Fantastic experience: Go there to watch hockey games

Fantastic experience: They are always friendly and polite here, I'm always impressed by that. I find the facility as a whole very clean. The pool and change room are clean, bright, and maintained. The kids pool area is quite large with lots of toys. Hot tub is a good size so you don't feel cramped. The main pool is a bit small for the volume of people who attend on the weekend but it is equipped with a diving board and climbing wall. I do find that the lanes are usually very busy and sometimes you can't get in for quite a while. Or if you are in a slow lane a fast swimmer will share the lane with you and be aggressive. The lanes cross the pool shallow to deep so you can't walk the entire way (like you can at tsawwassen pool). The gym upstairs is small but it has a good range of machines and weights. It's always clean and there's always an attendant there ready to help you. Gym is accessible by lift if needed.

Positive experience: It is a solid facility, nice staff. Just a little small in my opinion. And the little Cafe is disgustingly over priced. Sauna needs new benches. Whoever built them was not a good carpenter. Looks terrible.

Positive experience: Love this place, though the rock wall for the pool is never open and there disgusting band aids just lying around. But the bathrooms are very good there. Better to buy a pass and then it will be cheaper. Though after all the place is nice for family

Positive experience: Very cold during hockey season. But so HOT during lacrosse. As a spectator I’m sweating and very uncomfortable, couldn’t even imagine how the players feel during the game. Very disappointed that there’s no AC in that beautiful facility… too cheap??? Despite their problem with the ac, it’s great to have a coffee shop right in the front doors. 3/5 only because how hot it flipping gets.

Positive experience: Family change rooms were so dirty and stinky. Lifeguards were amazing and did a great job when someone fell and hit their head getting out of the hot tub. I was impressed with their response!

Negative experience: Good facility - BUT ridiculous that taking a swimming course with my 1.5year old child paying 60$ for once a week for 45minute classes, a total of 5 classes over a month they told us we are not allowed to swim after or enjoy the facility after the class we should get dressed and go back to the front and pay admission again, even if we’re swimming for an additional 15 mins.. what A JOKE! Tax funded facilities that we pay for want to charge us for rec centres on our property taxes then also a swimming course ( no problem ) than again to enjoy the facilities after is ridiculous. pay the drop in and save ur cash

Fantastic experience: I live in Richmond and we have great pools, but they are busy and loud. My grandson lives in Ladner so we've started going there. No more than a dozen people in on Mondays midday when we go, so nice and quiet. An older building but clean and staff is friendly. Great for my 3 year old grandson. Janet

Negative experience: They took the scale out of the weight room Furthermore the walking pool is just empty and a disgusting eye sore. They just renovated the place and added a cold shower. that's it.

Negative experience: The pool is an absolute dump. Even after a big money renovation. The pool is so dated and boring for kids.(and adults for that matter) Change rooms were unkept: muddy, hair and garbage throughout. The fact that you pay a non delta resident rate is ridiculous. No other pool in the lower mainland has a *non resident fee, typical Ladner move. Would never come back anyways. To top it off staff at front desk were rude and seemed troubled with just doing their job. Unfortunately cant give 0 stars.

Fantastic experience: Love this facility. It's quiet in the pool mid day, gym doesn't get too busy, sauna gets decently hot, the patrons are pleasant. I wouldn't go here to lift super heavy because the gym is upstairs and dead lifting heavy and upstairs gym is never good. But all things considered, nice place. Also skating rink and small bike park.

Negative experience: Pool changes hours for spring break without even posting a notice anywhere... really make it difficult to use the facilities. How many people are working in the leisure center and they can't even update the online website...

Fantastic experience: I never use the place, but my daughter enjoys swimming and there is a pool. If she is happy, then so am I.

Positive experience: Heard there will be much needed repairs done. Too many used bandaids left day after day for the pool deck to be cleaned regularly. Needs more funding or better managing.

Positive experience: Great facility. Nicely kept. But why are the washrooms in the arena locked when there is a fair sized crowd there to watch a youth's game? The only one that was open quickly ran out of paper towels. Ladner...you can do better easily.

Negative experience: Susan at the ladner Leisure centre needs a wake up call! I had my moms name added to my 100 passes that i was not using, the lady at sungod offered a refund and i asked if it was ok to transfer the passes over to my moms name who lives in Richmond but swims in ladner, she said that they cant transfer but she can add a note to the account, she added the note to the account and said my mom can use her card and it would now be attached to my account, i confirmed this a few times because i didnt want to cause problems for my senior mom. my mom has been using this card for months now with no issue until this morning. Susan very rudely and abrupt told my mom no you cant use this your'e from Richmond. didnt even care to look at the account to see the note. until my mom who is a very kind non confrontational person phoned me and told me what happened, went back to the front desk to speak to susan who didnt wnat anything to do with my mom finally came to the phone i explained and she said " do you know who your'e talking to" she finally looked at the account and confirmed that the note was there and this was ok. Susan let me remind you, you work for the city which means you work FOR the public, your job is public relations. if you dont have the time to speak to people respectfully or listen to them especially when they are seniors then you should not be working for the public. I hope you redirect your negative energy to something more positive.

Negative experience: Their website is the absolute worst. No schedules anywhere to be found except an old one from 3 or 4 yrs ago. Tells u nothing about any of the programs. Anyways very amateur website. And good luck finding out any drop in hockey info!! But then again all of deltas facilities don't want to show u a schedule they just tell u. "Ya. We have that" but when!!!!!

Fantastic experience: For a small location in a relatively small town, this leisure center is quite packed with stuff. There's an ice rink, two swimming pools, multiple exercise rooms and a sauna. It's a great place to take your family for some physical activities

Negative experience: THIS REVIEW WAS FROM DURING COVID. NOT SURE HOW IT IS NOW. Now they make the 1 and only shower available only when the swimming session starts and close it down at the end before you can use it at the end of the hour long session. Sounds like swimmers' comfort isn't a priority but pool chemistry sure is. That's quite unhelpful!

Negative experience: I think the front desk staff should be more kind. Especially older employees are the worst.

Positive experience: The Lad we Leisure Center is always a great family fun spot for me. Friendly staff, ample amenities and a reasonable price. The pools are decent and never really too crowded. Yes there is lessons in the kiddie pool during the evening but nothing to get too fussed about. They also have a salt water pool, easing the Chlorine exposure. The ice rink is good fun as well. I haven’t used the gym facilities but it always seems to have people in and out. Sungod Physio is located in the complex as well. Have had some excellent treatment in there.

Fantastic experience: Lander leisure centre is a great model and example for other Community Centres. They have excellent staff and solid facility and really reasonable prices compared most other leisure centres.

Fantastic experience: Ladner Leisure Centre has a good pool. Includes a children's pool, lap pool, a small pool that former had a waterslide but has since been removed. A hot tub, a sauna and a rock wall, but it is not open all the time. There is also a gym/weight room upstairs, and an ice rink in the winter months. Also in the Ladner Leisure Centre is a Blenz, as well as some vending machines. It's a complete leisure experience.

Would be nice to have soap dispensers in shower but Im not mad there weren't. 1 star for the lady at the front who looks like she would rather be anywhere else in the entire world and treats everyone like an inconvenience Great place to take kids. If you want a bigger pool try Watermania just across the tunnel

Fantastic experience: Luv this rec center. The jets in the Jacuzzi are mombo powerful. Very Clean. Like they have a steam room as well as a dry sauna. Great atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Nice place for a relaxing swim. Come alone or bring your kids. It has a nice, large atmosphere. A regular swimming pool with lanes, a children's pool, some hot tubs, and some other stuff for you to figure out.

Negative experience: Dont even deserve the one star. Open later on weekdays than weekends when we actually have the time. What a complete joke. Never again. Lame as hell

Positive experience: This is pricey for a family of 5 as they charge admission per person - ends up being about $20. However it's always quiet and there's a large shallow area for toddlers.

Negative experience: Why do our kids and seniors have to go so far should be a center in the little town or do We need the LBA approval sad if we do Same with a mcdonalds ? OR ANY NON YUPPY RESTAURANT S 2$ for a coffea & muffin or 5$ for coffea &4$ for muffin sounds like steavston ???
