Fantastic experience: I’ve been playing at Markham Badminton Club every Sunday morning, and it’s been a fantastic experience! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the coaches are highly professional, offering excellent guidance whether you’re a beginner or more advanced. The courts are nicely kept, and the atmosphere is welcoming and energetic, making it a perfect balance of fun and competition. Each session leaves me feeling motivated and excited to return. If you’re looking for a great place to play and improve your skills, I highly recommend Markham Badminton Club!

Fantastic experience: I believe that Markham Badminton offers the highest quality of service, training, and courts there is to offer. The new courts have exceeded my expectations and the lighting is very eye-pleasing as well. An issue that used to occur was the slippery courts, but that does not seem to pose as a problem anymore as I have not had this problem. The coaches are very experienced and are of the highest level you can find, a lot of them have impressive previous world rankings and have competed on the international stage. Overall, I do believe that Markham Badminton is an excellent badminton club and I would definitely recommended going here!

Negative experience: My two courts booking was cancelled without any notification! Me and all my friends only found out when we arrived. Combined, at least 10 hours of our time was wasted because Markham Badminton did not care to spend 5 minutes to give us a call.

Fantastic experience: Very nice place, friendly staff, a working area to the right of the entrance, also badminton equipment is very cheap there. Strings get stringed after, like, two days. Courts might be a bit few compared to KC and other clubs, but still good badminton environment overall.

Negative experience: The floor is very slippery, my father fell down on the floor hit the head. When talked to the staff got replied, "yes, our court is slippery" and also laughed at us feels “it’s all your problem.” No apologies to him or did not ask anything, even did not come and ask. When he got home felt headache and now we’re in the emergency hope everything is fine.

Negative experience: I have played at almost every badminton center in Toronto and this place is the only one that charges a GUEST FEE. My friend booked the court with no guest fee since she is a member. When I entered the court I was told to pay 3 dollars extra for being a guest………While 3 dollars is not much but I’m feeling like a dumb to come to here. If you insist to charge a GUEST fee, please charge it based on who book the court rather than charge everyone who’s entering the court. I’m only willing to pay GUEST fee at night club,not badminton courts.

Negative experience: The floor is very slippery. The staff replied, “yes, our court is slippery” No apologies to me. Omg! If you are looking for a court to play badminton, please don't come to Markham Badminton. You will be in 100% get hurt.

Negative experience: This is my first time back since the new change over to Markham Badminton from Su badminton and it was terrible. It smelled like that gym bag where you left your sweaty clothes in for a month x 10000000. The ventilation of the place was horrible which doesn’t help with the smell. The humidity in the club affected the courts to a point where the mats were moist and slippery causing my friend to slip and fall which resulted in an injury. Front desk was informed of the accident but did nothing to assist (did not even offer a bandaid or ice..nor the simplest thing of all… an apology) funnily the first comment that came out was “well people say courts at KC are also slippery too”…. We are regulars at KC and their courts are never slippery. Accidents happen but the club should take responsibility for an unsafe environment. Players beware… but if you do want to get injured this is definitely the club for it. Needless to say, we will not be returning based on the lack of taking responsibilities in maintaining a safe and clean environment for their customers.

Negative experience: 垃圾场地！！地上超级滑 看了评论才知道 所有人都觉得滑 而且很多人在这里受伤 崴脚擦伤的非常多 就是因为他们不开风扇 里面非常闷 整个场地的蒸汽落在地上 前台还一脸很正常的样子 一脸都不负责任 场地垃圾！前台垃圾！态度更垃圾！！！

Fantastic experience: I love this place and have been playing badminton there since July 2022. The staff are very nice and friendly, the new owners also very easy going and always listen to customers needs and try their best to meet customer's requirements. I would recommend this place to badminton players.

Fantastic experience: 几个朋友去了一次就疯狂地爱上了羽毛球，也喜欢上了这个俱乐部。门口还一个超可爱的小狗狗，看谁都亲，哈哈哈……老板也不要太nice呢，我办了办年卡，跟老板说可能要回国两个月，能不能延期，老板轻描淡写一句：那当然啊！

Negative experience: We agreed with club to have booked a private training for long term but afterward they made a mistake to give my time spot to somebody else ! The good thing is they agreed they made mistake but the bad thing is they refused to fix it so they throw us out of our time spot and gave my time spot to the later booked player! This is the biggest upset that we booked first and already took one private at the agreed time spot, but they prefer later booked player! It's unfair at all! I understand everybody make mistakes, as long as we fix it! But they did not! I still gave 2 star instead of 1 considering they are not bad people just they do not know how to run this small business and trait customers fair! Still hope the club running better!

Negative experience: I go here every sunday and the A/C does not work and the mens washroom is very nasty, staff are rude and there are broken tiles near the back door.

Negative experience: AC not turned on or unavailable at most times. Current owner is rude and not friendly to customers. Overall conditions are below average. Will not go again.

Negative experience: This is Su badminton months ago had just changed to be Markham Badminton along with the new owners few months ago. The entire operation getting deteriorating, no ventilation, poor customer services (especially with the new owners), poor maintenance, bad management, everything only just stand for the owner side.

Negative experience: This badminton was handed over to new owners few months ago, since then, there is no customer services. The new owners refuse to turn on AC / ventilation regardless of the hot weather, even some of our players feels it is not comfortable and need to stop playing. Court is old and line stickers are peeling off / super thick. Go to RW next door. The new owners like to change the "rules and regulations" in favor for their side at any time they like. I experienced they suddenly change our booking without prior noticing us. Besides, the facilities like changing room, washroom are all lack of maintenance. Staff there is reasonable, please avoid to deal with the owners if you can. good luck!

Negative experience: Will never go back. Owners refuse to turn on AC / ventilation so the floors are super slippery - I see so many people slipping around when playing! I'm surprised they're not afraid of being sued. Court is old and line stickers are peeling off / super thick. Go to RW next door.

Negative experience: The new owner tried to save $$$ and refused to turn on the fan for circulation that cause the slippery on the court. The court mat has zero maintenance, they use a peeling white tape to cover the deep gaps and it was not seal properly. It's unsafe for badminton players. We have rise the concerns multiple times but no improvement was made. I hope the owner read it and address the problems.

Fantastic experience: $3 non-member fee required for non members. Lighting on most courts are good. There’s one court at the back that has bad lighting when you’re playing on the side that’s facing all the other courts. They also have A/C in the summer but it still gets quite hot. Dress accordingly. They sell drinks and badminton gear if you need too.

Positive experience: Just a normal badminton club for members. The floor and the nets are well setup and clean great place to play some badminton

Positive experience: The price is fair and the facilities are good. The courts were recently upgraded so they should be good for a while even though some of the courts are starting to peel. Some minor complaints are the change room being too small, the prices for the front shop is a bit high, and a couple of the courts are oriented in a way that the lighting and vision are not ideal. All in all, this place is good for the area, if you can even book a court.

Positive experience: Took the adult class there for about half a year. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful.. Had my badminton racquet restrung there. The class there was pretty fun... unfortunately the coach that I was under has since moved on to another place. But would recommend this place to other people.

Negative experience: Lighting and spacing between court are good. However the court mats are pulling apart. The washroom and changing room are dirty (June2022) The gap is getting bigger and bigger, trapped feet very easy, play with care. (Sep2022) The gap is covered by a thick white tape however the gap is still there. Woman washroom sink is as dirty as before, the faucet is broken.

Positive experience: Lighting is not bad, however the floor and padding need to be replaced soon. That is, the floor is getting slippery. The price for drop in is reasonable

Positive experience: The floor is a bit run down but the ceiling is high and lighting is acceptable. It also has the right price to match.

Positive experience: Very good atmosphere here. Lots of space around each court. The flooring surface is green rubber mats, but they have a good balance of traction without tripping you up the way some rubber floors can be too sticky for good court shoes. The staff are friendly, and they have a well stocked pro shop with racquets, shuttles, shoes, grip tape, and refreshments. My only critique is that the tape on the mats is very wide in some places, making the court markings non-standard. Since "on the line" counts as "In", that is a problem.

Positive experience: Play badminton almost every Saturday here. 10 courts in total. Usually fully occupied. Book in advance is recommended.

Positive experience: The courts though padded are a little TOO soft. For someone who's rolled their ankle many times (not at this facility) it makes landing after jumping kind of unstable. Courts can get pretty dirty sometimes but this has improved. Overall a decent place to play.

Fantastic experience: This place is a very cheap place to go for Badminton. I go every Sunday or when I have nothing else to do. Don't have equipment? There is a very big shop there with everything you need to play. Nice and friendly coaches help you start if you are a beginner. Good job!
