Fantastic experience: Riverstone Community Centre in Brampton is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for events or activities. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are excellent, with plenty of parking. A great place for the community to connect!

Negative experience: Facility is clean. However some of the staff are rude. The guy giving me a tour of the gym was complaining about giving the tour to his co workers while I was standing there. Very unprofessional. Also the set up in the change room is not safe. The showers are right by the entrance to the gym and there are no shower curtains/divisions.

Negative experience: My husband and I have been members at this gym for a year and I've had nothing but disappointing experiences. The gym itself is small, there is no dedicated stretch area or place to create a circuit. The gym is usually busy and the change rooms always smell heavily of chlorine from the pool. No sauna or steam room. I had once requested to rent a space for a private event, I never got any call or email back to confirm and when I asked again they couldn't find the paper application that I had filled out in front of them a week prior. Disorganized and unprofessional. The management is also pathetic. On a busy gym day, I had gone downstairs to the empty squash courts to skip/ dance as I didn't feel comfortable in the gym, I was told I wasn't allowed to be in a squash court without booking it first.. even though all 4 courts were empty and there was no one else around... This community center doesn't care about the community, save your time, money and effort and go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: My kid is enjoying the swimming classes here. A very nice place with professional coaches who give good attention to the kids.

Fantastic experience: I had my halud here and it was exceptional. It doesn't have the feel of a community center, loved the ambience. Loved the lighting. There was some communication error prior to booking but the event was so well done.i loved it.

Fantastic experience: Awesome community centre with all the amenities. Gym is well stocked , can get busy at times . Clean change rooms and facilities. lounges are great for events , very luxe. Staff are friendly and welcoming . City of Brampton Facilities are great, just wish prices were more fair considering it’s city owned. Must be due to all the other corporate gyms around not allowing them to give fair price. But it is what it is. Cheers

Negative experience: The pool needed cleaning. The change rooms smell like pee. Don't like the idea of a co-ed change room. I went in the evening for an adult swim. This can be improved

Negative experience: Don't book your event here. Misinformation when booking and they refused to provide a refund. We were quoted specific details for the event, in-person when booking, and on a binding agreement and then we were told that because they provided a link to smart serve, we were aware of the correct information even though already being misinformed. I have made my friends, family and guests well aware of this mishap and have advised them not to book with this community centre in the future. People make mistakes; sure. But this mistake cost us over $200.

Negative experience: Tried to attend a yoga class here. Arrived 5 minutes before the class started, only to be told the class was full because I hadn't registered online. So I would need to wait 15 minutes after the class started to see if those people didn't show up. Really? The yoga class is 45 minutes, so even though I showed up early, I would lose 15 minutes of the class if those who registered didn't show up. I ended up leaving bc I think there's little point in joining a yoga class 15 minutes into a session. You miss the whole warm up. I found out later 2 people never showed up. This seems like a silly system and unfair .. I understand they may have a small studio but first come, first serve works fine in all the other rec centres. What's the point of registering?? Covid is over!

Negative experience: I booked women’s only swimming lessons and when I get there I ran into a couple issues: 1) the men and women change room is the same room… there is zero privacy in the change rooms. 2) when we go to the swimming pool, there was a huge glass window separating the gym facility and the pool, all the people in the gym could see the PRIVATE WOMENS ONLY LESSONS. 3) during this time, it should be women only in the swimming pool area, however, there were men lounging in the chairs just watching the women take their lessons. How is this accommodating to women who are paying for women’s only lessons but there is absolutely no privacy provided. This is unacceptable for people for religious, cultural, and comfort reasons. I felt very uncomfortable and had to cancel my lessons. The receptionist was polite and helpful which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars.

Fantastic experience: Booked for my babyshower in May and I LOVED IT. We booked two rooms and had a patio as well! Most of the staff are nice especially the ladies at the front desk! Would book again in the future!

Fantastic experience: Just here to rave about the service and the flawless booking. I had my daughter’s champagne birthday at Riverstone CC recently. I got the two back rooms + the patio. I would highly recommend booking both rooms, they were so spacious! The party room and washrooms were immaculately clean. Annika was by far so attentive to my needs. The front desk staff as well as the cleaning staff were all so helpful. I was more than pleased with how easy it was to book this venue. I would highly recommend having your next event here, please ask for Annika, she is truly the best! I will definitely be back for any future events for my family.

Negative experience: Very poor service my kids were in splash 3 and they didn’t even get a permanent instructor in whole session and they got different instructor every time and not teaching anything just passing time .so the kids were not comfortable to see new face every week .

I have been trying to book this space over the course of 1 month and yet every time I phoned in, they say my spot is filled and have other individuals prioritized ahead of me. If you are looking for a venue to host your event- DON'T CONSIDER THIS SPACE.

Positive experience: newly opened wellness centre, I went for swimming disappointed by the small size pool and temperature of the pool. But I was very pleasantly surprized by the help from the lifeguards Priyanka. She helped me a lot to correct my strokes. I would visit this again.

Fantastic experience: We went here for a kids birthday party and they rented all hall space on the left. There were 3 doors which means it could be up to 3 rooms but the whole space was rented out. It's bright and clean. Love that there's a lot of accessible parking and they allowed for lots of space on both sides of the car, so it didn't matter which spot you parked in, you would have enough space to get out.

Fantastic experience: it was so much fun!! i went with my friend for the lane swim and it was an amazing experience, heated and salt water pool, no one else was there and the life guards were playing their playlist and honestly W music taste. lit would go again

Positive experience: New community centre opened near Ebenezer and Don minaker. It's great even the though its smaller than Gore community centre. I went for swimming.the facilities were there hot water and water for swimming was clean with life guards. N it would be great for kids. They would enjoy it. Learned about yoga classes. They are having it in evening. That perfect time for the people who are working. You should visit it. Staff is co operative.

Fantastic experience: Great experience hosting a child's birthday party at the Party Lounges 1 & 2. New and clean facility, straight-forward procedures, except that some front desk staff are still under training, so sometimes some queries took time to resolve prior to the party day. Nevertheless, it was a good experience. We and our guests loved the location.

Positive experience: Former country club, renovated with conference rooms, squash courts, small gym and salt water pool. The pool is a smaller size and the water temperature is at least 75F/24C to ensure stability of the salt based filtration system. No diving, as the deepest part is just over 5 ft/1.8m Perfect for cold winter weather swimming.

Fantastic experience: Just opened last Wednesday 7/13. Not a golf course any longer. Nice community and recreation centre. Took a tour of the facilities this afternoon - brand new squash courts in the lower level! Spacious fitness centre/gym and salt water pool for private lessons. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff… come check it out!
