Negative experience: Hello, I am at the Niagara Falls location. You are supposed to be staffed at 7am. I have been here working out since before 7, and went to have my shower at 7:30. There is no staff and the water in showers not working. So now I am all sweaty and have to go to work like this. I am not impressed. Just signed up a few weeks ago and ready to quit.

Fantastic experience: I just left at around 8:30 PM, November 21, 2024. I was having trouble with my card letting me into the gym. My card worked on the Black Card weight room door and on the hydro massage table, but wouldn't work on the main entrance door. The guy who was working tonight was nice and super helpful and set me up with a new card before I left the gym. Whoever he is - he is doing a really good job for you and has great people skills.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting gym! Filth and neglect everywhere. Members walk barefoot, spreading dirt and germs on equipment. Broken machines sit idle for months. No cleaning staff in sight. Unacceptable conditions for paying customers. Cleanliness and maintenance are clearly afterthoughts here. Avoid this gym. **** My response to Fit4Less Generic Response to Nehatuve Reviews*** It's disappointing, but not surprising, to see the same generic response that doesn't address my specific concerns. Instead of taking ownership and apologizing for the subpar cleanliness and disregard for member health, you're redirecting me to DM on social media. This response template might be convenient, but it shows a lack of genuine concern for customer experience. I've already shared my issues publicly, and it's your opportunity to demonstrate accountability and commitment to improvement. To truly show customer care, I expect: 1. A direct apology for the cleanliness issues. 2. Concrete actions to address shoeless members spreading germs. 3. Provide evidence of enhanced cleaning protocols. Until then, I stand by my review. Genuine customer service requires more than a copy-paste response. You should try to demonstrate a real commitment to improvement.

Positive experience: Please tell the staff to fill up soaps, paper towels etc. before leaving. It was one hour into the unstaffed hours and there were empty soap dispensers, napkin dispensers.
Negative experience: They don’t fix their machines It has be more than two months they have not fixed the smith machine and most importantly their stair climber. They have only 4 stair climber machines and none of them works.

Fantastic experience: Honestly great value for the price you pay. I pay for just the regular membership but I am impressed by the amount of space, cleanliness, and variety of machines offered. The locker room is spacious clean, and the showers are fine. There's also a separate workout area and extra amenities like tanning for premium members.

Positive experience: Fit4Less is a good place to workout but not for me :( Although, they have lots of space, a personal area for heavy lifting, personal training, massage chairs but personally due to lack of proper lighting (in my personal perspective), dark theme, low ceiling, I can easily feel suffocated with more humidity. But they have this really good prices and if you and your friend or partner plan to go to gym at separate times then just ONE subscription is enough. That’s a really good perk of Fit4Less.

Negative experience: The gym smells like a giant armpit. This is not due to a lack of cleanliness. It's just the crowd. The amount of stench in this place is actually repulsing and makes working out so unpleasant. If you don't upgrade to the more expensive membership, you have a limited amount of equipment in a giant empty space. There are always teenaged kids in the gym who have no ethics and sit around on the machines and play on their phones and waste a lot of time. Now if you do upgrade to the more expensive membership, there is more space to use which is just full of more kids sitting on the machines scrolling social media and wasting time to make sure nobody gets to use the machines. If you can get to another gym, I would highly recommend it. I only go to this gym when I'm in a pinch. I will say, the staff at this place are friendly and accommodating. Other than that, there is nothing I like about this gym.

Negative experience: Membership- 812001100 I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the process of cancelling my gym membership,despite multiple attempts to cancel my membership via email,(first email on 18th Soptember 2022) my bank account continues to be charged. I have made every effort to follow the cancellation procedures outlined by your staff, but the lack of response and continued billing indicate a serious oversight in your system. This ongoing inconvenience has not only resulted in financial strain but has also undermined my confidence in the professionalism and integrity of your establishment. I demand immediate action to rectify this situation. I expect a prompt response confirming the cancellation of my membership and a refund for any unauthorized charges incurred after my initial cancellation request. Negative experience: Cancelling the subscription is so difficult and they charged me 30$ for no reason i met with a car accident and told them to cancel the subscription but still she charged me 3 times and didnt told me that i was not having enough money and my bank overdrafted and thats how i end up paying 20$ in overdraft interest thats the most painful thing ever happened to me in canada one the worst place ever i will never recommend it to everyone and will make sure i have atleast 10 1 star reviews so that these guys should focus on there customer Service and tell the customers about the proper information

Negative experience: Just joined this gym last weekend and already wished I hadn't. First off..don't forget anything in your car or you'll end up waiting half a hr to get back in as the door swipe only works once ever half hr??? Wierd but Ok ..not that bad. Went and finished my workout with the decent selection of equipment. Then came time to wrap it up and take a shower....but wait..they turn the water off during "unstaffed" hrs?? What kind of gym doesn't let their patrons use the showers...black card or not. Wished someone told me this on the tour..Now stuck with a membership I don't want to use.
Positive experience: Nice and friendly staff. But these gym members need to stop recording at the gym while working out. Recording and videos should be banned in all gym facilities. It's simply violating other members privacy. Hospitals and other facilities prohibit people from taking photos or recording video. Please put a sign that says video recording is prohibited. Also, the new employee in the morning shift seems to be lazy and do nothing. She doesnt check if paper towel dispensers are full, nor check and refills empty spray bottles. The previous staff was better.

Negative experience: There was a guy yesterday Monday March 11 2024 at around 7:50 pm , posing almost naked in the stretching room in front of the mirror, he was wearing only his underwear, and a member of the gym staff , a young guy was inside that room taking pictures of the naked man , there was a young girl exercising in that room, she had to come out of the room, she must have felt embarrassed by the situation. I don’t know how the managers allow this to happen. I think they must conduct an investigation into this matter.

Negative experience: Very, very rude front desk team member with a whole lot of attitude on Wednesday March 6, 7 am. (Being specific so that the owner can look to train this poor representation of the gym) happy to chat about my experience with the manager. She was very, very rude, no customer service, felt more like a vagrant than a paying customer.

Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing. I usually go to and have been using the Stoney Creek fit 4 Less for months whenever my visit my friend and recently upgraded my black card for the Niagara gym where I live. I was amazed on how better this location is. This gym is way cleaner, I see the staff cleaning and changing the paper towel machines, and the washrooms/ change room are always clean. Also this location was a water bottle refill and showers. All of the machines are actually working too, Stoney Creek has so many broken machines that never seem to get fixed. The black room is huge too btw, makes a black card actually worth it, I’m used to the tiny black room in Stoney Creek that only has 2 machines lol.

Fantastic experience: This gym is great. Lots of equipment and machines. The machines are a bit dated compared to other fit4less locations, but also have greater weight ranges which makes them much more practical. The amount of equipment and space is superior to the half a dozen other fit4less locations I've been to. I consider myself very lucky to call this location my home gym.

Fantastic experience: I use the gym in the early morning. Card access is simple. Its terrific. Lots of equipment and never that busy at this time of day. Best deal in town for the ammenities you get. The employees that arrive at 7am...specifically Alex on weekdays is top notch. She is on time and is very pleasant. Great working ethic. It makes a difference in life when you witness this kind of attitude. It should be recognized. People like her create the positive experience. We need more of her in this world. Negative experience: I worked out at this gym for a good 2 years. I had a few issues where I’d forget to bring my card however on this last occasion I went with the intention of biting the bullet and paying the 20$ for the card and realized I forgot my wallet and didn’t have Apple Pay on my new phone to buy one. I explained to the new manager at the front that my card was in my old phone that had been stolen and that it wasn’t lost, simply stolen from me yet I wasn’t allowed to workout at the gym I pay for because I didn’t have my card. New manager was extremely rude and arrogant, I immediately cancelled my membership afterwards as I have another gym.

Fantastic experience: Awesome and affordable all-in-one gym. The first thing that drew me to this gym was its pricing options. I would say that it is the cheapest (or among the cheapest) gym membership options in this area, offering $7.99 (basic) or $11.99 (premium) bi-weekly memberships. Starting your membership also comes with a $50 activation fee which is recharged every year. Compared to other gyms, this is one of the only ones that provides good pricing without a one-year or something agreement attached to it, plus no stupid hidden fees. Despite the affordability of both options, you don't compromise on any part of the experience. The facility and change rooms are clean, you have a great variety of equipment to use, the gender ratio is relatively balanced, and the overall atmosphere is great—no judgement. The black card premium membership gives you access to a separate part of the gym with free barbell weight, more benches and dumbbells, more cable machines and such. It also gives you 24hr access to the gym (otherwise, the lower tier membership is limited to staffed hours which still covers a long time range) and access to massage beds and chairs which I like to use for recovery (during the staffed hours). Overall, I just wanted a simple gym membership that provided everything I needed and that's what I got with Fit4Less. Huge recommend from me.

Negative experience: Employees sitting there are rude. Most of them treat us like we workout there for free. I called today to cancel my service and the employee who picked-up told me that they will charge 2 more bi weekly payment before I could cancel even though they say they do not have any commitments. When I joined, I asked them clearly and they didn’t mention that. When I told this, the employee (she) on the phone said it was my responsibility to read the conditions and simply cut the line which was rude. She didn’t even ask me if I need anything else and disconnected the call abruptly. Really bad attitude and zero respect. I have used Planet fitness and trust me they are far better than them.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible experience! I went there with the intentions of purchasing a membership...however, The young girls at the counter were absolutely no help! I wanted to get a membership !!! Wasn't even allowed to see the gym before purchasing a membership?? I was basically told to use the computer in front and pay $ $20 for the day!! What a joke! They basically didn't even let me passed thee doorway!! FAIL These young girls couldn't care less about customers service... They were too busy drinking their smoothies!! Just shameful!

Negative experience: Basic biweekly price is not bad, but I got an email stating we get one free experience on the hydro bed, they where promoting the black card membership. When I asked the counter staff for the sample they said it was going to be 10 dollars. So that was disappointing. Customer service needs work

Positive experience: Could you tell us when the gym is actually closed just wasted my time driving here
Fantastic experience: A full service gym, friendly and helpful staff at a very reasonable price.
Positive experience: There are so many people walking around unmasked without a care in the world here. There is no mask enforcement.
Negative experience: I workout for 3 years in the one in saint catharines and I decided to use the Niagara Falls one because it’s the closest to work. The space is absolutely amazing but the employees are the worst. Today I finished my workout in the treadmill And went to Get some water. A woman who works there called Emily treated me like a dog telling she didn’t see me wiping the treadmill. They are totally right to tell People to clean the equipment after use but she was so rude. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I also Think it could be the fact that I’m Brazilian and I hope that’s not why she treated me this way. It’s so sad.
Negative experience: Was really enjoying going here until I got a random charge of 62 dollars withdrawn from my account and there’s zero answering of phones at gym locations and no customer service line to dispute it. Cancelling my membership asap. The cheap price doesn’t mean anything when they’re known for making unauthorized withdrawals from your bank account. SERIOUSLY DONT GO HERE.

Positive experience: Was not able to find details on opening date and I wish they would offer outdoor or virtual training. I feel for these businesses being shut down for so long. They are essential for everyone's health and well-being.
Negative experience: I use to workout here one staff treated me badly because i wasn't a 5 star member and when i walking to the changing room told me am not am not aloud to walk in with sandals and told me i would be banned from there and i had shoes in my gym bag and then her loving 5 star member came in with sandals she walcome them so love and joy and said nothing to them

Negative experience: Joined this gym for their amazing 24hr feature. (mom of three here!) I paid the FULL YEAR upfront. I went february 2020 and then in March the pandemic hit and my gym-going days seemed over. I waited to request a cancellation because i just assumed they would take the initiative and refund us. But then in April we got notice that they wouldn't refund but carry over our free 3 months and thats when I started emailing head office asking for a cancellation and refund of all my remaining days because I had pre-paid....i just had a feeling i wouldn't be able to return. shortly after they sent emails saying they were planning on re-opening in July. But now the contract looked a little different from what I had PAID AND AGREED to, now we had NO OPTION of 24hr gym access, and had to schedule our time in. That kind of change might be ok for someone else but not for someone like me with three kids under 10 all at home from school. Plus juggling multiple jobs just to pay bills. I felt cheated from my original agreement. This is where I realized they had NO EMAIL, NO REAL PHONE NUMBER TO CALL and a disclaimer that they might take LONGER THAN A MONTH to reply. I decided to call my portage road gym and ask them to vouch for me and help me....They made it seem like i was right and they would try and contact head office on my behalf. A few weeks later I hadn't heard back and when I called the gym again they didn't know who I was or what I needed. I had to RE-EXPLAIN everything again and RE-REQUEST a refund. Brandon emailed them and me back and forth and concluded that NO FULL REFUND could be issued. I called my credit card company and explained EVERYTHING to them. You know what they said? You waited too long to make the claim. I'm not overly proud that i can't be graceful about even a partial refund, but when they offered me 3 months refunded and i replied they NEVER answered me back! Thanks to this establishment I'm in the hole $320. This gym is a disgrace when it comes to customer service. We are all going through hardships and the fact that they pulled this during a pandemic is incredibly sad. Think before you sign on for a year, even if they say you can cancel anytime, they lie.
Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Definitely an improvement from the last gym I went to! The only thing... I think staff should patrol a little more with people not wearing masks:( When you get to your workout station/spot then you can lower it.. but people walking around without one at all....ehhhh!
