Positive experience: Oh what a lovely place to take classes! Front desk and janitorial staff were friendly and helpful and the facility itself is excellent in size and ability to cater to a variety of programs. Bath/changerooms are spacious and clean with some decent shower amenities. It's nice to have such facilities in smaller-town BC.

Positive experience: Let me just say that this is great gym for beginner lifters and casual lifters but this gym doesn’t have a lot of the necessary things like benches, squat racks, and cables. Instead it focuses on cardio machines which take up 1/3 of the gym and are never used as much as the free weight stuff. For the price it is good and the staff are usually friendly but I just think it could use more free weight stuff

Fantastic experience: We have been here a number of times for programs with my 1.5-2.5 year old. The reception and Childminding staff were exceptional. We have also attended the family fun night which was busy but super fun! And the weekday morning open gymnasium which was not busy but super fun! Highly recommend checking out their programs!

Fantastic experience: Great establishment! Had the honour of sitting at the lobby table for 15 minutes while waiting to meet a friend. The ladies at the front desk were kind and welcoming. Would rate 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: Gym is very clean and the equipement are all in working order. Staf are very freindly. Showers are spotless. There plenty of other activities such as pickleball, yoga and much more. Large outdoor parking near tennis courts and beautiful garden.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I go to an over 65 exercise class. Carol Hardy teaches the class. I have started working out in the gym with her as she is a personal trainer. Love the class and looking forward to being in the gym more. I would highly recommend this facility.

Positive experience: I really like the gym, I go almost every morning. It would be really nice, past 9pm that you lock the door but have outer doors that have fob sensors so it could be a 24h gym

Fantastic experience: The Comox community center is amazing. I I'm not from Comox but I dropped in here to get a workout in. The gym is fantastic! There are plenty of free weights, space to exercise, plenty of machines, and a lot of cardio equipment. I highly recommend this gym to anybody in Comox. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in Comox.

Fantastic experience: The people at the front desk are patient, helpful and kind. Marty was awesome showing us the machines and explaining how everything works. Thank you for allowing 12 yr olds (giving my son the opportunity to show he is respectful in the gym) which is huge for my son with medical concerns. Wished it was a bit closer to my house in Black Creek.

Positive experience: I always go here to workout when I am visiting my family. The facilities are clean and spacious and I have never had to wait very long to use the equipment. They are missing some workout machines but for the space they have they have done very well! You will be able to do any workout you want! I’ve also never felt the need to lock up my things and the staff are very friendly

Fantastic experience: Very nice facility. The staff are very pleasant to talk and deal with. Always seems to be somewhat busy. I"ve never seen the place empty. We go there to play pickle ball. There's a maximum of players in the gym. 16 players. This way everybody gets enough play time. Plus they tend to keep score according to how many are waiting to play. More people waiting, the games are shorter with a lower score. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are kind of open to any level. Don't know how to play, come and learn.

Positive experience: Great gym!! Wide variety of different equipment!! Comfortable atmosphere with a mix of all ages of men and women!! My only few complaints are, some very entitled older people sometimes that I have had to deal with. Who think they can just tell you when you have to get off machines, because they want to use it?? They play the most negative things on their tvs.. Kinda energy contrasting when you are working out feeling good and look up and see negative negative things in your face??! I would say play things that are happier or nothing at all??! Love infrared sauna, minus the clueless people who sometimes go in and have brought food in, have no respect for other people's space or peacefulness. As well had a girl steal my good body wash while had my back turned and she lied about it?? Ya other then that stuff not bad??!

Fantastic experience: The friendliest staff and the best equipped Gym in the Valley! The Gym can get pretty busy though, as its popularity has climbed over the years, especially after their major upgrade a few years ago, so best pick a quieter time if you can. The Centre also hosts a huge variety of activities for kids and adults alike, from Taekwondo to ‍♀️ to after school workshops. Consult their website or the Community Guide published for the whole Valley every Quarter

Fantastic experience: This facility is a hidden gem for seniors and those that are retired or under rehabilitation. A huge array of social programs are conducted here along with well kept and outfitted fitness equipment.

Positive experience: Nice facility. The exercise room is modern, clean and well equipped. It has lots of cardio machines including recumbent bikes, treadmills and plenty of elliptical machines, some with adjustable climbing simulation (adjustable height gain per step). Lots of weight equipment too, (some machines that I don't recognize). Has a rowing machine and even a KayakPro machine that's like a rowing machine, but simulates paddling with a canoe paddle (for Dragon Boat practice). Equipment seems pretty new. I like that it has lots of TVs on the walls, mostly set to news or lifestyle channels and muted with closed captioning on, so you can watch news from the cardio machines. It was uncrowded when I used it a few times at mid day.

Fantastic experience: My kids have taken a number of courses here and it's been easy to find information about what is available. They've enjoyed Capoeira (Axé Capoeira) and Gymnastics (Chimo), as well as numerous birthday parties. When I'm looking for classes and courses for them, it's the first place I look. Now get another adult gymnastics class going, ok? ;-)

Positive experience: There is a really God variety of things to participate in. Our kids are involved with the gymnastics and they love there coaches and can't wait to go back for there next lesson
