Negative experience: The rink is freezing. I know it's a hockey rink. There are many heaters, but only one works. Useless if they aren't on..

Positive experience: I have a bone to pick with a number of people who are working out in the fitness centre. No complaints about how the staff maintains the establishment and their provided services. I would have given a rating of 5/5 stars but this is a small complaint goes towards those who have been attending this specific fitness centre. I believe there are a number of those who doesn't remember that specific rule where you're supposed to finish up "X" amount of sets on any of the machines that are being used in order for the next person to use it after them. Believe it or not there are others who got places to go and responsibilities to attend to. Why is there a need for those to sit on a machine, stagnant for more than at least minutes 5 and be on their phones if they're taking a break? Finish up your set and move on to the next machine just so that others can use it too! It's not that hard!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited this community centre and found it to be a nice enough place to hang out. The highlight for me was the spot where you can view the rink from the inside while staying warm. It's perfect for those who don't want to brave the cold but still want to watch the action. And if you do decide to go into the rink, you'll be pleased to know that there's a button at the top of the bleachers that turns on the heat! How cool is that? Overall, I had a good experience here and would recommend it to others who are looking for a comfortable place to enjoy some ice skating or hockey.

Fantastic experience: Great place to have a child’s birthday party. There multi purpose rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is super accommodating!

Negative experience: Absolute garbage service. Drove 1.5 hours to be turned away from a family skate cause I didn’t have parents present… no wonder this community center is a graveyard with this service.

Positive experience: Nice enough community centre. There is a decent spot to view the rink from the inside where it is warm. And if you go into the rink, at the top of the bleachers, there is a button to turn on the heat!

Negative experience: Nice facility.. I'm confused as to why you have to pay $6.25 to play some sports in the gym when it's free to play outdoor hockey or to go public skating. Double standard! Does it really cost the town much to turn the lights on? The gym is always empty yet certain staff members will get angry if you bring your own basketball to shoot some hoops. Where is the sense of community? They should be encouraging folks to come out and play different sports instead of charging them.. Makes me upset when I see a kid playing basketball only to be questioned by certain staff members on whether or not they paid the $6.25!

Fantastic experience: I have been training at this gym for almost a year. The gym is great, high ceilings, bright natural light, not busy, very spacious, sanitizer wipes everywhere within range, very clean, staff are super friendly, management not so much, people/members are friendly. Drop in fee is $7.25, it’s the best gym in town. I do wish the facility would update their strength equipment and have more machines.

Positive experience: Had my sons bday party here it was an awesome time. Just need to be a little more organized when parties are coming. I had 50.people coming and I had to wait to get in to.set up. I wasnt happy but they made up for it.

Positive experience: It's nostalgic to build a community centre around a really old ice pad, but this venue is top notch all around with the exception being the pad itself. From the heated seating area inside the arena the "boxes" for score keeping and penalties are on the same side, there's a ton of obstructive areas from many vantage points. It was very frustrating at times because the different layers of vertical glass made it difficult to see at times. As for the restroom I used, it was clean, but older than dirt in design and atheists, but not a big deal as it was almost comical. Lots of parking with many entrances, but the biggest jewel was there outdoors rink, that was very impressive. I spoke with the staff and they gave me some sight to public hockey at this facility, they use normal width bets but they are only about 18 inches height. That allows them to offer public skate hockey where you don't really need goalies or protective gear because the puck doesn't get raised. That in my opinion is amazing.

Positive experience: The price isn't too bad, the equipment selection is somewhat to be desired, but it has the basics. The place is clean and doesn't get busy often so there is always space to workout, unfortunately the hours aren't the greatest. If you're starting/experimenting with workouts or shy, this place would be worth considering.
