Fantastic experience: Thank you for a really great energetic and festive class! That was my first time to the Marda Loop studio and it was a very good experience - the holiday setlist was perfect, Kristin's energy was 10/10, instructions super clear b/c volume was on point! Loved that class!

After riding other studios YYC Cycle and in particular Andrew has it dialed. Finished the last track today pushing 162 bpm... love it! Keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: You want to sweat? Get a great workout in a short period of time, this is the place. Super welcoming, great variety of instructors and lots of class times. Handy app to book your classes. They provide earplugs, towels, weights and shoes. You only need bring your enthusiasm and water. Parking on the street and a few spaces around the building.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this studio. There really is a sense of community and family here. The instructors are all amazing, the staff are friendly and the positive/motivational energy is through the roof. I have never been much a spin fan over the years, trying studios here and there but this studio really sets themselves apart from everyone else. After my first class, I have been hooked. Even when I drag my butt out for the 6AMs with a bad sleep, maybe a cranky mood and no motivation/will to put myself through it, I show up and I swear I come out stronger and more energized than ever after a spin class at YYC Cycle. The instructors will, of course, never take credit for me pushing myself beyond what I think I am capable of, but I beg to differ. SO grateful for this studio - I truly feel like I am at home. Fantastic experience: This was my first time attending at YYC cycle and my instructor was Trent. He was SO nice and so kind! He showed me how to setup my bike and get my feet in the grips and gave me a couple shout outs in the class which really made me feel good about myself. As well, the front staff were so friendly. My whole experience was amazing. Now this is the type of facility that makes you feel welcome and empowered! Such a great feeling. I will definitely be back :)

The instructors are enthusiastic and knowledgeable, providing the perfect mix of motivation and guidance throughout the workout. The atmosphere is energetic and welcoming, making it a great place for both beginners and experienced spinners. The music playlists are fantastic and really keep you pumped up during the session. Booking a class was easy, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Overall, yyc cycle exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and challenging workout.

Positive experience: The instructor is great however today’s class was ridiculous without the towels. I mean this in the nicest way possible, and I understand trying to converse water, however you guys provided wet towels sanitary for the bikes, the stampede is happening next week, the fans don’t work, every other cycle class provides towels - I think you can spare nice dry towels. I understand conserving water but the fans should atleast be working. The instructor and playlist was great but I didn’t enjoy the environment, it was a sauna.

Fantastic experience: I’m relatively new to spin and giving YYC Cycle a shot was one of the best choices I’ve made this year! They’re so great at celebrating their members, I always feel so welcome and appreciated. Makes it so much easier to show up on a low-energy day when you know you’ll have a great time! Tons of variety for their class themes and they switch it up often so I never feel bored!! The studio is super clean and I really appreciate the diffusers that they always have on, the towels and face wipes are great too! Their team is super friendly and happy to answer any questions that you might have. Maddy K’s classes are always AMAZING! Between her and James F’s you’ll be set! Overall I’d definitely recommend giving a class a try, give yourself a good 15min before your first class so they’ll help get your bike setup perfect and get your waiver done.

Fantastic experience: Both YYC Cycle spin studios are fantastic studios where everyone is truly welcomed with open arms. The atmosphere is inviting, the facilities are always clean, and the classes are both challenging and fun. The front desk staff and Motivators are kind, supportive, knowledgeable and take the time to get to know you, which is not something you’ll find anywhere else. Whether you're a seasoned spinner or a newbie, YYC Cycle is a place where you'll feel right at home while breaking a sweat.

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever by some ladies called Raina and Aby. I didn’t get to the class because the ladies at the reception didn’t let me in, so this is not a review for the class but for the worst customer service, I’ve ever got In Canada, not Calgary in Canada. Let me elaborate on this. I booked a class with Class Pass, which btw I’ve been doing during the past week I’ve been to different studios all for the first time. I understand that I have to sign a waiver and get 5 min earlier, I’m ok with that, and other studios were ok with 5 min or even 1 minute before the class. Here in the YYC CYCLE spin studio, I arrived 5 min earlier although these two ladies said that it was 1 min, only because I talked to them for four min. After their patronizing and rude way of talking to me like I was dumb, I felt so mistreated and frustrated. As I said the first time I feel this bad customer service in Canada. Never coming back here again. It doesn’t matter if the product is good when you get that bad energy from the reception. Is not only the fact that they didn’t let me in it was the way of handling the situation.

Negative experience: I had the class book for 6:45pm , this was my first time at yyc cycling and I was here at 6:46 pm I was chocked that the girl on the front told me it too late with all the Marda loop contractions that we cannot anticipate that ...for a first time customer, you should compassate the one min ,this is not yoga , 1 min late really? Please put more details on your website that we need 15min in advance ...very disappointed, for a first time they should be an exception for real...

Fantastic experience: YYC CYCLE ML is hands down the best spin class in Calgary! I am so thankful for the welcoming staff. From the front reception that is always smiling, receptive, non judgemental and kind. All the instructors are enthusiastic and fun, giving a really good sweat. Customer Service seems hard to come by these days, so I truly appreciate feeling like a valued member and treated with basic kindness.

Positive experience: I attended a class on Wednesday evening at 6:45 PM and found the instructor and the session itself to be excellent. However, I'm rating my experience lower than five stars because of my interaction with the front desk staff. It was my first time at this location, and unfortunately, the greeting I received made me feel unwelcome. The front desk attendant didn't smile and seemed uninterested when I asked a simple question. As the first point of contact for customers, I believe the front desk staff plays a crucial role in setting the tone for the entire experience. My intention in providing this feedback is to offer constructive criticism, as I believe it's important for businesses to be aware of such issues.

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with this studio and our instructor Catrin! This was my first time going to a spin class and Catrin made it a total blast! The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic, the music was awesome, and I got an amazing work out! I would HIGHLY recommend checking out Catrin's class schedule!

Negative experience: I have been a member of yyc cycle for 3 years and have always had a good experience. However, on sept 19, 2023 I had my gym bag and car stolen due to the front staff 1. Not following their protocol 2. Their inattention to detail and 3. The lack of security at the studio knowing that this same incident happened to another studio in the neighborhood in the last month. This experience is something I am still dealing with unfortunately and I have been dealing with identity theft which has created an onslaught of issues. I was without my car for 4 plus months and there are still damages. I know that things happen, but there were some very obvious issues that went unnoticed between the thief and the front staff. As YYC cycle puts a lot of emphasis on supporting community I was hoping they would be supportive in helping me with this issue, however that was not the case. Management never reached out to me, I reached out to them after 10 days or so, and when I did the only resolve they offered me were some free classes, and said also that this was my fault as my bag wasn’t locked. Valid point however the lockers are small, several are often broken, and many people leave there belongings in the locker room. I was hoping to have a more positive experience dealing with management but it has been very negative. I unfortunately will not be returning to YYC cycle, and am still dealing with the repercussions of this incident.

I went to a bunch of other spin studios in town and by far I have never fallen in love with them anywhere close to what I have fallen in love with YYC Cycle. The classes, vibes, motivators, music, lighting were all in sync to give you the best session possible. And this is coming from someone who never enjoyed indoor cycling until my first spin class with Ashley Toby last year ✨. When I moved to another country earlier this year, one of the major things I missed about YYC was actually YYC Cycle lol… The hype is real and I love YYC Cycle forever ❤️

As I am moving in a week I won't be able to see the amazing motivators and it really is a shame. Fantastic experience: Edit update to my 6th month coming here: YYC Cycle has been a big part of my fitness journey. Originally just wanted to go once every weeks but after my first class, I was hooked. All the motivators are kind and their playlist are always fun. There is a charity ride on Fridays so you can save while also helping a great cause. Lots of parking in the area and the studio is nice!

Fantastic experience: I love this spin studio. The PK speakers produce top notch sound quality, the workout is always challenging and the staff are friendly. I'm a little bigger of a lady and have never felt unwelcome/uncomfortable in this environment. I'm always wanting to come back for more. Their washrooms while a little tight have any amenity you require and are practical to the space. Edit: after visiting multiple other studios in town this one gives you the most sweat for your buck

Fantastic experience: I started coming to YYC Cycle in July and my boyfriend in August and we’ve been coming pretty frequently (20 times a month) when open (ie COVID closures). We love spinning there. It’s a great workout, has many class times and we know what to expect from each motivator. I became really fit after two months and see myself going often once COVID restrictions lift. If you go, we highly recommended going to Lainey’s class. She’s awesome and it’s always a sweaty workout. I also love the lights in the room.

Negative experience: Loved this for a few years thanks to a few incredible motivators.. Had my first kid, life changed and I had around ten passes expire. Management refused to re-activate my passes which disappointed me after a few years of spending $$$ at this studio. Bought a Peloton and have never looked back. Be cautious of management and policies.

Positive experience: I’ve been coming to this studio for about a month, I love the energy and decor of the room when I’m on the bike. Close to my house and friendly staff. The room is a bit squishy, and the only negative aspect I’ve had was today where I was chastised in front of the class during the post-class stretch for Looking at my phone to check-in with my family and log my heart rate. I understand the “no cell phones” policy for most classes, but I’ve seen tons of people do the same and to be singled out was rude and unprofessional. I am an adult paying to be there, and was considering taking my business elsewhere permanently after this.

The instructors are super professional and fun and it’s all around a great place to be. The marda loop location is also very large and has a lot of free street parking which is a super bonus.

Fantastic experience: Spin. It's a party on a bike. A sweaty, sweaty party. And this is the place to party. I appreciate the free shoes, lockers, towels, shoes, weights, showers, and (yes, even) ear plugs. The staff are super and friendly, place is clean, and you'll sweat. I promise. The Marda Loop location has free parking, the Kensington location has cheap parking. Classes are 50min, and include time for stretching at the end, there's some places to grab a bite to eat near by after.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are amazing and full of energy. I highly recommend taking a class with Chris, he pushes you to be better through every class. Music is awesome too. Can't say enough good things about this studio.
