Positive experience: The gym is quite compact. But not bad overall

Negative experience: Don’t join !!!! They only allow you to shower during staff hours Not 24 hours.

Negative experience: I used to love this location but sadly switched to Bedford because of the intense stench and lack of cleanliness. Besides that the staff there are super friendly and accommodating.

Negative experience: More like Fit4More.

Positive experience: Great staff and atmosphere—the only thing keeping this review from five stars is the need for a bit more equipment.

Fantastic experience: I find it neat and clear all the time

Fantastic experience: It was my first day in this gym. I'm super happy about the customers we have in this gym. I was trying to scan my barcode that I received on my email, and a gentleman from inside guided me about what I could do to enter inside. It was super helpful when even after tapping my card, I couldn't enter inside as I entered the wrong way, and the tap would work only after 30 minutes after that. He opened the emergency door for me to let me inside. Feb. 18th 2k24 ✌ May God bless him

Fantastic experience: I would like to give a pat on the back to the morning host at this location, he is outstanding. he's always showing up early for his morning shifts and greets each and every member that comes in. I have been coming here for several years and I always feel welcomed when I see the host in the morning. this host is always here by himself in the morning but it does not stop him from multitasking between cleaning/maintaining the gym, greeting members and dealing with any concerns that may go on. everyone should check out this location and see how great this facility is!

Negative experience: I won’t give even 1 star to this facility…. Worst atmosphere if you are guy with turban .. you will be bullied and humiliated and if you report they just do “educational piece of information with guy” lol.. won’t take any strict action .. been going this location like over 1 year .. recently abused and bullied by guy … reported the incident number of times to manager who explained you will be getting call back from my superior but didnot happen .. so I called back n asked for any action but nothing .. on the opposite , I revoked my subscription myself as this facility is not safe at all for different culture . Personally I think , I was tortured mentally like for 2 weeks as of bullying and thought fair decision will come out but ig if you have different skin color then won’t be treated fairly So , I request all guys wearing turban please either watch out yourself doing work out when you at this facility or stop going .My other couple of friends feel the same but they scare of coming front n talk , just letting it go .idk when those poor guys gonna face big issue cuz of humiliation as everybody has temper and you can let it go couple of times but not every time . I am adding this new after fit4less owner commented on this one … I wanna say if you really wanna do something for me please investigate This matter .. call your lower sackville branch and ask them what really happened , why this customer posted this comment , why you guys let him go and charged for whole month , why you guys didnot take strict action ,

Negative experience: To continue on what a few others have said below me. I am there 4-5 days a week usually early mornings. I have voiced concerns multiple times about the showers not being cleaned. There was a bandaid and a huge hairball in the same shower for over a week until I finally said something to the staff member. He said that they were cleaned at least a few times a week and that is clearly not true. Upon my visit this morning at 530 am and only like 10-15 people in the club, I had to wait for a treadmill. That’s right. 13 treadmills and only 5 in working order. On top of many other machines in disrepair. I understand this is a cheaper alternative to GoodLife. But come on man. An hour or two a day of cleaning duties and maintenance and this place could be so much better.

Negative experience: Holy Bedford Staff! Could you be anymore cranky? Kim the Bedford manager publicly voiced infront of the staff/members last week, that the gym was terribly run and she was gonna fix it up! Her talk town to the staff mannerisms/mambers is horrific! PLEASE REOPEN BEDFORD SOON!

Negative experience: This location puts the LESS in fit4less. I’ve been here early in the morning for about a year now. The club is often filthy with messes being left for DAYS. There was blood on the floor in the male washroom for a few days and candy all over the floor of one of the change rooms for over a week. The equipment has almost ZERO preventative maintenance done. There are often loose screws and loose safety pins on the machines. The EZ curl bar is literally falling apart and could easily be replaced or even just tightened with an Allan key… when a machine does inevitably break and an out of order sign goes on it.. don’t hold your breath for it to be repaired quickly. On top of that, the turn style to get in during unstaffed hours has malfunctioned multiple times locking myself and many other club patrons out for 30 minutes. (On one occasion I took too long to walk through and the gate disengaged. 100% my fault) With just a little maintenance, cleaning and TLC this facility could be pretty good but as of right now the LESS is being emphasized. The free weight area is small but has enough to get a basic workout done. They were also quick to respond to the water damage after the area flooded recently.

Positive experience: With my usual Fit4Less in Bedford being closed, I went to this location in Lower Sackville today. I did find most of what I was looking for, I couldn't find the place to do the cable rope seated high row. Also, the 2 places to do the wide grip lateral pulldown (which are side by side) are very hard to reach for someone short like me. Perhaps one of these could be adjusted for shorter people. I was pleasantly surprised to find this gym manned today (since it is the weekend). There seems to be problem keeping the alcohol stocked in the spray bottles, having paper towel in the holders, and having the bottles actually spray.

Positive experience: gym was good quality equipment for the price. line ups for certain equipment though

Positive experience: I truly enjoy the gym. I find the locations small with incomplete gym setup for all except Portlandst location.... example, kettlebells, etc. Overall, I'm happy I just have to see how I can schedule around busy times when I can't get even one machine.

Positive experience: Friendly staff but the cleanliness has gone down recently with the bathrooms always being dirty, garbage laying around and paper towel and sanitizer frequently being empty

Positive experience: Sackville location is never busy. Staff is helpful.

Negative experience: Caveats first... equipment is all fine, things are kept clean, things aren't broken often what staff are there seem to have a good rapport with the clients...if you're there during staff hours. I'm not a new years resolution tourist, I just switched to fit4less as its closer than my regular gym since I live out in east hants. its very hard to explain effectively how frustrating it is to get a membership to a 24/7 gym, get up at 4am so you can drive 45 minutes from the rural country where you live to show up to a paper sign on the door saying they are closed until staff get there at 7... the benefit of this place is that there is no staff after hours its just open to clients so there are less costs and less hiccups... there's two separate card scanners to get in can't see them both being down.. and no working crew inside doing any maintenance work or updates.. no explanation on the sign to help a frustrated member understand.. and i'm not at the gym during staffed hours for a slap dash word of mouth notification I checked my emails and nothing sent to the membership, that would have been appreciated, it's not like they don't have my email my inbox is choked with sales trash from them over the years... now I'm just mulling around an empty and closed lower sackville aimlessly, live too far to go home, can't go to work yet.. what do I do? I'll just get a coffee and doughnut instead of my health routine.. I should have accepted for 20$ a month it would be a bit of a hodgepodge. I'll take responsibility for my own frustration I guess.

Fantastic experience: I only called the gym but she was friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Clowns take money out whenever they want, a day before or a day after scheduled payment, even amounts that they make up, and have no agreement for, what a joke gym.

Positive experience: Good equipment but bought the black card which has "unlimited Hydromassage,Tanning,chair massage" however this is ONLY DURING STAFFED HOURS! not staffed till 6 am weekdays(I leave for work by 6, and not staffed till 8!!! On weekends. I prefer to workout overnight and early mornings and I pay the same as everyone else with a black card,you can't even SHOWER during unstaffedhours!?...Why can I not enjoy the same privileges!? Kind of BS.

Positive experience: It’s a small gym, but not bad for what it is and what you pay. The staff are very friendly as well. Some things I don’t like about this gym: It lacks some equipment, and are often very slow to repair machines when they break. The showers are never clean, and not maintained well at all. The showers smell musty. The floors and walls are dirty and covered in hair. I have noticed the same face cloth and chunk of soap laying on the floor in one room for at least 2 weeks now.

Negative experience: Terrible, wanted 27 dollara to let me shower no free trials

Positive experience: Been coming here since Nov. Great staff and clean. However repairs to all equipment takes weeks even months. 3 treadmills down since b4 xmas. Hydro beds have been not working more than they have. Broken exercise equip waiting weeks on repair. Staff is awesome!

Positive experience: If you need a nap or a shower, this is the place to be in the wee hours. Nobody is really there past 11pm-6am. VERY COMFY MASSAGE CHAIRS. you will fall asleep after 20m in it. They won't wake you up either lol

Positive experience: Very small gym. Seems to be tailored more to cardio, very small free weight section. Squat racks are assisted.

Positive experience: Basic setup huge space. If you are learning you should go somewhere else till you know what you are doing... And you who thinks they KNOW.... You don't.... Learn first.

She has always done so with a smile. They keep it very clean and friendly. I honestly believe Tanya is increadable and deserves to be recognized for her increadable customer service. Negative experience: The massage beds are excellent, however they are NEVER WORKING PROPERLY AND MANAGEMENT DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE TO ADDRESS THIS. Just because the beds are functioning, doesn't mean they are working correctly. I use these beds for anxiety and stress and the casual 'who cares' attitude from MANAGEMENT is not only insulting, it's downright rude. Get a technician that knows what the hell they're doing and getcha beds fixed!
