Negative experience: Well if u join this gym u can’t change ur shoes in the car apparently they don’t trust their customers you have to change shoes in front of their cameras otherwise they will charge you for it very controlling environment i never had this issue with any of other anytime fitness branches ,,, avoid this place

Negative experience: Terrible Staff. Terrible Management. Staff doesn't tell you the truth. PLEASE DON'T GET STUCK HERE. THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS. When i joined, the staff lady(Amrit) told me it's going to be a yearly contract but could be canceled at a small fee. I had death in my family and had to leave the country suddenly, and eventually got stuck in some family matters. In short, i can't come back for 6 months. When i told i I wanted to cancel and give them the reason, these inhuman money greedy people told me i couldn't cancel it midway and had to pay the contract in full. They don't care if anyone lives dies. Whatever goes with you, they will lure you with false contexts and are just after money.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for your dedication to supporting and encouraging your members to develop a healthy lifestyle. I have attended several gyms during my life, I am 57 years old, I am very impressed with the care and dedication Sal put into assessing my fitness level at no extra cost. This gym offers with its subscription to evaluate your fitness progress every 4 to 6 weeks. You have goal setting sessions on what you want to work on, like endurance, strength, cardio, weight loss, etc. I have loved the enthusiasm, energy and professionalism I receive every time I meet Sal and his team. There is no doubt that he is passionate about his work and his friendly approach is infectious and very motivating to achieve your personal goals. The gym is very clean and the people who work out there are also very friendly. I also work there with other coaches and they all bring the same authentic attitude to help you improve your health. My whole family of 4 works out at Any Fitness now and we have nothing but good things to say about the gym and staff. If you are determined to develop a healthy lifestyle in a very friendly and helpful environment, I highly suggest you join this gym, I promise you will be blessed and you will not regret this investment in yourself.

Negative experience: Worst Gym in Brampton They don’t care about you or your needs; they are just a money sucking firm disguised as a Gym. Initially they lure you into buying their cleverly constructed memberships (in Gym’s favour) and then once they have your credit card info they find ways to charge you extra money and you cant even cancel the membership by any means possible. SO DONT BUY THEIR MEMBERSHIP, GO FOR PLANET FITNESS OR FIT 4 LESS INSTEAD, OR GOODLIFE FITNESS IF YOU HAVE A GOOD BUDGET.

Fantastic experience: I'm really glad I joined! The gym is clean, most people take good care of cleaning down the equipment after use, there are friendly people (both staff and members), and it's not too busy when I go. Sal, the owner and my coach, is very knowledgeable, attentive to my particular health situation, caring, and his passion for fitness and to help people is evident. Although my particular condition has been challenging, Sal has been consistently helping me find ways to improve my fitness level without injuring myself. Luisa is always very nice, as well as the other staff members. I personally appreciate the fact that it's a smaller gym because it's not as crazy busy and we get more of a sense of community. Our whole family is member there, and Sal has been going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for.

Negative experience: I've been a member of this gym for nearly a year, and it's frustrating to see that the machines are constantly broken. It's understandable that machines can break down, but the issue lies with their maintenance. Some machines have been out of order for over three weeks, which is a major disappointment. The main reason I joined this gym was its convenient location near my place.
Positive experience: The new girl is very pretty she gave me a tour of the gym and was very Nice and Respectful. Will be coming back to join shortly.

Fantastic experience: Love the atmosphere of the gym! I am not local as my local anytime is always rammed and I don’t love the atmosphere of the people / staff so I prefer to drive to this one! I have been coming on and off for about 4-5 years I believe. The owner and staff are always sweet. Never have any issue with anything. The only thing I will say which I won’t hate on the business for as it’s really not on them is that when the warmer weather comes the gym smells awful. It’s not the gym it’s self but the people. There has been a few times where I’ve left or just left a machine as I can’t even finish what I’m doing because of the smell coming from the person near me. Unfortunate as it’s not something that can be overly controlled as you hope people have basic hygiene! Favourite gym around I will continue to go as long as I live nearby!

Negative experience: ⚠️These guys are fraud. I bought their membership last year in September. While buying the membership I asked her that I will have to cancel the membership in 3-4 months as i’ll be moving so will there be any fees or any charges that I will have to pay even when i’ll not be using your services. She straight up said to my face that no there’s no such thing. That is the reason I went ahead with the membership. three months later I asked her to cancel the membership and she asked me to pay $600 to close the membership for the whole year. These charges were never even discussed. When I confronted her about the conversation we had earlier, she refused completely. They have been harassing me ever since. Guys please be aware. I have been using goodlife ever since and they have been great. Anytime fitness guys are thieves, will loot you out of your money, they lie to your face. They will do anything to get you to sign their membership and these people will then threaten you to take your credit score down and to the collections department. Please guys your credit score is way more important than a few bucks. Rather go to goodlife or la fitness instead. Anytime fitness will keep harassing you through phone calls and emails endlessly. Don’t ever take their word of mouth, they will change their wordings in an instant to gulp money out of your pocket. Edit: There is no need to reply now and be nice! If you would have been that true, I would have never bought the membership in the first place. Start with asking your employees to not lie, especially Jamie. Guys these people took $650 out of my card as cancellation fees for that bedroom of a gym!!

Negative experience: I personally don't feel this gym is clean or well up kept. Cleanest part of gym was in bathrooms but they did smell like sewage. Lack of equipment, not spaced out well, lack of attachments for machines and extra weights to add onto weighted machines. Equipment is very run down.. everything seems backwards in this gym. Staff were nice and working but I would not pay more than 25$ a month for a facility like this. Needs improvements.
Our experience has shown that our members enjoy having a clean gym and we do our best to keep it as clean as they have come to expect. As a facility, were committed to maintaining a high standard of club etiquette. One courtesy that we ask of our members is to have everyone change their shoes upon arrival. We also expect members to wipe and clean their equipment after use as a courtesy to others. Our members are happy to comply because they recognize the benefit of having a clean facility for themselves and others. It has always been our goal to provide our community members with a gym they feel comfortable in. Negative experience: Nothing I expected very poorly managed
Negative experience: Extremely disappointed in the way management handled amending my membership plan. After being with this club for 6 years, it was finally about time to find another gym. There is no accountability and ownership with management. They lack functionality because they don’t have someone being able to manage their office regularly. Since they aren’t able to manage their calls/texts/emails, the member has to bare the consequences, which is absolutely ridiculous. I reached out to the club Jan 16 to make amendments to my membership for Feb 11 and because they took 2 weeks to respond (after I followed up with them twice), I was told the couldn’t make the amendment until the following month due to “limited time”. They blamed it on “short staffed” and “a busy January” and then I had to bare the negative consequences. Lol.. way to manage customer service. You admit to it being your fault, but then still make me pay for it. Quite interesting. Feedback has been shared with management but this review was necessary. Also, when the member pays a maintenance fee to “maintain the gym” - the bar bells shouldn't be without labels for over a year (this was well after COVID too). When I brought this up to the club, they “permanently fixed it” by using label makers. If you used a label maker you would know this is temporary and can be peeled off.

Negative experience: I see reviews about cancellation of this gym so i decided to post 1 , i joined this gym to relax my mind and then after a month i got nerve pain in my left leg and i stopped going gym and my iron and b12 went so low , i went for doctor appointment and doctor asked not to lift weight , so i asked gym to cancel membership they asked for doctor note , i sent doctor note but its been month the manager(jamie) didnt gave me any reply even didnt respond to any call. So i personally went to her but she didnot gave any reason for not responding and she asked your doctor didnt mention any time frame on doctor note. Please educate your staff that they should give proper information to clients.
Negative experience: Big No to this club, it’s garbage there customer service is 0 ,manager jamie even dont know what she is doing they are just fooling clients and even don’t know how to respect client.when i signed for this club she never told anything about policy its her duty to tell or ask to read backside of doc. , i got after 2 weeks medical emergency( which obv. I didnt knew before) and i tried to cancel my membership which they never helped in that. I gave them doctor note and i sent my air ticket that i am going back home for medical treatment which they never accepted. Its been 2 months now i am trying to cancel. This lady never answer a phone call or just give excuses, then she said u can freeze memship , i tried to that and there memship services dept. never found my account, they said its never registered. I asked this lady again that they cant find my info to freeze account and after i have done with this all then she said u still get charged even after freezing memshp. Seriously lady, atleast give all information upfront when u r singing client for memshp. Again I say never go for this club they never cancel or freeze your memship even in medical emergency . Big no no
Negative experience: you can find a better gym with better space, equipment and service.
Negative experience: Came in for a tour, the girl at the desk, I believe her name is Jamie, instantly turned me away, gave some lame excuse about them being busy. So this place just turns away potential clients? I was told to come in the next day but she didn’t even bother taking down my information. Will definitely not be joining this gym and will recommend my co-workers who were interested in joining not to either since there is no proper customer service.
Positive experience: It doesnt have a calf raise machine
Negative experience: Overall gym is well kept and clean BUT however, I would say a rather disturbing occurrence has been noticed by myself and fellow members, two of the workers, one male, and the girl with black hair go into some management room almost every time I'm there. They are in that room for over an hour, at times when I need assistance, they are nowhere to be found on the gym floor. I believe as a member it is disrespectful that these employees are consistently not available and its quite disrespectful. Other than them, all other staff is amazing!

WiFi password not display on wall. i asked one the employee and she don’t even have the wifi password. Am not sure should i pay more to unlock features at this location or what. i sent them email to cancel my membership but nobody answered.

Negative experience: Very bad experience. Its been week i am trying to cancel the membership but the staff is not at all helpful. They don’t respond to email unless you send several emails and no one ever answers the phone calls. So unprofessional. Definitely avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: Sal, the owner, is an incredible man. Extremely passionate and very well educated. I trained at this facility and was treated extremely well by the staff. In my lifetime I have been part of 10 different fitness facilities, none compare with the staff and service at this particular club.
Negative experience: Went here a couple weeks ago and I must say the gym smelt horrible. Not necessarily the owners fault but they need to add more air fresheners or speak to guests about proper hygiene. Also layout made it very difficult when it was busy as I couldn’t finish a set without people walking beside me. Had to leave early due to lack of hygiene from other guests.

We make it a priority to address that particular concern when its brought to our attention. As with hygiene, fresheners are a sensitive issue. While its very easy to see how they would be the solution to dealing with personal body odour, if they are used too abundantly they can be intrusive in their own right. Nevertheless we will take your feedback to heart and redouble our efforts. With respect to layout, we're always interested to get feedback from those that use the facility. When you suggest that our gym is 'TOO small for a gym' we're not quite sure what you mean. The facility provides our members with everything they need to reach their goals. That includes a compliment of 20 pieces of cardio equipment, 15 pieces of selectorised and cable units, 3 squat racks, multiple benches, plates and Olympic bars, dumbells from 1lbs to 125lbs, kettle bells, plyo balls and more. Negative experience: Edit - While my review was quite awhile ago, I'd like to clarify (in response to THEIR response) that my complaint was about the attitude of a very specific staff member (likely the one replying, since he knows exactly what I was referring to, incident wise), not about outside/inside shoes. FYI, I had changed my outdoor shoes to my weightlifting/squat shoes at the door. I'm sure most people can probably believe that I'm not walking around outside with Nike Romaleos on. Dropped down star rating just for such a poor customer service reply, but hey maybe I'm the crazy one since this was many years ago - that dude may be long gone and the rest of the staff was perfectly fine. Not my normal Anytime Fitness, but certainly the worst I've visited. It's small and whoever was in the office seemed to get a nice power trip from whatever he can with people. Disgusting. 3 stars literally just because it was clean and not too busy.

We hope you understand that asking you to wipe down your shoes when you visited us was nothing personal against you and definitely not an attempt to impose any unreasonable demands on our part. We were simply trying to respect the effort that our members and staff make in providing the clean environment that you enjoyed. While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, we must respectfully disagree that it is disgusting to ask people to ensure that shoes they have worn outside are clean before they enter the gym or make use of our change rooms where people often walk barefoot
Positive experience: Not the best value for your money, small place that gets really busy, old equipment, not enough sets of weight, most times you'll just be waiting around if someone is using what you need. The only reason I chose this location is to save time since it's very close to my residence. 3 Stars is more than generous.

We normally keep the volume at this gym at 43 decibels which is generally considered to be a comfortable level of volume. Negative experience: I usually don't write reviews about businesses but this one must be done, be aware of the contracts and fees you are about to get yourself into. After about 3 years of this gym enough was enough i finally left and joined Goodlife gym about 5 mins away and for a much better price and the main thing better staff. This gym is run by a couple of youngsters and personal trainers that need training them self to start with. Tell me this would you get financial advice from a person that is successful in life or someone that is struggling... this just makes me feel disappointed when i see other gym members falling for their advice, honestly i paid for a week and it was a complete waste. One last thing the maintenance on the equipment is horrible gym owner too cheap to get new equipment people always waiting or fighting for a bench. Overall stay away from this gym and join the Goodlife or any other gym locations.
Zalmai, we appreciate the time you took to share your opinion of our facility. We're sorry you felt this way and wish you had brought your concerns to us. We do our best to be very clear and upfront about all regular charges with people before they sign up. We've always taken care to review all gym fees several times before our registration process is over. We're not quite sure if you were with us for three years or one week as you mention both time frames in your comments but we can assure you our trainers and staff are highly qualified. All of our staff must have completed at the very least a three year college program in fitness and exercise counselling and must have a minimum of a personal training certification. Two of our staff are Registered Kinesiologists and both are Certified Exercise Physiologists. We are more than happy to verify all this information with anyone who asks. While we agree that we have a limited number of benches, that isn't because the owners are 'cheap' but because there is a limit to the space that we have in the gym. We would love to be able to provide our members more benches and would do so if adding more benches didn't make the space issue worse. While space is limited in the gym, we find that for most members it isn't a huge factor that limits their ability to complete a good workout in a reasonable amount of time. Again, thank you for taking the time to let us know where we can improve.
Fantastic experience: Been going to this gym since 2013 and its the best gym for convenience. Great staff and very knowledgeable. Great set of equipment. Only small issue is that I wish they added one more power/squat rack. Even though 2 is good, sometimes they are being occupied so a 3rd one would be better. Overall amazing gym and amazing staff. Sal is the best!
