Negative experience: Advertised to have staff there at certain times but they are not lol. We were locked out (pass wasn’t working) and rang the help thing for 15 minutes but no answer. At the odd time that they are there, they are so incredibly rude it is beyond me. Gym does not have any mirrors except for a single wall and also the mats are glued to the floor So very strange. Equipment is functional but nothing extraordinary and almost no one wipes after themselves.

Positive experience: Spacious and clean, you pretty much never have to wait to use equipment as there are many and few people workout at the same time. There is only one water fountain, would be great if there were more considering how big the gym is. Also if you want to talk to staff, you may have to wait or come back at other times as they’re not always available. Good overall.

Negative experience: No staff at 7:30 yet! It says on the sign 7:00 AM till 10:00 PM Staff on Site. Take note it’s Thursday when i visit. Wasted my time, waited there for half an hour.

Negative experience: Extremely annoying how often this place is understaffed on the regular hours that they advertised they have someone onsite. So being a “black card” member is useless since there is never someone to provide the services that this card offers.

Negative experience: Why the personnel is all the time inside of the staff room? it's 5, 6, 7 o'clock and nobody in the front desk, it's a kind of weird and hard to find personnel.

Negative experience: The store hours indicate that staff are available until 10 PM, but I consistently find no staff present after 9 PM. Each time I visit around that time, either no employees are around or they're leaving. Additionally, the changing rooms are not cleaned, and supplies like paper and cleaners are not restocked. Please consider updating the store hours to 9 PM or ensuring that your employees remain on duty until closing time. Thank you!

Positive experience: Great gym! Nice equipment to exercise on, and it's very spacious. The location isn't bad either. The showers are clean, temperature can't be adjusted, but it was just right—not too cold, not too hot.

Negative experience: I chose this gym because it assured me that I could shower until staff was on site (10pm). Today my husband had to shower and at 9pm all the showers were already locked. A shower takes literally 10min. The staff was rude and didn’t give the chance to have even a quick shower.

Positive experience: The machines when they break take way too long to get fixed, the stair master has been broken since early December. Also I really wish there was a water fill up machine because the washrooms are pretty gross. On the plus side the variety of equipment is not bad

Positive experience: It's clean and the temperature is good and variety of machines are available, usually you can't find any staff though! And when the cleaning tissues are finished no one will restock them for a long time

Negative experience: The showers supposed to be open at 7 am. But I never really saw it open it, that really annoyed me because i need to go to work after gym. But apparently there are no staff until 8 am.
Negative experience: This place lacks the fundamental features of a gym. The staff is always in their rooms, and no one attends to gym-related matters. Contrary to their advertised claims, I can't bring a guest with me using my membership card, and they insist that guests must come separately to the gym! Most of the treadmills are broken, and it's evident that routine maintenance isn't done. The handles of the cross-over machine are broken and unusable, or some of them are missing altogether. The bathrooms and toilets remain closed for an extended period for cleaning, but afterward, they are extremely dirty and nauseating. For several consecutive days, there was no soap and paper towels in the restroom! I'm truly sorry to say that, apart from a few individuals who come to exercise, most people at this gym are there to pass the time and check their phones. I observed a person occupying a workout machine for half an hour without reason, not allowing me to perform my own routine, claiming that they still had "4 sets of exercises left!" while sitting idly and looking at their phone. The management of this gym is weak and ineffective, transforming the appearance of this place into that of a failing business.

Negative experience: I hope Fit4less managers or owners read these reviews. I have been coming here for three years now and unfortunately the only positive point I’ve found about it is the low price which has convinced me that low price is not always a positive point. I hope management monitor the quality of services and the enforcement of rules and standards at the gym, because staff don’t. There’s always people who drop the weights and maluse the equipment and when you let the staff know their first response to find a way to avoid the conflict and at most press the alarm. There’s been many times I have let the staff know that some users are using the equipment at the cost of others but they’d prefer to hide in their room and not take any action. Gym staff are not present at desk most of the times and they seem so reluctant in doing their job. To provide a good experience for every user, staff and management should revisit the gym standards and rules and enforce them better. Everyone pays and expects reasonable service.

Negative experience: I will NOT recommend this gym to anyone. I would give ZERO stars if needed. The equipment is ALWAYS out of service and sometimes takes months for repair. Also, NO staff are available as a 24-hour gym. I just canceled my membership with Fit4less for the reasons I just mentioned. If you are looking for a reliable gym, please go to Planet Fitness instead. Update: photos attached

Positive experience: My experience was great. Staff (at least the lady I was talking to) seem friendly. Plenty of room for exercises and no waiting around for a specific machine to use! My last experience was at the rec. centre and that was like a zoo compared to this facility. My only concern is the fact when you walk into the facility for the first time if you’re not good with technology your going to have a problem getting in. I hoped that I could try the gym out for free but a guest pass is $21.00… Anyway I am now a member so no more overpaying for less then 1 hr use of the gym. Parking well, it’s everywhere so there’s no issue with that. And overall I’d recommend this place to friends and family!

Negative experience: It's always so friggin hot and stuffy. Please turn on some A/C or just get SOME air circulation goin. It's a gym it should be kept cool so that people don't over heat
Negative experience: Wow. Very rude and unprofessional staff. There is no management at this place. I liked the gym, and this is the reason I have been using this gym since 2016, but the employees are very rude, especially Marina and her friend. I totally forgot her name to mention it here. My brother forgot his pass to get it in and they called security and security let him in because he had an electronic version of his ID. They argued with my brother for 30 min, and she said I won’t let you guys come in anymore. If I ask for any reason of course there is no reason. The next day I went to the gym and my pass did not work and there was nobody there because they left at 9 pm. So, I called the next day to see what the reason was, they said we will ask the manager to call you. After 2 days I never got the calls from the manager, so I called them again and they told the same story. Finally, I reached the manager the next following day and asked what the reason was. She said your brother argued with the two unbelievable behavior and rude girls. So, why did the girls block me? Why has nobody called me for several days? Why does nobody care about the members? I am on a diet, and I must use the gym every day because I pay a lot for the company to make a special food for me. I stopped using the gym for 5 days. How would you describe this? How would you accept this? How could you use this gym? I canceled my membership after 7 years including my brother. Now I am using a different gym with my other two brothers. There is no management at this place, and you cannot even find a manager, even you do, the manager is also rude and never tells you the right answer. She tries to cancel your membership. So disappointed!

Positive experience: Pretty decent selection of workout equipment. Be sure to bring your own water because there are no water fountains so you either have to buy water or fill up in the bathroom sink.
Fantastic experience: I workout every day, it has a lot of Sports Equipment, very Celine, it is not crowded but the thing is there are no personal trainers. So if you have a question about workouts nobody can answer and help you.

Negative experience: Easy to sign up, difficult to cancel. Can’t cancel over the phone and then there’s a 30 day notice even if you’ve gone past the initial contract. All gyms rely on memberships from people that don’t go, but this one kicks it up a notch with contracts and making canceling inconvenient
Fantastic experience: I love working out here. Was here back in 2018 and it’s still a very open and available gym. You have access to all machines and everyone that goes here is respectful and reserved.

Negative experience: Like the equipment and location, however might as well never be staffed. The person that seems to be the manager is rude, bathrooms are always not stocked or dirty, seems like they are constantly looking for staff(might have to do with management or pay ♂️) and when equipment is broken it is falls on deaf ears
Positive experience: I would give this gym 5 stars, only if they were have a security night shift . Because the gym should be available 24 hours as they said. I had a very bad experience when I decided to enter the gym late . Firstly I found the mall entrance door is closed and there was a scanner outside designed for gym card , I tried to use it many times to open the door it was giving me green light and door still locked after trying many times . I looked for another way to get in and I found a way through the park area , and unfortunately there is no guild way for that . Secondly and the most worst situation when I arrived into the gym entrance my card stop working because I used it many times on the mall door . The question here is why they put gym scanner at the mall entrance for no reason! And why there is no security or any staff if they are opening 24 hours ?! Why I have to figure out the way to entrance and the entrance door is closed?!
Negative experience: Poor customer service and rude manager. I enrolled for the membership for my daughter and she went to Gym on the same day. She couldn’t enter the gym. We tried one more time on another day and she couldn't get in. So, it supposed some staff be available at the gym the second time and we waited 30 min and nobody showed up. After a few months I found out our membership is active and they were deducting money from my account bi-weekly. I reached out to the manager and explained the situation and she said because my daughter is under 19 she can not use the gym unsupervised. That’s why she couldn’t enter when there is no staff. I asked for a refund and she didn’t accept. Then I asked for freezing my membership officially by email. Again after two weeks, they were deducting the membership fee from my account. So, I reached out again and she said there is no more freezing option! ( which was on their website!!). I went to the gym and personally talked to her and asked for a refund. She denied. In the end, I asked to cancel my membership as the only option they left for me! However, they deducted another two payments again for the termination!! Long story short, I paid around $125 for nothing.

Negative experience: Very disappointing. As a teen my membership is limited to staff hours. I see no problem with this, that said what I DO have a PROBLEM with is the fact that not once, but TWICE I have arrived at 9:40pm, and 9:25pm (today and yesterday) to try and workout only to be locked out because there were no staff to let me in. Genuinely disappointed by the lack of care of the staff. Leaving 30+ min early? TWO DAYS IN A ROW?? Very frustrating. Please do better.
Happy Minors may only use a Fit4Less club as a 4Less member, and are to access the club during staffed hours only. Check-ins must be at least 30 minutes prior to staffed hours ending. Thanks!
Negative experience: As one of your first clients 5 years ago it saddens me to write this as I rarely write bad ones. But you must look into the rude behaviour of your manager "josie" at your north vancouver location. I will not get into what happened as I respect the rules and policies but she needs proper training in management or vocabulary skills. Please read up on the many other negative reviews about her specifically. If this is the example she sets for your new hire employees then I'd hate to see how they get trained. She also was not wearing a name tag, I had to ask her name. I can easily walk across the street and join the other gyms but will give your company the benefit of the doubt because overall its a great gym. Please look this employee as she ruins the atmosphere. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: It's always been nice and quiet. This gym provides all the tools I might need in my exercise routine at a very fair and non committal price. Also; the little extras for self pampering are a highlight
Positive experience: I came here during unstaffed hours. The gym itself was pretty decent and well equipped save for the rack of free weight squat racks but a guest pass was a ridiculous 15$ which i had no choice but to fork over because it wss Victoria day and everywhere else was closed
Negative experience: Please be advised that this review is strictly for the rude behaviour of staff and not the gym itself. The gym is facilitated with great equipment and machines. However, yesterday my sister, my buddy, and I were training and in the middle of our workouts we were interrupted by a staff member (her name was JOSIE). She asked my sister to leave the facility because we were "Training her" where as we were all just working out together. I told her "there are a lot of spouses, and friends who work out together how is this any different?" she mentioned "its different because I say it is, RULES ARE RULES" she threatened to cancel all of our memberships if my sister did not leave the gym. My sister eventually left and so did we after such horrendous behaviour by JOSIE. As we were leaving we saw about 5 members were at the front desk waiting for staff to help them and a few guest at the doors waiting to be let into the facility, but there was no staff member as they were. I waited in line as I wanted to cancel my membership after what had occurred to my sister, my buddy, and myself. we waited about 35 mins for JOSIE to show up and her first words were "I am doing something around the gym and I don't have time to stand at the front all day for questions. please visit our website in the help section to get your questions answered". This behaviour is absolutely appalling I am very upset with how we were treated, interrupted, threatened to have our memberships taken away, and basically thrown out. I ask whoever is in charge of this location and/or fit4less Vancouver please spend a bit more time on training staff on customer service because NOBODY wants to work out in a gym with staff who behave like this.

Negative experience: I liked the gym as an athlete , but the eployees there are so rude a girl named JOSIE were working the other day there were line of people at front desk while she was chatting in locker rooms. When I asked for her managers email address she did not respond and said it’s not her job and said have a good day!!! I’m an athlete and I do bodybuilding I have gym memberships all over the town but never had a experience like this . JOSIE eventually canceled my membership for no reason I emailed head office and called them no respond so far . People go to the gym to change their mood and relieve stress but with employees like JOSIE and her attitude towards members it’s not possible . So disappointed!
Negative experience: Today i went to fit4less as usual and there was an incredibly rude and disrespectful women called Josie who was in charge today She insulted me and left in middle of our conversation and when i tried to ask her something she told me i have too many things to do can’t you see? Maybe she has mental issues or personal problem in her private life but she gave me bad energy and I couldn’t even work out as good as always! I talked to other people in the gym and all of them had the same unacceptable experience which is not forgivable! Negative experience: I had a membership here for three years. At first it was great and staff were helpful. But it just kept going downhill. Staff cared less and enforced nothing. I renewed my membership last October when COVID was more under control and yet nobody was wearing masks and men were blowing snot in the weights area. I never went back and tried multiple times to get my pass reimbursed but I guess it was a $240 gym session. Disgusting.

Positive experience: Gets pretty crowded at times and the cement floor and lack of windows gives a very depressing feeling. Bathrooms are very small and bad, would highly recommend going outside if the gym to use the malls bathroom if necessary. Would recommend if you just want a cheap gym membership and don't care much for anything else; however, Fitness World on Lonsdale is far superior in every way.

Negative experience: The gym itself is quite nice and spacious. The review is about the staff which are quite rude and unaccommodating. A few weeks back, I took my electric scooter inside the gym with me as these gets stolen very quickly when left outside. The lady came right at me telling me I could not have it inside with me. Even though I thought it was strange, I said that its ok and just asked if they could make an exception for that day as I was already there rather than going back home to drop it and book another appointment. She refused and said that it had to go now, so I ended up leaving. We are talking about a small 35lbs scooter that fits easily through the gate. Every gym or store have been to let me in without any problem and often encourage me to take it in with me so it’s secured. Fast forward to today, I show up to my appointment and realized that I left my wallet home. The same lady was at the front. She let me in and I explained her the situation. She started lecturing me about not letting me in next time if I don’t have my card etc etc etc. Then again we are taking about a one time thing as I always carry my wallet with my card. This gym may be cheap but it isn’t a reason for poor customer service. If you want to feel welcome to your gym, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere!
Negative experience: The gym overall is decent, has what you need equipment wise. The only thing that pushed me away was that they were 24hr which worked great for me because of my work schedule. But now the hours are not suitable for my schedule and that was a MAJOR downfall for my situation. 24hr access was the only thing I was looking for in a gym and they took that perk away. Bummer
Fantastic experience: Great space to work out!
Negative experience: This primary about the staff and the gym members, they don't make sure people have their masks on at all times and they don't make sure people wipe down the equipment after use. After telling them this, they said we can't keep track of it. Lol thats your only job, to clean the gym. Too much slacking off. Also the members need to uphold their responsibility to keep the gym clean and safe.
Negative experience: I don't know what the current Black Card membership is, as I only go there for holidays and this busy holiday spot hasn't had much variety for a long time, so I can't use the hydromassage at the moment. The whole place really smells of sweat and most of the gym equipment is dirty. Of course it wasn't like that a few years ago. I really feel sorry for the management.

Negative experience: The worst experience ever! They are still deducting money from my account after I cancelled my membership about 6 months ago and called them 3 times. If you have the same experience, don't trust their word and report them to your bank to prevent extra charges later.
Negative experience: The worst customer service and the worst management The gym’s manager offended me, and he threaded me to cancel my membership because I complained about his customer service and the way that he talks because it's so rude and offensive, It was a really good place before the new manager, I wish someone notice him to change his way unless they will lose all their customers
