Negative experience: Garbage facility. Pay a drop in rate to use pool and gym and then not allowed to use pool because it's rented all the time. If you make more money renting the pool, break down the drop in rate to pool or gym, these clowns have no idea how to run a facility like this in kenora If you want to spend full price to use half the facility kenora recreation centre is the best place to go

Fantastic experience: Very clean pool and friendly lifeguards. Didn’t have a lock for the change room lockers but the staff offered to keep my items in the staff room for me if I wanted. Had a nice sauna, hot tub, and private shower stalls!

Negative experience: Paid for parking in their field over the weekend. Turns out there was an event that the person at the desk was un aware of. I was on the lake and unreachable so they towed my vehicle and impounded it. Refused to reimburse the impound fees for their mess up. Would not recommend.

Positive experience: Located in the heart of Kenora. This facility has many different facilities for all walks of life. There is the hockey rink, the swimming pool, gym, physiotherapists, and so on. The is even a trial park outside, for skateboarding/BMX/whatever. A great local hub for the community. Lots of parking as well.

Fantastic experience: Awesome a must stop spot whether you like it or not! The drinks are cold drip drop and the food always hot! I would definitely camp out back with a tent and cot. Whether you're in town to shop, or visit mom and pops, come on down and visit one of kenoras favorite drop in spots!!!

Fantastic experience: Facility is very clean. Opens early and stays open fairly late. Pool, waterside, and sauna great to for kids. Gets a little busy in the gym at certain times of the day. When the ice is in the rink part it is well maintained. The walking track is also well maintained. Also has free parking which is a bonus.

Positive experience: Gym is smaller than I expected. Has OK equipment. A little busier than I'd like a gym to be as well. They do a good job keeping things clean. There is only one spot for deadlifting/Olympic lifting, so if you're into that, you might have quite a bit of waiting depending on if someone else is in that station. Similarly, there is only one bench press, one smith machine, etc. Nice view of the lake though in the hallway. They keep the gym a nice cool temp even in the hot of summer.

Fantastic experience: Great professional staff, loved the 10 visit pass with no expiry. Pool wasn't open during my visit (maintenance), but I have used it before and always very clean and perfect for exercise or fun with kids.
