Negative experience: The customer service is terrible, the managers are rude and have zero social skills. On top of that, they constantly blast crappy music at a high volume. When you request them to lower the volume, they flat out refuse. So in a nutshell, the gym is badly managed and I would not recommend it.

The gym still looks clean and well-equipped, and she mentioned they are adding more equipment . I'm happy I made the decision to return to this location.

Negative experience: Very small gym, usually overcrowded, limited equipment. On top of that, both managers are rude, obnoxious and a pain to deal with. Also, their music selection is horrible. When you kindly request to lower the music a bit, they rudely refuse.

Negative experience: Horrible experience with the manager. I came to this location on a free trial, which was promoted off the anytime fitness website with my plan for a 2 year membership afterward. The first thing that happens when I enter the gym, is this manager demanding things. The next day I show up she's in my face, being incredibly condescending, acting like im ripping her off. I've been in the gym my whole life, since a child. And I've never experienced such awful management.

Negative experience: No space, too busy, people leave gym and come back and expect that their machine is not in use by anyone, good luck finding finding weights, 100% cardio machines are hogged by women mostly, other machines are mostly hogged by GYM bros , don’t waste your time and money here or brace yourself to do just stretching and go home

Negative experience: I had a horrible experience at this gym. Came here for the 7 day trial they announce on their website but apparently its a lie. The manager nisrine who had this arrogant atitude on her the whole time btw explained that she would only give us 2 days because it was wednesday and if i asked nicely next week she would give me 2 more days which i found ridiculous. Also the manager started spraying rexona deodorant all over the gym awhile people were working out which was super intoxicating. The loud noise of the vaccuming didnt help the experience also. Finally the gym is just super small, barely any machines. I dont recommend this gym to anyone, mainly for not having to deal with this annoying manager.

Negative experience: Been trying over weeks getting in touch with anyone to sign up. Good luck in trying to get a response from the staff, they can't even pick up or return a simple phone call, even give an e-mail back. (I haven't contacted them during peak times either). Left my contacts through VM, no excuse. Signed up through Golds Gym instead, got in and worked out the same exact day.

Negative experience: This is a very small gym and as long you do not go during the busier times (6:00pm-9:00pm), you could get a decent workout in. The best thing that comes from getting a membership here is this gym being open 24 hours. Unfortunately, the equipment is quite limited but that is to be expected. The gym does overall look clean, however I noticed that the members do not like to wipe the equipment down. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager was not the greatest as most would say. I decided to cancel my membership due to financial reasons, and since I was still within the cancellation period, it was expected that I receive a full refund. I had made two payments, the down payment on the day I signed up and my first official payment the day after. I had only gotten one refund, and had waited more than one month to receive my other one which I still have not received to this day. I submitted my inquiry on their website for that specific location which was provided in great detail. Nisirine called me and told me that I will not be receiving another refund and is not supposed to receive one for an odd reason of “because I was a previous member 3 years ago”. Even the cancellation form, where Nisirine had signed and wrote (in her handwriting) that I were to be refunded for the two payments, was not enough evidence. While on the phone with Nisirine, I had kindly asked to, “please give me a moment to explain” because I could never get a sentence in without being interrupted. At the end, I was still interrupted and she never gave me a chance. I offered to come to the location within 10 minutes, but because they closed in about 40 minutes, she refused. She was quick to say goodbye and ended the call before I could even say anything back. I felt very disrespected and tried to solve the matter through Anytime Fitness’s customer service instead (which did not go anywhere or solve anything at all because of their limited access). Apparently, customer service had reached out to this gym several times but could not get an answer from them. I am making this review after 2 months of experiencing this, as I wanted to give it some time. I gave a lot of patience but Nisirine’s behaviour really stood out to me, which is why I will not recommend this gym. Unfortunately due to my terrible experience, I would rather lose the payment I made than go to their gym and waste my time to reason with her.

Negative experience: I just read a previous review of high theft around the area (and just any area) with bicycle theft even if it's locked up. When I got there, I brought my bicycle inside. This lady started yelling and giving this unpleasant tone that I cannot bring my bicycle in. Sure, I can take the risk and lock it up outside. But what I didn't appreciate is the disrespectful tone in her voice. Apparently she's the franchise owner of that Anytime Fitness location, Nisrin. I mentioned to the other person sitting in the office and he mentioned that "it's in the policy". Please show me where it states that! (I think it's advantageous to promote healthy living and welcome people that ride their bicycles) Also, there seems to have a lack of sanitary spray bottles and wipes in the gym. It goes to show how unsanitary this location is without any proper maintenance from lack of supplies. Going in the shower, there was a bundle of hair in the drain resulting with the water not draining properly! Understandable that it came from a patron, but where is the maintenance from the staff? Definitely the tone of the owner's voice stirred up my mood but the unsanitary experience was the icing on the cake of why I am putting this bad review. Seems like you have to work on your customer service based on a lot of previous reviews!

Positive experience: The staff there is very friendly and the boss lady is very knowledgeable when it comes to fitness and nutrition. But the bad side is the members. Some treat the gym like it's their own house. Not cleaning after using equipment or the toilet not flushed after the guys use it. Plus they abuse and wreck the equipment. Otherwise it's an ok gym.

Positive experience: I'm going to be honest....I decided to give this gym a chance, depending on how things go I will be back to change my review in the near future...I gave it a three for now only due to the customer service. I went online and made an appointment to take a tour and get a 7day trial. It was for a 7pm. When I arrived i got I was approach by the Trainor's and was asked(very rudely) what was I doing there and why was I there. I told them I was booked for an appointment. When the manager came to see me she was not in a friendly mood and was mad at me because it was closing and I was booked for at the same time. It wasn't until I started to get angry myself and reminded her that it's not my fault their system booked me the same time they closed. Good customer service goes a long ways. I didn't go there for them that's why I am giving the gym a chance. So far it's clean and I haven't seen anything wrong with the equipment so I don't know what the others who left those reviews are saying...

Fantastic experience: Good Environment

Negative experience: I am disappointed with the customer service. Cables machine has been broken for more than three months. I cut myself when putting the safety arm on one of the squat racks(Left). The cut wasn't minor, and while checking the safety arm had some spikes on it from corrosion or whatever. I informed the gym management about the  problem and needed to be resolved. Manager told me that we're all adults here. Good thing that she wrapped tape around the safety arm. I even asked her most of the equipment were not properly oiled and maintained, and she was already upset. She stated that parts for the Cable Machines are coming from the United States. I'm not sure if it's ATF policy to obtain all of their equipment and parts from US or can be bought from Amazon, which is easily available.

Positive experience: They have listened & did quite some improvement to the gym. I would suggest ATF to please arrange rubberised pads for deadlift. It is good gym to work out. Lot of room for improvement. Dt. 10/2024 Gym should restrict people who coming in a stink and spoiling the workout area

Negative experience: Worst service ever. I went to the gym on 6th June 2023, Tuesday 11am & the girl at the front desk came up with worst customer service ever. I had a one time free pass for 7 days for the same location. The gym management should coordinate with the floor staff about the promotions. Arriving their she replied it’s not a hotel that anyone can come in and use the facilities. I am certified gym trainer, just moved from Toronto checking out my options to choose the right gym for me . I reckon they are not interested in getting people. Thanks for giving a reason for not choosing you. I would love to give a 0 star if i could.

She inspired me to feel welcome returning to a gym environment after a period of inactivity caused by mismanagement and dissatisfaction with my previous gym at Anytime Fitness - Skypointe. In my experience with Anytime Fitness locations including Skypointe and District, Westwinds stands out as being held to a higher standard while under Nisrine's leadership. As a previous employee of a gym in Manitoba, this location exceeds all of my expectations and deserves 5 gold stars. Positive experience: This is one of the Top Anytime fitness locations in Calgary . I hit this one when jobsite travel gets me close . Big dumbell rack . Climbing bars off squat rack. NO garbage junk Precor machines here like most locations. Life fitness machines that are multi adjustable for small ladies & large men . High grade Leg Press , big dumbell rack , good solid adjustable benches . Always been very clean, that includes showers & bathrooms . Bigger bathrooms have really good removable spray heads this is a nice bonus . Many locations have cheap junk . Only negative Is a low number of free weight plates so when it's busy this can be frustrating.

Positive experience: Seems to be consistently busy and dirty in the bathrooms around 1830 every time but other than that it’s decent. Some of the cardio machines are a little well used compared to your other AF locations however they work so that is a positive.

Negative experience: I would give a zero star if I could! Totally a scam gym. They first said we can cancel it after one year membership ends, but now they said it will still get charged for one extra month because they need “30-day notice period”. They charge you $50 each person for machine maintenance at the end of your membership but they never fix their machine when it is broken!

Fantastic experience: Loving it so far. The manager was charismatic and great to talk to. I came at a relatively calm time, and the atmosphere was welcoming. No regrets coming to this gym.
