F45 Training Mississauga Downtown

Negative experience: It looks like this gym has completely shut down. No phone number, no scheduled classes, no operations going on on the main F45 website for this location. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I tried to book a class and cannot find any way or form to do so.

Fantastic experience: Love this studio

Fantastic experience: This facility is clean and well taken care of. The staff are kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Love this location and the concept of F45. You dont need to set up anything and there are no distractions. Get in, out and on with your busy day.

Fantastic experience: Amazing team and support

Negative experience: Love the trainers here, but the F45 policies & HQ is not recommended. If I wasn’t careful with checking my membership, I’ve been charged for classes that I shouldn’t have been charged for on multiple occasions, even to hold my membership for 2 months was $30 and I found out after. After many situations where the trainers did their best to handle it with the limits they have, I requested to cancel my membership due to the lack of flexibility with HQ and trust with payments. Even just to cancel my membership took 5 days to get back to me, where I was charged for July and was told it’s nonrefundable as a 28 day notice is required. Not happy with the policies, so recommend not getting a membership here. Maybe try using classpass instead. While this has been sorted already, wanted to give a heads up as I was still denied a refund for July after all of these experiences.

Fantastic experience: I don't regret coming to F45 training classes. The coaches are super nice especially Derrek and Ali. The place is clean and everyone there is welcoming . The classes are very effective if you put your hard work!!!! I would definitely recommend my friends and family at this location.

Fantastic experience: The F45 concept is perfect for someone with a busy schedule. You just show up, and everything is ready for you. The coaches at this location are knowledgeable and have great personalities. This gym is definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience: I don't know what the criteria for hiring the trainers here is but THEY'RE ALL SO NICE!!!! Very professional, friendly and approachable at all times. They have helped me with correcting my technique to work around my weak lower back which has helped me tremendously, I'm much stronger now and the pain is gone. They showed me alternative exercises for any one that I found difficult to do. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: Best place to be!!! Coaches are very encouraging, supportive, and help out whenever someone doesn’t know how to do a specific exercise or requires adjustments. Days vary between cardio, strength and hybrid which I LOVE. Thank you folks for everything, I appreciate the support

Fantastic experience: One month in and loving it so far. The coaches are very encouraging and they challenge you just the right amount to keep you engaged. They are also attentive so it’s very helpful in ensuring you have the right form if you’re not used to the movements- which is definitely true in my case!

Fantastic experience: I started going to f45 because I received a pass from a marathon and I haven’t stopped going since!! It’s a great studio and a very welcoming environment. I’m definitely challenged in every class since everyday is a different routine. All the trainers are extremely encouraging & will motivate/push you which is difficult when working out on your own at other gyms. I’m extremely happy with my results from working out at the f45 Mississauga studio and consistently recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic experience: F45 Mississuaga downtown is a great location from the admin. team who was very helpful in the sign up process and was always there to answer my questions to the great coaches that run the classes. I enjoyed my time at F45 here and hope to be back here soon!

Fantastic experience: The workouts are great! 45 minutes is plenty of time to get your sweat on, and there's tons of variety. You'll never do the same workout twice, as they're constantly introducing new exercises and varying the number of exercises, set counts, work duration and rest duration. F45 does a good job using technology: you can text management questions, the app is convenient for booking/cancelling classes (which you can then easily add to your calendar), and the TV monitors in the gym have timers, set counts, and show the exercises on loop. Plus, there's loud music playing throughout the workout, which I'll gladly take over listening to myself pant. I was originally skeptical about the level of support I'd receive in a group training environment, but management has done a great job keeping the coach-to-trainee ratio down and employing the right people. Because that's where the true magic is: the coaches. What a team! I've trained multiple times with most of the coaches, and they've been fantastic. Most importantly for me, they've shown a genuine concern for my lingering injuries, and an interest in my recovery. They proactively offer modified exercises, consistently monitor and consult on form, and are always available for questions. They do all of this all while keeping the atmosphere light and challenging you to perform. Shoutout to Tevon, Jesse, Sarah, Nikki, Krishna, & Joe. I appreciate you! My recommendation: if it's in your price range, it's a no brainer. A great group and fun workouts to help you achieve your fitness goals...especially if those goals involve cardio :) To current & prospective clients: some movements are advanced, so take your time to learn the proper form and raise questions/concerns with the coaches. The team environment is motivating, but make sure you're listening to your body. Lower weight, fewer reps, and/or modified exercises are going to do much more for you in the long run. The coaches at Mississauga Downtown are approachable, knowledgeable, and want you to succeed - take advantage of that! To management/coaches: thank you, thank you, thank you! One idea for improvement: for hybrid stations (e.g. 10 mountain climbers + 2 squat jumps), consider adding small laminated number cards as a reference for the rep counts of each component exercise. (For the above example, that station would have a "10" and a "2".) Particularly when the workout has a bunch of stations, keeping track of these can be tough. Looking forward to tomorrow's workout!

Fantastic experience: I tried out a 7 day trial last fall and bought a class pass immediately afterwards because I had a great experience with the classes. I was sad about the pandemic-related closure but it is what it is. Indoor classes reopened today and they were very good about distancing and safety measures. I'm sure we will be back to normal in no time. Huge kudos to the team for extending my class pass expiry by a few months to give me extra time to use them due to the lockdown. Nice goodwill gesture that not all places would offer.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming here weekly for a couple months before covid and on March 10 they charged my card for the following week in which I wasn’t able to use the services due to covid. I called and left a message about my payment and the uncertainty with covid but no one called me back. I recently just got a hold of one of the staff, explained my situation from March and she basically told me I will not get a refund or anything so I asked for the Franchise owner to contact me. Doug called me and I explained to him I was charged in March for services I didn’t get to use due to covid and what my options were since I didn’t want to come back to this locations as I’m still working from home in another city. He was very unprofessional and told me he couldn’t do anything for me that I lost my week I paid for and I would be “taking money from his family” if I asked for a refund? I’m sorry Doug what does your family have to do with me paying for a service I didn’t get to utilize due to covid? The conversation was extremely unpleasant, Doug continued to talk over me, mad me listen to his financial problems. I was so upset by the demeaning way he spoke to me and I told him I would never come back to a “community” like that.

Initially, I felt this is too much, after going to the sessions regularly, I am enjoying the sessions. This is place i sweat, learn and train.Trainers are cautious, courteous and will help you in your growth. In case you are joining F45, don't miss Saturday's session, Training with DJ is always fun!!

Positive experience: Awesome vibe - trainers and participants. The 45 minute duration is surprisingly enough for workout. The variety in classes is also good - focusing on different aspects of fitness. It’s a small place but they make excellent use of it. I attend the last class for the day and sometimes it happens that there are no towels in men’s room. So check it before you undress for the shower! Parking is also convenient - underground visitor parking of the building which is free for one hour and if you stay more than an hour then you can get a ticket from them that gives one additional hour of parking.

I have been working out at another gym for years the pain i received after one workout at F45 was actually a great feeling. Intense 45-60(Saturday) minutes of workout it will increase heartbeat, for sure.
