Positive experience: I’ve been using this gym for quite some time and one thing I do appreciate is how clean it is overall. I like the concept too, it’s super beginner friendly with the amount of machines available.Given that it’s meant to be beginner friendly, there are no free weights, aside from dumbbells. No free barbell, just smith machines. That’s the main downside I would say. but overall great range of equipments

Positive experience: Not sure how to rate .. but took the energy right outta me .. my son Tylor McCrindle will be taking me back to this location as my friend didn't really stay last time as long .. but as I seen , it looks amazing .. I'll probably get me a membership on my next visit and start working out with my son , he sold me the pitch to join ...lol..

Negative experience: Seriously, there is a disgusting experience with planet fitness I have ever had. I am having black membership in planet fitness and I am always let in by every team member with that alone ...but today I completed my shift and came to do gym but a girl with little curly hair, told me that you will not be sent in....If there is no equality in the Team member inly, then how can the gym work.. so disappointing experience...I need my money back at all

Positive experience: The gym is great, but unfortunately, I had my wallet stolen inside my backpack because I forgot to lock the locker with the padlock. Whoever did this knows that there is no camera in this area as it is the changing room. Finally, a police report was made and measures were taken.

Negative experience: I have been a member for 1.5 years. I work shift work so having a gym that was 24/7 was a key factor for me. I went to the gym just after 11pm today just to find out that they have changed their hours. Now the gym hours are convenient for people that work Mon-Fri day shift and shift workers are out of luck. If this doesn't change then I will be canceling my membership and switching to Snap fitness because they are a 24hr gym. Also at least one staff member should be walking around from time to time to monitor the patrons. I should not have to get into a fight with someone taking a video in the locker room, and when I told the staff they should have left to go deal with the individual, not just tell me that they will talk to her. Harassment used to get you banned from Planet Fitness and was taken seriously. I didn't go to the gym for over a month because I didn't want to take a chance on it happening again.

Positive experience: I e been going to this gym for about two or three months now. Lots of bikes which I love and seems to be enough machines for all. They did however change their hours of operation and that has seriously inconvenienced me as I typically work out after my child has gone to bed. The weekend hours of closing at 7 is really unacceptable and I’m am seriously considering changing facilities. Over all outside of this issue I would recommend planet fitness.

Fantastic experience: I'm from Toronto and when I come to Brockville I work out here. I love this place because it is always very clean, the staff is always very attentive and very friendly, they serve you in the best way and are very professional and proactive. My score is 5 stars, much better than those in Toronto in every way.

Positive experience: An absolute abundance of cardio machines, clean, plenty of space and never too crowded. Staff are friendly. Massage machines are great for after those extra intense workouts! Just needs some barbells that aren't part of a smith machine

Positive experience: need more cable machines. people spending an hour on them and saying they’re using all four sides so you can’t even use part of it.

Positive experience: There are multiple machines, so you don't have to wait for one of them to be available. Their black card spa is a great way to relax after/before a workout. The staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. Would strongly recommend this place to work out.

Fantastic experience: This has been my favourite gym I’ve joined. I was pleasantly surprised at how many machines and equipment they have (cardio included). Tons of room. Staff is always so friendly when entering or leaving. You can even hop in and do a quick 30 minute PF express workout so you don’t have to think too much that day! The locker rooms and entire gym is clean and has exactly what you need. Upgrade to a black card (which is LESS than most gym memberships) and you can do a hydro massage session, tanning, red light therapy, or massage chair. The gym promotes no judgement and is for anyone in any walk of life. Thank you so much for making this a fantastic place that most people can access and afford!

Positive experience: It’s ok , very clean ,staff are friendly and you can’t beat the price. Equipment is well maintained. They do need some heavier kettlebells and extra lower weights between 15 and 30 pds as they are most commonly used. I just wish they would lower the music volume. Way to loud in change room. Not relaxing at all. Expect to have your headphones beyond reasonable listening volume to drown out the not so great music. Especially if your listening to one of the televisions. Very annoying trying to listen to two things at once. 90 plus % of people have headphones please lower the volume. As to response from owner. I did speak with staff about music..nothing changed. Heavier kettles up to 50 pounds would be awesome. Thanks

Positive experience: Too many people behind counter chatting instead of cleaning floors in rooms still dirty not healthy

Fantastic experience: Extremely clean and well-maintained location! The staff are always very friendly and pleasant to chat with, and the water temperature (showers) stays nice and hot with good water pressure. As someone who travels for work and visits PF's all over Canada and the USA, this is by far one of my favourite locations!!

Negative experience: If you want a gym that actually listens to customer concerns about hygiene, you may want to look elsewhere. This location is slowly going downhill and staff seem to not care about the continued concerns raised. Update: I reached out over a week prior to my initial review here on Google. There was no response. After contacting head office, I was told my feedback is important, but they’re not willing to change anything. So, your reply is a day late and a dollar short.

Fantastic experience: One Planet Fitness of many I frequent, its larger then most, adequate, showers here are bigger then all the other's, more then one toilet stall in the men's room (this is important to me lol). Staff are super chill, equipment is plenty and available

Positive experience: Great gym for someone in my position who needed a place to work out while away. Staff were nice and they were helpful. The gym was clean....even the men's change room! Lol. I'll go again.

Positive experience: Great gym. Lots of equipment, great amenities. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean. I wish staff be a little bit aware of harassments. Gyms can easily become safer by putting up signs stating that harassment will not be tolerated and implementing real consequences like the loss of a gym membership if you break the rules. For now I'm Contacting the Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC) for free legal support about it. This has to change. #harassmentawareness

Fantastic experience: Large clean gym, good for general fitness. I would not recommend advanced lifters to come here as free weights are limited.

Fantastic experience: This is a great planet fitness. The staff is friendly The gym is clean. Most of the patrons clean up after themselves. The change rooms and bathrooms are nice as well. Spacious and clean. They are handling the covid pandemic very well with appointments and solid well thought out rules. When the patrons bother to follow them... Or even learn them.... But you can't fix people unfortunately that's just how they are. Great gym well staffed and managed!

Fantastic experience: I have been with them since they opened and really enjoy it. Great staff, always friendly. Price is super and that takes away the guilt if you miss some time. Cleanliness is super. It is a privilege to be able to have a place to go in this pandemic not a right.. Keep up the great work!

Negative experience: Club is newer, spacious however disappointed today that staff are not enforcing mask wearing when not doing cardio. Watched 2 men talk for 30 minutes no masks not working out and staff member walked by twice! All clubs will be closed if all don't do their part including members!

Negative experience: Has been over a year my wife cancel her subscription and they are still charging us. I'm contacting the BBB if they do t refund me all charges they have been doing to us.

Fantastic experience: Brockville PF is always my choice even though I have to drive 45mins each way! The staff are always so nice and welcoming. The gym is so big, clean and has an abundance of equipment. There are so many options for every-body at any fitness level. I could spend all day there! Love the spa as well. Kemptville location pretty please!

Fantastic experience: I go in the middle of the night and I love it. I usually get the gym to myself and there’s a few staff members there if I need any help. They’re pretty friendly. The music they play isn’t super hyped up so I have my own. The entire place is so new and clean, it’s a pleasant experience to work out there. They have a huge variety of equipment and a couple of each machines. There’s a 30 min circuit zone with timers and free tootsie rolls for customers. I’ve worked out at the YMCA and Fit4Less but this is my favorite of all 3 gyms.

Positive experience: Planet fitness is an excellent place to get in shape without feeling shame. There are all kinds of folks coming. Every size or shape with a common goal to get healthier and more energetic. There is tons of equipment and a trainer on site. Note... You cannot bring in your own trainer as they have insurance issues if there are injuries. They have refreshments if needed. A couple tanning booths which are free to use with a black card membership as well as aqua message chairs. The membership is less than 25.00 per month and you can bring a guest every time you come. I've been to a few other gyms and planet fitness offers more than any others at about half the price... the perfect investment.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has tried almost every available gym in the area, Planet Fitness has got them beat. A point to keep in mind is that Planet Fitness is not a specialized gym. If you are look for a "Gold's" style gym, a CrossFit affiliate etc., You will not find that here. We have those places available in Brockville already. Planet Fitness is a place for all people of all fitness backgrounds and all skill levels to work out, take classes and become a better more confident version of themselves. They offer extremely affordable memberships at $10 or $20 a month. They have a clean and well fitted gym with a wonderful staff to boot. If you are shy, timid, inexperienced or just looking for a new home gym. Give them a try, you won't be dissapointed. A judgement-free zone.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new gym since the GoodLife Fitness in Brockville closed down and Planet Fitness was my first choice. Not only it's sparkling new and clean, it has everything you need and then some. I was a bit sceptical at first since Planet Fitness has a reputation to be anti free weights and anti heavy lifting but so far I'm quite pleased. I have been training consistently for over 12 years and this is the second best gym I ever attended. The max free weight they have is 75 but then you can move on to the Smith machines. They don't have free barbells which is the only negative point, but you can easily adapt. There are tons of equipment and cardio machines so the chances of you waiting for one is close to none. The peak traffic seems to be weekdays after work which I tend to avoid. I hate social gatherings at the gym and it seems there's a lot of those. The staff is friendly in general but could be friendlier like saying hello or have a good day. Staff was friendlier at GoodLife but we will give them a chance! The massage chairs are great and were helpful after a back workout. Have yet to try that red infrared one and the tanning just to see how it is. It is staffed 24 hours which is awesome for any shift worker like myself. I have been there on average 4-5 times a week and my motivation reached a new height. Brockville never really had a real gym and it was about time Planet Fitness opened one here. Lots of posers, attention seekers and ladies with pounds of makeup to workout but if you know what you are doing and are striving to achieve a better lifestyle then this is the place to go! At that price, seriously, you have no excuse. You made a member for life! Cheers!

Fantastic experience: Brockville needed a gym that's here for the long haul, feels clean, motivating, and for $10-$20 I couldn't make an excuse not to join. It's amazing! I was on my phone when I walked in so I seated myself where no one could see me, and within a 10 min a manager Cassidy (not a bimbo Barbie) walked over to kindly asking me if I needed anything.
