Fantastic experience: While in town for a few days my son went to this gym and had nothing but positive things to say. He said it's clean, has great equipment and is better than the gym we have back home.

Positive experience: This is not a bad place for a gym. The place, equipment, changing area and bathroom are clean. The equipment are not old or out of style. The gym was not crowded. Although, the staffs were nowhere to be found when I tried to register. It was rather funny because I stood there for minutes and nobody attended to me. It was like the gym was free.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been to a gym in my life. My review is 100% based on the lovely couple who run this business. I’m a comedian who performed an online/virtual show last winter. Mark and Amanda BOTH purchased tickets to my show despite the fact they were watching my show on the same TV at the same time. You cannot buy that level of support. This is the commitment you will get from River City. Love these guys <3

When you walk in they greet you with a smile and ask yeah how your doing. The equipment is always kept clean and in working order. They are up to date with the latest equipment and have a nice variety of supplementation and have the knowledge of their products. All in all and amazing gym and great environment.

Fantastic experience: River City Fitness/Gym is a facility that supports all their members in meeting their goals. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The facilities are always clean. The gym equipment is modern. I particularly love the atmosphere. There is lots of room and never feels crowded. This facility also provides a level of comfort to meet the needs of a wide age group of clientele. I greatly appreciate all the support I have received while attending this gym and would easily and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to workout in Miramichi.

Fantastic experience: RiverCity Fitness is not only a gym but a home for most. Mark & Amanda have the cleanest, nicest and most supportive spot on the river. Along with their staff, they make everyone feel welcome. Mark & Amanda are also big supporters of the community, frequently doing fund raisers, donating and sponsoring many people events. They have everything you need to get healthy and stay healthy, along with a variety of proteins and supplements. Their protein shake stand is just the icing on the cake for making this the one stop shop for getting you back on track for being a healthier you.

River City is not only beautiful with new equipment but the staff are alway supportive and friendly and the gym is always so CLEAN!!! It’s obvious that the owners Mark and Amanda take great pride in their gym- it shows! I love it here!

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym on the river! It's clean and its equipment is well maintained. Unlike other gyms, when you walk in, it smells like disinfectant (a good thing) or VersaSpa (even better) as opposed to the way other gyms smell... Staff are friendly and always efficient! They offer a wide selection of protein powders, and supplements! Their Spotify workout playlists are great too, for your days off when you pop in your ear bugs to go for a walk instead!

I’d also like to add a note about the breadth of workout options available at River City. I was able to work around a bout of plantar fasciitis AND a calf strain using weights, an awesome array of cardio machines, and two smaller fitness rooms set up perfectly for HIIT workouts. River City has accommodated all of my fitness needs through the ups and downs of my own fitness journey, at any hour that is most convenient for me.

I'm going to be honest and say I'm an introvert and have some anxiety when it comes to being in crowds, especially when you are exerting yourself and kind of sharing your struggle towards better health and fitness with the people around you. The owner and staff make me feel extremely welcome. The equipment is new and well maintained, and people of all shapes and sizes and age attend. They offer trainers that are very affordable. This gym is busy for a reason. I absolutely love this place and I recommend it to newbies and everyone!

Fantastic experience: Since river city fitness has opened on the river, I have heard nothing but good. Amanda and Mark are such kind humble people, and their establishment reflects this. This past week they even offered to help the local SPCA with washing and drying blankets for the shelter. And even asked if they needed machines where the current ones were inoperable. Be it at the gym, a restaurant, or local festivities they always greet you with a warm welcome and smile. They are truly inspirational people here in the community. I look forward to being moved home and getting on my feet to start training in their establishment. Keep up the hard work and dedication to health in our humble city guys. :)

It was the perfect place to start and is the perfect place to continue your journey to good health physically and Mentally. This facility is owed by generous people who also contribute to the community and continue to upgrade and maintain the site. They carry a sweet line to supplements and have a smoothie bar! Free weights, machines, tanning beds, take your pick! Highly recommended!
