Fantastic experience: I've been an anytime fitness member since 2020. I honestly think this is one of the best gym franchises out there. Patrons and staff here create a community who cares about each other's betterment. There's always something exciting happening, equipment are well maintained and it's a clean facility. Positive experience: Joined free training session this early morning, 6am! We did circuit training. Bicycle, dumbbell(arm, shoulder), weight lifting, squats with weights, boat rolling, dumbbell triceps, dumbbell ranges and ball falling thing. 3 times, 2/5 dropped out. After, core on the mat : plank, plank with knee bending, plank with legs open and close. 2 times, 1/3 dropped out. I was sweating crazy at 6 am. Best work out ever. But little too much.

Fantastic experience: Nice staff and a clean facility! The music is a bit loud though

Positive experience: The gym itself is fine, the two main issues being the annoying EDM music is always blasting so even with your own music in you still hear it, and the billing system can't be automated to send you a monthly invoice. Beyond that the equipment is in good shape, and it's usually not too crowded.

Fantastic experience: Silverado Anytime Fitness is a great little gym. They have a awsome selection of equipment with everything you'll need. If for some reason they don't have equipment you want, you can even ask them to get it for the gym. The gym as always clean and organized. Staff is super friendly. It is on the smaller side of gyms so it does feel a little tight when it is busy but they make up for it with the variety of equipment.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Genuine people. Ended up getting a personal trainer at this location, and she was so easy to work with and was so so helpful! She helped me lose 10-15 pounds before my wedding day and I'm so thankful. I didn't end up using all my personal training sessions and they were kind enough to refund me my money. Thank you for being a great gym and putting your customers first!

Fantastic experience: Everything you'd expect inside and great quality. Where these guys stand out though is in customer service. During a membership enquiry, I discovered the gym changed management sometime in 2021. There had been a mix-up in my membership made by previous management. The new crew fixed it immediately to more than my satisfaction. Can thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member at Anytime Fitness in Silverado for a few years now and love it. Here's a breakdown of why I think it's so great: 1. It must be the cleanest gym in Calgary. The only gym that I've found equally as clean is Anytime Fitness Sundance (spoiler alert: that gym is part of the same ownership group). They are definitely doing something right! 2. The staff are ultra friendly and always willing to help. Need a spot? No problem. Have a fitness related question? Ask. Simply want to have a friendly chat? Just say hello. 3. The equipment is super modern and they are always investing in new stuff. When I started at the gym they had two squat racks. Exercises that use squat racks are becoming more and more popular. They now have two power racks and one squat rack, that's SIX spots where you could perform a barbell squat. Forget about waiting for equipment. 4. Cancelling is easy. Yes, you read that correctly. Contrary to some of the one star reviews I see here, cancelling is easy. My wife decided to cancel her membership and it was as simple as going in, saying she didn't want to be a member anymore, and that was it. Sure, when you sign up they ask for a commitment after your free trial (I think it's one year, but I might be wrong. And I'm pretty sure you can still get out with a cancellation fee) so if you don't think you can make that commitment then you shouldn't sign up. 5. The fact that you can access 24/7 is amazing. My previous gym closed early on Sundays. Not this one. 6. Access to all other Anytime Fitnesses globally is a bonus. When travelling it's super convenient to know that you'll likely be close to a gym you can access. When travelling was a thing I would plan my trips to stay close to any Anytime. If you're considering a gym membership and live close to this location. Look no further, this is your gym!

Fantastic experience: Small but friendly and has all the stuff you need

Fantastic experience: In my experience a lot of anytime fitness gyms are very small and have very old equipment. However this location is pretry large, all of the equipment is new and nice. Plus there are lots of machines which most locations do not have. It's the best Anytime Fitness I've been to so far.

Fantastic experience: A great gym I love the equipment they have, it’s never too busy. The staff help out a lot when it comes to questions about workouts, very friendly and excited to help. The gyms heavy bag actually helped me get into boxing as well. I met a lot of members that share the same interests in boxing and working out that I ended up being friends with. The members, staff and gym together make working out here fun.

The facilities are well kept and sanitized. Overall, Anytime Fitness is a great gym because you can use your membership at any anytime fitness gym.

Negative experience: They would not let people to try the gym out. 1 year plan or nothing.

Negative experience: Do not sign up here! Unfortunatly this gym has been the worst experience my husband and I have ever had with a gym. We sincerely regret switching from GoodLife. We have had issues with getting overcharged since the day we signed up, but everything escalated with COVID. I am in the middle of a high risk pregnancy that prevents my husband and I from being able to go to the gym. I had to contact them 4 times before they finally put our accounts on hold. The day they called me to let me know our accounts were finally being put on hold, they charged us again. They refunded that charge a few days later but since then we have been charged TWICE MORE, meaning we’ve been falsely charged three times since our accounts were put on ‘hold’. In a time where many families are going through significant financial hardship, this complete disregard for the impact this is having not only on my health, but also our finances, is a shocking disappointment. I reached out to them on October 20th to request that the money be reimbursed and almost three weeks later, they’re not only ignoring my request but they charged us again.

Negative experience: Impossible to get ahold of anyone before covid with requests of canceling my membership. During covid, there was no notice that membership dues would be on hold. After gyms were able to open, no notice was out of when dues would be collected again. Because of the continuous lack of communication, I’m sitting with NSF fees. The ABC financial they use is hard to get through to regarding adjusting payment method or account so I can stop racking up NSF fees. When I finally got a hold of the gym to cancel, I couldn’t because of the “2 year contract” I was in. So now I’m stuck paying at this gym for another year. When I tried emailing back to the gym regarding the NSF fees that were piling up, GO FIGURE NO RESPONSE AGAIN! Don’t waste your money on contracts.

Negative experience: It’s a Big mistake signing a membership here.

Negative experience: months after me and my husband cancelled our gym membership, a third party is trying to collect dues from us! We paid for our cancellation fee at the gym so why are we still having this issue! Don't make the mistake of signing a membership here!

The gym is clean, smells great, and they have towel service! I have never walked in to find a mess, the gym is always spotless! The early morning gym-goers are super friendly, and everyone says good morning. It's a great place to work-out and I love coming here.
