Fantastic experience: I love the way staff always keep the place nice and clean

Negative experience: Nice gym and equipment but prices are very expensive. Also, there is a "Women's only area" which I wouldn't have a problem with if it was actually in a separate room from the rest of the gym where the women would actually have privacy. The women can access the whole gym, but men are restricted to not using equipment in the women only section, which I consider very unfair considering how much you have to pay for a membership.

Fantastic experience: Free water and sani dump. Go to the dog park to find sani dump. Need more signs for sani dump

Negative experience: Great work out room but not much else. Year pass for a family is almost $1600.00 with no swimming pool How is that even possible. Bonnyville is 30 minutes away and almost 1/3 of the price. Wow. Just moved here and this is more than a pass in calgary to the wave pool and it is all access. Have to pay extra for the climbing wall as well.

Positive experience: Cold Lake did an excellent job hosting the U15 Provincial girls hockey team. Great facility!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place. Ice is kept almost perfect. Lots of room in the dressing room. An best of all your bench is just outside the dressing room door

Negative experience: Make sure you come with a perfect little workout outfit or you’ll get kicked out!! I was wearing socks so my feet would be flat for my exercises and was told I would have to leave. I guess next time I should show up in my steel toed boots…

Negative experience: I was talking nice to the lady at the front about the bouncy houses and she asked if those were my kids on the indoor playground, I told her yes because I went to the flea market for cabbage rolls real fast. She told me if I leave my kids again she going to call the cops on me, not even gone more then 5 minutes. My son told me that she went in there and told my son, she was going to call the cops, very rude. We just moved here, not friendly to natives.

Fantastic experience: Modern facility with plenty of room in the changing rooms. My daughter said the ice was perfect. We were there for an out of town tournament.

Fantastic experience: kids had fun with toy and activity choices. Ended outing with excellent fries from commissary. Great way to burn energy and avoid -30°+ cold

Negative experience: For a gym membership, the Energy Centre is way too expensive for the average person, implementing absurd rules such as “no chalk” while there’s 2-3 employees sitting around and never cleaning. Additionally, the hours of the gym (starting at 6AM only) is not acceptable, especially for those who start their day quite early. I do not recommend!

Fantastic experience: We went to the Farmers Market there. Got some beautiful baked goods and fresh from the garden veggies.

Fantastic experience: I watched my two grandsons practice hockey in this amazingly new and modern facility. I was well designed and laid out and is totally accessible for wheelchairs. The people who run the facility keep it very clean and well organized. It's a great addition to the city of Cold Lake and it residents.

Positive experience: Beautiful arena. I'm from Penticton, home of the V's. Great venue, good game, shame that the 'Ice' didn't win.

Positive experience: Droped off some large quantities of cardboard and the place was handy. But it seems the bins face the wrong way I guess so the trucks picking up the bins can asscess them but it made it a tad awkward for people dropping off stuff.

Positive experience: For a small town, I would say this gym punches above its weight. Equipment is new and nice. Free weight dumbbell section is a little small and can get very crowded but otherwise good. Rates are very competitive when you consider what an equivalent membership would be in a place like Calgary. Can get very hot in the summer.

Fantastic experience: World class facility for sure , everything you could need in one complex , the numerous outdoor venues, soccer , baseball, skate park , rugby and more all the fields in great shape well manicured and no weeds !! Indoors the college, high school, arenas, workout area, track, climbing wall the list goes on , acres of free parking, free public transportation out front, impeccably maintained , spotless !! I've seen the Edmonton eskimos practice at the tri-lesiure center in spruce grove , Ovechkin and the Washington capitals practice at the LRC in leduc, why not make some connections and bring a professional team to cold lake , exhibition games ??? its a growing trend with smaller communities in Canada, at any rate hats off to the Energy center if I lived here I'd utilize this facility daily.

Fantastic experience: We had alot of fun!! As a family to get out on the track and exercise at the Energy Centre was so peaceful! And the play area is kept so clean. Our grand daughter enjoys going there to play. We want to try the climbing wall! The staff are very helpful! Then we all headed over to Booster Juice!! I love the Banana Strawberry!!! Very refreshing! I recommend families to go there!!!

Fantastic experience: Really nice facility, connected to a college and a high school. Seems to have a little of everything, but there will be lots of kids during the school year as it is built into a complex with a high school and a college.
