Positive experience: Great for if you want to just lift some weights.

Fantastic experience: Exactly what I need it to be. I really wish they’d trade the smith for a second squat rack, when it’s busy is busy. And no one really needs a smith machine.

Fantastic experience: It’s a small location but usually not too full with a good selection of machines and free weights; you can get in where you need.

Fantastic experience: As a recent regular, the Y downtown has a great, friendly, knowledgeable staff, ready to assist. The facility is clean. Always has hot water for showers- provides locks for the lockers- Towels available for a small fee. Classes for varying abilities Reasonably priced

Positive experience: Short staffed, so limited programs, otherwise great. Staff is enthusiastic, helpful, and knowledgeable. One small room for spin classes and a slightly bigger room for all other classes. Exercise equipment appears to be in good shape.

Fantastic experience: It served its purpose while we were visiting for the week! Good little gym with enough weight for a solid workout. Day rates were helpful, I think it was 10-12 dollars for a drop in.

Negative experience: It’s tiny and has 10% of what a regular YMCA has for the same price. There are better gyms within walking distance of downtown for the same price. Don’t bother; it’s for the geriatric.

Positive experience: This is a baby boomer gym. As a result spacial awareness is at an all-time low and booster shots are at an all-time high. No heat bags which is nice, for the time being.

Fantastic experience: Went there a few times during our vacation for a day pass. Reasonable daily price of $10/person. Very clean studio, friendly staff, and all the equipment you could possibly need. Highly recommend

Positive experience: Decent facility for fitness needs. Staff are nice but some seem sad and lethargic most of the time. As to clients, not a single person has smiled at me or made any positive or friendly comments.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The gym is a good size - not too intimidating but not too small either. I enjoy coming here and that says a lot coming from someone with extreme gym anxiety. Daniel has helped loads with learning/trying new exercises and when he isn't working the other employees have stepped in and helped me out, thanks!!

Fantastic experience: Been to a few gyms and this is the best one I’ve been to. From the staff to the equipment and facility, everything is top notch. If I didn’t have to move, I would have stayed for as long as my body can carry me.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate this Y is very clean, doesn’t play music (most people have their own earbuds), and has established safe and smart cleaning procedures. Change rooms are large and have many lockers. The staff is also extremely kind and helpful. It’s never too busy, and the facility has all the machines and cardio for a complete workout! I’ve been going here for years and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: I love going to this gym! It's in a great spot, the staff are super friendly and helpful, it has a good selection of new, well maintained equipment and its super clean! Their pandemic protocols make sense, are enforced, and the staff make a clear effort to maintain sanitation and social distancing standards. I feel as safe as one can get at a gym during these times!

Positive experience: I was in Kelowna for a day and wanted to have a workout. The YMCA seemed like a great option. Decent drop-in rates. Concierge were very attentive and nice. The fitness centre is very clean and equipment is new! I really enjoyed the ease and hassle free experience of having a quick drop-in workout - from a visitors perspective!

Fantastic experience: Super clean, new equipment and great staff! A 'regular people' gym, not full of juiceheads trying to show off how much they can lift and monopolizing the equipment. Hit up Kristi's yoga class if you get a chance, she's awesome!

Positive experience: Would be perfect if the gym was open later 11 pm or at least 10 pm would be more realistic to be in a city this size

Fantastic experience: Great gym with friendly staff. Was able to get the student deal price as I'm here for school so was pretty happy with the pricing. They have pretty good equipment and keep the place pretty clean. The treadmills have TVs so you can watch and can also hook up to netflix. They have a squat rack. They only have one cable machine with two cables but generally it isn't crazy busy.

Positive experience: Small gym with most of the equipment you would want. Generally has everything available during peak hours. Price is a bit steep for what you get but the location is good.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, brand new equipment, helpful staff. This gym gives you everything you need, classes are also included in the membership and the membership is good at YMCA gyms across Canada. I hve just started at this gym and I have no complaints, I would recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to work out! I workout in downtown Calgary at a very expensive place, and the staff and equipment at the YMCA Kelowna downtown is much much better! I would highly recommend working out here, especially if you're staying at a hotel in downtown. The inexpensive $10 drop-in fee is nominal for the excelleny service you get from the staff!

Positive experience: If you live downtown then this is the gym to choose. It is however pretty small and although the equipment they do have is in excellent shape, there are a few missing standards. No leg press. No calf raise. Limited abs equipment. Rectify those 3 things and get the missing star.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Lots of great equipment, everything is new and clean. Staff is nice and helpful. They also have great classes, I especially recommend yoga and intense intervals. The space is quite small, so when it's busy it feels a bit crowded. But mornings, early afternoons and weekends it's usually fine.

Fantastic experience: I just love this place all of the staff are super friendly and will help you out at a moments notice. Its is always so bright and clean inside and I always feel welcome. Not to mention all the bran-spakin-new equipment! Highly recommend by me =]
