Fantastic experience: I like this gym very much the way it's set up. We have a lot of private space in it. You can work out. I do not like the open gym wide open.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym, members clean their stuff after every use. Everyone keeps to themselves. Most of the time not busy which is great!

Positive experience: No towels, like, ever. Or maybe just when I come at busy times they happen to be out. Can't they get more towels or run a load of laundry more often ? Cost cutting measures ? Lame.

Negative experience: The staff who work here look like they hate their jobs. Leaving front desk vacant for 15 minutes + is not acceptable and is also a major security and safety concern Washrooms are super small in relevancy to the size of the space.

Negative experience: So this is second time something weird happened with me and my friend in goodlife harwood at front desk. One day when me and my friend came to the gym in the night at 10:00 pm one black girl with red hair was sitting at front desk she saw us that we are coming towards the main door but she took some time to open. At that day we were like it's OK after talking with that girl but on that day she showed some weird expression. From that day my friend started having some problem with his scan card and today my friend tried to enter in gym but his scan card didn't worked so he was waiting at front desk for around 10 min because no one was at reception so we waited until someone came. And we saw that same girl my friend questioned to that same girl that why their is no one on reception. And she said I was on break. Is their only one person for entrance service. And after we asked for manager's name and contact and she didn't answer and left from that place and another staff lady came and they started fighting with my friend. They are saying my friend was rude he was not I was with him I was talking very politely with them but she was also showing attitude to me this is not acceptable. They are openly doing racism in a big organization like goodlife. It is not beneficial to pay high amount for facing racism. Please take some strict action about that. Also look at another feedbacks this kind of situations also happened with others I don't know why organization is not taking step about that.

Fantastic experience: Much bigger inside than it looks but well organized, clean and inviting.

Positive experience: After being too many goodlife gyms, this one needs a revamp big time. I personally am not a big fan of the Layout, location of gym equipment, etc. Sucks when it's the closest gym to you, lol

Fantastic experience: Kiki and saru were extremely helpful today with my kids. Thank you both for joining the classes and making my kids comfortable within the gym environment. GM Trevor and fitness manager Mat were also excellent and treated us like family!! Thank you all again for your hospitality and look forward to seeing you all again soon!!

Positive experience: Giving a 4 star because it's my fav gym to work out but it's time to bring back jump other gyms have days cares for mom's like myself who are working on themselves and now that it's summer it's so hard to get in because where am I putting my son.. really consider your single parents GL

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff, friendly people, had everything you need

Negative experience: No staff at the front which is quite concerning. I waited for 20+ mins at the front to grab a towel and still no staff. I understand this location does not get too busy, however, one staff should always be present at the front for various reasons. Also, the female change room is not very clean.

Positive experience: It’s a fantastic gym with lots of space and tons of equipment. I switched to this location because the sign out front says it’s open 24 hours. This only applies 3 days a week apparently. Little disappointing to find out they close at 6pm on weekends. Should take the 24 hour sign down since it applies less than 50% of the time.

Negative experience: "I'm not doing math at 1am", staff told me when I inquired about my monthly bill

Fantastic experience: Harwood. My favourite gym. I love this gym. The staff always keep me smiling and laughing through my workout. The lady with the cool purple hair (Theresa) is the hardest worker I know. She is always cleaning, smiling and looks like she genuinely enjoys life. The trainer Kate is hilarious. Over hearing her funny banter with her coworkers keeps me laughing throughout my workout. I don’t think she’s been at Harwood for a long time but she is a great addition to the gym. Last but not least, Cass. Even though she’s a newly converted Dallas Stars fan *eye roll*, she will always put the leafs game on the tv’s for me and I can still hear her screaming… I mean cheering from across the gym when the leafs score ;) Her positive and helpful attitude throughout her whole shift is a delight to see. Keep up the amazing work Ajax Harwood!

Fantastic experience: I joined GL at the beginning of January 2023, after retiring from my career. Goals were flexibility, cardio, and conditioning. I ended up doing boot camp boxing with Clark and due to the conditioning I won the slamball championship. So far I have lost over 10 pounds, cut my insulin down in addition to lowering my average blood sugar. Thanks to Cass, Kiki, Asheba, Mark and everyone who always provide su ch a positive energy. Fantastic experience: I love this gym. It’s easily one of my top favourite gyms in Ajax. The cleanliness of the facility is exceptional, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's always a pleasure to work out in such a positive and inviting environment.

Fantastic experience: I really love this gym. It's big and not packed. Has friendly staff. Clean and well maintained equipment. One of the late night staff even went out of his way to help me out. I really appreciated that. Overall, it is a great place that is worth going out of your way for.

Negative experience: While I like this gym because it's my home gym and I've been going here for years, quite a few of the staff (the female staff and one in particular) are very rude. Acting like it's a problem if I ask her a question, ignore me but will talk to other customers. Women hating on other women for no other reason than because I am female. If this continues, I will be talking to the especially rude particular staff member, talking to a manager and taking it further if needed. Don't treat me poorly because you don't like your job. Go work somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Was greeted with so much hospitality and care when approached the front-desk staff for help. A gentleman named “Dru” assisted me with unfreezing my membership and I’m so pleased with the entire interaction, truthfully I was under the impression that he was the manager of the facility due to the true authentic compassion that I received from him. This man is carrying the entire facility.

Fantastic experience: A large size clean gym with the best staff and support. Equipment is well maintained and the place is not overly crowded, allowing me to workout without waiting for members to finish their set or where I've seen at other gyms getting off their phones. The team is great and friendly!!

Negative experience: Had several issues having accounts set up for my daughter and I. The issues were over a year apart, so my thought is that this is a very common occurrence (gym employee mistyped account number then the gym attempted to assess me a few because it bounced), they took money at the wrong intervals etc. The issues were resolved after several calls about each issue. Never had a problem with my other gym so not sure why Goodlife can’t get it right.

Fantastic experience: What a great club to workout at. Very friendly and helpful staff. I renewed my membership with Asheba, who was most helpful explaining the packages that they have. I didn't feel pressured to sign up right away. Looking forward to working out here. Thanks for all your help Asheba!

Fantastic experience: Goodlife has a name and it delivers. This location especially amazing for three reasons- 1. It is located very close to my home, 5 minute drive. 2. It is a big and spacious gym. Tons of equipments and usually not busy at all!! 3. The staff, they are just amazing! I want to shout out to Katie (at front), who has always welcomed with a great smile, friendly attitude, and being on top of things! She helped with so many things related to the gym! Fantastic experience: Been going here for 10 years. This is my home Goodlife gym and my favourite of the Durham Region. Always friendly staff, excellent classes and great equipment.

Fantastic experience: I joined in October after a long break! I am enjoying the classes. Fotini in body barre and Marta in body pump are literally the best trainers I’ve ever worked with. Even in a class of 25 or more people they make you feel like they are cheering for you. They welcome feedback, questions and comments and are very informative. Without these 2 I wouldn’t be at the gym as much as I am!!! Thank you Marta and Fotini and GoodLife

Positive experience: I live 5 mins away from the gym. People on the desk always greet with a hello or goodbye. Very friendly folks. I just wish that it’s 24hrs all week long, cause I have to drive to either Whitby or Taunton location ✌️

Positive experience: In my opinion, they shouldnt have a 24 hours sign outside unless you know...its actually open 24 hours. This place is open 24 hours only mon to fri but closes at 6pm on weekends. To me this isnt a true 24 hours gym and as such should not be displaying or promoting itself as one.

Fantastic experience: Jess and Dru, the dynamic two (duo). They’re the only reason I come to this gym. Best GoodLife employees ever, GOATs, real MVPs ! Keep up the great work you two!

Fantastic experience: They revoked my membership for liking pineapple on my pizza :( The puffy hair lady always tells me to have a good day, how dare she! and the other tall girl always has such a nice smile and is so easy to talk to, always taking up my workout time. Sheesh! But they still get a 5 star since they got a cool guy who likes one piece. Respects.

I was able to do it all in less than 15 minutes over the phone. She answered all my questions and made sure I got the best package to suit my goals. ☺️

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, tried to call in 6 times to see if open no answer. When I got there all the employees were just sitting around and talking/on their phones. Definitely just ignored the calls

All are so friendly and professional. My favourite people that work there are Jess and Kate. These ladies are hardworking and make going to the gym more enjoyable!

Negative experience: It’s pretty ridiculous that I pay to go to this gym but am unable to select ANY time slots because they all book within ten seconds. I understand with the pandemic that safety measures are in place, but this is just ridiculous. Try lowering the amount of times people can book per week to allow EVERYONE a chance to go. It’d make for a lot less stress and a lot more happy clients.

Fantastic experience: I prefer this gym to both of the Goodlifes in Pickering, I find the gym has a much better selection of equipment overall and is much more spacious. The staff are friendly, not intimidating and seem to be very helpful whenever needed. I would recommend giving this place a shot if you're interested in getting into shape.

Fantastic experience: Too anyone reading this, GoodLife Harwood Ajax plaza has the best customer service starting from the front desk You are always greeted with smiles from Cass, Jess, Skye, Katee, Kiki the moment you walk in. When you check the membership reception from Bree, you are left with a feeling of being appreciated and valued. Asheba the assistant manager always gives you a reason to come back and takes the time to walk guest around the gym and mingle like Bree does, these ladies I’ve all called are fully trained with professionalism that makes you feel welcome. Mark whom is always walking around assuring the gym is clean and members are happy, he just has a huge heart. Trevor the GM has certainly made great choices in hiring the perfect staff to motivate and inspire staff. And he himself always Carrie’s a welcoming smile When you dive into PT, Matt the fitness manager, Stephen, Dania, Clark and Youseff, are incredible trainers who value the members they Train Anyone looking for the perfect location to exercise and stay healthy, look no further than Harwood plaza, your fitness needs and goals will be met there
