Fantastic experience: As a recent import to Chilliwack one of my priorities was to find a local gym, and this Anytime branch has all the equipment I could ever need including a full-size punching bag. I showed up well after dark one evening thinking to pick up a pamphlet or whatever membership info might be available to supplement the website, and despite the time and my not having an appointment, Pat made time to give me a full tour and sign me up, which I hugely appreciate. The gym is clean and well-maintained, I can get access any time I want to work out via my phone, and membership includes regular checks and body scans with a professional. All the staff I've interacted with have been knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and it's never yet been so crowded that I've had to wait for a machine or change up my plans.

Negative experience: Stay far away from this gym. The owner knows absolutely nothing about fitness . What's worse is it is impossible to cancel a membership. They keep charging even after you cancel and give excuse after excuse as to why the payment keeps coming out. I had to put a stop payment on them at my bank. The teller told me that it's very common amd asked me "Is it Anytime by chance ? Many people come in here doing the same for Anytime fitness." Definitely the worst gym I town.
Hi John, I hope you're doing well. Your payments and membership were cancelled on August 06 when you pointed out the pride flag you had been uncomfortable with. I called ABC Fitness to make sure no other payments had been made. ABC Fitness assured me that this was the only payment made since August 06, except that your account with Club 16 has been taking payments with ABC Fitness. So please get in touch with Club 16, as ABC Fitness was paying for that Gym, not Anytime Fitness. Regarding your comment to the owner, we believe you have never spoken to the owner about Fitness. Anytime Fitness Downtown Chilliwack is considered a platinum club, meaning that the club you're speaking of is among the top 20 in North America regarding health and fitness. Fantastic experience: I h’ve been part this gym from past 18 months. One of the best things about anytime is that it is 24/7. Recently i faced an issue regarding the billing on my account which was resolved in no time. Thanks to PAT who assisted me over the same. Negative experience: They only do group fitness. Hog up most of the space during those periods. They will set up a Bluetooth speaker right beside you which will drown out your headphones. I have had my equipment taken from trainers with out asking if I am done. The staff does not show form and will sit on their phone while a whole a program plays for your hour of training you paid for. Also the trainers do not look like what a trainer should be..

I understand that you have chosen to remain anonymous, and while I respect your decision, I want to assure you that I am here to address your concerns and make your experience at Anytime Fitness a positive one. We do not offer group fitness. Group Fitness is done by a non-provisional. If you are speaking of our coaching sessions, this is done by an educated professional certified to instruct a coaching session designed by a physiologist. We offer three versions with three levels, with no more than 8 per session. Each session includes modification, if required, to each member being coached. Each member also has a sports nutritionist they meet with weekly and much more. Based on your commitments, if you cannot share, understand, or respect others or think you are entitled to the entire gym, you really don't belong in the Anytime Fitness network. We value respect, understanding, and the recognition that each member has their own unique fitness goals. We encourage a supportive environment where members share the space and refrain from making judgments before being fully informed. This is the type of member we strive to have in our club. We would like to meet you in person to discuss this further. Please book an appointment with the front office so we can assist you further.
Negative experience: Owner is not ethical and only concerned with his money with no regards for his customers I wouldn’t recommend anyone giving him business, everyone i know who has signed up here has had countless amounts of problems especially with getting money back whether it being cancelation, refund etc. Stay away from this gym save yourself the trouble and money!!
Hi Lavish, Your account is showing cancelled as of Aug 07th this year. Your membership was open-ended, meaning you could always cancel your membership at any time with a 30-day notice. We have also called ABC Fitness, the company that manages your payments, to ensure your account has any outstanding credits requiring a refund. ABC Fitness has assured us that your account has been closed, and no other refunds or payments are needed. Our MXM member Experience manager contacted you many times to offer support while you were a member, but the MXM never received a response. If you need anything further from us, please reach out to our MXM Narda, who will be more than happy to help.
Negative experience: I have been struggling since December to get my money back from the months i was charged after cancelling my membership in person with Rick. In August of last year i was moving to a small town in Alberta and was wanting to cancel my membership hopefully without they’re being another anytime fitness within the 30 km range so i didn’t have to continue paying. Just my luck there was one within 30 km but it was just too far to commute to everyday. So my only option being was to accept the loss and pay the remainder of my membership off till November 2nd. I was charged 41.95 every 2 weeks all the way up until December 28th. I’ve reached out many many times and it was very hard to get in contact with anyone, I was able to stop my payments through ABC and while they were super helpful they informed me, anyway of my money being returned would be through the club location i signed up with. I very much would appreciate if someone as in Rick or whoever has taken over could reach out to me because this is a outstanding problem which only cause business loss, most definitely do not recommend this location
Hi Veronika, Your membership was cancelled on Dec 27, 2023 when requested. Your agreement was originally until Nov 02, 2023, but it became open-ended. We requested a canccelation from ABC Fitness on Nov 27 so this date is your 30 days notice so Dec 27, 2023 was your last day this needs to be in person but we did this an alternative way. We have also checked with the billing company ABC Fitness, and they are showing no funds to be refunded. If you have any payments in 2024, please forward them to us, and we will request a refund for you. But at this time, ABC Fitness is stating nothing needs to be refunded.

Fantastic experience: Pat was very helpful with solving a payment issue and without hesitation waived a late fee for me with a very friendly and welcoming demeanour.

Negative experience: Does not reply to emails. Elite membership won't let a friend from Delta join, even though that's a perk. Their website says 1 guest over 30 km away. But they are now saying the guest also has to be within 60 km? I asked for clarification where I could find more details and nothing happened.

I hope I can assist you. Anyone from any district or city can join any Anytime Fitness location in the world. We allow our members to bring in a guest at no cost for the first visit. After that, they can apply for a free 10-day trial if they are within our district or city. Fantastic experience: Originally signed up at the Vedder location and had a very poor experience there. Rick did a fantastic job helping me through the membership related issues the other location gave me and he went above and beyond to help. 10/10 would recommend this gym based on my experience here.

Fantastic experience: The ATF 24/7 location on Alexander Avenue is the best gym I've been to. It's clean, bright and has excellent equipment. I'm a senior with arthritis in both knees and am prone to stiffness. I recommend people take group classes or individual training, at least initially, to achieve the results they want. I like the The coaches can customize your workout to your needs and restrictions. It's also great to see more seniors going to the club. One person gave a negative review because the owner approached him about making a lot of noise when doing heavy lifting. I support the owner as hearing people grunt loudly and slamming the equipment down hard is not fair to other members working out more respectfully.

Fantastic experience: I started a little over 2 weeks ago. Love the staff, love the trainers. They are helpful and listen to what you want and your needs, they are not pushy at all. I would absolutely recommend this place 100%

Negative experience: The owner is dreadful to deal with and is clearly very concerned with money. My boyfriend and I started a 10 day trial but after a few days we decided the gym wasn’t for us. We booked a fitness assessment appointment with one of the trainers which would have been on the 8th day of our trial. We were planning to use this time to cancel our membership, however the trainer contacted us the day before our appointment and cancelled on us. We told her we wanted to cancel the trial and asked when would be a good time to do so. We also called the gym, no one answered, I left a voicemail saying we wanted to cancel and to please call me back. We went into the gym the following day to cancel, no one was around. No one returned our phone calls. The gym remained unstaffed for over 48 hours. The trainer then got back to us and told us we could come in on Tuesday at the earliest to cancel our membership. My boyfriend went in on Tuesday and were told by the owner that we were one day late, our ten trial is up and we’re locked for two years.. or we can pay the initial $114 monthly fee as well as a $300 cancellation fee. He got pretty verbally aggressive with my boyfriend. He also left me a voicemail saying “it’s always unfortunate when this happens but welcome to the club, hope you enjoy your membership and if I can help in the future I will”. The only help I would appreciate is to not have this man charge our credit cards for the next 2 years of my life. The gym itself is a decent place, the owner however is quite the opposite.
Hi Stephanie, Thank you for the review. We always appreciate it, even if it's a one-star. During the signing up with any gym in BC, your options are to cancel at no cost during the ten days. During the ten days you have received a security key, it must be returned when you wish to cancel at no cost during the free ten-day trial. We cannot cancel over the phone or by email; this must be in person during the advertised staff times, as the club is open 24/7/365 per year, but staff hours are posted in the club and the front door. You may even book an appointment online. The only day we were not available during your 10-day free trial was the family day. Yes, your partner did come to the club but was very agitated, argumentative and threatening. During your 10-day free trial, all of the above and more was explained to both of you in-depth verbally with email also. If you would like to change the conversation to why you signed up regarding your health needs, our staff is always willing to help you progress regarding your health and fitness.

Negative experience: OWNER is an absolute wildcard. I was having a good workout, he lurks up to me and tells me that dropping the barbell with competition bumper plates on the Olympic platform during clean and jerks is not allowed at his facility. I explained to him that he wasn’t being very inclusive and Anytime fitness accepts all people all the time, not some of the time or when he decides. I’m not sure what he wants people to use the platform for then, possibly hanging laundry. He said there was a complaint( I don’t think there was) and he was distracted by the noise in his office located 100 feet away with a door mind you... He also tells me that his location is essentially for 50+ year old folks who do mild fitness classes and my training was too much for his location. It’s also a gym by the way, not a library. I decide to unrack the weight and appease him. I then poke my head in his door on my way out to clarify what the “punishment” was for utilizing the equipment for what it was designed for, I tell him that I typically train in the middle of the night when no one else is around anyways and the loud noises won’t affect any of the other members. He tells me he deactivated my key fob and stared at me waiting for an apology haha. I walk out and receive a phone call from my home location of Kamloops, she informs me that Rick had deactivated and then reactivated my fob all in 15 mins. So I assume I'm good to go for the next day. I show up the very next morning at 01:30 am and I go in and train no problem. Perfect. Obviously we agreed to disagree. WRONG, 24 hours later I go back again at 01:30 am and my key fob is deactivated. I guess he thinks it’s funny to play games and just toy around with people’s key fobs. It also does not say anywhere that you cannot drop barbells on the platform. I’ve trained for a really long time, I understand that dropping dumbells and slamming plates on the cable machines wrecks the equipment etc but if you know anything about Oly lifting, I wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary. The guy is a power tripping lunatic with zero clue how to approach people, have an adult conversation or run a franchise. A friend who lives here told me that he frequently tries to bully gym members into switching their payment to his location as their home location so he generates the revenue and upon reading other reviews, it sounds very accurate. You can’t just make up willy nilly rules on the fly because you’re having a bad day and you’re upset that someone is lifting heavy in your gym and they aren’t paying their gym dues to YOUR LOCATION. The other Anytime in Chilliwack took me in and allowed me to train no questions asked like they are supposed to do. It also appears that he responds to these reviews and essentially denies and deflects. If you come to Chilliwack and are an Anytime member, go to the Sardis location. More equipment, friendlier staff and all around better environment. PS you can take down the plexiglass in between the treadmills, it’s 2024… say hi to corporate for me bud. Edit: having a difference of opinion is not disrespectful or argumentative. And no, I was not talked to in the past. That’s a lie. It seems you are the common denominator in EVERY single bad review. ✌️
Hi Matt, Anytime Fitness has many locations, and we are happy you have found a club that suits your needs. Furthermore, I believe our staff have spoken to you before asking for you not to drop the weights so loudly. When I talked to you, you became aggressive, argumentative, and disrespectful. At this point, the decision was made to lock you out. We spoke before you left, and again, you seemed to agree but at the same time was a little understanding. So we had second thoughts about giving you access again, but at this point, we needed to wait for head office to reverse the lockout. I received an email today asking from head office to clarify if we still needed the lockout. At this time, I hadn't responded yet. This is why your fob didn't work this morning. Based on your comments, it seems best you use a location that better suits your needs
Fantastic experience: The Anytime Fitness on Alexander Ave in Chilliwack has a group coaching program that I couldn't find at any other gym (including other Anytime Fitness locations). You can sign up for 6 weeks or a year. It's approximately $60 a week for 3x 1 hour coaching sessions and 24/7 gym access. While the gym has 24/7 access, the staff and coaching sessions are there at varying hours between 5am-7:30pm. The sessions are booked through their app, and cap at 8 people. It's a smaller gym, but they also have a quiet exercise area, automated massage table, and tanning room, which are all free with the membership. The showers in the washrooms are great, there are free cubbies, and tons of security cameras/ needed FOB access. The membership also includes appointments with a nutritionist, who does regular body scans. I was looking for a program that was less expensive than personal training, but kept me accountable with appointments. I searched for a while to find something like this and couldn't be happier with what this Anytime Fitness is offering.

Fantastic experience: The trainers and coaches are all amazing. I get amazing advice, corrected on things I'm not doing properly, and the group sessions with the trainers/coaches are great!!! Great for beginners, novices, and people who already have a good understanding of what they need to do!

Fantastic experience: This Gym is awesome, been coming here for a bit and honestly out of all the Anytimes and well, most gyms for that matter. This gym took the prize. Rick went above and beyond to help me out and showed he really cared about me,(the people in the gym) not just my membership. Means a lot in my book. If you haven't been, I would highly suggest it. Fantastic experience: The owner really cares about his clients and the personal trainers are second to none. Everyone has different goals and they can take you on the path to your goals. It is a very well laid out gym with every type of machine you need. Treadmill, elliptical, bike, stairclimber, Smith machine, squat rack, kettlebell, dumbell yoga room.

Negative experience: WARNING!!! Club owner is only concerned with the money! Is completely unreasonable to work with. Try to cancel membership as relocated to an area with closest Anytime Franchise being 340km away. but refuses to cancel membership. Parent company says i can cancel but have to so it through club who refuses. Through 15 years I have never met such an unreasonable franchise owner. Avoid this franchise at all costs. Use Vedder Rd club instead.

When you signed up with us or the network of Anytime Fitness, initially, we offered you three options when it came to your membership. One was open-ended that you may cancel at any time, a one-year term or a two-year term. You choose one year. You may cancel any of the memberships at anytime with the outstanding balance. Or if you have moved away as you have stated, you may cancel then at no cost, but we will need your new driver's license with the new address attached to confirm your new location. Again if you are more than 30 KM from anAnytime Fitness, we will cancel your membership at no cost. We also provided you with the link to do this online. But you have chosen not to do this. If we can help any further please give us a call.
Positive experience: Gym is immaculate, no stale smell, equipment is well maintained, restrooms were very clean, showers we very clean and the water pressure is awesome. Staff are polite, and the owner is also a great guy.

Negative experience: Even though I was a member at anytime fitness I was always asked why do I park my car in front of the building while the parking lot was almost 100 percent empty. The owner is not friendly at all and you can realize from his attitude , he just wants money and doesn’t care about fitness at all. I recommend the other gym at sardis at any time. They are much professional and friendlier

Fantastic experience: Been to alot of gyms over the years, I've never been to a better gym than Anytime in Chilliwack. The ability to come and go as you please, whenever you need to really helps. Their classes I've been attending with Joel are so amazing! Really gets you moving and knows how to keep it positive and fun! Working with John as a personal trainer has been another incredible experience, really helped me dial down what kind of goals I need to set and is really keeping me on the ball! The staff at this location are incredibly positive and helpful. Will be going here consistently, HIGHLY RECOMEND!

Negative experience: I would have given 0 if possible. The worst gym ever staff along with the owner provides false information charge you with unnecessary amount. I signed up for month to month membership the owner kept pushing me into enrolment that was $99 telling me it is mandatory to pay once you join along with security $50 and $37 my by weekly payment totalling $193. I told that them that I do not need any enrolment which had consultation and two sessions with trainer. The owner kept telling me it is free and it is compulsory to take it so I ended up going forward even after questioning the owner kept saying it’s a club fee anyone new pays it whether you want it or not. When I got home I received two invoices which clearly stated that I was charged $33 each three times for consultation and two sessions. I called the gym the staff said they had no idea about it and they were told it’s free so, the reception told me that she won’t come in between this conversation as she was told it is free and said the owner would deal with it by calling me the next morning. Next morning no calls received so I called in asked again and was told he is busy and would call back later, 2 hours later when no calls were received I called in again and what I heard from the owner was like, oo you weren’t suppose to get that invoice, it is a club fee, on confronting him, the owner started arguing telling me that he has coaches whom he is committed too giving work, like seriously why would I pay for something I don’t need. Owner is a complete dishonest, fraud and such an unethical with 0 moral value person I have never seen anyone being so ridiculous with such unethical values and beliefs ripping off everyone’s money. The agreement says I have 10 days to cancel the agreement but I canceled it today which is the 6th day not once I have used the gym since I signed up which was Sep 8 2022. The owner is such a beggar that he pulled out a payment of $193 from my account after I canceled later today ,no idea on what grounds as he doesn't have any, he believes himself as a god but I pray he gets such a karma that he will regret all his life as I think I’m not the first one he did this too. I throw that money on your face buy yourself something and get a standard.
Hello, Interprete; we are sorry that your experience at our club didn't go well for you. I believe you had signed up with a staff member that had less than two days' experience. You may have received an invoice that is meant for internal use only. We offer a body composition scan and more free with a coach for each member that signs up with us at no cost. We may charge an enrolment fee depending on the chosen membership. The membership that you chose was open-ended. This means there is no term. Because there is no term, there is an enrolment fee that needs to be paid. I believe there was a lot of confusion around this enrolment fee. I think the confusion was that we offered to coach in reference to this fee. We do this to support the member. As you stated, you needed a coach as you are applying to be an RCMP officer and going through the fitness challenge. We can see from the member's point of view that this can be confusing, but the enrolment fee on an open-end membership is mandatory. As we stated, you could sign up for a year and receive a free month or sign up for two years and receive two free months. Any membership in a term can adjust the enrolment fee depending on what memberships we offer at that time and what the member may like. We are flexible on a term membership. The membership you had asked for was open-ended. Again we apologize for the confusion and that your membership has been cancelled with a full refund. We wish you the best in applying for an RCMP officer, and if we can earn your trust back at any time, please call us.
Positive experience: Good other than it’s small and the one bench has you looking in to the sun aka their crazy bright lights. Maybe they fixed it.
Hello Jack, I've tried to look you up in our system worldwide, but I don't see you as a member of Anytime Fitness. When joining Anytime Fitness, you're joining the most prominent club network in the world. More than 5000 clubs in 32 countries, and being a member for more than 30 days, you may use any club worldwide. Fantastic experience: Great gym. Quiet in the mornings and don't have to wait to use equipment. Staff is friendly and willing to help with form etc. More amenities than I use, but they are there to be used. (I don't tan visit the nutritionist, or use the massage machine). Very nice atmosphere, and down to earth clients.

Negative experience: First off, just want to say the trainers and cleaning staff are great, it’s the owner that made this experience the WORST gym experience I’ve ever had. I signed up for myself and my husband for a short term membership (month to month) knowing we were there for contract work. We attempted to cancel the first time 6 weeks in advance of leaving but the owner lied to my face when I asked him if we needed 30 days notice (like every gym). He said no, just come a week before your next billing cycle (which was every other week). I attempted to have this cancelled prior to that with other staff, I was directed to do so online. It did not work, so I attempted again with the owner. I was then told I could not cancel my husbands as he needs to do. Meanwhile to sign up, he had no problem taking my bank info, sending him a profile pic from Facebook and signing for him initially. Also, both memberships were coming out of my personal account. Since the gym was closed for a month we were supposed to get a refund or NOT charged the last month. Not only did we NOT get that, but when called and asked they said they would reimburse us. That has been over 6 weeks and they have no sent the money back and now do not answer myself or husband in emails/calls. The owner specifically people at the gym that he was going to “reschedule” our appointment so we couldn’t cancel right away. They guy is a douchebag that doesn’t know how to run a business. We would have both been members for 6 months out of the year but we’ll never go back there after this nightmare. There are several gyms in the area and I would recommend anywhere else.
Hi Erica, Sorry to hear you are upset with us. I do see that I missed our appointment with you on Feb 21 regarding cancelling your membership with handing your key-fob back in. I do apologize for this oversight. I did cancel your membership on Feb 22, 2022, the very next day with ABC Financial. ABC Financial appears to have made a mistake by cancelling both accounts. This is a rare occurrence but has happened and again we apologize for this. Regarding the government mandate closure for less than a month, we did offer all members a free month, and this was scheduled with ABC Financial with all members. Your free month scheduled date would have been emailed to you. It appears your schedule date was after your cancellation date. I have requested that ABC Financial refund of any billing’s that happened after Feb 22, 2022. I’ve been informed that this will take 3-5 business days before you see this regarding both accounts.
Fantastic experience: This gym has the best training atmosphere. John and the rest of the staff are amazing and go above and beyond for their clients. Very clean would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Previously I had given 5 stars but based on a recent experience I'm changing to a one star.The space and the trainers, Tamara and Brad specifically, are the value of this gym. Unfortunately it is run by an incredibly confrontational and morally ambiguous individual who made myself and my friend feel incredibly uncomfortable, unwelcome, and unsafe in his presence. The interaction was completely unnecessary and obviously loaded with underlying intentions. I have overheard him spreading pseudoscience in the past to clients but left it because it was not my place to correct him and he may have believed what he was saying was true. I've also been informed of individuals being bullied into keeping their contracts and falsified signatures / documents from this franchisee but was trying to be unbiased when joining this gym. Unfortunately, I've now had a direct interaction with him and can see that all these claims are valid. I'm very glad my membership switched to the sardis location because there is no world that I would want my money to be going into Rick's pocket ever again. If you are in chilliwack looking for an anytime location make Sardis your home gym and avoid the harassment and hassle that this location provides.

The current rating of this club out of 5000 locations of Anytime Fitness is in the top 100 in customer satisfaction.

Negative experience: The owner is a piece of work. I tried to cancel my wife’s membership as we cannot be vaccinated for religious reasons. My wife speaks English as a second language and wanted me to come speak directly to Rick as he has made her uncomfortable multiple times and also didn’t know how to put into words why she has to cancel. Rick just smugly stuck his nose up and stated that he didn’t have to talk to me and asked my wife to come inside. She doesn’t want to be anywhere near this guy alone. Long story short he won’t cancel the membership even though the contract should be void from the circumstances that came about. I should not have to pay if we are not aloud to use his services. I will get my money back one way or another but for anyone else. Be careful who you do businesses with.

Negative experience: You have a predator trainer at your gym and refuse to deal with the harrassment. Jesse is a trainer and goes into young women's files to get their numbers and addresses. This is not ok!

Negative experience: I was trying to get in the gym. My key Fob started beeping and the door wouldn’t open. I showed my key Fob through the glass door to the OWNER signaling him to let me in. I had an appointment with one of the female trainers at 1Pm. The owner saw me Arriving on my bicycle (cardio before the gym) and I guess he discriminated against me ( I am a woman of Colour) he then CLOSED the door behind him and did not let me in his gym until I proved to him that I am a member at the gym which made me feel very looked down upon even though I had a key FOB and an appointment, he still asked me a bunch of questions to make me prove that I was a member... I felt Pretty discriminated against and pretty sad and angry.
Hi Karen, I'm the owner of this club but have been on holiday until today. Not sure who you had spoken to; it may even been a member or a none staff member. It also shows that your membership has been cancelled as of April 13, 2021. I'm incredibly disappointed in your experience but also confused by it. Security is tight at all Anytime Fitness with regards to the key-fob and more. Please give me a call so we can figure out what has occurred.
Fantastic experience: I just switched over from planet fitness. I love this gym. The gym is small, the atmosphere is great. good selection of equipment, made signing up easy and I love the key tag entry, made me feel safe in a not so great area. Thanks everyone at anytime!

Negative experience: Horrible customer service plus the owner is rude and aggressive. I had a medical reason for freezing my account and provided a signed doctor's note as well as photo evidence of my broken arm and he refused to believe my injury was real to freeze my account until I was better. I had to contact head office to get a response from the club. The only positive was Bunny, she is am amazing trainer and such a positive person. I would not reccomend this location at all.

Fantastic experience: I frequent Anytime Fitness in each town and city I visit, this one in particular stood out with the best showers and bathrooms I had seen out of 20 other anytime fitness gyms, the management definitely takes solid pride in providing a great gym and I appreciate and I'm certain other members really enjoy that, thank you for providing a great gym experience

Negative experience: Nice facility but the owner is not an advocate for the Anytime brand or community, only his own gym. Due to my employment I was mobile between 3 different ATF gyms and he let me know in a somewhat intimidating fashion that if I attended his gym more times than the others they would increase my monthly membership fee match his rates as that wasnt fair to 'his' patrons. Overall an uninviting owner that casts a negative shadow on an otherwise great facility.

The Anytime Fitness network has different cost from one location to another. So we will reduce members fee's to match ours or increase them. This is what keeps the Anytime Fitness network healthy. If I came across intimidating in regards to the way I spoke to you my deepest apology.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym in town. I’ve been to a few others and the atmosphere was nothing like place. Great equipment, clean, new. Tanning. It’s got it all and the staff is SUPER helpful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

Negative experience: I cannot recommend this gym. I moved out of the area and contacted the owner Rick via email about my membership info. He stated in an email that my membership was to end on Dec.7th. I responded asking to cancel the auto renew and confirm that the auto renew was in fact, canceled and I will live out the rest of my contract and I never hear back. I sent him multiple emails and phone calls to no response.

Negative experience: Terrible staff forced me to transfer membership from Sardis location to here because I used this location a couple time. Then wouldn't let me cancel membership. When my contract was over I spent 2 months making appointments with them to cancel my membership cause it has to be done with a certain person there just to have them cancel over and over or that person that I was suppose to meet didn't show up. Do not reccomend at all.
Hi Eleanor, we have searched for your information, but it appears you’re not a member of this location. The member transfer process of Anytime Fitness is if you use an alternate location more times than your original club your information will transfer as the system is thinking you prefer this club or you have moved. You may go back to your original club or any other location and transfer back or to an alternat club at any time. When canceling your membership with any club its always best to book an appointment and to reply to confirm your appointment as your time is valuable.

Hi Alex, We have just gotten off the phone with your club. The staff was able to explain why the negative review. It seems you have not excepted our local cost. This club reduces membership fee's if the member is coming from an alternate club that may have a higher cost. Members that are coming from a lower cost may have an increase cost. This is how the network works. All this information is under your Anytime Fitness App under the more tab. Example if Vancouver has a higher cost of real-estate or newer construction may have a higher cost this is why from one location to another may be more or less. Also at anytime you may go back and transfer to your original club if the expense of one location or another has a different cost. Fantastic experience: Amazing gym! The location on Alexander is the best. It’s is always clean. The staff and my trainer (Bunny Bronsen) are always so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about everything health and fitness. Also worth mentioning that the fellow gym users are always respectful and kind to one another. I just love this gym!

Negative experience: I’m not one to leave a bad review, but I have never dealt with such unreasonable and unfriendly service. I strongly recommend not getting a membership at this gym! Absolutely nothing wrong with anytime fitness, but please save your money and join a different location other than the Alexander Ave location. The owner is awful to deal with and does not try to help you regardless of your circumstances, nor do the respond to you. I reached out to a few other anytime locations and was helped out and advised to transfer as this is not unusual behaviour for this gym.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I cannot recommend this gym. The staff will not return phone calls and emails. My account was supposed to be frozen while I had surgery. Instead ABC financial has been harnessing me for the last 5 months. Don't take the risk.

Fantastic experience: I joined Anytime Fitness on August 13 and it has been a great experience! From day one the staff/trainers have been amazing! I am really impressed with all the machines and the equipment at the gym has and how well everything is maintained. I always have a great time when i go because everyone (staff and clients) are so friendly and always makes me want to come back for some more lol

Negative experience: I would not recommend Anytime Fitness (Downtown Chilliwack location). Terrible customer service and a volatile environment. Do not sign a contract here - they wanted me to pay a $695 cancellation fee after the trainer who I joined the club to see did not have her contract renewed. Many better gym options in Chilliwack than Anytime Fitness in Downtown Chilliwack (located at 45833 Alexander Ave).
