Fantastic experience: Brampton Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I came by for an all females class to get more experience grappling with women as where I train is all males. It was a wonderful experience and I'd recommend checking it out it to anyone in the area. :)

Fantastic experience: Very friendly, family oriented and clean establishment. The kids program has instructors for each level of skill so the students are grouped together in an even manner. The mats have a lot of space so there is room for the students to open up and practice. The sideline has lots of benches for the parents to sit and watch their children learn from great coaches and it’s CLEAN! The hygiene once you enter the training area makes you feel comfortable about your children’s safety. I have been to other establishments and this one is impressive.

They take the time to teach the small details and will come around and make corrections when you are drilling to ensure you are learning the techniques. It’s a perfect combination of fundamentals and drilling. Higher belts will also roll with you and allow you to work on your techniques and provide tips while rolling! If you are looking for a safe space to train where people aren’t trying to hurt you, this is the club for you!

Fantastic experience: From start to finish this is a great gym to train. From the responses to emails when I was inquiring about classes to how they greeted me at the door. All members showed respect and courtesy to my son and I. The training was great too. Warm ups then drills then rolls. Plenty of people to pick from and all incredibly technical. Which makes sense since the drilling was thorough. The mats were clean and the culture was welcoming! So grateful for the class and all its members.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Brampton BJJ for a year now and it has been an awesome experience! My partner has been trying to get me to do it for a long time and I was always hesitant. I went in for a free trial session and not only was the professor and everyone at the club so welcoming, there is a large group of women who train daily so it wasn’t so intimidating. If my schedule would allow it I would be there for every class. Every class you learn something new and you always get a great workout in! Professor Andrew is always willing to help and guide me when I am unsure of something. Although I’m not the best, I am a better me. Highly highly recommend joining this gym!

This club provides classes to all levels of students ranging from your everyday average joe to your committed athlete. This club also has a welcoming atmosphere for kids and women. I would recommend this club to anyone that wants to try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wants to do it in a place with an amazing community!

Fantastic experience: I have been training at Brampton BJJ for 4 years. I have experienced the gym through the lens of pandemic restrictions and fully open and I can tell you with certainty - this is a place worth spending your time. During the lockdowns - memberships were paused, but recognizing the importance of this physical and mental activity for the patrons of the gym, Andrew and the team (Davina and Shaun) kept zoom workouts going to keep us connected and in shape. Since opening again fully, the gym has not missed a step. The membership is thriving and if you are a brand new white belt starting, you have an incredible learning environment with a positive and supportive culture to develop this incredible skill set in. If you are a colored belt with years of experience, there are international podium placing competitors in the gym to learn and develop with. If I could rate the gym 6/5 I would, but I'll settle for 5/5. If you're considering trying BJJ or looking for a new gym - you've found it!

I'm very impressed with how well Professor Andrew manages the culture in the club. There is a heavy focus on staying safe, injury free and being respectful. The general lack of ego in the culture makes this a great family club with the best kids program I've ever seen.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this gym. The instructors are awesome. They do a good job of setting a non-judgemental, we are all here to learn, positivity only kind of vibe. In turn, the students follow suit and that positive vibe gets amplified. The result is a great atmosphere, where people slap hands, roll, and at the end thank each other and hug. It’s beautiful! I went in there to better myself physically, but am now part of a awesome not so little family. I will be a member for many years to come. If you’re new to BJJ, it’s the perfect gym to try out. There is no “I’m the next ufc sensation” types there, and you will roll with people who will take care of you. They want to keep you coming back. They understand the anxiety of walking into one of these gyms and will work with you until you start to feel comfortable. Try it out, with the free trial you have nothing to lose, but so much to gain.

Professor Andrew and Jake are high class instructors. Coach Jason, Shaun and Devina are also top notch coaches. Keep showing up and you'll never regret joining!
