from my account, and when I ask them they say it is an autopsy for me that you terminated the service!! In what law is this when you end a subscription they steal this amount from you!! Bad service It is very exploitative and I do not advise anyone to go to it

Negative experience: Staff did not answer the doorbell, I got in behind some member so that I could do my free trial from their website and then some Mike dude (staff member/owner)? finally showed up from wherever he was hidden. He was super annoying and confused about the fact I wanted a monthly membership lol. Also let me know they don't even honour the free trial that I had setup through the website. Greaaaat customer experience!!! ;)

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible location and customer service. I requested cancellation in February and they have been consistently charging my credit card so far and its May now.

Negative experience: I joined this gym April 3, 2019 and was a huge fan of this gym until recently. Once upon a time, I was on their top 5 roster for people that use that gym location the most. I would go at lunch, again after work, had personal training, took boxing sessions etc... a minimum of 4 times a week. I had 2 of my coworkers join both the gym and personal training as well. I contacted them months ago to discuss rejoining (after covid) and joining up my sister. They said my rate would stay the same but that my sisters rate would be slightly higher. I have the emails to prove it. At no time did they say there is an issue. Shortly after confirming this information with the gym, I was contacted by Kingston Data and Credit. They are claiming that I owe the gym $410.84. What??? I was totally shocked. I mentioned that I think it may be an error and asked them if they could send me something from the gym saying I owe money. I am not sure how I can owe money when they charged my credit card automatically. 1. Why wouldn't the gym call me to say there is an issue before putting something on someones credit rating? My office next door LOL! 2. Why can't anyone provide documents to show I owe anything? 3. Why didn't the gym say anything to me when I contacted them about rejoining after covid? This owner is clearly a desperate douche!

Negative experience: Came by twice on Monday within the staffed hours (11-4) to sign up. Nobody answers the doorbell or the phone. No answering machine on the phone either. Taking my business elsewhere, as they clearly don't want it

Fantastic experience: Joined a few days before the second lock down. No regrets. The gym is fairly accessible if you work around the area. Even though this gym can be considered small but it has all the equipment necessary (i.e. two power racks for squat/bench). Michael the manager was very friendly and patient in answering all my questions on the day I join. The gym is fairly free most of the time and that's a huge bonus. Look forward going back to this location.

Negative experience: The owner deletes honest and real reviews and has since deleted mine. They scammed me and they don’t actually cancel your memberships. I had a customer of mine at my work have the same issue with this very gym. They brought it to collections and will be on my credit report for the next 7 years thanks to them. Do yourself a favour and join LA fitness/GoodLife.

Negative experience: Gym is nice but the owner charges way too much for classes and charges so much for the fob. I work beside this location and unfortunately it is way to much to sign up here. I had to sign up at the location beside my home that way my membership was cheaper. Owner always smells like cigarettes. At first I didn’t know he was the owner as I didn’t expect someone like him running a gym. I only recommend this gym to work out at but sign up elsewhere to pay cheaper!

Negative experience: I called asking if I can book an appointment where they'd give you a tour, trial, membership options etc. And we booked my appointment for a Friday (DURING STAFF HOURS.). I go to the gym, see I can't go in without ringing the doorbell to have someone come open it. Rang the door. No one came. Rang it again, no one came. Stood there for about 15 minutes waiting for ANY staff member to walk by and no one showed up. No members even came through the door during those 15 minutes (shows how popular they are). And before the owner replies saying "we have no record of a Jaz in our systems", not everyone uses their real names on here. Ended up calling their phone 20 times, still no answer. Fire your staff and hire someone who's capable of answering calls and doors on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Edit: to the owner saying there was no tour booked for this past Friday, this happened about a month ago. You guys then kept calling my phone a week after I left 3 voicemails asking if I was still interested. I've since signed up with good life and they have been amazing and did not ignore my calls.

Negative experience: Super expensive for a not price worthy experience. Gym is small and you have to pay for the amenities on top of the 50 dollar monthly fee

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent gym! It opened up less than 2 years ago, so all the equipment is practically brand new. The staff is very helpful and the members are nice as well. Clean washrooms and drinking fountain. Doesn't get very busy. It's very well lit, which may not seem important at first but when you compare it to other gyms that are dark, you appreciate the well-lit gym. All in all a great place to work out and get fit

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal 24/7 gym and all new equipment too! But aside from that, do you have a question you've been wanting to ask a fitness trainer but never got a chance to? They have an app for that too! It's remarkable that you can simply message the gym's fitness trainer through the app FOR FREE and at YOUR OWN convenience. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard about this, and can undoubtedly say that this is the best gym I've ever been to!

Negative experience: Gym seemed very nice, however owner is extremely rude. Didn’t feel at all welcome. As someone who travels and frequents different gyms, I was extremely disappointed. Also, make sure you knock first before going into the gym :) Edit in response to owner to my previous comment: How am I supposed to read the signs on the door if the doors were open? I tried to tell you this, but you didn’t seem interested in listening. You were getting confrontational, just as you are in the response to my review. It was obvious I wasn’t trying to enter illegally. I was trying to find someone to give my money to so I could use the gym!

Fantastic experience: By far one of the best gyms I've ever been to. Sam, the owner who's very friendly and personable, does an amazing job at running the gym. It is a very clean, quiet and friendly gym. All equipment are maintained perfectly, top of the line cardio equipment with Bluetooth, Netflix, settings for simulating running a marathon and many more. The private bathrooms are always clean and come with a private shower. All in all, one of the best gyms I've been to in a while, with all the equipment you would ever need. Plus, the area around is beautiful with a massive parking lot and plenty of food to find around here.

Negative experience: One of the worst Experiences , owner is very rude. Before the owner reply to this review claiming I am not a member, yes I am a member. I’ve paid you guys over a year. Anyone looking to join I ended up getting way better deal at LA fitness which is 10 times the size at a much cheaper rate .

Fantastic experience: The best gym I've ever been to. Feels like the perfect size for the amount of people here. It's pretty new, with all of the equipment also been new. Also 24/7, with private washrooms and an accessible body-fat and stat machine. On top of all that, great staff! I'll definitely renew when my membership expires.

Negative experience: Small. Over crowded with machines that have NEVER seen use. ZERO good equipment and for some reason theres always some sort of construction going on blocking some area off

Negative experience: Looking to join a gym with several Ontario locations, went for a free trial to get more info on prices etc. They did not allow me to look at prices for different memberships, immediately tried to have me commit for a year. Finished the free trial and was refunded only a portion of my deposit, so I called to find out why. There is a hidden enrollment fee of approximately $16 for the "free" trial. Felt like a scam the whole time, will be joining Goodlife as my experience there was far far better.

Negative experience: Avoid this location if this isn’t your home gym. The management is awful and will literally tell you they don’t care about your issues as they don’t make money from you. They have a sign on the door that says any problems with your fob, you need to contact your home gym. Having used multiple AF gyms in 3 countries, I’ve never had this problem before, also used other AF gyms locally and no issue. This is a problem I’ve only ever come across at this location but they want to shift blame onto you. The gym a lot smaller than other AF and other gyms in the area. It is clean. When alone, it can be daunting, as it creeks a lot (ha). I wish more gyms would invest in lockers that actually hold a gym bag. The machines are of good quality. I think the massage chair could be removed and replaced with another shower, I went in and looked like someone had been sweating when they used it, which isn’t hygeinic.

Fantastic experience: Went to all the anytimes from oakville to Toronto while I was out here. This gym was BY FAR the cleanest, in the best shape and most equipment(all of which is new). Worth the extra few mins drive.

Negative experience: Nice gym. I worked out her over the summer of 2018. When i signed up I was told that I could cancel with 2 months notice. When I went to do so I was told this was impossible... the staff here were very Un professional and unhelpfull. I would avoid this place at all costs

Negative experience: After leaving a review and being treated unfairly and wrongfully, the owner had the nerve to send an email to my home gym stating that I tried to bring a non member into the gym, when we were going to sign her up as she lives in mississauga and I live in stouffville. I went back to the gym today, again not knowing about email yet, and being the first time going back since the incident. Funny enough my fob doesn't work, and the owner won't allow me to come in, didn't even wanna deal with me, didn't take the time to say let me look you up maybe it's bad on our end Nope. Called my main club and they said I have been black listed because I tried to bring a non member in lmaoooo!!! How else are you suppose to bring in new members haha What a joke this owner. Not only am I going to make a point of him on here but I'm going to be calling headoffice as well. If your thinking about joking anytime, they are great but anywhere but this anytime!!!

Negative experience: After getting a call from the gym saying thank you for my review because it helped them find out that there was an issue and got it fixed. I haven’t been back, but maybe I will give it another shot and see how it goes! My first experience here was not a good one! The gym itself is a fairly nice facility, but if you expect to have a shower with hot water and decent pressure, think again! Barely lukewarm water that turned to ice not even a minute after being in there. Not to mention there was barely any pressure.... NOT impressed

Positive experience: The gym is very clean and well organized. They appear to have nice amenities such as the tanning bed and massage chairs. The changeroom/washrooms were very clean and modern. Management does not like loud noises in the gym, i.e. heavy deadlifts should be avoided. I wonder if this would have further implications for bodybuilders who grunt on heavy sets. Long story short, I'd be weary of this gym if I were a powerlifter or bodybuilder, but it's probably a great facility for your average gym goer who just wants to maintain their health.

Negative experience: Overpriced for what you get. Virtual classes are not exhilarating. What happened to real people? Had a difficult time cancelling my membership.

Positive experience: I really enjoyed the environment and all the equipment one can use. It is a very bright place, clean and staff very helpful and will go out of their way. It is a day well spent with a lot of variety and rooms to use for your exercise needs.

Fantastic experience: im saving over $250 monthly on personal training and weight loss classes cuz this AF has a separate room with equipment and a giant screen that offers virtual fitness training. i drive past 2 AFs almost daily because as far as i know this is the only one with this feature. also the only one with 6 personal washrooms with showers that are always clean.

Fantastic experience: This location is very clean and has upgraded equipment. Love the virtual training room, allows me to switch up my workouts when im bored. The staff are very friendly and professional. Washrooms all have private showers. Great location as well.

Negative experience: The poorest customer service I have ever seen. Long story short, I’ve been a member in Anytime Fitness for around 2 years, and the first visit to this really nice branch with the worst owner ever was the day before yesterday. Due to a power outage, I couldn’t use my key and their computer was off. Someone had opened the door for me, and she asked me if I’ve been working out in this gym before. I said no, then I faced the unprofessional owner. Simply he told me you cannot work out here today cause I don’t know you. He didn’t give me any solution just asked me to leave. I said “ I have been driving for 35 min to work out” then the really wise old man (owner) said “I didn’t ask you to come that far, and I had a rough day, so just leave”. After that we had a really disgraceful argument, and he called the police. The police just tried to solve the problem over the phone. At the end I wasted around 40 min in the gym for nothing, and I felt like I didn’t want to work out there and I don't want to see his face anymore.
