Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this location! The facilities are always clean, the community is friendly, and Michelle's Yoga classes are a highlight for me. I should mention that my experience signing up at my closer Anytime Fitness wasn’t great and left me feeling uncomfortable. Even though this location is a bit farther for me, it has been nothing but welcoming and positive since I joined.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice, the employees were so welcoming and the gym has absolutely everything you could ever need for any kind of great workout. Would recommend highly!!!

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness Paris for 4 years, but since this past spring, things have gone downhill. There's a member who works out barefoot and doesn't clean up afterward, leaving equipment unsanitary for others. What’s worse is that it often goes uncleaned and unstaffed for 3-4 hours at a time. I’ve reached out several times and have proof of the problem, as well as emails showing the gym's stance on the issue. Unfortunately, the manager, Christy, does not care and has done nothing to address it. If you want a clean, well-managed gym where staff actually listens to member concerns, this is not the place.

Fantastic experience: I have to say that Anytime Fitness is in a niche of its own as a boutique gym! The Paris location is exceptional in regards of cleanliness, variety of equipment & size! The Manager, Christy, from the get go was very accommodating & friendly which put me immediately at ease. No line ups for equipment here either. All Members seem friendly and and are there to workout! Love that’s it’s accessible via my smartphone 24/7 which also lets me know the approximate number in attendance at any time.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this gym and also the personal trainer Tristan. I bought a training package with Tristan, I learned so many new things from him worked out on machines that I would never have worked out my own! Thank you, Tristan and Anytime fitness

Fantastic experience: Ive started training here a week ago, and I can say as a new gym member/user the environment is top notch. The anxiety and fear I had to start immediately disappeared the moment I started, everyone just does their own thing, there's no feeling of judgement, the staff are beyond friendly, the people I have had brief chats with have all been friendly, the equipment is in good shape and clean, the bathrooms and showers are always clean, definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Very good gym if you're looking for a place to get a workout in! Mostly used the treadmills and a couple machines. Always super clean and if you went in the morning or at lunch it wasn't too busy - I never had to wait for a machine at lunch. Staff is extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. 24/7 hours meant I could go whenever I had the time and the key fob made access very easy. Also loved that it tracked my visits so I could see how often I went at the end of the month. Thanks for being a great place to work out!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since 2017 and will continue to be a member for many more years. Friendly/great staff, very clean and tremendous hours (24/7). Broken equipment is attended too and fixed in a timely manner. Can’t recommend this gym enough, especially if located in cobblestone area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Positive experience: Great staff…always friendly and helpful…very clean and not crowed most times I go and all members I’ve experienced very polite about sharing equipment…only reason didn’t get a 5 star is sometimes equipment will take sometime to get repaired !

Fantastic experience: Great facility and great staff. Both the main gym area and the change room are super clean and well maintained. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable the staff were. In particular, the gym manager Christy was very helpful in getting me set up and was very accommodating with my membership. I'd recommend this gym to beginners, novices or professionals looking for a place with good rates, flexible hours and helpful staff.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined this gym and have been thoroughly satisfied with my experience here. The gym is clean and well-maintained. The staff is also incredibly friendly, always welcoming and ready to assist whenever needed. Considering the gym's size, there is a wide selection of machines and free weights to accommodate any workout. Members are also respectful and there is little to no wait time for machines. Highly recommend !!

Negative experience: I’ve joined many gyms in the past and never heard of ‘seasonal charges’ until I joined Anytime fitness. Seems like another way they are taking your money what a scam.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for just a few months now coming from the YMCA in Brantford. Anytime is definitely a much better option for myself. This location in Paris is amazing. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming no matter if you just met them or you've been going there for years. Christy has been great ever since she started, the gym is always immaculately clean and keeping up the social media has definitely kept me engaged with ongoing promotions and challenges going on. Breyden who also came from the YMCA immediately recognized me and introduced himself and has been super friendly anytime I see him. 10/10 recommend Anytime Fitness Paris to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first workout since August and I was extremely pleasantly surprised to see the gym has returned to the clean, well-managed facility it was upon joining. If you haven’t been there since the personnel change you will be shocked at the difference.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness in Paris for approximately 5-6 years now and this gym has everything you need to get in shape. The cleanliness of the gym has been an issue in the past however the new staff there have really made the gym a clean and welcoming environment in a short period of time. I look forward to seeing what kind of ideas, improvements, classes, etc that the new staff members come up with to keep current members engaged and new members excited to join.

Negative experience: UPDATE from my previous post below: After 7 months of being wrongfully charged I have now finally been refunded the money thanks to Christy. I have increased the star rating from 1 to 2 due to Christy alone. Christy was very professional and quick turnaround time with righting these wrongs that took place prior to her working at this location. The cancelation process, being wrongfully charged and the time wasted on this is still unacceptable from any business. I hope that moving forward this will not happen to anyone else who cancels their membership in the future. ORIGINAL POST They keep charging you after you cancel and it’s the biggest hassle, even after doing all the necessary steps to cancel. This owner should be in prison. Just outright stealing money from people. Would not recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to anytime fitness for three years now and I have never had a major issue. occasionally the cleanliness was an issue but lately that seems to have really turned around. This gym is spotless and the lady that works there now is extremely friendly and never sits down, she's always working. I recommend this gym to everyone that lives in this area of Paris.

Positive experience: UPDATE Christy, the new employee has called me and worked out the problems with my account and I have since gotten my refund. However I will still air the side of caution due to this employee being the only reason things are being fixed at this gym, they deserve an incredible amount of praise and I hope they get paid well for it. ----- Don't start a membership unless you want to pay for it months after you've canceled. I fulfilled my 1 year term and have gone in person to cancel, which I was told was allowed after that 1 year and gave them my key fob since it was about a week away Since then I called a month later after I noticed I was still getting charged and was told it would be taken care of and I'd get my money back. I stopped thinking about it. This morning I noticed I didn't get my money back AND I am still being charged. I've had to email their support line directly since the actual gym has done nothing for me. If this problem gets resolved I will change my review.

Negative experience: Small gym, priced to match much larger ones. Washrooms are never maintained, with a 50/50 chance of finding a gross, clogged toilet. Looking for a new gym.

Negative experience: Worst gym I've ever attended. Never cleaned and broken equipment. The GM, Andrew is very oblivious to the fact members are trying to connect with him to cancel their membership. I cancelled back in June and I am still being charged. The staff even admitted that this is unacceptable and all falls on the GM, Andrew. I highly suggest finding another gym due to the lack of customer service and ethical practices.

Negative experience: I have been trying to cancel my membership for the last month. I've been to the gym 3 times during their staffed hours and there's never anyone here. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will be filing a complaint with the government of Ontario under the Consumer Protections Act as it is clear from these other reviews that this gym has a history of not being able to cancel. UPDATE: If anyone wants to cancel and hasn't been able to, just contact the parent company Self Esteem Brands directly as that's the only way I've been able to escalate this. These people are thieves and will only access pre-authorized debit because they know you're unable to cancel the transaction through your bank. This is why they don't accept credit card. It's only this specific location that doesn't accept credit card for the monthly fee. Save yourself the hassle, DO NOT REGISTER WITH THIS LOCATION.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a reasonable price and amazing staff. Has most of the equipment you would need in a gym and it's open 24/7. I would highly recommend you come here as it's in a nice area too.

Negative experience: My time at Anytime Fitness Paris was incredibly disappointing. The gym was consistently dirty, customer service was lacking, and I was charged even after canceling my membership. I would advise against joining this gym due to these issues.

Positive experience: Things are looking up!!!! New employee in office (Kristy) and new trainer (Brayden) finally. Place is spotless, organized and nice to be greeted with a smile when you walk in. Hats down to Kristy. Brayden is great, knows his stuff and makes sure you get a personalized heavy duty work out. 5 stars if we get classes again.

Positive experience: Nice little gym, has everything you need.. just a little pricey considering how small it is.

Negative experience: The gym itself was convenient and clean. The cancellation policy is HORRIBLE. Nobody knows what they’re doing and I am completely getting the run around. Don’t bother with this gym unless your going to be there long term otherwise you’ll be paying $60 a month for a service you cannot use because you’re moving and nobody seems to know how to cancel your membership.

Fantastic experience: UPDATED REVIEW: Since writing the first review there has been new staff that are taking care of the gym as it should be. I have been going here every weekday for a few months now. I see staff cleaning every time I am there. They are also very friendly and hardworking from what I can see. Thank you for turning this gym around into a more enjoyable place! OLD REVIEW: This gym is gross. The floors look like they haven’t been cleaned for months. There’s build up of dirt, hair and lint in many spots on them. You might as well wear your outdoor shoes. There were no floor mats at all to wipe feet on. The water fountain is disgusting it looks caked with grime all over it and the wall. Members wipe down the basic spots on the equipment which is expected but no staff actually wipes down the rest of the machines every once in a while, especially the bikes and ellipticals. You look down and see dirt, gunk, dust, hair etc I was sick of looking at it so I wiped it myself and it came up black. The wipe garbages are overflowing. I didn’t even want to look in the bathrooms. The free weights and kettle bells etc. have no spot they are just placed on the floor. There’s so much cleaning to do around the gym yet there was not any staff cleaning anything. Every time I looked in on the staff they were sitting and giggling looking at their phone. I think I will drive double the distance to keep going to the other anytime fitness in Brantford. They are really good at keeping everything clean unlike here!

Negative experience: I’d love to give this a better rating but it would be a lie. Providing an honest rating one would think that the fitness centre would act swiftly to correct any shared deficiencies. This is not the case here. The atmosphere is fine, and the convenience of the gym is the only reason I come here. Otherwise, you must know that this gym is not maintained at all. I mean at all. Equipment is filthy most days if not all the time. More members than not, do not wipe after themselves.

Negative experience: I've been sending emails to get a 7 day pass to see if this place is for me. The automatic email from Anytime Fitness is very prompt about reaching out to the location for a tour etc. However, I guess these guys and gals are email illiterate or they are not interested in new business. They can't even respond to multiple emails. When you call they are rude. I guess I know this place isn't for me.

Negative experience: I have been a member for 3m. The gym is absolutely disgusting. It is NEVER cleaned. At first it was the bathrooms, I would never use them, it’s that bad . The gym itself is absolutely gross, how can you run a gym and not practice proper cleanliness and charge the amount you charge! I am so digusted right now !

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Upon signing up, I was told that I could cancel any time I wanted and there were no penalty fees. I have been trying to cancel the membership for almost a month now. After calling several times, I was told to go see the manager in person between 10AM and 3PM. I drove there only for no manager to be present and nobody was available to take my call. Lower level staff are kind, but they have their hands tied by managers and say they are unable to process cancelations themselves. I finally had to issue a stop payment from the bank as a solution and STILL haven't had anyone follow up about the cancelation after 3+ weeks of trying. The owners and managers of this gym are either willfully scamming people, or they are so incompetent they really have no business trying to operate a gym. Buy a set of kettlebells and save yourself the headache. Do NOT sign up with Anytime in Paris unless you want to spend a few weeks of your life dedicated to canceling your membership.

Positive experience: The Paris Anytime Fitness is a great place especially if starting out and are new to it. The atmosphere is calm and encouraging. The facility is quiet clean with member wiping down the equipment after every use and the staff cleaning floors and change rooms often. There a number of members who have been going for a long time and they are very helpful as friendly. The staff is excellent, very encouraging, kind and helpful. Over all the gym is great and I would recommend it.

Negative experience: Absolutely the most disgusting gym I've ever been to. Never cleaned, washrooms are disgusting, water fountain has been broken for well over a year and sprays water everywhere, soap dispenser in one of the bathrooms was broken for at least a year before they replaced it, showers look like they've never been cleaned, outlets in the washrooms don't even work so you can't dry your hair after you shower. Almost impossible to cancel my membership since the employee doesn't like to answer the phone or respond to emails. They finally canceled my membership on 10/12 (effective immediately) after contacting the owner directly... after JUST taking payment out on 10/10. So glad I had to make that last payment only to NOT be able to use the gym, because the girl that works there didn't respond to the email I had sent the previous week asking to have my membership canceled. Crooks, ripoff, disgusting gym. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Negative experience: I am not even comfortable giving them any stars whatsoever. Fortunately, the gym is well managed, but to reach anyone to sort your fob or cancel, there is no one in sight/available.

Negative experience: This location has poor poor communication which I consider to be unprofessional. I have been trying to get a hold of them for the last 6 months to speak to someone about my membership. I have left multiple emails and voice-mails and still no response. I would not recommend this gym unless you are looking for a location that will ignore your needs as a member.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for years. Since the new manager Christi came on board I've seen some really nice changes. The gym is so much cleaner then it use to be. Staff are all very approachable. Definitely recommend this gym to anyone wanting a great equipment variety and vibe.

Fantastic experience: One of the best locations I have been to. All the staff are welcoming and generate a calm and warm environment. The offer an open concept training facility with all the fixings plus yoga, Personal Trainers and small group training to name a few. Check them out. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Wait -- this place has been open a year!?? Why didn't I know! I have been a member at a nearby Anytime and had been very dissatisfied lately....it's turned into a messy smelly crowded dump. The Paris Anytime however is what Anytime Fitness gyms are supposed to be -- bright, clean, comfortable, spacious, friendly. Thanks for renewing my commitment to Anytime!

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness is a great gym. The friendliest staff around and super clean. If you’re new to working out, there is always someone there to assist. It’s in a convenient location (off the 403). I would recommend this gym to people of every age. On weekends it’s never busy. Classes are fun and the trainers are very motivating and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Paris is probably the best gym I have ever joined. Their facility is clean, spacious, brightly lit and welcoming. The equipment is well maintained and they have a wide variety of equipment to choose from. The staff are friendly, incredibly helpful and ready to answer any questions you could possibly have. Caitlinn and Caleb really know what they are doing and they are excellent at their jobs. In terms of personal training, they have some of the best trainers around. Brittany Severs has been mine and my mom's trainer since last April and she has changed our lives for the better, helping us to get fit and healthy (she is also like my bff now). Nate Morrison is also an excellent trainer here and I have seen him make some amazing progress with his own clients. Overall this gym is awesome and I highly recommend it to anyone. Triple thumbs up!

Fantastic experience: Spending a week in Paris from out of town and wanted to maintain momentum with my training. Such an easy transition while I'm so far from home. This gym is very welcoming and getting started is very simple. Their Precore equipment is something I'm familiar with so getting into routine was easy. Their friendly staff showed me around the well maintained, clean facility and helped set me up on the TRX. I'm so happy to have access to such a great little gym while I'm on vacation.
