Negative experience: Après 4 ans chez espace Thomas, et un refus d’augmentation de mon abonnement, j’ai découvert Midtown le Sanctuaire. Et je confirme clairement que c’est le niveau du dessus. Je ne vais pas m’étendre sur l’ensemble des problèmes de espace Thomas car tout est dit dans les avis 1*. Mais le plus gros problème de ce superbe espace est la gestion et la communication de leur directrice « Jen » qui n’a aucune formation visiblement ou du moins très peu compétente pour ce poste. Les avis 5 * sont bien souvent des gens de passage à l’hôtel ou qui viennent juste pour l’expérience Spa. Après l’avoir conseillé à des dizaines de personnes, je ne le recommande plus. À éviter même pour une journée. Mise à jour : La réponse de la direction confirme malheureusement le manque de professionnalisme que j’ai constaté sur place. Plutôt que d’écouter et de chercher à s’améliorer, les clients sont insultés et tournés en dérision. Pour compléter mon avis, je souligne un problème majeur de propreté (moisissures, odeurs d’égouts, sofas tachés), un entretien négligé (sauna déteignant, spa en déclin), et un service client inexistant. Mon étoile reflète donc un constat basé sur des faits : cet établissement est à éviter!

Negative experience: The price keeps going up and the quality keeps going down. Any feedback receives an aggressive, condescending response from management. I can highlight all the issues, but it's not worth my time. Read all the 1- and 2-star reviews and you'll understand, they're all valid. I can't see this gym sustaining much longer under this management. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Not too busy during the day. Decent cleanliness of the change rooms and showers. The gym is huge with lots of functional equipment

Positive experience: I always try and support small business especially in repurposed historical spaces when I travel so when I was visiting Montreal I went out of my way to workout here . I travel allot and fitness is a core part of my life so I have visited many gyms Unfortunately for the premium price of this place it was not a premium product. The men’s change room was disgusting with shoes swim suits and even a pair of wet underwear on the floor. In addition the change room was way too small for the number of users of the facility, it took a lot of energy to avoid invading the space of other dudes in the locker room . Also the bath products, towels etc were subpar for the price point . The staff were also more interested in chatting with each other than promptly helping customers it is apparent that the service expectations here are minimal. The cleanliness of the gym was comparable to a ymca or a community rec centre so acceptable but not what you would expect at a premium price point such as Montreal Athletic Club. While I expect a gym to be busy at peak time this place was particularly crowded to the point I would be concerned about safety training on the turf. So in summary while I love the concept I will go elsewhere the next time I’m in Montreal.

Fantastic experience: I can’t believe this space exists. It’s n old church that has been converted to a spa/gym/massage place. I booked an hour long massage with Emile and I can easily say it was one of the most attentive and focused massages that I have ever had. Emile listened to where I needed to focus and he made sure to address those areas. On top of that, spa access was free with my massage, so before my massage, I had a dip in the terrace hot tub and listened to the waterfall break the surface of the pool while I sipped my mint tea! There is also a steam room and sauna but I didn’t have enough time to use those. One can spend a whole afternoon here. If you’re planning your time to include the gym as well - I would suggest: gym, spa, massage, spa! A good 4 hours.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time working out here using the three day pass with my partner, who was along with me for a visit to Montreal. The gym is less like a standard gymnasium, and more like a spa. There is a lot of priority put on making it feel like a premium experience every time you visit. The people at the front desk were also super kind! I hope to visit again next time I'm back in Montreal!

Fantastic experience: Super Massage avec Eliane ! J’écrit très rarement des reviews mais la je me sentait obligé. Je suis venu avec un mal de dos terrible et j’ai l’habitude de me faire masser. Franchement elle savait exactement ou peser pour libérer mon dos. Sincèrement10/10 super gentille et professionnelle. Je recommende fortement. En plus vu que c’était mon premier massage c’était seulement 80$ rapport qualité prix incroyable. Elle connaît très bien ses affaires et comprend les muscles et les nerfs du dos. C’était thérapeutique en plus d’être plaisant ce qui n’est pas toujour le cas. Je recommande fortement !

Negative experience: Malheureusement, cette belle installation est mal gérée et mal entretenue. Service client médiocre. Personnel arrogant. Hygiène faible. Les vestiaires sentent la canalisation des vieux égouts sales. Les chutes d’eau non jamais fonctionné. Les jets d’eau mal synchronisés.De la moisissure présente dans les petits coins des bains à vapeur. Le bois du Sauna mets des tâches brunes sur les vêtements. Serviettes sales. Vieux matériels abîmés : machines déséquilibrées et maganées, tapis déchirés, prises électriques installées d’une façon dangereuses ⚠️ (j’étais blessée une fois à cause de ça). Les cours sont mal organisés (tous en même temps et tu n’as plus accès aux salles). Il y a des journées où le nombres des clients dépassent la capacité des lieux. Des fois les serviettes ne sont plus disponibles alors que c’est inclus dans les services …

Negative experience: Je suis passée juste pour prendre des informations pour m'inscrire et l'experience n'etait pas prometteuse. L'employée est trés arrogante.

Fantastic experience: Je m’entraîne dans ce lieu depuis maintenant un mois c’est just le parfait combo pour moi entre le gym qui n’est jamais rempli, le matériel à disposition est toujours propre et bien rangé le choix musical au top. La partie spa est un vrai bonus, un havre de paix dans lequel j’alterne les bains et la relaxation ce qui me donne un cadre parfait pour travailler aussi je suis simplement fan. Également ils ont un cours de course en groupe avec Oscar le mardi et dimanche matin et c’est un plus bien motivant ❣️

Fantastic experience: My first time getting a massage here. The staffs were pleasant, and the areas where very clean. My masseuse was Jessica, before she started we had a conversation about what  areas I need more work on. Let me tell you,  this young lady work on all the areas I mentioned and even the ones I hadn't. I left feeling lighter, relaxed and more flexible. Next time I'll definitely combine the massage with the spa.

Negative experience: Came for a single visit and had a a strange and disappointing experience. First of all the cold plunge did not work. The cold plunge was 50% of the reason I was there, and nobody bothered to inform me that it wasn't working before I paid. After chatting to some of the regulars, I came to learn that the cold plunge often doesn't work or isn't actually cold. At the gym, one of the cleaners started vacuuming and mopping (the already clean floors of the gym!), just like that during working hours, with a bunch of people using the gym. To make matters worse, he passed the vacuum 15cm from under my head while I was suspended from the rings doing body rows. I couldn't believe the lack of awareness of this guy! Then, while sitting in the fully packed dry sauna, the same cleaner comes, swings the glass inner sauna door open locking it in a fully open position, and starts spraying the door with windex and starts wiping it with a rag! That spectacle went for about 2-3 minutes! A sauna full of half naked people trying to relax, and a cleaner, fully clothed with sneakers, standing inside the cooling sauna and passionately wiping off fingertip marks from the glass. The cherry on top was that despite this ferocious cleaner, parts of the place are pretty nasty. The showers stank, and the upstairs toilet was clogged with a bunch of floaters chilling in the bowl. Maybe I just got unlucky, I don't know, but for the price they charge I am unwilling to come back to find out.

Fantastic experience: Great massage experience in a bright & modern yet calm and relaxing space. Excellent massausse! Gym & locker areas looked very clean and chic.

Negative experience: Notre expérience à l'Espace Thoma a été malheureusement décevante. J'aurais dû consulter les avis Google avant ma visite, car ils reflètent effectivement mon ressenti. De plus, les réponses de l'entreprise aux avis ne sont pas professionnelles, mais plutôt impolies et déplacées. Je m'attendais à ce que, compte tenu du prix élevé du spa (comparable à celui du Bota Bota), l'expérience soit du même niveau, mais ce n'était pas du tout le cas. Il était difficile de se détendre en raison du bruit constant des machines de la salle de sport et des vibrations perturbant l'air dans les zones de repos et de sauna. De plus, l'absence de personnel pour maintenir le silence a contribué à une atmosphère bruyante, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, avec des gens parlant sans retenue. L'espace était trop petit pour accueillir le nombre de personnes présentes, les portes étaient constamment ouvertes et fermées, ce qui ajoutait encore au niveau de bruit. Dans l'ensemble, l'Espace Thoma n'a pas réussi à créer une ambiance accueillante et il était difficile de vraiment se détendre. Nous avons exprimé notre déception au comptoir en partant, mais la personne en charge a semblé surprise, prétendant que personne n'avait partagé de commentaires similaires auparavant. Nous sommes sortis avec un sentiment de déception et l'impression d'avoir payé beaucoups tro cher pour un service insatisfaisant.

Positive experience: Really like this gym and the spa. Great equipment, clean, and staff are overall friendly. Definitely one of the best gyms in the Plateau area. Suggestion to management: please kindly do more to enforce quiet zones in your spa indoor areas. Every time I go, especially on weekends, there are couples or groups of individuals who are in constant conversation with sound resonating throughout the spa building. This past weekend (January 27 2024), there was even a couple playing music on loud speaker mode in the spa, which boggles the mind. There was zero enforcement or intervention from the staff. This kind of behaviour (and lack of monitoring or active enforcement by staff on duty) really degrades the overall experience for every other member of the spa, who are going there to enjoy a quiet and calming environment, not to overhear chatty conversations. I suggest putting up more visible quiet zone signs throughout the spa area (no conversation or noise from mobile devices), along with more active intervention from staff on duty.

Negative experience: I used to be a member of this gym for many months and left because of the management's lack of empathy. Reading the odd passive-aggressive replies made by the establishment to other customers reviews here confirms that I'm not the only one to have had a negative communication experience. The gym and the spa are beautiful nonetheless. The staff is polite. Just be warned that the establishment lacks communication skills.

Positive experience: Cela fait un an et demi que je suis inscrite, j’ai adoré au début et malheureusement ça s’est énormément dégradé ces derniers temps. Pour 200 a 300$/mois, on ne s’attend pas à avoir des machines constamment en panne (tapis de course, les deux de gauche quasiment jamais fonctionnels), qu’il n’y ait plus de lotion dans les vestiaires ou plus de thé, et encore moins aujourd’hui, qu’on me dise que c’est une grande serviette maximum par personne (justification : on en a pas assez pour tout le monde… et bien commandez en plus ma fois) ! Je suis venue faire sport + spa + massage + douche et on me dit non pour une deuxième serviette… bien loin du service premium attendu, c’est dommage car le lieu reste incroyable !

Negative experience: Such a weird and unhelpful staff.

Negative experience: Worst costumer service experience I've had quite possibly ever (including insurance companies and airline brokers)! Espace Thomas was trying to force an illegitimate charge on me (to their point, my case was a little ambiguous). After going over their own contact with their manager and proving them that they had no grounds for charging me, their manager just took to being nasty, said he can't do anything and suggested I escalate my grievance via email. After a little bit of a ridiculous back and forth with Espace Thomas management over email, one of the owners finally answered the email chain. This owner used professional and polite language and conceded that I was completely right in this situation, promised to refund the illegitimate charge, and revise the Espace Thomas contract so this situation doesn't repeat itself in the future. I answered the email thanking him for his honesty and for respecting their contract. I thought that was it, but boy was I wrong... After coming back from my vacation and resuming my contact, I was advised by Espace Thomas front desk staff to send them an email just to make sure the credit from my illegitimate charge is being used towards my monthly billing, as was promised. I sent a polite email asking them this very thing.. Most benign email you can imagine. To my great surprise, I get a reply to my email from the other owner, Jen. Jen tells me she read over my emails and that they "honestly gave her a headache". She said she "doesn't care who's right and who's wrong", that she doesn't have time to deal with me, and shamed me for contesting a meager 50$ charge. She said she "only focuses on good vibes", refunded my money and banned me from their establishment. Yes, just like this, for no reason, for an issue which was professionally resolved over a month prior, and for which it was established unequivocally that I was in the right. But as she said, she didn't care who's right and who's wrong... I could not believe that the owner such an establishment would be so immature and malicious for no reason. And maybe you think I'm embellishing things. Well, if you do, I invite you to read Jen's PUBLIC replies to the other one-star reviews here on Google. You can make your own judgement about the person running this place. Other than for the ridiculously terrible customer service, I can't trust going to a spa run by a complexed individual with the mental development of a 14 year old. I can't trust the towels they give me to dry my body, their lotion and shampoo, even their lemon water. The place is run by a careless person with no regard to other humans, who would probably profit at your expense for the smallest gain. I can't trust to put anything in or on my body which was supplied or coordinated by this kind of a person. As for the facilities themselves, they are acceptable for a casual spa. Although there are some hygiene issues.. The urinal area often reeks. The cold plunge and hot tubs are cleaned very infrequently; water can get nasty by the end of the season. My buddy got an ear infection from dunking his head in the cold plunge (don't dunk your head!). And the cold plunge often does not work. Edit: Wow, Jen, you have really outdone yourself with this reply! Best one yet! I honestly didn't think you'd be stupid enough to actually reply like this. You reply makes my review really resonate. I'll make sure all my Espace Thomas friends and acquaintances get to read this exchange. Peace out boo.

Fantastic experience: The intro trial rates are amazing and give you access to all the facilities. Will return for sure after the holidays.

Negative experience: Was a member from 2017 til late 2022. Over time, everything became average aside from the fees that kept creeping up. Kudos to the few of masseurs and trainers who are still there. The owner replied the following. The snarky-ness of the reply highlights the general lack of professionalism that has plagued the place in recent years. I taken out an additional star as I was reminded of that fact. And yes, they did take ownership in 2019. In 2017, my gym fees at the same location with a different owner (because you weren’t forced to also get a membership for the spa) were $75, and the combined package was $140. I’ll let you calculate whether an increase from $140 to $240 maps inflation. Owners’ reply: “Thank you for sharing your opinion a year later. By the way, we have been opened since 2019 only and we have only increased our prices once in February 2023 because of inflation, payroll increase and a global pandemic, you know all those fun facts that doesn't affect you. Cheers”

Ça fait maintenant un an que je bénéficie des services de l’Espace Thomas et ce n’est certainement pas ma dernière année ! Le contact employés-clients ajoute une ambiance chaleureuse à cette institution déjà submergée de belles énergies. Mon safe place, définitivement.

Positive experience: The staff and coaches are insanely friendly and welcoming but the price, equipment and hours ruin it. Monthly membership was $240 for very generic equipment and if you have a busy work schedule during the day, you’ll be stuck with very limited hours. The gym isn’t super strength friendly, I’ve had workers give me a hard time about noise on deadlifts, There’s one barbell bench press which could be replaced and no power bar. When I asked if I could bring mine the owner said I’d have to leave with it. Not very convenient since I travel by metro. Would’ve been nice to have it stored since the monthly membership is so high but it is what it is. Can’t say it’s very bodybuilding friendly either as isolation machines are limited. Its a cool building but nice interior design can’t excuse an honestly overpriced membership, generic equipment and limited hours. just not worth it.

Big shoutout to Morgane who leads the front of the house with ease, professionalism but knows how to have a good laugh. Fantastic experience: I visited Montreal and took advantage of the phenomenal introductory one week membership. I love everything about this gym. The staff is so friendly and kind. The space is gorgeous and filled with light. The machines are brand new. You will love the spa in the summer — two whirlpools, a steam room and a sauna. Thank you to everyone here for making my week there memorable!

Negative experience: Espace Thomas Gym is a shocking disappointment for its $200+ monthly fee. The facility is consistently dirty, making workouts less than enjoyable. Staff members display an alarming level of rudeness, making one question their commitment to customer service. Even their spa services, like massages, fail to impress, lacking skill and professionalism. Save your money and time; this gym isn't worth the hassle.

Negative experience: I'm genuinely perplexed at how Espace Thomas is still in business with the appalling conditions and horrendous service I've experienced. Firstly, let's talk about the location. When I heard the gym was in a church, I thought maybe they had converted the space beautifully. But no. It's as if they took a hot, unventilated church and just threw in some gym equipment. The atmosphere is stifling, making it nearly impossible to get through a workout without feeling lightheaded. I tried to cool down in their so-called "cold plunge." I don't think they understand the meaning of "cold" as the water was lukewarm at best. It was more like a tepid bath than a refreshing plunge. The hours are absolutely ridiculous. Closing at 9? Many of us use the gym post-work to unwind or get a late-night session in. But here, you're basically rushed out before you even begin. Let's not forget the spa. I was hoping it'd be the saving grace, but instead, I was greeted with a weird, unidentifiable smell that clung to my nostrils. How can one relax in such conditions? The men's changing room? Absolutely disgusting. The unmistakable stench of urine fills the air. It's unsanitary and quite frankly, disrespectful to paying customers. Speaking of staff, I've never met a more hostile bunch in my life. Instead of assisting and providing guidance, they seem more interested in picking fights. I've witnessed them get physically aggressive with members. And the absurd practice of locking members in if they don't change fast enough? That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. It's a downright safety hazard. The hidden fees are the cherry on top. I thought I was signing up for a premium gym experience, but all I got was a never-ending list of charges that they failed to mention during registration. It's a shady practice, especially considering the exorbitant fees they already charge. Espace Thomas is a masterclass in how not to run a gym. Terrible facilities, even worse customer service, and a price tag that's laughable given the conditions. Avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: We had the worst experience with Espace Thomas. The whole process has been frustrating, the team has showed complete lack of empathy and poor client service. My husband and I booked a massage. We were very much looking forward to this relaxing moment as first-time parent of a one-year old. As most parents will relate, our kid health comes first and the night before our massage appointment, baby started having high fever and led us to the doctor ve tried to explain the situation to the Spa team and were faced with complete lack of empathy, lack of understanding and overall indifference. We offered to show the doctor’s note and we were open to rescheduling our massage but the team decided to charge us full price! Absolutely shocking how inhumane. Looking at the reviews, this is a recurring issue. With this management style and short-term view of customer relation I am wondering about the survival of this business.

Fantastic experience: J’adore ce concept : gym & spa ^_^ L’accueil est impeccable et offert par des humains agréables, ça sent l’eucalyptus, les espaces divisés par petites sections sont agréables, les équipements d’entraînement sont diversifiés et de qualité, perso j’aime entre autres le fait de pouvoir visionner divers parcours en forêt (bryophytes, cascades et paysages inspirants) pendant le jogging, l’espace détente est magnifique avec bain de glace (parfait pour atténuer l’inflammation après l’entraînement, relaxer muscles et esprit), un service de massothérapie est également offert sur place ^_^ L’endroit idéal si vous avez besoin d’un espace pour vous entraîner & stimuler vos sens, relaxer, apaiser votre corps et votre esprit

Fantastic experience: Personnellement je n’ai pas d’abonnement aux formules proposé, j’ai juste pu tester à plusieurs reprise leurs infrastructures aussi bien en termes de gym que de spa et je doit avoué que j’en suis ressorti satisfait. Le SPA est vraiment très agréable et bien conçut. C’est à la fois jolie et relaxant. Le GYM possède des machines et toute le nécessaire de musculation recent et toujours bien organisé. Je recommande a 100%.

Fantastic experience: I was in Montreal for a few days and wanted to find a gym to workout at. THIS WAS THE BEST GYM! They have a variety of different equipment, plenty of space, and was not crowded at all. But the cherry on top was their Spa space. Dry and Wet Saunas, plus hot tubs and a cold plunge. They even had lounge spaces and complementary ice water and tea. If I lived in Montreal I would definitely purchase a membership. Thanks for a great time!

Positive experience: I have been a member for a little while now. The reason it's only 3 stars is because is because I have a love hate relationship with the place: The bad • They seem to go through phases of disorganization, not so great management and faulty facilities • It’s pricey for what it is. The spa is mowhere near the likes of Bota Bota and around the same mark. I used to add classes on top of my membership but in spite there being some good instructors like Nicolas, the premises don't have great (separate) rooms (except the boxing studio) and quiet spaces for the likes of yoga. • Closing times, every one I spoke to said it closes too early and you must remember to get out before the facilities close as they rush you out or complain about people who stay after the 8pm(weekends) or 9pm closing times. 9pm and 10pm would be ideal for those who work or at the very least pay the staff better to have a grace 20mins or so beyond closing. • The gym is small so if you want a good sesh, plan to come during quieter times if your work allows Now the good bits: • Most of the staff is lovely and chatty. We had some not so courteous people in the past but after mentioning it seems they take it in • Great community. Lots of friendly familiar faces on a regular basis. Some of us even call it the healthy spa 5à7 at the end of some days • Beautiful building and in spite of being small and often not working properly the spa is lovely • Great location if you want to combine fitness and play • The annexed restaurant could have some potential if they work at it with the members Overall I am very fond of the place and with some improved management and services, I would definitely be happy to pay for such an unique little venue. Keep improving guys!

The staff are incredibly polite, very communicative regarding pricing and memberships, the facilities are clean, well-kept, and modern. Negative experience: Massage not worth the price. Somehow I’m more tense than I was before. Pressure was non-existant. I kept asking for more pressure but she would apply that for 2 seconds then it went back to 0. It felt more like just someone touching me than a massage. The therapist was very nice though and the facility is beautiful. Maybe she just needed more experience I’m not sure. Just overall I’ve had way better massages elsewhere.

Negative experience: This place is ran by arrogant and rude individuals. My wife booked a massage, for which she had to free up her schedule. They canceled on her despite previously confirming, an error on their end. Obviously, my wife was upset and left a bad review. They had the audacity to mock her and her professional career to deliberately hurt her. This place has zero credibility, is extremely unprofessional and should be ashamed of themselves for the way they treat customers. Avoid at all costs!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to espace Thomas for a few weeks and I’m loving it so far, it’s never too crowded, the equipment is in good condition and the spa is fabulous. The location is excellent and very accessible.

Negative experience: Problème de réservation. Je réserve avec une carte de crédit en mentionnant que je viens de déménager puisqu'il exige le code postal. J'ai réservé à 17h00 La personne me rappel à 19h35 pour m'aviser que mon rdv il y a eu un erreur pour demain et que mon rdv est annulé. Que quelqu'un autre a mon rdv qui a été cédulé après moi. Le gérant arrogant au téléphone me dit que ce n'est pas possible que c'est ma faute d'avoir donné un mauvais code postal en me disant qu'à 17h00 c'est l'heure rushhour et que la réservation n'a pas été prit en charge. La moindre des choses auraient été de me contacter ou de prendre les 2 codes postales et non pas d'offrir mon rdv à quelqu'un d'autre. Bref, pour le service à la clientèle si je pouvais mettre zéro je le mettrais, en plus du tutoiement du gérant odieux, pour la gestion de leur erreur aussi. C'était à la personne qui a prit mon rdv par leur faute qui aurait dû être réceduler ! Complètement inacceptable ! J'ai réservé pour 90minutes en demandant pour le soir même on m'a donné le lendemain et finalement on essaie de me céduler la semaine prochaine. Grand manque de respect.

Negative experience: Espace Trop crasse… Pour le prix la propreté laisse à désirer. Le bain vapeur part en lambeau et sent très mauvais, il en va de même pour le bain froid extérieur et les douches des vestiaires. L’endroit reste très sympa, bien situé et convenablement équipé. Le personnel est sympathique et chaleureux mais les règles imposées sur l’abonnement manquent grandement de flexibilité. Il faut prévenir un mois à l’avance pour se désabonner quand bien même on a pas encore payé le mois suivant. Si on a été parrainé, impossible de parrainer nous meme par la suite, pas très malin pour fidéliser et amener de nouveau clients. Enfin il faut éviter les heures d’affluence pour le gym car il devient quasi impossible de s’y entraîner.

Negative experience: Je ne paie pas ce prix mensuel là pour me faire kicked out 15 minutes avant la fermeture par la pire chanson du monde jouée en boucle. Vous êtes sensés être un spa/gym premium, arrêtez d'agir comme un bar à karaoké cheap à 3am. Enregistrez un petit message gentil annonçant la fermeture à la place de gâcher l'expérience zen si vous tenez à ce que le monde quitte 15 minutes avant la fermeture. Quelle manque de classe de l'administration. Edit pour adresser ce service à la clientèle spectaculairement arrogant. Je suis membre de votre gym depuis bientôt un an (je profite même du rabais pour avoir référencé quelqu'un!) - en plus d'avoir acheté un paquet de 20 cours pour compléter mon abonnement mensuel au gym (initialement, mon abonnement était celui pour les cours, downgradé à gym étant donné que l'horaire des classes ne me convenait plus - un changement effectué par Morgane. Mon année d'abonnement se termine au moins de Mars. Gérez vos dossiers comme il le faut avant d'accuser les gens). Bien entendu que la première chose que j'ai fait, c'est de tenter de parler à un humain : on m'a dit qu'il n'y avait rien à faire et qu'il n'y avait personne à contacter pour me plaindre. J'ai donc pris 2 minutes pour exprimer ma frustration ici. Mais écoutez, ça me fait plaisir de me faire rembourser les 19 cours restants, annuler mon abonnement pour le dernier mois du contrat actif et ne plus jamais mettre les pieds dans votre établissement. Semblerait que les milliers de dollars dépensés dans votre établissement depuis 1 an valent moins que l'effort d'enregistrer un message ou de trouver une solution qui ne clash pas le branding d'un spa. (PS: vous devriez vraiment engager quelqu'un pour gérer vos communications. Soyez en mode solution au lieu d'être en mode destruction quand un client est mécontent)

Fantastic experience: One of the unique places that has a combination of spa/gym in Montreal. Staff are beyond kind and accommodating. In my opinion, Nicolas is by far the best teacher/coach/personal trainer in Espace Thomas and also compared to many other personal trainers I've seen in gyms across Montreal and Toronto. The only downtpoint I can mention is after their terrace renovation, the fake grass that was installed as flooring is absorbing a lot of moisture in it which I don't think is hygienic and can be kept cleaned as properly.

Negative experience: Je ne me permets presque jamais de juger négativement un service ou un commerçant de façon publique, mais le service à la clientèle d'Espace Thomas mérite plus qu'un avis Google négatif. J'ai réservé deux massages le 25 décembre à 22h00 via leur site internet pour passer un moment de détente avec ma soeur le 26 décembre. Je suis enceinte de 6 mois et demi et j'ai donc voulu m'assurer qu'il n'y avait pas de problème en les appelant dès l'ouverture ce matin (à 10h00 le 26 décembre). On m'informe alors qu'il n'est pas possible de me masser car les deux massothérapeutes n'ont pas la certification pré-natale, ce que je comprends. Je demande alors s'il est possible de déplacer nos deux rdvs à une date ultérieure. On m'indique que seul mon rdv peut être déplacé pour des raisons médicales et que ma soeur doit tout de même venir car je ne respecte pas leur politique de 24 heures d'annulation. Je leur explique que j'ai réservé il y a peine 12 heures sur leur site web, et que nous voulions y aller ensemble. Rien à faire. Je demande alors d'annuler nos deux rdvs. A nouveau, on me répète que je ne peux pas car cela est contraire à leur politique d'annulation - qui soit dit en passant fait apparemment partie de leurs Conditions d'utilisation, mais qui ne font pas l'objet de consentement du client à aucun moment de la transaction et donc qui ne peuvent être imposées à un consommateur s'il ne les accepte pas explicitement. Non seulement, ces termes ne sont légalement pas valables, mais je m'attendais à un peu de douceur et de flexibilité de la part d'un centre de bien être avec une femme enceinte ET pendant le temps des fêtes. Je suis extrêmement déçue de ce service et ne recommande ce spa à personne.

Positive experience: L'espace Thomas est un espace vraiment agréable. Les bains extérieurs sont un plus (même si un des 2 ne fonctionnait pas réellement). L'espace spa est très propice à la détente. La salle de sport est également agréable. Les cours collectifs sont vraiment chouette, dommage qu'il n'y en ai pas plus. Pour le yoga c'est dommage également que la salle se trouve juste à côté des tapis de course. Autrement le personnel est très sympathique et très à l'écoute. Les coachs également. Les prix sont un peu élevés surtout que même si vous prenez 1 an ça ne réduit pas vraiment. (massage 30 min : preciser qu'il faut d'abord faire un massage de 60 min pour avoir droit au suivi de 30 min) Merci encore pour votre accueil. Je recommande fortement.

Negative experience: Pour le prix : trop de monde pour le nombre de machines dont certaines sont en panne, trop peu de service client, trop d’incohérences sur les plannings et entre la réception et les professeurs de cours, trop de mauvaises odeurs dans les vestiaires. L’espace spa était un havre de paix joliment décoré; aujourd’hui on y retrouve de la musique de night club, et un affreux faux gazon. Sinon l’intérieur est joli et le lieu est central.

C’est éclairé, propre, les bains sur le toit sont intimes et vous avez accès à 2 saunas ainsi que des espaces détente. Vous avez accès au service du bistro sur le toit, donc vous pouvez profiter des bains en passant une commande c’est vraiment un plus! Nous avons été très satisfaits des massages par Camille et Amandine Pour le souper nous avons traversé du côté du bistro où les plats et le service étaient également excellents! Bref, à refaire sans hésiter

Fantastic experience: La première personne que j’ai rencontré là bas était Kennedy. WOW! J’ai eu droit à un accueil des plus chaleureux. Elle avait une énergie contagieuse. Son approche était très amicale et professionnel à la fois. Certes, l’endroit est époustouflant mais le fait de savoir que nous encourageons une entreprise qui prône l’expérience client et que les employés sont heureux d’y travailler, ça n’a pas de prix. L’endroit n’est pas trop achalandé. C’est propre! C’est classe! Tout est dit :)

Fantastic experience: While staying in Montreal for the Summer, I purchased a one-month membership to have a regular "home gym." The fitness and spa facility at eSpace Thomas was the perfect place for daily workouts, group classes, and relaxation after a long day. It's clean, spacious, and with lots of natural light. And the staff is friendly and attentive. I'd highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: What a unique hidden-in-plain-sight gem!! The cachet and charm of this spa / gym is that it is in a converted church, so hints of its history and architectural details are found throughout. Sitting in the sun, sipping on a drink near the Jacuzzi tub, while watching the sun glimmer against the church bell tower - it doesn't get any better than this!! Service was impeccable; thank you Camille for your front desk hospitality, and to Malcolm for a rejuvenating massage and to Jen for your warm welcome! This is a spa that I will definitely be frequenting, and telling my friends about!!

Negative experience: The concept of a spa/gym is great, though this facility puts more emphasis on the spa portion of that mix. The gym is okay but the space is too small for the amount of equipment they try to squeeze into there. Everything feels jam packed right next to everything and gym goers are on top of one another. The vestiaires are also tiny - the moment there are more than 4 people changing at one time, there's no space for anyone else. Overpriced for what it is.

Negative experience: Malheureusement je pense de plus en plus a me désabonner car je ne suis pas satisfait de ce centre sportif, c'est dommage car il y a un énorme potentiel vu l'immeuble et l'emplacement. Points négatifs: mauvais management et la salle de sport manque de beaucoup de machines qu'on s'attends a voir dans un gym a ce prix la (assisted pull up, fly machine, glute machine, abdominaux avec poids, etc...) c'est pas toujours l'idéal les élastiques :) Les points positifs: Propre dans l'ensemble, il y a un Jacobs Ladder ce qui est assez rare dans les gyms, une salle de boxe (quand elle n'est pas réservée pour les cours), des bains extérieurs avec une belle grande terrasse (en travaux actuellement...) et un espace détente avec spa. Par contre c'est vraiment dommage de donner des cours de yoga dans l'espace détente du Spa. Je trouve que par manque de place ils diminuent l'expèrience client, a vouloir tout faire.

Negative experience: Beautiful facility. Sadly overpriced, poorly managed and rapidly deteriorating quality. The quality has also considerably gone down since we first joined over a year ago. They charge on par with Equinox but don't have the customer service or amenities to match... Prepare to pay over $200+ monthly for access to a space with... - limited operating hours - bathrooms with minimal amenities - a gym where personal trainers take up all the space for their clients - a pretentious crowd of gym-goers that won't smile or even nod their head - a constantly overcrowded spa where you can hear loud music blaring from the gym And the cherry on top: an extremely rude owner. Jen should hire someone to manage communications as she singlehandedly convinced me to cancel my membership with her rude and condescending tone.

Fantastic experience: Je donne 5 étoiles car la chambre était parfaite,moderne,service de bar à la chambre impeccable, produit dans la chambre de qualité (savon,shampoing,ect)L’emplacement est super,proche de tout.Nous avons passé de très bons moments.Seul bémol :Pas de stationnement et quand on entre dans l’hôtel ,pas vraiment de Lobby et on doit passer dans le bar pour aller à l’ascenseur qui mène au chambre.
