Positive experience: I'm a member of this club but my colleague said it's closed is it still closed

Negative experience: Don't go here please this place is scam. My friend didn't go to this gym for couple of years and she canceled her membership as well long time ago. 3 week ago she got call from debt collectors even though she has never been to this gym or had membership they are keep harassing her so plz if you don't want this don't come here and they charged 800$. If this keeps happening I'm getting all the customers that this happened in the past n sue them big this is warning to the gym.

Negative experience: I canceled but they're still collecting money. No one calls me back. Not happy.

Negative experience: If anybody wants to join me to sue these people for what should be illegal business practices let me know. I'm putting in a formal complain with the Civil Resulotion Tribunal. It's where you go to sue someone for damages less than $5000. I would go to small claims court but they told me they only handle $5000 and above cases. So please go to Civil Resolution Tribunal and get your claim started. it's online. very easy. and feel free to contact me if you need any questions. I spoke to the owner of the business today. She does not care about customers at all. She's been very successful taking advantage of people. Don't walk away. Sue her. Stop her. Thank you.

Negative experience: WORST GYM PROBABLY ALL IN CANADA! Lady name Lilly called me and said I need to pay money to cancel my membership because the payments are overdue. I asked for backup and email and she refused. She hung up the phone & refused to send an email. She threatened me that I will be taken to collections if I don’t pay the money before cancelling my membership. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They don’t have a proper system, she said “ accounting department sent a message “, she refused to give contact. I WILL CONTACT BETTER BUSINESS BEARAU AND FILE A COMPLAINT ON THIS COMPANY. THEY HARRAS THEIR CUSTOMERS TO CANCEL MEMBERSHIP. I wish I could give it a -00000000000000000000000 out of 5 STARS!

Negative experience: FRAUD AND SCAMMERS! Cancelled my membership for more than a year now. Suddenly they are charging my card with annual fees now. People here don't have manners talking to customers as well and will insist that they are right and will tell you are a liar when instead its them who are fooling customers!!! Worst gym, worst people, worst service!!!

Fantastic experience: Really nice staff, reasonable price, great location, and open till 8pm Monday to Friday! I joined around 2015 but had to leave in 2017 because of full time school at the time! I need to reregister and get a new membership card, as mine has expired, and start going again!

Negative experience: IAM NO LONGER A MEMBER of this gymfor almost two years but they still deducting money from my account. I already submitted the paper withdrawing my membership. DURING COVID LOCKDOWN,NEVER ViSITED THE GYM FOR A YEAR BUT STILL THEY DEDUCTED money from account.

Negative experience: They don’t let us know about their renew policy about the membership in the beginning. In had contract with them for 2 years. When it expired they did not call me to ask whether i want to cancel it or renew it. They just keep charging me for almost 2 years and i ended up paying $535.

Negative experience: This gym is a scam, been trying to cancel my account for years but they just wont do it. They’ve made me go in circles making me call some number and then making me come back again to their location to speak to the “manager” who somehow only works for certain times of the week on specific hour of the day. This “‘manager” is never in and actually have never seen. Paid the whole year for 1 year contract and now somehow they were able to “lock me” in for another 2 years. Seeing from everybody’s review in google, I’m guessing they will do anything to grab your money and lock you in for as long as they can.

Negative experience: they are frauds .. dont go there they never guide you in anything nd even they forced you for the contract nd after that if you want to cancel it they will not even bother you dont waste money guys

Negative experience: WORST GYM EVER. I KEEP ASKING TO SPEAK TO HEAD OFFICE OR ACCOUNTING AND THEY WONT GIVE ME A PHONE NUMBER. I CANNOT GO TO THE GYM BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC AND THEY WONT HELP ME. THEY KEEP TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. THIS GYM IS A SCAM

Negative experience: I was there in January, 2021. I was new to the gym, started the very first time in my life. They didn't even share the membership cancellation policy details with me. Now, I am moved far from this location, I contacted them regarding cancelling my membership. They told me to send them a proof and pay 30%of the membership. I am just surprised from where this policy came from now. They didn't tell me at first. It is just unacceptable. They don't have professionalism in work .

Negative experience: I had to stop going during covid. People coughing and not wiping down machines. The staff sit in the office and not monitor if cleaning was happening nor do they clean. Tried to cancel my membership and was told it’s now two years not one. This business should be shut down. SCAM

Negative experience: I had a really bad experience the ladies who are working there as a representatives have no sense they chnge there own statements in seconds. I dont recommened this gym to anyone. there is nothing to like in this gym there are working just for money.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this facility to those wanting to proceed with this women’s gym. The staff are very unreliable and not professional at all. In further detail of my review, I’ve cancelled my membership and paid the rest of my 2 year contract with them but my credit card is still being charged for some reason unknown. I’ve called the facility about 2 weeks ago on a Thursday and one of their staff members informed me that their manager was going to be present on Tuesday. On Tuesday, I called the facility once again to find out why my card is still getting charged after all payments were made and approved, and to my surprise the manager was not in. I am now waiting to be reached by the manager of this location and demand an answer as to why my card is still being charged. You would think that customers needs are being attended to right away in a situation like this but to me it seems like they are putting it off for whatever reason.

Positive experience: Very good for gym for women the stuff very kind and helpful

Negative experience: I had cancelled my membership in October, and they said it takes a month to stop the payments, which is fine, but it came out in December and January. I called they refunded me for December, so for January they said it is cancelled, I am still waiting for a refund for January. I called today February 12, and the lady who answered the phone, had very poor communication skills, she was not helpful, I was getting upset and she said I have to go now and hung up. She was very rude. So someone else called me back a half hr later and said she would send a refund, she said that 2 and half weeks ago, nothing came. So the communication is awful there, I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Negative experience: Very poor communication and cancellation policies. I have followed the guidelines of cancellation and they have not reciprocated professionally. I have tried to contact them countless times and as a customer I had an expectation that this business will be professional enough to call me back when they promise to do so, both verbally and through my voice message. During these financially hard times due to Covid-19, I wanted to cancel my membership and went in-person to do so as per their instructions. They re-assured me that the last transaction will be on January 2021 when I cancelled in November 2020. I surrendered my cards but they still charged me this month of February 2021. Please have the human decency to honor your promise of not charging me anymore and refunding the February charges that I should not pay for.

Negative experience: Not going to recommend it to anyone ever. Calling them for Refund from March, still didn't get it. Everytime they say they gonna process it. Still waiting from months.

Negative experience: These people are robbing your wallet. They have been refusing to allow my mom to cancel her membership for 3 months now. Nobody has an answer for her when we call. We've even visited in person and they dont do anything about it. All staff have to say is to wait and see, "our hands are tied". Its disgusting, taking advantage of peoples wallets during a pandemic.

Fantastic experience: I joined Fit For Women Gym in 2014. The monthly membership fee is cheap and worth it given that they have very good equipment. They have friendly staff. This place is definitely a good place to work out.

Fantastic experience: It's been a year since I became a member. There are always friendly and bright staffs and if you don't know how to use equipments, they help you anytime. Also, newly installed exercise equipment has a good effect on people like me who do weight training. I sincerely recommend this place. Thank you:-)

At first , I was hesitant attending the hiit class but after the first time, I luv attending it. I have joined other fitness facilities but fit for women is the best!!!!

Fantastic experience: I love training here and seeing the great success of our clients. I love being able to support our members with the Bhangra Dance. Yoga and various workshops I offer. Childminding creates additional support for us moms who need that benefit! Hope to see you soon in one of our classes

Fantastic experience: I loved this gym and my instructor. I currently joined the HIIT and it works well with myself and my body. I had a knee problem, always feeling sore to both of my knees but since I joined the HIIT class, I felt the difference, no knee sore anymore and I become more energetic. All machines are work well and the staffs are friendly. Come join us for a healthy and happy body. I loved it and will keep it up.

Fantastic experience: Everything is really clean and there taking good safety precautions the entire gym is filled with cleaning supplies so you don’t have to look hard and try to find it and the social distancing is good and I like that it’s not like other gyms where we only have an hour to workout or have to make appointments they made it simple and safe and I love coming everyday and feel really fresh after

Fantastic experience: This week has been just 5 weeks of me coming to the gym four days a week since March of this year because of the pandemic. I braved to attend again the classes because I gained weight staying at home. I could no longer fit in some of my favorite outfits. On the second week, surprise, surprise I could already zipped up my clothes with ease. My most favourite programs are HIIT, Cardio Zumba, Zumba and Yoga. With just $15.00 a month, it definitely is worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: I first joined after I had my daughter 9 years ago, I loved it then . . . So much so that once I moved back into the area, there was only one choice of gym for me to join - and it was Fit For Women... The staff do such a wonderful job of creating a warm, inclusive welcoming environment that you can't help but appreciate. Without fail I am greeted by bright smiling faces. As a feminist myself who works towards ending violence against women and children for a living, having a safe place to workout without the leering of men is comforting. Plus the classes are an added bonus. The only thing I wish to be different is - I would like it if they were open later for us shift work ladies, and for them to be open 7 days a week. I've had to join a whole new gym just to be able to workout on Sundays.

Fantastic experience: I love it here! The facility is clean, the equipment is just what I need and the staff are phenomenal. I am glad for the option of the babysitting facility when I need to bring my little ones, and the staff are so friendly and attentive. There’s many class options which is great so I can change up my workout as often as I need to. Happy I have a place to feel supported in my workouts and fitness journey!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member since January 2017 (#40753) after following some friends and beloved instructors to this gym. Every single one of my experiences at the gym has been very positive. The washrooms have always been very clean and the toilets have always been in order. This gym has always had clear communication about what classes are running, cancellations or subs. The new management has given the walls a new coat of paint even though there were new colours on the walls from a few years ago when there was a big reno to expand the floor space in the group exercise area. With the new Covid regulations now there are clearly marked spots for participants to stand on that are spaced 7.5 feet apart. Classes are booked online and if the classes are full there are some walk-in spots reserved or the class can be taken through Zoom. The new owner is hands-on, amazing, inspiring and I think knows the names of every participant. I participate in 7 classes a week at this gym as it offers Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Step, HIIT, Yoga, Step, Taebo etc. The instructors are top-notch. I love them all. It's an incredible team at FFWG working together to make sure members can achieve their physical goals. My own mental health has improved since March with my regular participation.

I've been with FFW for last 5 yrs, rate is good compared to other gyms. During this covid since it's open, 2 new classes as HIIT, TAIBO along with zumba,zumba toning ,zumba steps, bhangra .All became my favorite . You wanna see changes I would recommend to come and try. They offer 3 free passes to try out any class , I'm sure you wont go wrong . FFW ROCKS

The staff is amazing, and incredibly helpful. The facility is clean and professional. They offer a wide variety of classes, both mornings and evenings. It has been amazing to work out and work toward all my fitness goals at Fit For Women!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for nearly four years. When you walk through the door you feel completely at home. The instructors are incredible and the variety of classes (check their website) will have you try classes that you wouldn’t normally do ( think..HITT, TAEBO or POUND). If it’s circuit training you are looking for...they have it there as well as all the other gym equipment. I highly recommend this gym!

While they are helpinging us getting into shape with their awesome classes they are having fun and getting us to have fun while working out. A very clean environment. Thecalsees are intense and well worth it. I have never had a better workout in my life like I have it at fit for women. They have a great team of powerful women as instructors and mentors. Fantastic experience: When I started at this gym I was super nervous about being judged. But the moment I walked in I felt like a warm hug had come over me and I was accepted. I'm one month in and I can't say enough good things about this gym. It's clean, it has amazing instructors and fitness classes and it's not busy all the time. Negative experience: I've been a member for 5 years now and the only reason I stay is because I like the zumba instructors. The administration response time is so bad and sometimes you get charged for something that you don't get a notification why? I am debating of cancelling at this gym.

Negative experience: The worst gym I ever seen I started gym in November they said it will be 19.95$ per month for 2 years but the trainer didn’t told me that it’s contract and they also charged me 50$ membership fees I pay That I went to gym only for 3 times after that I didn’t get time to go so I thought that I should cancel my membership but they said you need to pay 30% of the remaining balance I pay that but the limit was cross when they Again cut 51.35$ from my account without letting me know I call them and the trainer said you need to talk with accounting person (manager) I said ok after that I call them many times but nobody ever answer the phone. I have all the witness with me who can prove that they are lier and doing big fraud I will file complaint against them.

Negative experience: If I could, I wouldn't even give one star. PLEASE do NOT ever SIGN UP with them, because you would have to end up putting them on block list, they KEEP calling you and leaving you voice messages almost every day. HATS OFF to their dedication for this, but it is UNPROFESSIONAL.

As i just wanted to join gym only for 2 months... they haven’t told me that to be member of this worst gym you have do sign the contract of 2 years....i only went to this gym for hardly 5 times...when i went their to cancel my membership .... they said no.... you have to pay 500 something dollars to cancel membership .... they just make people fool.. and many times i called to their head office they never forward their call to anyone...!!!! The all i want from this gym is ... please cancel my membership i don't have this much money to pay every month..!!!!

Negative experience: This place is expensive. I have joined over a year ago and want to give written notice to cancel. I stopped payment for a year and they are now taking funds again for 26.25 a month. My membership is 41969. The gym is not clean and I have contracted some illness. I can't compromise my health. Cancel contract. Thanks for your response. I have received another debit to my account this month for 26.25 and my membership is not canceled. It is not canceled and I would like to cancel as you have stated it is canceled and I have paid again. Another month the $26.25 has been debited from my account after a couple months of your cancellation. I suppose that I have no legal rights with this company and I am going to have to do a chargeback with my bank account to protect myself from you. I also can switch my entire bank account to another bank if you are planning on doing this for the rest of the time I am here on earth. Have a good day :) Laura

Negative experience: Very bad experience, they lie to us. I cancelled my membership two months ago after the joining of second day. They never refund ur money moreover charging me for Every month. I called them 4 times a week they forwarded my cl to their head office but no one reply. I left 4 voicemail but no reply no cl. Never go to this zym. They think they are very smart other people are stupid.

Negative experience: The worst gym I have ever seen, extremely rude customer service not honest people at all. Takes advantage of new immigrants buy abusing their Language barriers and make them go under 2 years contract and giving them wrong information. Did the same thing to my wife making her owe almost $450. NVER RECCOMENDED. Tried to contact the customer service always go to voice mail and Never reply So disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I love the group classes. Esp step and tone and zumba. I'll try the belly dancing on tuesday. I hope they the time for belly dancing to a bit earlier time say, 6:30. 7:30 is too late.

Negative experience: I was a member for over a year. I would say that I enjoy the time I had until a traumatic incident on one of their equipments happened on May 9, 2019. The cable of the latteral pull down snapped and a metal thing from the top dropped on my forehead that cause me a little scratch, big lump that sticked with me for 2 weeks and t'was painful to the touched. Had a minor concussion that leads me missing a day of work and it's pretty traumatizing for me. The staff were helpful filling out an Incident report and giving me an ice pack but no one offered to bring me to the Emergency room as Surrey Memorial Hospital is just 5mins away from the gym. My husband luckily was a little further away to the gym picked and brought me to the emergency room. Anita, lady from head office tried to reach me multiple times but everytime i tried to get back of her, no one was up to answer my call backs and I think the gym staff doesn't know how to transfer a call because it always never get through. Anita, message me twice and I never saw a word "apology" or just taking a responsibility why it happened until I requested to cancel my membership with them. If you are thinking to join this gym, please take a moment to look at their equipments. I just realized most of their equipments are old, and i assure the one I used was faulty. Don't be dazzled on a $10-15 monthly fee. Clearly everything comes with a price, cheap price cheap service.

Fantastic experience: Love this Gym!!! Awesome customer service and very clean. I always look forward to working out after a hard days work and I’m glad I chose this gym.

Negative experience: Worst gym ever.Even my membership is over. They are still withdrawing money from my account.The receptionist did not even listen to me.She transferred my call to head office and head office did not pick up the call.I strongly suggest everyone not to sign a contract with this gym.It was very bad experience.Fit for women gym is fraud.

Negative experience: I had called to cancel my membership in 2017-2018 as I moved out of province. No one returned my call regarding my phone message. They continued to send me emails on how much I owed. I called numerous times and only got a voicemail. I was extremely disappointed as I was three provinces away and had no way of getting to the gym!!! Instead they did not cancel my membership and made me pay a huge huge amount of money. Please, to anyone, signing a contract, find a gym that you do not have to as I learned the hard way. Fit for Women Gym I ask that you remove me from your records as I do not want to see another annual fee withdrawn from my account or have anything to do with this gym ever again. This situation was extremely hard on me.

Negative experience: I am no longer a member, but despite the fact that my contract has expired, the company continues to withdraw payment. On my attempt to contact the main office, the afto-responder is triggered. Nobody called me back.
