Positive experience: Great gym very clean, the only downside is that there is one stall and one urinal for every single man in the gym to share. During peak times you’re talking at least 50 dudes sharing one washroom I’m surprised there isn’t some sort of bylaw dictating the amount of washrooms a facility needs but it’s a joke that there’s only one every other fit4less has at least 4 stalls.

Negative experience: Really cool feature that they have on their website. It will happily take your bank account info, but can't produce a membership afterwards. "Hang tight, we're preparing your membership".. Been hanging tight for almost an hour now. Losing grip. ***update.. "OOPS something went wrong". I'll be watching for the charge to my bank account now. This is fun.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, good equipment

Negative experience: Had all of my gym stuff locked in a locker overnight came the next morning to the lock gone and everything was stolen.

Negative experience: ⚠️NOT 24/7 Showers only work during "STAFF" hours NOT when "gym" is "unattended. ...9-10pm Mon-Fri. ...10am-3pm WKNDS. If staff are no-shows, late or leave early. WATER is OFF in the showers. Controled by staff. PUSH TO START for 5MINUTES and there are NO TEMPERATURE controls. ITS SCOLDING HOT.

Positive experience: Good place to workout but its getting really busy nowadays

Negative experience: I’m super surprised on the amount of people that have said that this gym is clean. It is definitely NOT. The women’s washroom/change room go for days without a proper clean. By Saturday the garbage’s are over flowing. There was even a time I saw a Q-tip on the ground by one of the machines -for DAYS! A lot of the machines are showing their age and not operating properly. The only reason I still go here is because of the other people that go (great gym community). Otherwise this gym needs regular cleaners!

Positive experience: Great gym, but it always smells like a mixture of dill pickle chips and sweet onion chicken teriyaki.

Fantastic experience: This has to be the best Fit4Less out there. The facility is huge. The black card area is practically a whole separate gym. And the best thing about it all is that JJ and his team keep this place so pristine. It’s never dirty, locker rooms well maintained, and the weights are always in the right place.

Negative experience: It’s a good gym but they’re not giving all services which they promise like if you go in the night and you wanna get some massage after your workout then you won’t because you’ll find all the massage chairs are off and there’ll be nobody to help you out, if they’re saying it’s 24 hrs gym then all the equipments should available all the time regardless of day/ night

Negative experience: The head manager Douglas Hughes is extremely rude and unprofessional I tried canceling my "no commitment" membership only to be given a rude attitude and told I would be charged 2 more time before it will achilly be canceled when i asked for a number to call a Hire up he claimed he was the hireup and that Noone was above him. When I ask to make a complaint he said their was Noone to make a complaint to other then him. He hung up on me well trying to figure out how I can cancel the membership and made fun of me for not being able to afford the membership. I feel disappointed, discouraged, and discussed by the treatment of paying customers from this establishment (if you can even call it that) I hope Noone else has to experience this extremely rude man and this company's scummy practices.

Negative experience: Decent and clean gym and affordable pricing. I see the employees cleaning the equipments all the tim. I usually workout before work and the showers are kinda hot, only reason I gave 2 stars. I wish you guys fixed it.

Negative experience: Honestly, great gym for the price. BUT, the men's SHOWERS, Jesus, are they hot, not warm its straight up HOT water coming out of the showers and there s no valve to adjust the temperature of the water. The employees have requested the owner to fix it multiple times as they said with no success . Please fix this and I will come back with a 5 star review.

Positive experience: The only thing good about the gym is the black card area. Cardio bikes are extremely dated(iphone 1 chargers attached)

Negative experience: I tried a pass here a few years back and did not think the price was worth it for the equipment you get. Take your money and go to crunch or world gym. Price is comparable or even better and the equipment selection is better elsewhere.

Positive experience: It's not a bad gym for the price you pay. It's clean and not too busy (the times I went). A few things I'm not impressed with are that on some machines, the seats are wobbly, it definitely needs to be tightened. I also don't like that alot of the lower body equipment feels very stiff, like it needs to be greased or something. I also did not see a laying ham curl machine but im not sure if its in the black card member section (which I did not use on my visit).

Positive experience: This is a good Fit4Less location the manager is regularly on-site during the day and is cleaning the bathroom/change room every day. The equipment is well maintained and very open. I wish the Black Card area wasn't half the gym. I have a Black Card but don't like segregating between people's price ranges and haven't used it. (The manager should train the St. Thomas Fit4Less on how to maintain a gym and change room)

Negative experience: Came here to work out with a friend yesterday. First issue is their “day pass” is $20 while a 2 week membership is $14.99. Annoying, but fine. Next issue is something I’ve never experienced at a gym - they literally have half the gym segregated. Yes, that’s right - half the gym is literally separated, by a locked fence, with heavier weights and better equipment for the higher membership patrons. How this place is still in business when CRUNCH is right down the road with a a far superior facility (bigger, better and newer) and cheaper membership plans that include unlimited “bring a friend” passes with my membership, just boggles my mind. Sorry but definitely won’t be back.

Negative experience: Knew I was going for surgery when I signed up and asked about the membership in case I couldn’t come in. Was told no worries you never have to pay if you can’t use it. Well emailed and never got a reply as we had complications and it’s going to be a few months. Today I got an email asking if I e decided what to do??? No clue this is the first I’m hearing. Now that they have my money and money for services not used I’m told I can cancel but it’s 30 days notice required so I have to pay another month of service o can’t use. Avoid this gym and service

Positive experience: Fit4Less in Brantford is a smaller location compared to the one in Windsor, but it's not overcrowded. The gym is decently sized and well-maintained. While the staff is friendly, there are times when you might not see them around, which could lead to some waiting. Overall, it's a good option if you prefer a less crowded environment with a pleasant atmosphere.

Positive experience: The gym is decent but the staffed hours are only till 10 pm, definitely worth the price

Fantastic experience: Like this gym pretty Laid back showers changerooms lockers . Massage chairs.pretty good prices and machines . Noone bothers you . Open 24hrs only thing is massage chairs and tables are not accessible when no staff there.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym, they just doubled the size with a ton of new machines and equipment and theres no meatheads slamming the weights down and causing a commotion like at a lot of gyms. Also they have a vending machine with strawberry milk protein shakes which I love.

Positive experience: It's decent, quiet, and not too many Instagram goofs making an entire TV series inside (compared to crunch that's terrific) but I do wish the showers opened even a half hour before 7am.

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best gym in Brantford. Crunch scammed me when I tried quitting. World fitness closes way too early. And although the YMCA offers a lot more, it's expensive and still closes too soon

Always been a friendly and inviting atmosphere in my experience. With the new expansion coming soon will likely have much more specialty equipment including trx suspension training equipment

Negative experience: I joined on line and I tried to call and come in to Verifed and get a card and no one Answeredor at the desk when I got there. Not very happy.

Positive experience: Not bad, could use a chest fly machine and an incline chest press machine

Positive experience: Highest dumbells weight 75 lbs. It has squat racks and everything else you need. For the price it's great. 24 hours.

Positive experience: Upside, open 24 hours a day everyday of the year. Downside , relatively small resistance training equipment when compared with similarly priced gyms in the area . Also a lot of the equipment is starting to show its age and needs better maintenance.

Positive experience: Only down side is you can't shower from 11 pm to 7 am. Otherwise it's great

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for years, and to this day the amazing customer service still shocks me. I had a damaged card (February 5) and had the most wonderful employee assist me. She was friendly, super polite, helpful, she made sure the card worked and everything for me. I just love this location. I'd also like to mention after looking at some other reviews, that I was not charged at all during covid.

Negative experience: Very very Unethical business practise please please please do your research before joining. Not only are the staff members very disrespectful they are also extremely negligent with your personal information. If something seems to good to be true it’s because it is. First of all the equipment is very outdated. The environment isn’t welcoming at all. The business itself is very very unreliable and shady. The year of Covid they shut down all year but continued to charge their members who were not able to attend their gym yearly cleaning fees. We have some new great gyms in Brantford which seem more expensive but I promise you that you will be 100 % better off with a real business than this place and their shady shady practises. It will actually save you money in the long run. They do not care about their customers at all. Be aware that you are not just paying your biweekly fees but hidden in the contract will be yearly cleaning fees. *Please do not trust any personal information to them. My personal information including what are in my bank account which I have no idea how they can see that was given to somebody else without my permission by a receptionist.* Save your time :/ I don’t want anyone else to experience this shady unethical place !

Negative experience: Please please please do not go here. Pay the extra few dollars for a good up and up gym. They are so so shady. Very very unprofessional disrespectful and shady business practises. Read very fine print because they charge more than they tell you. It ends up adding up to more than a yearly price of a good gym ! It really needs to be known how unprofessional and shady this place is. Please do the research ! I’m just going to say… IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE THAN IT IS.

Positive experience: The staff member was really nice but alot of the machines were older and not in the best condition plus the layout of them isn't great. Feels very cramped and hard to navigate, although they do have a good amount of machines packed in there. change room/ bathroom was a little gross but to be fair I usually go to a brand new location so I might be a bit spoiled. Update: Added on a star because they had some renovations done (it looks much nicer) and added a HUGE black card member area.

Negative experience: Less busy than other gyms. Equipment is outdated. Liked their covid protocol but didn't feel welcomed or comfortable around staff. Seemed like a gossipy/toxic environment which I might not have noticed if I had my ear phones and didn't work out by the front desk. Decided to go somewhere else where staff are more inclusive and helpful.

Positive experience: Typical gym sometimes equipment is limited. It's the only gym that does not have showers open, every gym does including Goodlife, not sure why they won't open the showers here. There's more than one staff working and could clean the few showers that gets used instead of texting and chatting at the front desk.

Negative experience: No one answered the call. Wanted to get a membership and asked for the timings just want to be sure they are not closed in the lockdown but no body even pick the call. Trying from 3 days.

Fantastic experience: I like this gym. There is a lot of space to exercise. I found there everything I wanted. I use website to make appointment, it's very convenient, because it's available anytime.

Negative experience: Terrible rude manager! My membership was randomly cancelled in August. No payments came out of my account since August 17. At first he seemed good about getting reinstated. It is now almost October and money just randomly came out of my account. When I called, he told me it was my fault that i didn't know about it being reinstated because I didn't keep calling to check. He then told me that it was fixed on Sept 11 and that I was in a contract now until Sept 2021 even though my original contract was up in February 2021. No calls or emails to tell me it was fixed just money taken without notice! When I asked for a number to a regional manager, he refused and continued to be rude before ending the call! Not impressed! I have to say I stopped going after the last payment in August came out.....if I could rate 0 stars I would!

Negative experience: Do NOT sign up for this gym. Asked to cancel in April via proper channels and they are STILL taking my money in August.

Positive experience: New rules are ok. Not overly busy. You have to wear a mask when not lifting or running. You can only book 1 hour training sessions for now. Very clean.

Fantastic experience: Has showers within the respective change rooms. There is a change room with lockers inside. There's a water station beside the changerooms which isn't common at the fit4less gyms I've been to before and the you can control the heat/duration of the showers vs. a push button timer

Negative experience: Tools can run a business, but cant figure out how to put on closed captioning on their TV's. Poor customer service!

Fantastic experience: I like how cheap this place is because I don't workout and I haven't given up on my dreams of my past physique. This makes it an affordable option for when people ask what gym I go to without feeling too lazy.

Fantastic experience: I have been to 3 different locations of Fit4Less and this location goes ABOVE and BEYOND for their members! The two other locations don’t seem to really enforce gym etiquette and are disturbingly disgusting! This location is extremely extremely clean, the machines all work and are in excellent condition, all the weights you can find in correct spots! This gym should be the standard for Fit4Less across the board! The price is outstanding for the quality you get for this location. I will recommend this gym to anyone who will listen :)

Positive experience: Decent for price of membership but location is so small! Not a lot of room for floor workouts or stretching, (literally 6 mats in a corner) especially compared to their other locations. Clean gym, friendly staff and there’s a variety of equipment but the layout is unorganized and cramped because of how small the location is. Again, it’s 12 bucks a month so you get what you pay for!

Negative experience: I cancelled my membership last year and then realized this year they were still taking out money from my account. I went to fit4less to have this rectified and they found my signed paperwork cancelling my membership so they filled out a refund request form, they head to fill out 3 more because they still were taking out money. I have tried to be resonable about thier mistake but I want my money back its been 6 weeks and still nothing. I do not recommend this gym to anyone unless you want them stealing your money.

Positive experience: I was enjoying this gym then I found other people blocking equipment I surveyed and others are annoyed by this as well. Other gyms don't allow it. I will be changing gyms after term is finished.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for 5+ years and I'm quite happy with this gym. It is a bit far for me to get too now that Ive moved further from the Brantford location but I'm staying put. Not only is the price fair and affordable but it's open 24 hrs!!! Being able to go whenever I want is a huge plus!!!
