Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going to All Star for a few months now and she absolutely loves it. Every single one of the instructors is so amazing and extremely patient. One memory that sticks out is there was a student that was having some difficulty breaking a board during belt testing. Everyone in the room was cheering him on but he was struggling a bit. Finally, recognizing that the student was getting nervous from the attention, one of the instructors took him aside and kept working with him and encouraging him until it finally happened. To say that I am happy to have found All Star is a giant understatement. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Our sons started at All Star with summer camp 2 years ago. They loved it so much they asked me to sign them up for regular classes and they still enjoy the classes to this day. The teachers are fun and caring but also make sure the kids learn respect and discipline. It has been amazing to witness my children develop their confidence and skills, and watching the pride they have as they progress through the levels. For parents, the scheduling is super flexible, they are always happy to accommodate changes even if they are last minute (which happens sometimes!). I cannot say enough good things about All Star, we highly recommend it!

From the moment I met Master C, All Star Martial Arts have always exceeded my expectations and saved us on many occasions with your after care, PA days and summer camps. The team has created a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and part of a team. It’s a was a social club for my kids where they met their first friends when we first moved to the neighborhood, even met one of their best friends from the summer camp. My kids have learned so much about discipline and built so much confidence and personally developed under your guidance. They have learned the value of hard work and persistence as they earned their belts. In addition, the team has done so much in the community - participate in school events, sponsoring a variety of local sports - just encouraging and making sports available to kids. Overall, All Star Martial Arts has exceeded our expectations. It has provided a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for my children to grow physically, emotionally, and socially. I highly recommend it to any parent and a big thank you to the team.

Fantastic experience: Our son attended All Stars Martial Arts Summer camp for a week and came home from his first camp experience and said "I had no idea camp was so much fun". This was then followed with a request to attend camp for a longer period of time next summer. Everyday at pick up he was sharing stories of all the fun they had that day. It was a great balance of varied activities and most importantly was fun for the children. I highly recommend you try summer camp next summer if you can.

Negative experience: I like this center for training but I don’t recommend for summer camp. My daughter doesn’t like it, and they don’t have enough space for craft and lunch time. Kids have to do these things on hallway. Master Andrew was nice, but other office staff had poor communication skills.

Fantastic experience: All Star Martial Arts is truly a one-of-a-kind school full of wonderful staff who are experts of their craft, and are full of passion for Tae Kwon Do and the lifestyle of martial arts. Regardless of your age or experience, there is something here for everyone, whether it be physical fitness, mental fitness, building self confidence, etc. The adult classes can be some of the most intense, but fun group workouts anyone can experience and I highly recommend at least trying it for yourself. One of the staff members is also an RECE and a wonderful educator for children; you can confidently bring your children here and leave them knowing that they are receiving excellent attention in social development, social activity, and education in the martial arts in all of York Region.

My 9 year old son describes it as “the instructors at AllStar Martial Arts are kind and enthusiastic. I always have a great time because it’s fun and very entertaining!” Mr Andrew is always easy to get in contact with, is very flexible with class times and I love that there isn’t a 6 month to a year contract. My boys had zero interest in martial arts until trying Allstar. They both had me sign them up after their first trial class.

Master Andrew and the other teachers are strict but make every class so much fun. That makes sure my son is learning while having a great time. The trainers and coaches are as good as they come!! My 9 year old son trains here with Mr. Andrew and he is truly a fantastic trainer and educator. He has incredible patience, deadication and perseverance and my son looks up to him which is very powerful. In the short time we've been here training we have felt nothing than welcomed and made a part of a large team where every member is dedicated to the betterment of not only themselves, but of everyone they train with. Fantastic experience: My son Tyler has ADHD and a learning disability. He struggles with relationships and self confidence. I knew I wanted to try him in martial arts as I heard it could really benefit a kid like Tyler. I convinced a friend to also try with her son (some company for Tyler). We really cannot believe how great it has been for both our kids! Sensei Andrew has been patient and kind helping our kids learn the incredible art of Taekwondo in a way that is disciplined but fair! His ability to relate to children and parents is quite exceptional! Tyler is gaining confidence and strength! He is feeling better about his abilities and it is a direct result of Sensei Andrew and the All Star studio! I would recommend this to anyone! Fantastic experience: Our son has been with All Star's Master Andrew for the past year or so, and now in his summer camps. All the masters know how to handle the kids and know how to control their classes well. My son has been looking forward to his classes every week and to his summer camp days. Master Andrew are really patient with the kids during in-person classes. During this pandemic, their zoom classes had kept the kids engaged and training well even though there were no in-person classes for a while. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a Taekwondo school in the area.

After my initial correspondence with Andrew, I had a good feeling. After our first meeting, I was sold. Andrew is a kind, compassionate and sensitive instructor who takes his time to make sure my son is engaged, but also ensures that he is also learning. His experience working with people with special needs was very reassuring and he was able to adjust his teaching method to work with my son. After just a few lessons, I am beginning to see my son's confidence starting to build and he wears his uniform with a sense of pride. The establishment is always clean and all safety protocols are practiced. I would highly recommend to anyone, particularly to parents looking for a safe place for their special needs child.

My 5 years daughter and 8 years old son really like the Teakwondo classes there, very clean classroom, location is perfect, next to our regular grocery store. We used to go to after school program and now because of this special time, classes has switched to online Zoom. Overall I give it 5 star and recommend anyone who are interested to give it a try.

My kids listen to him very well and they never want to leave the classes. He offers all sorts of camps from summer, March break, PA Days and does after school programs. Fantastic experience: Great addition to the All Star family with a beautiful new facility In Newmarket, run by one of their best all around instructors (though to be fair almost all their staff are amazing - that's what makes All Star such and inviting and friendly space). Between Muay Thai and Taekwondo - father, son and daughter have made this place our second home, a place to get in shape, stay fit or in case of the kids even competing in local and international tournaments. Another (un-)intended side effect of the great staff is the sense of community created by All Star - not only meeting like-minded people and creating a circle of friends for the kids, but older kids actually looking out for the younger ones at school and helping them out!
