Positive experience: Gym equipment is good, and you won't find a better price. Not sure how the female facilities are but the men's changeroom is completely inadequate. Only one restroom stall in the change room, no mirrors, no open wash stations, and no showers, which means if you work construction, you can't really hit the gym after work without going home to shower.

Negative experience: I previously left an okay reveiw but I won't be coming here again because of the morning manager, she is rude and think she's owns the place, since when does the manager do the vacuuming.. get your stuff together. Seriously bad attitude

Negative experience: Fortunately I read the reviews because I make my decisions based on that. I read the reviews and some clients canceled their contracts but the Gym continues charging them, also I read several that were not treated well, they even got yelled at, how scary! Not without mention that the qualification is very low 3.7. I called this morning and you have to sign a mandatory contract and enter your credit card. The person answered does not seem friendly at all, I imagine that what they say is true, that they protect the employees, which is not bad, but in the majority of cases seen, they do not give them customer service training. I preferred not to register at this Gym. I liked it but I want to enjoy my time and not get a nightmere experience at the Gym that I choose.

Negative experience: Great place, clean and friendly staff. My family and I were going to switch to Fit4less however they don't have a squat rack!! That's crazy given the size and breadth of this gym. If they had a proper squat rack we would have switched

Positive experience: I like it because it is inexpensive and very close to my home. Having the tanning to prep for vacation is great and I like the hydra-massage. It's unfortunate that the price shows in some stuff not working well. Eg. The circuit tv's, the spin's virtual class, so the bikes just sit there. The staff is really friendly and the keep the place really clean. There could just be a little more done for the experience

Fantastic experience: Equipment is cleaned daily, as well as massage chairs/tanning beds/hydro bed! Great gym to start your fitness journey - lots of machines and weights up to 75lbs. The best thing about this location is the staff! Emily has been along with me for my fitness journey for the past five years! She's an exception staff member ensuring all work is done and each gym member is happy. Jada and Mireya both are a delight to see. Always cheerful and happy to be at work and very responsible.

Negative experience: I have been going here for the last two years. There are some staff members that are the reason that I have loved this gym, but a couple of staff that have ruined this gym for me and the reason I have left. Management has supported these employee's horrible behaviour and have left their loyal patrons to the waist side. I have left this gym on principle alone and know others will follow if this is the type of professionalism they provide.

Negative experience: After getting yelled at by the older lady staff with the black glasses in the front today, I decided to leave a review. Not surprised how many people actually complained about her in these reviews. All the other gyms I have been to, allow a first timer to try out their gym on their very first visit. Which is an awesome way to promote their service and get memberships. I brought a friend today to do just that. He wanted to check out the gym. Since he’s on disability, he wanted to check it out and apply for a gym pass with the government. As soon as we walked in, because I didn’t beep my card on the outside of the front ( I have a membership just forgot it at home today) and he just followed me in. We immediately got yelled at by the older lady staff! Even though we just stopped at the front desk so I can explain the situation. “You guys can’t just walk in! He can’t be here because he’s not a member! If he wants to come in he need to buy a day pass or buy a membership now! “ at the top of her lungs. The whole gym looked at us. It was just straight embarrassing! Yelled at us like we were stealing from her. I tried to explained to her on what is going on. I have a pass here and wanted my friend to come checkout the gym because I had told him how good this gym was. I have seen many posts here in regards to her condescending comments. This is exactly what we felt today. We immediately walked out because how angry we were. My friend is ended up having to take the bus home since I drove. He didn’t want me to miss my workout because of this. Last time I will bring anyone to tryout this gym. They just lost potential memberships. Even if I had to pay for more somewhere else, I rather go there after this month. This experience forever tainted the whole experience. Left the gym after about 20mins because of the poor experience. Just didn’t really feel like working out here anymore. Now I just hope the actually cancel my membership, not like the other reviews I see here, where they still keep on charging even after someone had canceled their membership.

Negative experience: Worked out at this gym for years. I have now cancelled my membership several months ago because of poor customer service. I understand you're trying to enforce the covid mask rules but there's a certain way to go about it. Poor experience with the older ladies at the gym. The lady raised her voice, showing no empathy or care. Very condescending and rude. You don't talk to people like that! Will not recommend this gym. Power tripping staff.

Negative experience: Honestly I loved this place when I first started up and came here frequently as it is cheap, small and I found it clean and had everything I wanted. I decided to come in today after not being there for a while due to covid for a work out and a tan. It was my first time tanning in a long time. The guy who helped me was too busy chatting up life with the other girls to get me in, finally "sanitized" the tanning booth which was basically spray the ground and not wipe (less than 15 seconds including walking to the tanning booth). My fault, I should have known better. Instead I stood in a puddle of chemicals just to get a bit of color. Oh and by color I mean he decided to put me in for 10 minutes on my first time. I let myself out after 5 minutes. Pretty sure someone with my score doesn't go in 10 minutes for their first time after not having gone in over a year. I have been tanning many times before and that was not right at all. I left and not planning to be back unless the employees start actually caring.

Negative experience: I’ve cancelled my membership as I’ve had several rude and unprofessional interactions with a older female member of the staff and I feel uncomfortable going in anymore. I understand there are Covid protocols which I always do my best to adhere to but it seems VERY unreasonable to be told I would need to leave for my mask slipping slightly down the bridge of my nose (my face was not uncovered the bridge of the nose was just exposed for a second before I had a chance to fix it.) I’ve also been yelled at while working out, berated and told to get out for forgetting my card. There’s enforcing rules for safety but this is blatant power tripping and unprofessional behaviour. My fiancé also goes here and he has never been treated that way so I feel like maybe I’m targeted as another women who she thinks she can bully. Save yourself the stress of some gym employee taking her anger out on you and go someplace else.

Negative experience: Continued poor interactions with a female staff member lead to my fiancé and I cancelling our membership. Staff member is regularly condescending to my fiancé and is clearly on a power trip. Please visit another gym for a more pleasant workout experience.

Positive experience: not my usual Fit4less, off the main floor of a large grocery store. I was impressed with the space/machine ratio. Loved the open floor plan plus the range of equipment. Carrying around my person spray bottle (spray before and after) additional safety made my workout slower. Staff here is literally cleaning every 10 min. Good experience

Negative experience: I called in and canceled my membership when pandamic started. I just checked my account they are still charging me for it. I have been calling the location they never seem to be picking up their phone. I want all my money back that they charged me and want them to stop it. How hard it is to stop a membership.

Negative experience: Dissapointing treatment from staff (morning Jan 21st, 2020). As I entered the gym (obviously wearing headphones) a staff memeber began yelling for my attention and waving while they were working out on an elliptical. I had no idea I was being called for from across the gym (as I stated I had headphones on). I remove my headphones and the staff member continues yelling something at me which I cannot hear as they are across the room. She finally steps off her elliptical (shame that her job had to interupt her workout..) and she comes to ask me in a condecending tone as if I was a kindergartener if I was wearing my indoor shoes. Now I have no issue with staff enforcing policy. However, if there is an issue with my footwear it can be discussed with me privately and in a more respectful manner rather than publicly yelling at me and trying to shame me in front of other gym patrons. Be an adult.. Pause your workout.. Step off your elliptical and come speak to me with some professional conduct. I would have assumed a grown woman would have more tact. In addition, staff only enforce the no outdoor shoe policy randomly and seems to be based on how they feel about the individual or how motivated they are to do their job at any given time. Been going here regularly for 2 years and have never once seen staff enforce the policy and I've seen people working out in timberland boots and jeans.. So? Sure there's a sign but 90% of people pay no attention to it. I understand this is a budget gym but there's no need for budget behavior from staff.

Negative experience: I really wish this place would offer free trials other than the last Thursday of every month. Also be great if there was a location in Maple Ridge that was 24 hours.

Positive experience: Fix your damn benches and lose the 'no outdoor shoes' signage, nobody is following that idiotic rule. It's a gym, get someone to mop the place or something if it's that big a deal. The staff just walk around wiping windowsills all day anyway. Decent gym overall. Not many meatheads. Doesn't stink like the local powerlifter gym (ultimate fitness or something?). Seems to be totally random whether it's busy or not. Better than club 16 by a furlong I can't recommend it though, because I don't want it to get busier. Don't come here please

Negative experience: Switched to fit4less last week, tonight was my first night coming for a workout. It was great a first, lots of machines open and it seemed nice and clean. I chose to sign up for the $10.99 membership because of the fact I could end my workout with a massage. I was really looking forward to that part of my night but when the time came I couldn’t find an employee... anywhere ! I looked all over, I paged them repeatedly and then finally gave up. The fact that she just left during her shift really pissed me off. I will definitely be complaining next time I go.

Positive experience: The price and hours for this gym are really hard to beat. You can get a membership for under $20 a month and its open from 8am to 11pm which makes it pretty flexible. It doesn't quite have all the bells and whistles that some of the more expensive gyms have but the equipment they have is excellent and well maintained.

Positive experience: This is my gym, it has everything you need for your workout. People here are very respectful plus membership is easy and inexpensive however, they don't have showers and their 7am-11pm hours are restrictive for some.

Negative experience: I've been there twice to find out information about the gym. The front desk clerk was the same each time, annoyed look on her face, kind of pushy and not friendly. Just for that reason alone, I'm not interested in being there. The management needs to look carefully at who they are choosing to represent their company. Super bad choise.

Negative experience: I cancelled my gym membership way back in February when it was still GoodLife and got the confirmation email and everything, but they started taking my membership out under a new name "fit4less" I will give them this they were friendly and apologetic but that is unacceptable if I cancel a membership there is no reason to continue to take money out of my account.

Negative experience: If I could also give ZERO stars I would. I signed up a few months ago for a WOMEN'S only gym with zero heads up about the change over to fit4less and becoming COED. Impossible to get in touch with any **competent** human being to discuss a refund since I paid in advance. No one knows what is going on, the front desk staff is useless and this change has screwed over many loyal, long term customers. Don't waste your time with this establishment. Go ahead and try to contact the corporate office for complaints, they are also a joke.

Negative experience: My mom tried cancelling her membership and they make it extremenly difficult by only being able to call the head office to actually cancel it. This process has been going on for ONE MONTH and they keep billing her even though she has tried to discontinue it . Terrible service, extremely disappointed

Negative experience: The gym is going through a takeover where they basically fired off all of the staff... well maybe they didn't fire them but they cancelled all classes, stopped personal training services (so employees are jobless) and are taking a women's only and changing it into coed.... way to blow it big time Goodlife!! You've lost a lot of loyal customers!! People were walking out and canceling memberships instead of working out. When the gym goes under completely don't be surprised. Don't waste your time with Goodlife Pitt Meadows there are plenty of gyms out there!!

Negative experience: Poor customer service from management. - lack of urgency - no follow up or call backs on issues/questions Poor customer service from Head office/Corporate - poor communication and knowledge between corporate/billing/personal training department and the gym management and team. Overall a clean gym, and the trainers are nice, but kind of a toss up on under qualified and qualified individuals. After being with them for at least 3 years, I decided to end my membership due to the lack of importance put on existing members. ie. not returning 4 calls with me leaving my number for management, and having poor attitude given to me from the corporate end. For being a pricier gym, I would have expected higher quality customer service.
