Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. The staff are friendly knowledgeable, and take the time to learn your name. The gym itself is very clean and inviting. I especially enjoy the fact that the gym focuses on being judgement free.

Negative experience: I took a break from the gym since last year come back and now it’s not 24 hrs! I’m cancelling my membership immediately and going to fit4less seems new management doesn’t like business.

Fantastic experience: Not long ago I started visiting Planet Fitness. I’m very glad that I chose it, the price ratio is very low, there are plenty of exercise machines, a huge gym, a shower, a solarium, as well as a massage chair that is excellent for relaxing after a workout. I will recommend this gym to everyone to your acquaintances and friends.

Fantastic experience: I really like Planet Fitness. I like the staff and the people who go there. I love all the saying on the walls and stuff. The color scheme is great. The equipment is really good and the massage chair is amazing. The lighting in the changing room is also great. Planet fitness is a part of my routine and I look forward to keeping it that way as long as their is a planet fitness within travel distance of me I will continue to go there. :)

Negative experience: Not very happy this club was 24 hours and now it closes at 7 pm on a Saturday??? What kind of gym can you not hit after supper on a weekend? Cancelling my membership I'm better off buying my own workout equipment if I can't even go in the evening or night... Do better planet fitness.

Negative experience: Hello people thinking about joining planet fitness some heads up I haven’t bin with this gym for 2 years today they got a payment off a credit card I never gave them had to cancel my card and go get a new one today I’m disputing it canceling is vary hard at this gym they don’t make it easy you can sign up in 2 seconds online but it will take you weeks to cancel if in person visit saying there not able too gyms have the ability to retake payments anytime if missed just a fyi also have the ability to send things to collection these are things they don’t tell you tiny print my over all suggesting to go good life fitness I was with them defaulted on a payment and nothing happened at all very nice company to deal with unlike planet fitness is scum to people who don’t make a lot of money

Fantastic experience: Super friendly and helpful staff. Keep up the good work. At times it's tough getting motivated to go workout so when you arrive and the staff smile and say hello is encouraging! The gym is always clean and organized. Equipment is excellent shape.

Negative experience: PF thought it’s okay to cut a 1/4 of the open hours but continue to charge the same rates without notifying the members(other than a piece of paper taped to the door. I.e. no email was sent). When I went to cancel my membership they so graciously waive the cancellation fee however were only willing to provide a refund of the $28.74 that they took from me for a lesser service only of if I changed my review survey to a 10 out of 10. It was dirty business practices to charge me for a redefined service without asking and it was even dirty business practices to try to blackmail me into a better review. I told them to keep the money and I will be leaving my 0 out of 10 review. Would rate it 0 stars if it was an option.

Negative experience: The water fountain is always broken. Usually happens during warm days. Bring your own to avoid issues.

Positive experience: Super clean,super organized workout machines. No barbell free weight to use as they cater to the person not wanting a challenging atmosphere with large body builders present. No grunting or weight dropping permitted (which I'm fine with). Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of cleaning stations with disinfectant cleaner and paper towel everywhere. Very organized workout stations for each body part you're wishing to train. Overall good experience.

Negative experience: Dumbell all over the floor no water had to change to fit 4 less

Fantastic experience: The experience so far has been really good, I was really scared to go to the gym at first because I was worried about sticking out or being judged but I feel totally comfortable there.

Fantastic experience: Clean, plenty of machines, I especially liked the 30 minute workout section

Negative experience: I liked going here and liked the atmosphere and selection of equipment. But I give it two stars because when I went to cancel my membership due to moving away, the staff member messed up processing the cancelation and I was charged for an extra month. The management gave me the runaround about a refund and never actually gave me that money back. If you ever cancel, make sure you get electronic confirmation. I would have considered re-joining the gym when I moved back to the city, but I won't support such dishonest practices.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, all the equipment is great quality (Matrix), the staff are extremely polite and price per month is pretty good too. Got amazing gains at PF.

Fantastic experience: The club is very clean. I mean very clean everywhere you look from front door to the locker room and all the equipment. I don’t know how they do it! It’s like magic! It’s always so clean! The staff are AMAZING! Everyone has been so nice and so kind! I was nervous coming my first time but they made me feel sooo comfortable and welcome!!! I love everyone who works there!!! Evan is my favourite! He is so nice, friendly, kind, helpful, professional, smart and fun! I look forward to his classes and I never thought I’d ever say that! He goes above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. You can tell he cares about people and their health. He makes everyone feel welcome and motivated. I love his spirit and personality! The equipment is well maintained and there is never a problem with broken machines!

Positive experience: Would be nice to see more modern equipment. I came from a private gym. Better treadmills and overall equipment. These are the same style and models since I started with Planet fitness many moons ago in another province.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! The black card is definitely worth it for the price, so many great features! Staff is also extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome!

Negative experience: Would have been a 5 , if there was a gym instructor and not just two female receptionist. This location needs one, especially between 6am and 1pm. Is there a reason why this location is not opened today?, and no information was passed about that? No one is answering my call is very UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Fantastic experience: Went midday on a Thursday for the first time and the gym was relatively empty. Will have to say the machines were spaced out really well and everything was clean. The only thing I missed was the stretching machine that some of the Planet fitnesses have but still a great location. Also the lockers had just been cleaned out so can tell they do that. The bathroom and showers were in good shape too. Would definitely recommend this location.

Positive experience: The facility is clean, full of options and the staff are always friendly. The “judgment free” zone seems to only exist when you’re a current member. I cancelled my membership today due to personal circumstances and was met with “aww, where’s your motivation?!” From a staff member at the desk. The employee who did the work to cancel my membership was lovely and helpful. I hope this feedback helps save the next person from that embarrassment/shameful comment.

Fantastic experience: Planet Fitness Saint John (Lancaster Mall) is great! It's convenient and has all the workout equipment I need. The Hydro-bed and Deep Tissue Massage Chairs are the perfect reward for a tough workout.

Positive experience: Loved being a member. Great gym! You get bang for your buck here. My only criticism would be the cleanliness of the tanning rooms. Don't assume. Just sanitize before and after you use them. I feel staff could be more frequent with routine cleaning for those rooms.

Positive experience: Decent gym and a great size with all you need, haven't had to wait for equipment. I go in the early part of the day and try to avoid the prime time (5pm gets busy.) The staff are friendly and helpful when you have any questions about some things offered there. I have the membership that allows you to do everything there and highly recommend it because it's sometimes feeling like a spa day for me when you get to use the tanning or massage therapy beds. For the cost and what's included I personally think it's awesome Also has WiFi !!!! Hope this review helps

Positive experience: Perfect for if you're trying to get healthy from an unhealthy state. Not intended for body building nor social media routines. The kind of place where the person in full Adidas sports gear with a good life bag looks more out of place than someone in a t-shirt with sweats.

Morencardio equipment than will ever be all un use. Could use a couple more of certain weight equipment but its mantra isnt geared towards that mentality so i have adapted my workouts to be more flexible

The staff seemed nice but uninterested in going out of their way to say hello or ask if I needed help with anything. Since it was my first time I could of used some guidance, although it was busy so I didn't bother anyone.

Fantastic experience: Open 24/7 . Not too busy. You can't miss a working Machine. Employees are nice and friendly but I don't like the wait when entering to scan your card. Anyway I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! It has a huge variety of machines and the facility is beautiful. It also has tanning, a red light therapy machine which also tones your body, massage chairs and hydro massage beds which is super lovely after a good workout. The staff is amazing too, really friendly and always around when you need them.
